Worst company ever! I was told I'd pay for the first month then get 4 free. After almost 5 months with them and 3 phone calls, I have yet to receive a free month. Honestly I would've canceled already but I've put it off because I know it'll be a run around just to do that. Every time I've called, they've been reasonably nice, I get passed around to different people or talked to like I'm making up what I was told. I fully regret giving Vivint my business.

Not thrilled my sensor in my garage door fell into the door which doesn't allow it to be picked up by alarm system. I have called and nothing happens. The o e at my back door pops out half the time. The workmanship was just horrible!!!

Absolutely terrible. Two separate occasions now I have needed to view important events from the indoor camera. Both times the camera happened to be recorded an event every couple of minutes. I figured they could go back and pull the event anyways but there was no help with this. Was told I was out of luck. Pretty terrible I am paying almost $100 a month for Vivint and when I really need to use my services both times I could not receive the help I needed.

Not good I have a few complaints. Some of the products do not work tired to trouble shoot myself couldnt get it to work called customer service they could not help. Wanted to return said product ive been given the run around. Now I'm moving to a new address was told I could have someone come out and take equipment down and take to new home free of charge. NOT TRUE I'm being charged a fee to do this so over all I'm am very very disappointed and annoyed with vivant .

I would not recommend Vivint to anyone. I was lied to and mislead when originally getting the system. I have had the system in place since March and now one of the cameras has multiple time slots that state “video not available". What is the point of having a camera system that you can't go back and retrieve video from? The panel disconnects from the internet every month or so and I have to reboot the entire system multiple times to get things working again. I have no issues with anything else that is connected to my internet, only the Vivint system.

Some aspects are great but then when you realize you spent so much money and you could have don't it on your own for 1:4 of the price it's disappointing. We got a garage door thing and it didn't get installed at service so that was a pointless buy as it still hasn't been. Wish we would have saved our money.

The service has been very poor. I have been calling to fix my sensors. Batteries have been change ando still don't work. My son is having the same trouble with sensors. Very disappointing in Vivint. Your rep gave me his word that everything will be different from the other companies but it's the same. We pay our monthly but never can get someone to fix anything

Terrible. I was ripped off. I was under the impression I was paying $2500 for both of my systems since I have two properties. Then I found out I was paying $5000 for both which is completely ridiculous. It was too late and I could not return the equipment. One of property alarm is still having issues and they will not fix it. I will never do business with this company again.

The worst ever! They told me I would get 2 week free trial and I didn't like it they'd come pick it up. Little did I know I was opening up a credit loan so I called to cancel it took them over a month to get the equipment and they never closed out my account and I was still getting charged every month through fortiva and there still calling me everyday saying I owe from aug-now when it was only suppose to be a free trial.

I'm a little underwhelmed. When something goes wrong, as is the case right now, instructions are not clear and getting help is not easy. There is also a lot of lag time between video activation and notification.

The sales person, didn't come through on his promise to provide a certificate of monitoring. The equipment is faulty. At nights I keep getting notifications of packages drop off. Yes I turned down the sensitivity on the sensor. Plus others that I cant remember. I keep getting my bill after the due date. I'm guessing they do this to charge the late fee.

I haven't had the best experience after I transferred to Vivint. My garage door has a serious delay when opening because they are using an additional system to open the door. My panel is always disconnecting from the wifi...it's been more of a pain to use.

worst experience ever. Hub and doorbell camera microphone do not work every other week and I cannot just be on the phone all the time for it. Also for people out there do not get into this contract because it all the way a raw deal . They delay you in answering your inquiry and you are given 48 hours to cancel. Everything is hasty. You can just purchase yourself camera and have unified network built for your and a linux server to monitor your own house for 1/10 of the price.

The sales person does not tell you thewhole truth and the total price of the package $3,000 paid thru Citizen One. Also it is a 5 year plan you CANNOT opt out before that. When I sell the house, the new home owners have to agree to accept the package or I will have to remove it and leave empty places on the wall. I had Front Point and once Vivint is paid off I will goback to Front Point.

The salesman came into my house in the evening, I accepted his product because I thought it would be good to update the setup already in my house. I was surprised when they wanted to do the work on the same night. The one man doing the actual setup did not finish and did not leave until after 10 p.m. The doorbell and camera do not work or reset.

Not so good. It trips every time the lights go out due to storms. We have to unplug the system and plug it back in to reset it. My garage door opener has been getting stuck. We didn't have any problems prior.

Frustrating and exceedingly below expectations. I have had the system for only 3-4 months and I have already had to call multiple times due to faulty devices. The problems are still there and when I called the last time to fix the problem, I was sent the completely wrong replacement, showing the person didn't take the time to understand my problem. I don't even bother to activate the system anymore because something is always wrong with it anyways so it wouldn't arm if I wanted it to.

When I bought the home, Vivint was already set up so I thought I would just stick with them but that has been a bad decision. They convinced me to restore the service with them and claimed all of my alarms would be activated but it only worked for about a week and I cant get it back online.

Bad customer service. Nearly impossible to talk to a person. They just want to sell you something. Once you're a customer and in a contract then your stuck. If you do get to speak to a human they are usually rude.

Terrible. I spent an hour on the phone with no ability on the phone person to help. He said someone would follow up with me. Zero follow up. I am sure that is not the norm, but I am really frustrated. I am okay with a lapse in service, but someone needs to follow up with me. I have no security, i left for a week with no service, so I need you guys to step up. I do believe you will, not just bitching here. Dave.

The technology is okay but the customer service is terrible. When you call about an issue you get bounced from one person to another and most calls end up taking 45 minutes to an hour and rarely does the issue get resolved. I am actually sorry I went with Vivint, I should have stayed with my previous security system provider.
