Sales person was a snake oil salesman once installation was scheduled never heard from her will not answer emails or phone calls. Month after installation still waiting to get OK to turn system on all inspections have been done.

During the heavy rainfall this year in Southern California I had leakage in living room. Vivint came out and found they had not secured the panels properly causing rain to come into my house. They are still in the process getting the repairs done. It's been more than 2 months. I haven't even had the service for a year and already problems.

This company just plain SUCKS took 6 months for them to get started Customer Service is out right LOUSY I'm stuck in a stupid lease for 20 years and my monthly electric bill is the same I paid while with Edison And my "D: care is a 1000.00 a year If you can't buy solar outright stay away

It was easy to get going and once installed it has saved us a significant amount on our electric bill, usually 30 % or more every month. But that really depends on the amount of sun. Can't stand those cloudy rainy days anymore.

My solar panels and the system was installed more than a year ago and as of this writing is not working yet. There are at least six technicians to fix the problem but to no avail. And last Feb. 2, 2017, a technician is supposed to come to attemp (again) to fix it but nobody showed up, not even a phone call to let us know he cannot make it.

Panels worked great for 1st year. Since then haven't had service for 10 out of 12 month and trying to get them to come fix the problem has been a nightmare. We are ready to gave them and remove the panels. They tell us that we would have to pay for that but they are in default Of contract that both parties signed.

Worse service ever! Took over 10 months to get services connected. Vivint Solar put LIEN on your house. Unable to refinance or sell. DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES. They don't tell you that they are putting a LIEN on your home if I knew it I wound never agreed to it.

After initial 6 panels (1.44 Kw) installation, discovered power consumption is 80% to 90% higher than current design can delivered. For the past two (2) years unable to contact anyone to assist me and/or a Vivint Account Rep. in obtaining additional panels.

Vivint Solar has terrible customer service and there billing system is terrible also. There Techs don't know how to fix a problem and bounce you from billing to another dept that is the operational dept. the wait is sometimes 60-75 minutes on hold.

I almost pay double than before I started to use Vivint Sola on the energy bills. The customer service is super terrible, I spent more than 2 hours on the phone and got transferred from one person to another, every time I waited for more than 30 minutes to get next person but still could not get an answer regarding my billing questions.

I received a letter from Vivint, dated 8/16/16-Informing me I was not approved for a Solar Lease, well I have never applied with this company and it says they ran my credit with Trans Union 11/6/2015-whats up sounds bogus to me, how can they run your credit if you have never even had them to your home and signed any kind of application, beware!!

This company is beyond terrible to work with. Try calling them and see how long you have to wait just to speak with someone. Oh and if you ask to speak with Manager, apparently they don't have one. I have not once spoken to a helpful person. Also, they don't even have an app for the iphone.

FINALLY after 2 years we are sometimes making more solar than the energy we are using. They didn't want to put the extra set of panels on because they swore it would take us over 95% production. That's happened maybe 10 days in the last 2 years.

I was never ever told by vivint that if I should ever move they wanted 40,000. To be paid off. If the new owners do t want to continue the lease. I did move its been a year an to date I still receive bills even after I sold my home. Very sad it took a year to get them installed. I would never recommend them

It has been 8 months since my solar panels were installed but system has not been activated yet! Montgomery County permit authorities say Vivint's installation does not meet County code requirements and must make corrections. Vivint has not done so. Customer service is poor, offering only email apologies but no action.

Do NOT use Vivint. Signed up in June 2014, it is the end of May 2015 and I still do NOT have solar. I take days off of work for appointments for the set up and then they DO NOT show up. They don't care and they are unprofessional.

Extremely pushy salesman who lied multiple times, which I called him on. It was extremely difficult to get him to understand I am moving within 2 years, and therefore a 10 year contract was not in my best interest. He kept reassuring me that the next owner would love it "for sure."

A rep came to my door. I have a no soliciting sign on my door. They knocked anyway. I kindly explained that I had a solar quote already and didn't do it. They were aggressive in saying that I didn't fully understand, and that if I did, I would buy.

Vivint Solar came to our house and proposed a bid that would allow them to own the equipment and me to rent it from them. This option known as leasing didn't really achieve the goal I had with my power bill. That goal was to have no power bill at all. Not pay Vivint for 20 years.

We pay more to Vivint than we ever paid the electric company. Now we are stuck. We were dumb and didn't do our research first. We also were not offered a battery back up, which we really need for my disability.
