I've carried Amex cards for more than 40 years. Our current gold card is our "go-to" card for daily use. It earns points and we use them for our vacations. It is very good. Amex is accepted almost everywhere we've been including Mexico and Europe. I have had a few hiccups with Amex customer service. Always resolved satisfactorily in the end. Amex uses an India-based calling center and those folks don't always have the ability to fix issues. Overall Amex is a great card around the world and I will always have one in my wallet.

The two best things I like about AMEX are customer service when I need to discuss my bill or a charge - they are quick to answer, know the process and procedures, and are kind and the other is the fact the items I purchased are under a warranty so if I was sent something that was broken or that I need to return the cover it for me!

I have multiple AMEX cards and I enjoy the benefits that come with the card membership. Their staff is often very pleasant but can be extremely frustrating due to misinformation and misinterpretation due to lack of knowledge or proper training. However, the company does put their members first.

I love working AMEX. Their customer service options are great and very flexible. You can chat with a representative in the app once signed in or call and speak with some directly. The wait time is never very long. Representatives are very knowledgeable and professional. And I love that they offer travel rewards!

Although I dislike the annual fee I appreciate the customer service and ease of use for the website. I have had this card for years and have had zero issues that were not resolved and even a late fee waived when my wife gave birth and I forgot to schedule a payment.

I have used the American Express platinum card for years now and always. Satisfied. Travel concierge service I don't use frequently but when I have used it it was excellent. I had to use it this year on degrees. Always resolve problems quickly and to notify me for fraudulent activity if suspected.

I have been very happy with my Amex cards. They are accepted just about anywhere now and they have very good customer service. Interest rates are very high compared to the past so don't use it unless you can pay it off each month.

I used American Express a lot. Never had a problem. I have to admit that customer service was much better when it was located in the US. Now I try to use only online, or in a chat, to avoid speaking directly to a customer representative.

We have an American Express rewards card. We are able to earn points through purchases made. Gas purchases earn double points. We are able to use these points for hotel rentals and much more and don't have to spend a penny out of my pocket. We have had to cancel our reservations a few times and have never had a problem getting our points back for that. I highly recommend the American Express rewards card.

I don't use my card very often, but I can say for sure that I have not had any issues with this company or using my card. Amex is accepted pretty much everywhere, as far as I know, and with fraud and id theft on the rise, they have security measures in place to protect the customers as much as possible.

The reason I have stayed with American Express for so many years is that I believe there fraud detection is second to none. And, the very few times I've had to dispute, they've always been there for me. I won't use anything else but American Express because I know but I'm about as safe as I can be with their credit card.

American Express has always been a good card but my only complaint is they must have high fees, because some businesses will not take it. I love that I can put my daughter on my account and set a spending limit. This helps with college expenses and maintaining a budget

Yes they charge a fee but if you use the card correctly you get a wealth of benefits. Just make sure you read all the print to see what they are. Airport lounges, car hire upgrades, car hire insurance. I had to call the call centre and the rep was very helpful. So yes - there is a fee but you get what you pay for - a great service and a card that can be used in almost all places.

I’ve been happy with my American Express card. I currently have a platinum card. I will say that their offers necessarily always work. I’ve also had an issue where an agent promised me $100 refund because of that very issue. Then in subsequent calls, the other agent complete disregards the prior content. Why are they promised me they record their calls, they wouldn’t work with me and listening to the car with me as proof. That’s the reason I wouldn’t give a full rating to this company - though – other than that-I’ve been happy.

I find the customer service great and have honestly shelved most other cards and solely use my Amex. Ease of use and great rewards ( it has literally saved me a lot of money on the cash back pgm and so is definitely very customer user oriented). Not really much else to say.

I have been using AMEX for many years and am very satisfied. I have used the points for various items including gift cards and travel. I worked for a company that used AMEX Corporate and that was a great experience. The customer service was phenomenal when I lost my card at the airport.

American Express provides the best all around service in the credit card industry. Their Plan It option is a great deal. And the ability for me to dispute merchant charges online is seamless, unlike other card services which require a phone call or letter. I only wish I could merge my two different Amex cards into the same online system.

I had an Am Ex many years back and from what I can tell they have not changed much. They have great customer service (which is saying a-lot for a CC company), good rates on insurance (although that may have changed due to the times) and flexible for the most part with the payments.

After initially building my credit, I got an American Express card. I love my card because they have such good rewards for using your credit card and have no yearly costs. I've only had to get in contact with their customer service once, due to a fraudulent charge, but they worked quickly to resolve my issue. Great company.

Amex has always been a great card with great benefits. My only complaint is they lost their deal with Costco. I don't know who is responsible for that but if you're reading this Amex please go to Costco and beg for mercy -- you deserve better -- you're not supposed to be like the other Credit Cards.

I have been an American Express card user for over 20 years! I love the Delta flight card which earns you points and the benefit of one free bag with the purchase of a delta ticket for up to six people in your flight party. If I ever have a fraudulent charge they are quick to resolve and refund.

I was given an American Express serve card as a promotion with T-Mobile I had $200 credit on it and I’ve had the card for more than 10 years now. It was my first “reloadable credit card” and I still have and use it today! Great service and never charge me any fees.

I was approved very quickly and received a nice discount for the purchased I made that day. I have not had any problems with my card, or the service provided, since I opened my account.

I have a personal card and corporate card. I find it very easy to do business with American Express especially when calling their customer service line. The only thing I didn't like was that they changed the format of the Account page but there is a button you can click to go back to the old version. I like the older version better.

My favorite card to use for it’s rewards. I have taken three separate trips that I wouldn’t have without my Amex rewards! Highly recommend. They are also great with refunds and other customer services. I once was a few days late on a payment on accident, and because of my good record, they easily waived the late fee.

I love the rewards they offer on the cards. You can go and add them to your card and they automatically apply to any purchase that matches the criteria. I spent $50 at a local hardware store, and because I had an offer on my card, Amex automatically credited me $10.

When I signed up for my Amex through a Delta promotion they offered my 40,000 flight rewards which was awesome! The points along with additional ones helped me to book a flight. I have had a good experience with my card. My only concern is that it isn't accepted everywhere, which can be a problem if I don't have cash.

I’m glad I have an American Express card. Our local grocery store recently stopped taking Visa but they do take American Express. It’s good to have another type of card when retailers do not accept all types. American Express also offers great incentives and gift cards when you use their credit card.

I was just deciding what credit card I was going to get from American Express and both options are great. Either the delta flight perks or the Marriott perks. We decided to go with the flight one because if you spend a certain amount of money in 3 months you get 2 plane tickets. There is an annual fee of $95.

The reward points for using American Express are amazing! The one downfall is that it is not accepted everywhere, so I sometimes have to pull out my visa! But if you're willing to do that at times, it's totally one worth having because i comes with great perks!
