The technology is okay but the customer service is terrible. When you call about an issue you get bounced from one person to another and most calls end up taking 45 minutes to an hour and rarely does the issue get resolved. I am actually sorry I went with Vivint, I should have stayed with my previous security system provider.

Right now my Vivint account is active but I am currently paying for services that were not installed. The installation guy left several things unopened and uninstalled like my motion detector. I have tried to get someone to come out and take a look at it but have been unsuccessful.

Awful. Vivint sells you items you don't need or want and doesn't protect what you want protected. You think you're signing a five year loan for equipment but they don't tell you it's for service too. Then to get out of the contract they not only require the equipment loan be paid but 50% of the service loan which in my case was 50 months. Real rip off.

I would not go with Vivint again. After three months with them, they changed way I could login to my account (only mobile, not by computer). Since I only have a company cell phone that does not allow uploading apps, I can no longer see my cameras or adjust my security settings. This is essentially a change of contract in my opinion. I am currently in the process of pursuing discontinuing my plan.

Everything was good up until I needed to cancel my service! It took over 2 months to get it canceled and I didn't even live at that residence anymore and paid for 2 and a half months of payments! With MULTIPLE calls and hours spent on hold waiting to talk to someone and every time being told I would get credited back...IT NEVER HAPPENED!

A Bit unsettling. I feel a bit misled. I wasn't informed that the equipment was aquired through a loan until afterwards. I was told it would be a soft inquiry and not affect my credit but in actually it was a loan. I do not like the manner in which this information was expalined to me and I can not help but feel info was intentionally withheld to make a sale. Now I absolutely feel stuck in this situation. How else should I feel?

The equipment wasn’t that expensive and works very well but the take over fee did turn out to be expensive. It was over a thousand dollars. They should have a pricelist and they should go over the contract. The salesman did not say anything about it.

Bad the installer was really bad he was at my house for 6 hours and the system has never worked. Tried calling them several times and have yet to talk to anyone so I can cancel my service. I'm out in the country so internet is bad but I feel like they should have know that. I'm sure that's why the installer stayed so long trying to get the system to work. Have a really bad taste in my mouth for Vivint. My next option is get my attorney involved. Can't even get someone on the phone. Really really bad experience with this company.

Alarm system works....cameras inferior constantly going off line, and are slow to pick up movement. Cameras were expensive and not good quality. The images are not clear with the cameras.

Poor, deceptive, costly. Vivint may offer you a lot of things but you are being coerced by sales reps who are more focused on lining pockets over supporting your needs. In order to get a "lower" monthly monitoring fee they wanted to charge me $2000 for $600 of equipment. It took 10 phone calls to cancel and finally get all of my money back after reading over the contract in detail and cancelling in the first 24 hours.

Poor. Equipment malfunctions less than two months installed. Technician service is unreliable and takes 30 days to schedule repairs after a no show, no call. Very disappointing, cars were vandalized while key camera was down.

1. The video surveillance on the app is unavailable several times a week. 2. The representative has not returned numerous calls and texts that I have sent regarding my set up. He had said I could get a plug for my lamp to connect to the system.

I would not recommend. I have had to about 8-10 times with an issue I'm having and there has been no follow up or resolution. The only follow up I got was from a sales rep trying to sell me more services. I even expressed my displeasure with the rep.

The staff has been extremely friendly however resolving my issues has not been easy. I have been charged for equipment I do not have as well as close to $1800 for future services with an interest rate. When I call to get help I'm on the phone for an hour and a half minimum and transferred two or three times. At the end of my call I'm told my information is being summited. Right now I have $2500 plus in charges for equipment and services with a interest rate unresolved. To make matters worse they ran a second credit check on me after I have the system installed causing my FICO score to drop.

Have only been a customer for 56 weeks, Sensors that were installed in identical doors were different with no explanation. Sensor on one door failed and another was shipped.. The support desk is intolerable in regards to clarity. I have had to call multiple times the get a clear line without background noise. Technicians scramble for a response. At one time I was offered a $15 refund in lieu of a practical solution.

I have had nothing but issues with my cameras. Maybe 10% of the time the camera functions work when I'm not at home on the same network. When attempting to rewind it goes back days at a time, the zoom quality is sub par, the installation was a complete joke that I was left cleaning up at 10:30pm. I can continue on and on but the words left will suffice.
