I’m tired of paying AHS $100 a month to only end up paying an additional service fee of $80, then having to pay the company that comes out because not much is ever covered!! I’ve been a loyal customer for over 20 years, to have my monthly bill go up by $20 per month recently!!! It’s seems useless to have this service!!

I don't like that you don't get a breakdown bill of what the warranty actually paid for. So it I'm paying a 100 service fee then 300 plus in fees the warranty doesn't cover what actually did you all cover?

Not satisfied with this company. There are exclusions everywhere and was told in order to get a payment for a broken pool heater, I would have to have it fixed first, show proof to AHS and then 21 days later I would get my check in the mail… in what world?!?

It took 3 weeks for my refrigerator to be fixed. They just increased the monthly fee by fifteen dollars which makes it unaffordable to me. I will have to cancel in August when my year is up. Up to this point, I would have recommended it to anyone.

AHS said they didn't have a contractor to install my dishwasher and sent me an email equesting that I get my own installer. Then they denied that they told me this and refused to allow me to send documentation, saying AHS is not allowed to send or receive emails because they "might be used to hurt the company." If this isn't promptly resolved I'm cancelling my two policies.

AHS is a huge ripoff. I would caution anyone that is looking due a home warranty company to not use American Home Sheild. I have been with them for over 7 yesrs with relatively few claims. However, I now need them to replace my ac and they are giving me the run around. I have been without ac for over a month and a half. Presently, I have had to get a lawyer involved to assist me in getting my ac replaced by AHS . This is a very bad company.

The customer service is not good . Most of the customer service reps are in a foreign country and that makes it difficult to understand them . Also AHS is a rip off .... not paying for much of anything anymore. Your prices are steadily going up and you’re declining to pay for most things .... via reciting the contract . We thought A-US AIR CONDITIONING had done a good job and we left them a good review, a few hours later we discovered that when they blew out the condensate line, they separated a joint and water damaged the texture of the wall below. I have tried to contact them multiple times to see how they want to handle paying for the damage. Apparently, they want to do nothing. If AHS sends you to them, I would ask for someone else. Our problem is NOT with AHS other than that they said we just had to take it up with the contractor.

Hot water heater tank is leaking. Had to turn the water off from my street for the leak to stop . I do not have water. Been a week now... Still waiting for approval from warranty company. I feel like certain things should be a priority. Running water is one of them. Very disappointed. Still waiting.

American Home Shield does not have any quality control for services provided by contractors. My experience has not been good as contractors of AHS not always perform a good job. This makes more work for AHS as customers call to take care of bad jobs.

called about ceiling fan being really noisy. contract says it would cover all parts. service call was made and the contractor said there is still noise so contractor would submit for replacement. no follow up from AHS. I called twice, first time they said they would call back within 24 hours. no calls. I called second time, agent said it's not covered afterall and won't be replace. DON'T RECOMMEND THIS WARRANTY IF YOU NEED REPLACEMENT It won't be replaced.
