This company is THE WORST. They were in no way upfront about the enormous fees associated with consolidating debt. 25% of the enrolled debt is CRAZY, especially when they can't even guarantee that they'll save you 50% (in my case it was about 42%). Plus, they charge a monthly fee. Also, your credit score will go in the toilet - not for the 6 months they told me, but for the duration of the payback, which in my case was 4 YEARS! DO NOT USE BEYOND FINANCE!

RUN….This company is definitely out for their own profit! I enrolled over 18 months and only 3 small accounts have been paid and that’s with me calling and giving them more money. I really wished I would have just settled on my own and that exactly what I did. This being after I paid them over 4,000 dollars in fees! This place is legal fraud. Also, if you receive any judgements against you they don’t let you know because you sign over the right for beyond finance to get all the letters! Awful system and worst regret! Do it yourself you will save yourself headache, credit and money. You might even save your credit.

Beyond Finance is extremely slow with settling out accounts. I think their negotiation team needs help . When I first signed up for the program, they failed to tell me they did not check all three credit reports as I was told this over the phone with the customer service rep. They only check one. One of my accounts was missed now I have to go to court for this one because they won’t handle the account because it was missed and when they missed something, they blame it on you! After all you go to them for the help and the assistance are supposed to be good so I was told. I’ve had to go to court three times already. My experience definitely has not been great and I don’t wanna take responsibility for what they know they did.. I also had to go to court and negotiate one of my own accounts and they took like $1800 out of my account for their fees for something they didn’t do. This has been my experience.

This company is horrible. I joined their program over a year ago to try to get out of debt. My credit score was falling because my credit was maxed out. My payment history was perfect. I had never missed a payment with my creditors. The interest rates we killing me. After joining the program, I was instructed to stop all payments to my creditors. I agreed with much hesitation. After a year and over $5000 in payments into this program, only 5 of 7 accounts were considered working in the program. 1 account was paid off, the other 4 of the 5 were set up on payment plans. The remaining 2 accts were unresolved. 2 wks ago, I was served court paperwork. I am now being sued by the 2 unresolved creditors. They offered a payment plan but want it paid in a time frame I now cannot budget. Of over $5k in payments, less than $1k has been paid out to creditors. BF has used the remaining money for their fees. Because of their failure to handle my accounts properly and extremely misleading program, I now feel bankruptcy is my only recourse. This company is predatory and in my opinion should be shut down. With all of the money paid to them for their fees, nothing has been resolved and I am in a far worse position financially. I could have used that money to make my own restructure plan with my creditors. DO NOT USE BEYOND FINANCE!

Our experience with Beyond was the worst mistake we ever made! They tell you they’ll cut your debt in half, but that’s not the full truth. Yes, they may negotiate to settle your debt for less than what you owe, but they also charge you thousands of dollars in fees for that negotiation. As a result, we’re now unable to get any loans or new credit cards. Our credit scores have been severely damaged and marked with delinquencies, and there’s nothing we can do about it. These negative marks will remain on our credit reports for seven years. This was truly the worst financial decision we’ve ever made. Please don’t fall for this trap. If you’re struggling with debt, you’d be better off getting a loan to consolidate your debt into one payment than working with a company that takes your money and ruins your financial life.

Beyond Finance marketed their program as a path toward financial stability, but my experience was the opposite. They initially showed a loan option on my dashboard, then removed it without warning. Their fees were higher than disclosed, and after faithfully participating for two years, my credit score is now below 600 — nearly 50 points lower due to how they reported a final settlement. Customer support added to the stress. Each agent I spoke with gave different and often contradictory information. Emails dragged on without resolution, leaving me to chase answers myself. The service was costly, confusing, and damaging to my credit profile. I strongly urge others to look at alternative companies that actually provide structured loan options or real credit improvement.

While it's true that credit score typically sees a drop during the program, the vast majority of our clients report a completely recovered FICO score by the time they graduate from their program. This is because 30% of your credit score is based on “Amounts Owed,” so each time you settle an account, that debt is removed as an active line of credit. Also, “Missed payments,” the reason your score will have seen that drop in the first place, carry less and less weight on your credit score over time, and eventually disappear completely.

It can definitely feel uncomfortable to see a ding to your perfect record, but ultimately, this doesn't reflect on you as a person. And the good news is that with good financial habits, you should see that recovery in the end. Our graduated clients say that saying goodbye to their debt is 100% worth a temporary impact to their credit report.
