My experience with your company is the worst I have ever had in my life. The workers have consistently been horrible toward my wife and I. The only time I have had any type of good experience is with the techs that come out to the house. I have never had a good encounter on the phone with the customer service. I have been hung up on and told that it was my fault the glass break and the fire alarm go off without any cause. That my dogs within the past 3 months [though I have had them both the entire time I have had the system] trigger the alarms. I have had to leave my job for the sensors going off. My wife set the alarm off one night because someone was outside out house lurking in the bushes when we weren't home. The company called her and she explained what was going on. INSTEAD of just calling police, they call her, THEN call me. Then I was asked since I am a police officer if I even want them to send someone. I will NEVER reccommend this company to anyone looking for home security. Why on earth would I ever send a reference for a company that makes me and my wife feel unsafe in our own home?

For the most part good. Don't like that they continue to charge high rates to long time customers while bringing in new customers at low rate. Also am having equipment problems and although I have called several times they couldn't do anything about it when they came out because of course it was the one day the system didn't act up so they can only replace equipment if it's acting up that minute. Wouldn't want to take the customers word for it. Not as if I was trying to get up graded equipment just replaced with same.

Not great, I had issues and a manager gave me her phone number to call and discuss the issues and when I called, it was the main phone number. I have the representative the managers name and she never heard of her or tried to connect me with someone else. I emailed the manager back and she never responded. Horrible customer service and with every customer service representative they quoted me a different price to come out for service call. Technical support takes too long over phone. I have literally been on the phone with Vivint from 5 pm to 8 or 9 pm with no resolution. It's like they would rather you stay on the phone all night than admit there's a problem that needs a service call. I give Vivint a negative rating. If I weren't heavily invested in the equipment I would dump it.vivint makes up service call fees at random, first$50 dollars to 200 bucks.

Its been good uptil the past few months - I have not had a smoke detector in months. I am on my 3rd one and it still does work. They cannot get it to connect to my panel. Now, I am fixing to move (as we have had death in our family & where we are moving will already have Vivent). Those 2 things have been frustrating for me!

We have been with you for probably 10 years or more and never get an offer for upgraded equipment. I could easily take my business elsewhere and get free equipment, so it blows my mind that a company would not offer the equipment to loyal customers.

They were having some problems when they were switching from that solar company and it got a little confusing and I finally got it straightened out. Sometimes the battery gets stopped and then you don't end up with anything.

Good, it has lots of capability, however, the controller and the separate thermostat do not function together, and the A/C runs when heat is called for. The A/C is now disconnected at the exterior switch.

Love/Hate Meaning sometimes the system is operating properly and sometimes it is not. Example the daily events are not always current. I wish that there was a manual. Customer servcei tech are good.d. not always current when I need to review something.

Only 1 problem...you should have a tech person come once a year to change the batteries as it is extremely difficult for us over 75 to be safe on a ladder. $51 a month should have some perks.

Not good, can't believe my visitor who has no password was able to resolved an alarm issue in my home. When I tried to report it one of your agents argued with me like I don't know what I'm saying, therefore he offered me a $5 reduction of my monthly bill to shut me up. Thinking that's what I'm looking for. I told him it's not about money, my family safety could not be bought with money, regardless of how much he offers. I've never seen anybody that argue with a customer like that especially about safety. That was one of the poorest customer service I've ever encountered.

Vivint had changed systems and we were not notified our unit was no longer working, I was still being charged. I had to call to find out what was happening. Then I was informed I would have to pay for an upgrade. I argued it was not my fault for the upgrade! After a few calls i was able to get upgraded at no cost. The second problem with the up was Ii am now in a 5 year contract!!! My Spouse became disabled and we lost a household check. I asked a cu if I could cancel the service> I was told yes " for $ 1600.00" I didn't realize at that point I have been upgraded to a 5 year contract. The Rep was not that pleasant and really didn't care we really can't afford the service and has NOT USED the service for almost 2 years! I have a very expensive night light! !0stomer service Repb

Absolutely horrible company. Cancellation is non-existen. Customer service only gives you the run-around and never actually helps you with your problem. They don't call the police if the alarm goes off. Instead, they call you and ask you 21 questions before even notifying law enforcement. I pay premiums and have to replace the batteries myself on the fire alarms. If you don't cancel your service at the 5 year mark and not one day later, you're automatically signed up for 5 more years without any opportunity of cancelling. Absolutely trash company. Go with your own camera and sensor setup, or buy local. This company is a joke.

Everything started really well and was great for months. Once I called to stop service, they still kept charging me and kept telling me they stopped my service. I had to call several times and speak to different supervisors and was promised a refund for the time I kept getting charged after I stopped the service due to selling my house. Unfortunately, I took it as a loss and didnt have unlimited time to continue to pursue this issue.

My experience with Vivint is truly a hit or miss. Getting everything installed years ago was fast and flawless. But getting things fixed always took time and it took 6 months for someone to finally fixed the equipment. Could definitely be better.

The panel doesn't work quite right all the time, it seems like the voice after several years got tired, but otherwise they are good. The glass break detector is really sensitive and it is a good value.

50/50my system didn't work for awhile. Every time there was an update I had issues. I wish the system could hold more cameras. I have 4 outside cameras & 1 inside camera. I can't have them all on playback. Have 2 of them turned off, which defeats the purpose of having them, in order for the other cameras to work.

It's been good until you have a problem! Then when you call they want to walk you through all kinds of steps to fix the problem, that's fine if you're young but if you're up in age and a lot of people are alone you can't do it . They need to send a technician out !

Our experience has been below par. We constantly have to reboot our system. Our doorbell with camera doesn't ring a lot when pressed. We've had it replaced once. I honestly don't know if we will continue service when our contract is over.

Since we have been customers, at least one of our equipment has had a problem. Right now it's just the back door sensor showing low battery, but it is constant. I wish someone would call and say "hey, I notice this alarm, do you need help figuring it out?" It's not like we have a manual. That would be nice. I was in a vulnerable state when I signed us up and regret it.
