Stay away from Beyond for your own good. You will make endless deposits into their account until they finally negotiate a debt of yours, during this process they will advise you to stop paying the debts you were paying and in the process your credit score was destroyed. When they finally negotiate a debt of yours, suppose it is $10,300 and they get a discount of $4,600, do not be happy because this is not the final discount achieved, because Beyond will charge you a 25% commission on top of the total amount of your debt plus fees, so this amount they claim you got as a discount is mere manipulation, because in fact you were paying abusive interest from the bank and you start paying in addition to the interest and having your credit ruined fees, you start paying absurd biweekly fees to Beyond on each deposit made into the consolidated savings account and there is a surprise in your negotiation, the money that was there in your “savings” to pay your debts is all debited at once to cover the “25%” commission. You who previously only diverted money from the bank, are now also stuck in Beyond, which, under sweet talk and false promises, is dragging you into a bottomless pit of payments. There are better ways, negotiate directly with your creditor and avoid promises that are too wonderful.

I would not recommend I started with Beyond about a little over a year ago. At the time I had 5 different debt areas totaling around $25,000. There were 2 large accounts with the majority of the debt, 3 others that had a total of about $3,000. They told me that the deal was I would pay $159 every 2 weeks for 4 years and it would be cleared. At the time of the consultation, I specifically asked about a few things: 1) my credit score was around 720 at the time, how much would this affect it and for how long? 2) Is that going to be enough of a monthly payment? Should I increase to cover the costs so its faster for the negotiations? 3) should I just not include the smaller accounts and pay those off? They told me with great confidence that: - I should absolutely keep every debt account on here. There is absolutely no reason to do hold anything back. - That increasing my payment wouldn't help because it only takes more money out of my pocket monthly and doing this payment plan would work great. -That I shouldn't even need to contact them as long as I stayed on my payment course. - That your credit score WILL take a small short term hit, but all of their customers report back that they see it go "higher than it was before" within a year. Now if we fast forward 20 months later. My credit score is 520, i can't rent a home. This happened because there were SO many delinquent payments from the first 3 smaller accounts that is sent my score down and is not climbing. Then I got a call that the bank is taking legal action and I need to come up with 10,000 in 3 months. OR I can just increase my bi-weekly payment from 159 to 659 dollars ($1400 per month) They mislead me on everything they said. I am sure that if you have a single credit line with a certain amount of debt, this company can help you get a lower rate. If you actually need a debt solution that doesn't involve years of Credit issues and the banks still coming after you in court, I would not go with them. P.S. this exact same thing happened to my fiance and now our household is under larger payments than we had before the program.

Absolutely terrible experience and borderline fraudulent. I was told to steop contact with all collection agencies for months as Beyond Finance would then start to go to work on my debt resolution. I started to notice barely any progress that they were making with my numerous debts. Then they started reaching out to me stating that they could not move forward without extended documentation and notarized letters despite going through a two and a half hour onboarding call, uploading all of my documentation. Now, they are demanding that I contact all of these businesses that they originally told me to ignore, with the impossible task of asking them to give me extended documentation when I am now beyond delinquent with the accounts. Customer service stopped responding and I was unable to get adequate help and have had my concerns dismissed. This company is fraudulent with their approach and promises to customers. Don't be fooled by them when they settle one or two very outdated and easy to resolve accounts. They will continue to take large chunks of money out of your bank and account and all progress on your debt resolution will slow to a crawl/stop. They have had 2K of my money for my "enrolled debt" that they are supposed to apply to debt resolutions which has been sitting in their pockets for almost a year now and they have still been trying to withdraw money out of my bank account on a bi-weekly basis.

THEY DO NOT DISCLOSE THAT. They make it sounds like it is over time till your loan is paid off. NOT TRUE. THEY WILL GET THEIR MONEY FIRST. IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MUCH YOU MAKE, IF YOU HAVE A LIFE EVENT DURING THE TIME OF YOUR SETTLEMENT PAYOFF - NOT THEIR PROBLEM, THEY WILL BE SURE THEY GET THEIR MONEY FIRST AND YOU HAVE NO SAY BECAUSE THEY TAKE IT FROM YOUR ACCOUNT. IF YOU PAID OFF 15% OF YOUR LOAN SETTLEMENT, IT DOES NOT MATTER THEY WILL TAKE 100% OF THEIR 25% OF THE GROSS AMOUNT YOU OWED. They took $2,400 out of the "savings" account they were collecting for me right after my resolution acceptance and put that ALL towards them and NONE of the loan or settlement. That's wasn't even the full amount of the fee, I ended up discovering LATER ON after a complaint call that they were still taking fees out of the payments, and IT DOES NOT SHOW ON THE APP. I told them I didn't want to be a part of this and wanted to cancel, (they say you can cancel at anytime) their response was THEY WOULD KEEP ALL OF MY FEES and then I would be opted out of the settlement agreement with the lender. Even a mortgage lender provides an amortization schedule... If they don't make this right, pay me my money back for non-disclosure of schedule of resolution fees for acceptance, I will be forced to press charges against this company for me, and everyone else, for doing a non-disclosure of Resolution Fee Schedule before a resolution acceptance.

This company only cares about their bottom line. I have yet to see any 5-star reviews that were written by anyone who has been in the Beyond Finance program for more than a year and is still pleased with their decision to go with this company. Most end up sued by at least one creditor and Beyond Finance calls to demand more money immediately; that's their fix to your debt. I'm sure we all signed up because we could afford to drop a few grand into an account instantly, right?!? When you explain you aren't in a position to pay up, they inform you that your creditor will be able to move forward with further legal action. My last negotiated deal went as far as a court summons before I took matters into my own hands to seek a personal loan from family. Now I assumed more debt to resolve debt that they should have dealt with sooner. They tell you they contact creditors, but they obviously aren't or there would be more potential agreements hitting my inbox on a regular basis. When you tell them your concerns they just use their same 3 teleprompts to address your concern. Do yourself a favor, find a different company because this one is a legal scam.

Do yourself a favor and work out the debts yourself or hire an actual attorney. It would save you a lot a money and aggravation. This company is only good for people who really don’t want to deal with their debts and don’t mind sending money hand over fist to get it taken care of. I started with the program July 2023 because they promised that they will get everything taken care of and sent me something showing how they can negotiate my debt down to almost half. In this year I have been in court almost every other month. When I try to call to get some direction or what’s going on I get no real answer. I even had one of their reps argue with me because I didn’t want to sign a settlement agreement that grants the debtor a judgement upfront. His explanation was that most of these agreements require a judgement upfront, which I know they don’t require that and also why would I sign something that would leave a negative mark for years after the debt is paid off. Recently it became clear why they are so pushy to get me to sign these settlements even if they are not beneficial to you and it’s because they charge you a fee of 25% of the settled for amount. So let’s talk math for a second…with their fee schedule if you have a debt that is $2700 and they get a settlement agreement for $2300 they’re going to send you this big ole email saying that they saved you $400 on a settlement (congrats YAYY ME!!!) but they fail to put in that email that they are going to charge you a fee of $575. So not only are you still paying the $2700 but also an additional $175, for them doing something I could’ve probably negotiated better myself. When I finally discovered all of this it started with Beyond calling to tell me that I had a settlement offer and they needed for me to make an additional deposit of almost $1300. I was put under the impression that this was to pay it in full. I didn’t have the money right off hand, but I managed to get it together and send it. A couple of months go by and there’s no additional closed accounts, but the money is gone. I called Beyond and explained the situation and they told me that the money was used to pay their $798 fee for a settlement they completed. Even after explaining that I was told that this was for a settlement not a fee all they would say is that it’s in the contract. I know the contract and it states that fees will be paid in small increments that fit within my monthly payment. So after speaking to the rude reps and even more rude supervisor Beyond has basically admitted to thinking it’s ok to call people, who are struggling already, for additional deposits under the guise of account settlement but are really using it to pay their fee…all while I’m being dragged in and out of court for accounts they claim to have been working on for over a year. And BIG SURPRISE they won’t correct it, even though they admitted to having recordings of the call where I was told it was to settle an account and I have copies of the transactions show they used the money for their fee and not to settle an account. Do yourself a favor, pull your head out of the sand and handle it yourself. Don’t waste time and money like I did. They take advantage of people.

***DO NOT USE BEYOND FINANCE*** This company is incredibly deceptive! I started with a phone call to them because I read the great reviews online and I needed help with my debts. I had $26k in debts that I owed. Beyond Finance made it sound like a miracle that they could reduce my debts by about HALF, which is semi-true.... But you end up paying WAY more because of their fees, which they try to confuse you about and pressure you to sign the agreement as soon as possible so you can have less stress.. I paid almost $5k into my dedicated savings account during the first year and only $1300 of my debts were paid. Where did the rest of the money go??... FEES from Beyond Finance!! They take 25% of your ORIGINAL debt amount PLUS add an annual fee of 6.25%! (My agreement was over 5 years, so 6.25% of $26k x 5 years! You end up basically paying the same amount you would have to your creditors (or maybe even more) PLUS they only paid off ONE of my creditors accounts at $600 during that entire first year! So my credit went from a 750-780 all the way down to 400 PLUS added late fees, which increased my balances. This company makes you feel like they are doing such a good thing for you, when really they are pocketing your funds over and over for exorbitant fee amounts and you basically have nothing left unless you keep making the monthly payments and just hope that it will go to a creditor and not BF's pockets. I am sick to my stomach that I was taken for granted as a single mother who was recently diagnosed with M.S. after taking the Covid vaccine and being unable to work temporarily put me in a difficult financial position. Do NOT sign up with Beyond Finance!! You WILL regret it! They claim that their agreements are transparent, but they absolutely deceived me and so many others... Do your research and look them up under "Beyond Finance complaints" and you will find many people who have suffered HUGE losses financially, credit-wise and end up in a much worse position. Please be aware of these scams.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. PLEASE READ FULL REVIEW. This company promised to cut my debt payments in half, from around $1360 to $750. It did just that, for the first 9 months. While this process was underway it destroyed my credit. This was mentioned up front, so I'll give them that. But they only pay your debt to the creditors in order from which they settle. The first company that excepted negotiations gets the payments I make. Another company wanted their money at the same time and was going to take me to court. Their solution (Beyond Finance) was to DOUBLE my monthly payments. So the agreed $750 jumped to $1500, they also wanted to start immediately. So I'm now paying $140 more than I was and my credit score went from almost 775 to 500. I couldn't make the immediate increase so they pushed it back a month. So I have to pay $2250 in one month. I'm now working 7 days a week. This seems perfectly fine to them since we agreed to a term of 5 years for payments, now it's 3.5 years since I'm paying double. Does that sound like a good deal? Could you afford that drastic change? I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

I am disgusted by this company. I called and spoke to a representative in April 2023, simply looking to consolidate cards that I had used for a business start up. I wasn't even looking to negotiate the debt, I just wanted to simplify my payments. The representative made this program seem wonderful, and they'd be able to negotiate the balances on my cards. I was told the negotiations usually take 3-6 months before an agreement is reached and regular payments begin. It's now April of 2024, and I still have one account that has yet to be resolved. I was told there would be a temporary drop in my credit score while they negotiated my debt, but not to worry!! It'll go right back up once payments begin. My score was mid 700s. I now have a score of 531. Any time i contact the company they have nothing to say other than some companies take longer to negotiate and there's nothing they can do. I was lied to in order to enroll me in this program.

This company is a rip off. They settled 2 accounts I paid $900 and the 3rd account took me to court they didn’t even try to negotiate with them I settled with that company out of court with a payment agreement. Then when I said this wasn’t helping me and I wanted to close my account they KEPT MY $300 I had in my dedicated account saved. Hmmm just seems like they’re just as bad as all those companies they talk down on about high interest you do the math they took $300 on $900 settlements that’s 33% they are nothing but crooks and are just as bad as high interest creditors they talk down on. Would NEVER RECOMMEND anyone to this company not even my worse enemy.

Please stay away. As a business owner myself, I tend to not give out negative reviews as I know how harmful they can be but if I can keep even one person from enrolling it will be well worth it. In December 2022 when I signed up, I wasn’t struggling with credit card debt, I simply wanted a consolidation loan to combine my several credit card payments into just one payment a month. I Googled “credit card consolidation loan” and Beyond was one of the first to pop up. I called inquiring about rates and terms. The woman I spoke with talked about how they’re a great option to escape debt and lower my monthly payments. Stupidly on my part I went ahead, it was then I was told that I’d take a “slight temporary hit” on my credit score, but nothing to worry because everything will be wrapped up “shortly” and I can move on from my debt. What an awful choice on my part. They tell you to stop making your credit card payments, and that you’ll soon be “contacted” by the credit companies and to “ignore them”. Well they hound you. Multiple times a day. They will contact your family looking to get a hold of you. Endless letters sent by US Mail and FedEx. And more and more phone calls to you and sometimes your family members. That “slight” and “temporary” hit to your credit score? Mine went from a 710 in December 2022 to where it sits in high 500’s in December 2023. So either I was lied to about “slight” or the definition of the word has changed at some point and I wasn’t notified. I had planned around this time to move, that can’t happen now because no way I’m getting any decent mortgage with a credit score in the 500’s. The true cherry on the top of this program, is that in July 2023 I was sent an email from Beyond saying something along the lines of “congratulations you will soon qualify for the Graduation Loan Program”. Basically saying I’ve done everything I’ve needed to and that soon I’ll be getting a code from Above Lending with an invitation to a credit consolidation loan. Hallelujah I thought, the exact thing I was looking for in the first place. I call Beyond to ask for more information and they say that you need to be in the program for 9 months and have 6 consecutive months of on time payments. Perfect, I never miss any payments, and within a few weeks I’ll have been in the program 9 months. It hits 9 months of me in the program, I call and ask about the loan, the person I speak with said I’ve met all of the requirements and I’ll likely be reached out to shortly. This was September, I call both Above Lending and Beyond once every 2-3 weeks for an update, and I keep getting the answer of “soon” and now in mid-December 2023, I’m still getting told “soon”. Meanwhile I was legally served with a lawsuit from one of my credit card companies and likely on the verge of another one. I’m living in constant anxiety that another server will be showing up at my door with more legal papers and another lawsuit. By the way, they never tell you about this until it actually happens. So let me tell you, avoid this program unless you actually like being served and having a lawsuit against you from a major corporation. I’ve spent several nights with tears in my eyes because of what this program has done to me financially, and how I can’t move to a new house which was something I had been planning and preparing for for years. I’m 33 years old and have never been a day late on a payment for anything let along straight up skipping payments. I’ve called both Beyond and Above Lending basically begging and pleading to get me that Graduation Loan, and no progress has been made. I’m under the belief at this point that it won’t ever happen, and that “slight” and “temporary” hit to my credit score is more like “crippling” and “long term”. Signing up for Beyond’s program may be the worst mistake I have made in my life, and unless you are in dire straights with your debt, please, please do not make the same mistake as me. I’m at the point where if I don’t have that Graduation loan by the end of January 2024, I’m pulling myself out.

When signing up for our program, we never promise our clients that they will qualify for the Above Lending Graduation Loan in 6 months. We use 6 months as a marker to determine loan eligibility. This loan is offered on a case by case basis. We understand how frustrating it would be to be hoping for the loan and not understand why an offer hasn't arrived yet. What's challenging is that Above Lending is a separate company with its own criteria, so while we can provide info about pre-qualification for the loan, we don't have access to further details about the application than what we've already shared.

We’re sorry to hear that your creditor has chosen to file a lawsuit. While not every creditor takes this approach, some creditors are unfortunately more aggressive in their debt collection methods than others. The good news is we will still support you on your journey to financial freedom.

As stated during the enrollment process and in the enrollment agreement, participating in our debt consolidation program will likely adversely impact your credit for a time. While you may temporarily take one step back in terms of your creditworthiness, you’ll take five steps forward with debt solutions. Once your debt is consolidated, the effect on your credit can actually be very positive. Practicing positive credit behavior can help you build your creditworthiness back up over time.
