The coverage doesn't start when you you purchase coverage, you have to wait a grace period. I've paid for the warranty, it should be available after a 5-7 days.

The central Air conditioning contractor was assigned on 9/7/22 and still hasn't responded when they were going to come out. This is the 4'th time in a row they've been called out and not once have they opened up the lower inside panel to see why the drip pan is overflowing and spilling all over the carpet.

Had plumber,refrigerator guy, and ac guy . Plumber did not fix problem. Appliance put new thermostat and still freezer froze . Ac guy was good and fixed problem. Seems to be companies they work with are not very knowledgeable and seem to come from me les away.

Very disappointed with how long it took for them to get a hold of a contractor. Our AC is been out for almost 2 weeks, they took 5 days to geta hold of someone, this is very irresponsible since we pay our due every month with out fail. Instead of replacing my dishwasher they kept sending people out to fix it. It would have been cheaper to replace it. I still have a dishwasher that doesn't work correctly but I gave up on AHS's ability to truly fix it.

I've been sent 3 different companies to fix my air. Each company was not qualified to repair my unit. Dispatch did not use information given to representatives to get a qualified company to service my unit. I spoke to a supervisor yesterday but must wait an additional 24-48 hours for a response. I have been without air conditioning since Sept. 9.

Waited 2 months for a replacement dryer. I filed BBB complaint after NO access to manager despite repeated requests. AHS sent 3 repairman every 2-3 weeks to try to repair the same 'dangerous machine that smells of smoke'. Each time a week more of waiting on parts. I lost work time repeatedly calling, emailing and awaiting servicemen.

I bought a home and the warranty was included. Had a water heater issue they wouldn't cover, had a plumbing issue that wasn't fixed correctly and was told to pay the service fee again to get it fixed correctly. They did replace my condenser but undersized it.

My experience with my clothes dryer that stop working on July 18 and American shells has sent out Accord Appliances five times to fix my dryer and it still is not working talking to American she'll it's like talking to a wall I will never do business again with them after my dryer has been fixed or replaced this has been the worst experience with a company that I have ever had.

My hot water heater started leaking badly. I called AHS immediately and was advised it would take 10 days to fix it. The leak continued damaging my garage. I called AHS again and they recognized that they were the cause of the delay, but still would not pay to have my garage fixed. Unbelievable. So despite them causing the damage by their delay? I had to come out of pocket to fix the damage. I felt like AHS has stolen from me. I called several times but just got the run around from operators on the phone that barely spoke English and did seem to understand me. So frustrating.

I paid for pool plumbing and heating coverage and was declined service when I needed it. Was advised Solar was not included however this was not listed in the contract while they have specifically outlined items not included. to me, this is breach of contract and AHS will look for any option to get out of providing coverage. I did get service on two other items this year, but they cost far less than the total I paid AHS,

It takes forever to replace things, and you pick out bad reviewed venders. You charge way too much from us too, almost as much as just paying from our pocket. I don't understand and you guys pick out the cheapest things. I just think you care nothing about home owners but only care about making money off of us. This is the worst experience I've had with home warranty company and I can't wait for our contract to be over to be honest. I really wanted to like AHS, so I'm extremely disappointed. We have been waiting for our cash out pay check for a few months now. Please give us back our money.

Costs have gone up considerably and other than our pool contractors, their providers have been ineffective, unfriendly and not trustworthy. The costs have gone up considerably and when it came time to potentially replace an item, they found ways to avoid doing so citing unusual reasons for not providing replacements.

Because you used a garbage loop hole to get out of paying a claim. My water heater is rated for 150 psi, and I had 85 psi coming into the house. But your BS loop hole says I can only have 70 psi coming into the house. Then, you made me pay ANOTHER 75 dollars for a new claim to fix the PRV instead of using the company you sent that said the PRV was bad.

almost 3 months to fix the problem. They only sent one technician who knew how to do the job and that poor young kid Juan they sometimes didn't get the parts to that he needed in order to finish off jobs. Juan was actually just the best person to talk to at Wallace. Everybody else was a joke. I told Juan go work for Hess air (I know the owners he can give them my contact info) or demand a raise or get some people under you or something

All calls for service or questions regarding issues are routed through foreign call caters. Call takers are not empowered to make decisions. Though always courteous, they read scripts. Language and cultural differences make communication awkward and frustrating. I cannot speak to anyone with authority. I am disappointed in AHS. I definitely will not recommend.

I have had many problems just getting feedback from AHS, getting a solution to my problem, and really have received no help thus far in resolving. After more than 35 days I still have the same problem, cannot get a call back from AHS or the vendor, and have called almost every day for 3 weeks. The resolution and customer service has been a complete failure and I am still calling to try and get help.

Multiple calls trying to get a new contractor for the fridge repair since the original contractor did not show up when scheduled. On a repair with our AC/furnace, we had the $75 fee plus a couple hundred charge out of our pocket. Now, after 7 years of having AHS, we find out there is a fee for cancelling membership! How else can we rate you but with a negative rating. If there was a number less than zero, I would rate you lower.

We have had 2 plumbing problem, which was a blockage, and the person who came out guessed what our problem was however wanted to sell me a 2 way cleanout the first time and the second wanted to dig up my floor to fix the problem with a $7,000.00 bill not cover by AHS. We got a second opinion plumber that said he could not tell us unless he put a camera thru our pipes, which is not covered by AHS. It turns out it was a clog pipe and show us 3 times how the pipes did not have any root problems.

Poor quality of contractors assigned the last year. Frustration with customer service as they are obviously trained to DENY EVERY CLAIM until you argue your point. I pay for this service. I have had both good and bad experiences. The last plumber tha came had exorbitant prices. I had to find someone outside of American home shield. On the other hand, Sam's Garage Doors was great and very helpful.
