Great service - I almost always had reception when I used Verizon. They do charge more than other carriers for international data and such which is why I switched, but overall I was pleased with them.

My wife had Verizon for a number of years, and we have had a lot of issues with the prices of her bill going up quite randomly. They have great quality service and reception, but the prices are definitely way higher than those of their competitors. We ultimately decided it wasn't worth it and had to change to a different carrier. I would advise anyone considering Verizon to be cautious of the pricing.

Subscribed Verizon home internet service. They sent me a most irresponsible and incompetent technician to install new service. Upon his arrival, he simply hook up the equipment and left. Called him back informing him of No connection service, he replied that his job was hooking up the router from ONT, I could have done this myself. Then he informed me that if I wanted the internet connection service, I must call their customer service, What A Joke!. Spent over an hour with their tech support troubleshooting team, still couldn’t connect.

Genuinely the worst people and customer service. You can’t ever get a person on the line when you have a problem, and when you do they never actually fix it the first time. It takes 3-4 calls on average to fix anything and it’s all errors on their side. It’s expensive, terrible customer service, and nothing EVER works. Worst phone company available.

Their prices aren't what they say they are. I had 3 months nightmare for me and then my parents had the same issues. They took days to switch the phone lines over. Had fraudulent charges. Constantly messed up our bills Discounts never stayed on. The worst and most incompetent company ever. Verizon wireless and wifi are two separate companies that don't talk even though they promote a bundle deal.

A tech named Dane was just here in Washington, PA to do an install for fios. He was completely rude the entire time here. I left him outside by himself for being jerk and didn't want him in my home. He should not be working with the public. Also, I didn't appreciate his profanity when he said the person on the phone who told us the wrong info on istall was full of s*** and continues to talk bad about how unintelligent and untrainable and a waste of time training said Verizon costumer service employees were. His word toward me and other Verison employees was uncalled for.

Stay away from this company! They over charge! When I Cancelled - I still paid my bill to stay up to date. 3-16-23 I received an invoice that showed i was positive $165.68 4-26-23 I Called for 45 minutes they say I would receive a refund 5-8 to 5-10 nothing! Called again 5-19-23 ( 45 minutes) I will receive refund 5-7 weeks This company makes Millions of dollars by over billing and not doing what is right by their customers. STAY AWAY!! There are a bunch of other options out there for you phone service providers, DO NOT GET SUCKED IN BY THE PROMISE OF SUPERIOR SERVICE!!

Traded in a phone and the UPS store clerk said to keep the tracking slip because Verizon often tries to say they never received it. Two weeks after I sent the phone back they said they didn't get it. I spent twenty minutes on the phone with the rep and she confirmed that they had received it. A few weeks later I got an email saying they hadn't received the trade in phone. Spent 50 minutes on the phone this time while they checked to see if they had received the phone. If I hadn't kept the the UPS tracking slip they would have ripped me off.

I cancelled my internet within 1 hour of ordering it. I never received a cancellation notice but luckily the box never came. The deal was 1 month free and after that $25 a month for 2 years. Now 3 weeks a get a bill for $60, can you believe that? I finally got a human on the phone after 45 minutes who was helpful. Do Not use their internet and save your time and money! Mary Zemlock

Honestly the only good think about Verizon is their connectivity. To my experience, nothing else matches that. Other than that I haven't been satisfied with their customer service or pricing. $80 per line is an absurd price to me and once we switched, Verizon didn't make any kind of counter offers.

If Zero stars was an option, I would have chosen it. I had an appointment from 8 a.m. to noon today with a Verizon 5G home internet technician to install the equipment. They never arrived. Starting at 11:57, I started texting and phoning to find out when I should expect him/her. After 1 1/4 hours and being transferred to a fifth agent, Verizon disconnected the call. Next, I spent 45+ minutes on live texting chat only to be told she never had the ability to help me. After almost 5 hours, I was told a technician would arrive in 25-30 minutes. That was 2 hours and 29 minutes ago. . .

The worst company to work with EVER scams every single customer. New customers are scammed more than others as they act like everyone is clueless and stupid. I have been given attitude. Hung up on. Lied to. Promised to be called back 3 times. 4 months later and NOTHING just more bogus charges. I have lost money, time at my job, and every ounce of patience with this INCOMPETENT employment and SCAM of a company. I would recommend to read fine print and DO NOT PAY CHARGES THAT YOU ARE UNSURE OF. I’d give them a 0 star if I could. The BBB should shut it down

HORRIB LE! The customer service is a nightmare. If you need to use the chat - they transfer you and could care less if it goes to the right department - I have been transferred over 9 times in one chat session that lasted over an hour! HORRIBLE service. If you try the phone numbers they give you then you get to deal with the robot that never allows you an agent - you just get hung up on when you don't have an option to press that fits.

Been a Verizon customer for 12 years. The one time I actually needed them when I had a phone lost, they came up very short. I have been on the phone with customer support, supervisors, managers. I was told I would be taken care of by 2 supervisors.Then told I would not be by others. Very inconsistent. And at the end of the day I was not taken care of and the situation was not resolved.

They are big corporate theives. I have been trying to get a refund for a prepaid account that will no longer work after 12/31/2022 for over a month. I was told on November 29,2022 I would have it approx. 15 days. It has been a month and still nothing, and I can't get a live person to discuss this. I am owed $246.00, which may not seem like much to most people, but it is a months worth of groceries for me. They are theives, I wish I could give them less than one star.

Verizon is a scam company - if you cancel service they charge you through your billing period. Customer Service gives you the run around and does not explain their policy of charging for service not provided. DO NOT use this company. Further, I tested their subsidiary - Visible - the cell service is terrible - total downgrade where you can do simple things like letting Target know you're there for a pick-up.

If you owe Verizon a cent of last month's bill they lock you out of the app. My bill should be 150 but every month I owe about 450. Because I'm less than 1 month passed due I'm not able to speak with an agent to unlock my account and see the bill. I tried their chat room they suggested but it's another AI that has a payment link that doesn't work and no way to get the account unlocked to make a payment. Verizon is by far the worst phone company I've had. Get a company you can trust

I've given them full access to my bank account AND debit card, they call every month saying they couldn't figure it out. Smh. Bunch of bumbling idiots... When I switched to Verizon I found a phone in their store for $350 I paid it in full in the store a few years later and I find out phone payments have been added to my bill and I've been paying off an $800 phone I called and asked what was going on and they said it was $800 and that it was a promotion and that I never paid for the phone. AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile are all scummy liars with scummy business tactics that hide behind BS contracts. I'm switching to Mint because I'm sick of it.

Horrible Costomer service. After canceling my lines with them, they continued to charge me $75 for an old iPad I didn’t know was still connected. They linked it to an old email account I hadn’t used for 12 years do I wasn’t able to talk to anyone at Verizon over the phone because I couldn’t verify I was me. I had to go down to a Verizon corporate store to confirm I was me for the pleasure of then getting back on the phone for an hour with 2 agents (be CD aide I was disconnected with the first half way through) before they would refund my money. What a scam!

My spouse & I work through our phones & have constantly been having service issues which causes me to lose out on money! Been calling since March & FINALLY was told that everyone is fighting for the 5G towers thats why my services keeps going to 4G & losing connection. If I could give a negative rating for Verizon mobile network customer service, without any hesitation I would do that. Being a top notch network provider, they are amazingly horrible when it comes to customer service. We got into a family plan and are 6 months into it, there has been not a single time that things worked out flawlessly/smoothly through customer service (includes people at store as well as on call). Please make some effort in understanding customer need and work things out accordingly.

I was a Verizon prepaid customer for 35 years. When I decided to switch to a postpaid plan they were very rude and unhelpful. This was not the first time they treated me like this. So I switched to a new carrier. I had a $35 credit on my account and they will not refund it to me. I am 68 years old and this is how they treat loyal customers? The should be ashamed of themselves for treating seniors like this.

My family and I are canceling our Verizon plans as well and telling anyone who will listen. No contract is a joke, especially if you do a trade in. If you try to leave, they will charge you for the full price of the new phone, while keeping and selling your traded in phone. Rep told me that it was legal... maybe but is it ethical?? Not that Verizon cares as long as they make money and can still says it's legal.

I've been a customer for 8/9 years. Was going through a bad breakup and my bf phone was in my name on my account. I reported the phone stolen, he was in the process of trying to get new service on my phone when the store rep called me asking if he could have the phone and the number and I stated no I've reported the phone stolen so you need to retrieve it. We'll she let him get new service on my phone!!! Verizon lost and stolen department said there's nothing they can do. This company should be sued into bankruptcy.

So much runaround in trying to get anything resolved. When my spouse and I determined that the "deal" we were offered resulted in an extra $25 in fees, we collectively spent 6 hours on the phone trying to get the charges taken off. After the latest call, I was on the phone for over 2 hours and somehow got disconnected. Very expensive and hard to get a straight answer from anyone.

If I could leave 1/2 star I would have. I help manage numerous condo associations and HOAs and this is a constant issue. They will come install the lines and leave them above ground, stating they will be back within 2 weeks to bury them. 2 years later we are still waiting for this to happen in several of the communities. These above ground lines are a hazard and a nuisance. The lines end up getting cut by the landscapers or people trip over them. This is a HUGE liability for the association as well as residents getting hurt and losing their internet.

I switched to AT&T due to it being a bit cheaper since my job offers a discount with them, well I had Verizon and it’s just sick that they change $350 for each phone disconnected , I had T-Mobile before and when I switched they didn’t even charge me to disconnect. Verizon is the worse and all they care about is money. Now I owe $1,400 just because we switched over. Never again am I using Verizon again and I’m not paying y’all crap! Y’all just like to take money from people! $350 per line to get disconnected is just stupid!

They are overpriced, the cell service is not good, we bought 5G phones and the network never had 5G service...anywhere. I just changed providers and Verzion charged me a full month of service eventhough my number was ported over before the end of the billing cycle. And please do not go for their affiliate programes. I have Disney+ and Discovery + through them, and now that I cancelled my service with Verzion, no seems to be able to cancel these services, which means that Verzion will continue to bill me eventhough I am no longer with them. PLEASE DO NOT SIGN UP WITH THEM.

Worst customer service ever. It’s impossible to speak to a live agent. Need to schedule appointment for CB if u missed that call it starts all over making appointment. I’ve never been charged such insane charges for 2 lines unlimited only both devices paid off. Been current on bill now being charged 287.00 for unpaid 2 months. Been trying to resolve this for a week already. Ready to go back to T Mobile or straight talk same towers but only $45 month. pO customer don’t go with Verizon your on your own if need help

After checking the iphone and realizing that it was not a current phone I complained to the general Manager of the store who fired the salesmen and said they would get back to me. They will not let you change the email or name on the profile even if the persons name does not have service with verizon you are the account manager and owner the number phone and debit card on file is in your name instead they send the email to the non verizon customer with a 120 second time limit to log in with a code and do not let you pay off your phone until a month after you buy it when they could simplify make the changes without the other non verizon customers permission and give you the run around on hold in store call this person go in store games

Horrible customer service. They’re full of problems muses but don’t expect Verizon to deliver on any of them. We were on the phone with support for a few days before we could even get one of the phones to connect when initially switching. A few month later and we were denied our rebate because they gave me an invalid code. Customer service is completely unhelpful! They give you the run around and hang up when their one line, scripted answer doesn’t work.
