They respond quickly and are very communicative which I like. I don't think they are the best negotiator. I think that americor needs to get a little more familiar with the debtors perspective. I need them to negotiate for more because they're only going to save me a few hundred dollars at the end of the day.

I think the customer service representatives are outstanding. But when I enrolled, they weren't completely forthcoming about how the whole process works. I think they left some things out of the conversation about how you build up your bank account.

Because I was keeping in contact about the accounts I have that would not allow me to continue with my account. So I had to have it closed and I have to wait until 30 days to reapply so that I don't have to pay over $500 in "missed" payments

Think long and hard before you make any decisions. They are kind and courteous to me but some things are kind of frustrating to me like I've already made a payment to Americor but nothing's been taken care of on the other end.

From what I've read it works, so just try it if you're in debt. The person I work with really explained everything in detail to me compared to another company I was looking at that I was going to go with and she explained what this other company never explain to me.

I was not aware that we would face actual legal action. We were served papers and went to court numerous times and the judge did not care that we were in a debt resolution program. My credit is the same and I'm done with the program. I would have rather figured out my debt on my own if i knew I'd have legal court cases on my record now. Not worth what they claim to fix.
