GoHealth was launched in 2001 with the mission to improve access to health insurance. In 2016, the company entered the Medicare Advantage market and has become a trusted Medicare Advantage marketplace since that time.

When can I enroll in a Medicare Advantage plan?

Most American citizens and permanent residents become eligible and apply for Original Medicare, a federally administered health insurance program, when they turn 65. Once you’ve signed up for both parts of Original Medicare (Medicare Part A and B), you have the option to substitute a Medicare Advantage (Medicare Part C) plan from a private insurance carrier. You can make this change during the Initial Enrollment Period (which includes three months before and after the month of your 65th birthday) or every year during the Annual Enrollment Period from October 15 to December 7.

Chris was most helpful and told me more in a few minutes than 3 Humana reps during previous sessions in December. However, I am still waiting for the paperwork and membership card (5 days). Need to schedule several appointments with referrals in April.

Shena really helped me find the best plan for me where all of my doctors are covered and I get to go back to Humana and get 125.00 for otc benefits a month after I was told that I would only get 50 a month and I couldn’t afford that! Plus I was told that Humana wasn’t taking people in Franklin county from other insurance companies so I was so happy when I got to talk to Shena and she got me approved for Humana again with everything I was looking for!

I am a diabetic and my insulin and other medications increased in cost plus now I no longer pay out funds to insurer. I am on a fixed income so I need all savings that are available. My representative was named Roshin J and she was wonderful. She was very thorough., patient and so helpful in deciding what plan I should choose. It was a very time consuming process but she never lost track of where we were at nor did she ever lose her patience in working with me. I have had two minor strokes and I'm 72 years old so I really appreciate it that she was so patient. I would recommend her to anyone if they had a choice to work with her. Mary Hathcoat was my advisor. She was the best advisor I’ve had since I started Medicare . I reached out a month ago with an agent from somewhere, who was not at all helpful. Mary could teach all she knows. She seemed to be familiar with all the changes for 2025. It was comforting to listen to her walk insurance changes that would benefit me , and put money back into my pockets.

I was set up with an agent that reviewed my current Medicare plan that Medicare had assigned for me. To say the least my plan sucked and got nothing extra or any frills. I am 67 years old ,retired computer , moving business, home improvement business throught the years. The more I would read ,the more confused I would get about Medicare and all that goes along with it. The agent on the line was high caliber in which I wasn't use to. He took care of me from start to finish spouting code numbers ,this and that and what to compare to that. He new everything and got me a unbelievable package deal for the same amount I was spending. Had no dental , now I have 3000.00 a year that I need. The list goes on , 240.00 mo. To help pay on certain items, awesome. They find the best program for you , there not trying to sell there insurance to you ,they sell different Company's Insurance AND get A Commission. All I can say is thank you so much for making my life better and taking care of my needs that no one else cared to do. If you need help and are as confused as I was about all of this call these people now and you can gain a little sanity back in your life and get what you deserve.

Miriam was the representative that I spoke with and she was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. She explained the plan that most met our needs and she answered all questions that I had. She also said she would be our representative going forth, and that we should call her with any questions or concerns that might come up over the coming year. It gives me peace of mind knowing that I will have a familiar voice that knows my story to consult with if needed. The plan she offered was the one that seems to be one that will best suit our health needs. I would recommend this company or at least suggest that if you are still searching for a health plan that you give them a call. You won't be disappointed!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVED the representative that had taken care of my needs. She wasn't pushy or rude , not even a snide comment about anything, no negative attitude, just plain down to earth conversation. Yes!!! Actually, talking to other companies and comparing your customer service and insurance agent's to MANY of other's YOU GUYS ROCK!!!!!! I wasn't hung up on not even once, she Christine was an ANGEL..... FACTS !!! She new everything she was talking about and made sure you are comfortable with everything she was suggesting for plans and policies. Never once did she have a attitude or acted like she was waiting for time to go by so she could start her weekend, I am SO impressed by your company, and I believe that ALL of your customer service and insurance agent's are wonderful just like Christine was to me, I feel like I made a new friend in the process. So if ANYONE was to ask me where to go for insurance agent's and a reputable company I would HANDS DOWN recommend you're company real FACTS!!!! I have never enjoyed having to go through the process of changing insurance companies and it always took forever to get through the whole process, I didn't even notice how long we had talked about the different types of plans because we totally enjoyed our conversation about many things, about life,and if my agent realizes it or not she actually helped me without even knowing it .
