I use it to shop for clothes, groceries, etc. It's a great card to use for travel and booking hotels, and flights. I love the reward points! The customer service is available 24/7 and always fantastic service very friendly.

American Express has been great to work with. I chose them because of their cash back benefits. I just furnished a rental property and ran all my purchases through my Amex card. The rewards paid for a huge chunk of Christmas. Awesome!

My favorite card to use for it’s rewards. I have taken three separate trips that I wouldn’t have without my Amex rewards! Highly recommend. They are also great with refunds and other customer services. I once was a few days late on a payment on accident, and because of my good record, they easily waived the late fee.

I love American Express. The several benefits that you have access to with this credit card are worthwhile. One of the best benefits I really enjoy is the Uber usage and discounts. With Amex, I get free Uber Cash very frequently including discounts off several rides.

I love the rewards they offer on the cards. You can go and add them to your card and they automatically apply to any purchase that matches the criteria. I spent $50 at a local hardware store, and because I had an offer on my card, Amex automatically credited me $10.

When I signed up for my Amex through a Delta promotion they offered my 40,000 flight rewards which was awesome! The points along with additional ones helped me to book a flight. I have had a good experience with my card. My only concern is that it isn't accepted everywhere, which can be a problem if I don't have cash.

I’m glad I have an American Express card. Our local grocery store recently stopped taking Visa but they do take American Express. It’s good to have another type of card when retailers do not accept all types. American Express also offers great incentives and gift cards when you use their credit card.

I was just deciding what credit card I was going to get from American Express and both options are great. Either the delta flight perks or the Marriott perks. We decided to go with the flight one because if you spend a certain amount of money in 3 months you get 2 plane tickets. There is an annual fee of $95.

The reward points for using American Express are amazing! The one downfall is that it is not accepted everywhere, so I sometimes have to pull out my visa! But if you're willing to do that at times, it's totally one worth having because i comes with great perks!

We’ve used American Express for the past 18 years. They have great rewards and their interest rate is competitive. They’ve monitored transactions on our card for fraud and have contacted us whenever they suspected fraud or suspicious transactions. Their customer service is excellent.

American Express has done a very good job at making it so more companies except their card. Early on not a lot of places excepted American Express because of the higher rates that American Express cost to use. I think Cosco made that different when they carried their cards as an exclusive. We find that now they don’t have the green with Costco that we have switch back to visa and don’t use our American Express cards. Never any complaints

I used to have a personal credit card with them, I now have a business card with them. They are great to work with and have no complaints. They will call if they feel like your card is being used fraudulently. They take high priority in fraud like transactions.

We have been AMEX customers for many years. I appreciate their customer service. I especially like the year end reports that I use for tax prep. I love the categories that are available. We have unfortunately had a couple of issues with fraud but we have never been disappointed! AMEX has been quick to notify us and the resolutions have been exactly what we needed.

I love my AMEX card. Even the annual fee is worth it, considering the benefits, savings, rewards, etc. Using this card really gives me peace of mind as I travel and use it for big purchases. I have now even used them for a personal loan, which was very simple. Their customer service has been outstanding throughout the years.

We have always loved our American Express card that gives us Delta Skymiles. We have had our card now for 15 years. We get a free companion fare ticket each year. We usually use this on our yearly cruise. The only bummer is when Costco stopped accepting this card. We love the miles.

I had a Costco AmEx for many years and I loved their cash back rewards program! They were very on top of monitoring my account and alerting me about potential fraud and verifying questionable purchase, some of which did turn out to be fraudulent. They always took care of the issue and replaced my card quickly with little disruption to my life. The only reason I have a 4 star review is because AmEx is not accepted everywhere that Visa and Mastercard are.

I have the american express travel and it's fantastic. I love the amextravel platform for finding flights as well. The benefits are great and customer service fantasic. Also have been willing to help out on extended warranty issues as well. It is my main credit card for a reason. I also enjoy the centurion lounge access at airports.

They are terribly unresponsive and difficult to reach. No email. No complaint form. Agents' English is difficult, if not impossible to understand.Worst customer service I ever see in US, they don't give me what they offer, and said am not eligible without any proof and reason the customer is really bad

After being an AMEX customer for over 30 years when my checking account was HACKED & my bank did not notify me by an immediate way, only by a letter which took over 2 weeks - AMEX's payment was bounced back - Amex then immediately CANCELED my cards and would not reinstate them even after I had a notarized letter from my bank saying it was NO FAULT of my own that my account was hacked & my payment bounced! Disgusting way to treat a 30+ year customer - plus their yearly fees are crazy high anyway

American Express / Amex Travel - The Worst Experience In March, I book a trip for my family going to Greece in June 2023 using my American Express through Amex Travel. This was my first time booking through Amex travel and it will be my last…… My brother suddenly passed and had I to cancel our family vacation trip. Now I am making funeral arrangements and booking flight to Trinidad because that where he lived. I spent four hours with a representative from Amex explaining my situation in order to get a refund for our vacation trip. Once we were done the representative assured me that a refund from the airline and hotel was not a problem once I sent their team (Amex Travel Refunds) my brother death certificate and proof of relationship. Which I complied and sent all the necessary documents. It has been three months and I am still waiting on my refund. After sending an email for a status update, I received an email stating that my refund has been delayed beyond the previously communicated timeframe and if there are any additional delays, they will keep me informed. I highly recommend you stay away from both American Express and Amex Travel. This is just unbelievable that it’s taking this long to get a refund and that I am still paying both cost and interest on a trip that I never went on that I cancelled in ample time.

They lowered my credit limit in the middle of transactions that caused me over the limit fees. When I called customer service to get to the bottom of it, I could not understand the representative (they were from a foreign country) so I asked for somebody else that I could understand and they replied that i could not speak to somebody else. Not very happy at all with Amex customer service. I expect much better from a large well-known company.

I have had this card since 2014 it was an amazing card ! Well just recently i had money for concert tickets coming back to my account. The amount was deposited into my account 2 days later they withdrew the money to hold it. To verify that it was a real. Even with proof from ticketmaster. Now this wouldnt be a big deal if they didn't keep lying to me about it or i guess not telling me 100% of the truth. Some people are saying we haven't gotten the money from them but the "managers" have said that they had. No one apparently can tell me what's going on other than i have to wait 7 days from the 27th even though it was deposited on the 25th. They state its in the terms and conditions but never in there does it state they have the right to remove the fund from the account to hold it 2 days after the fact. Beyond irritated and after I return home i will be probably closing my account with them based off of horrible customer service which okay with yelling at you and hanging up on you. Even if you swear at them and try to politely handle this!!! Beyond horrible!!!!

I have always love my Amex card however I may pay it off and close it, they will randomly go in and lower your credit without warning. I have always paid on time and quite a few times paid it off, then run it up again just to pay it off. They recently took me from a 20k credit to 8k. They say they do it if you your credit score goes down because of other balances. If I have never defaulted or been late, I would understand it. When credit card companies do that to you it impacts your credit score because it appears to high usage.
