After 7 months of missed appointments, failed deisgn, failed inspection, still no solar. Please, please do not do buisness with them - you will greatly regret it. Nothing but fustration, lost work days for appointments that were missed and misleading information. I am so upset tha I am in. Aleasing contract with them that is forcing me to keep it. Ready to remoce the panels myself. Horrible customer service.

Installers came on time and were very efficient. Upon installation, they showed me the new system and explained the process for getting it online.

Great customer service. Installation was a breeze and the service engineers and electricians were all very professional and curteous.

Poor solar panel installation cause a leak in my roof. It has been 5 months of continuously trying to get the company to remove the panels so that repairs could be made. The leak is so bad that it has gone into the first floor and water is pool in my light fixture... but apparently this is not a concern to the company as they continue to reschedule appointments

Almost made a big mistake listening to this company, they will say anything to get you to sign a contract! There are great companies out there that do this work for more than just profit. Do your homework, My current system installed by Sunbug works great and customer service to date has been excellent. My advise is always go local, the smaller the company the better the service and you will be supporting your community. You are trying to help the planet while helping yourself, don't ruin the experience by settling for less!

This company should get a "O" yes a ZERO very bad customer service. Waited 4 hours for technician and no one showed up and no one called. When I called they told me someone called in sick... I understand people get sick but would it have been to much trouble to call and let me no that they were not coming. Wasted a day off from work and no show. Can never get thru to customer service everyone pusses you off on someone else. You can be on phone for hours and get nothing accomplished. So sorry I went with Vivint. Terrible Terrible company to deal with.

Don't waste your time and money with this company. The customer service is complete GARBAGE. They will lease you solar panels and can't find the time to come do the maintenance as agreed on your contract. After several weeks on the phone they had nothing but excuses. Frustrating and very disappointing. "Best company" at playing phone tag and giving you the run around. Do yourself a huge favor, Pick another company for solar panels.

The sales, installation, and customer service people, great. System ready to go in early April. We are still waiting for the corporate review to be finished, 4 months later!! One would have to wonder what is wrong with contract/installation that it would take this long to 'review ' !! Also, I'm still waiting for the paper copy of our contract too! I was told 3 weeks ago it was on its way.

The up front agreement and installation was great, even the inspection was within reasonable timeframes. However, the administrative review takes way too long to finally throw the switch to get solar. Very disappointing why it takes so long.

Vivint solor has been the most horrible experience I can remember dealing with. More horrible than AT&T and I thought that was bad. Sales and installation was great. END of good experience. Took 4 months to connect (yet my referral was 3 weeks). Never got an answer as to what was the delay. Took 4 days to get auto billing and told it was because I don't have the server they want me to use.

After paying a high price monthly to Vivint and then being charged over $570 by So. California Edison for "cumulative energy charges" for the year, I found that I was saving very little money. Adding up the 12 months of bills from Vivint Solar and adding the charge by SCE; then dividing by 12.....wasn't saving much in the way of money. Liked the idea of having solar panels, but I was led to believe I would save money in the long run.....not so much!

Had Vivint solar for almost 3 years, had to move, contacted Vivint they said "We do NOT move systems" I replied "then cancel my service since I am forced to move" their reply was "you must buy out the system for $20,000!" or you are in breech of the contract. I guy that sold me the PPA said the contract I signed was for maintenance of the system only. I have been asking them to move the system for 6 months and they would rather do nothing than help.

DON'T DO IT! Vivint is great at the smoke and mirrors game! My father-in-law had them install panels on his home on the Jersey Shore, the whole process took forever! Because my in-laws lived in Florida for most of the 3 previous years Vivint had to estimate their power consumption and ended up installing too few panels. My in-laws were ok with this as Vivint promised to return and install more panels if needed, guess what over a year later and still no panels! We have gotten to the point where we are going to turn the system off just to get someone out! Stay away from Vivint!

This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with. They fail to return calls. It took over 3 months to get them to remove the panels so we could get a new roof installed. Once installed, they refused to re-install and refused to work with my roofing contractor. I have had to hire an attorney and they don't even respond to his calls or letters.

Just want to advise those who are thinking about Vivint Solar...Savings is MINIMAL the rate that Vivint charges is slightly less then that of my electric company and power supplier. I realized a whole $13.00 savings for the month. I was told that I would see a 30% savings in my electric bill by the salesman, what he didn't tell me is that Vivint was going to suck up about 28% of the savings on their bill. Not worth having all the panels on my house. Also, when I wanted to discuss the rate my salesman could not be bothered, he made his sale!

Vivint does not live up to it's "customer service is in our dna" for existing customers. They focus on Sales and New installs. Once you have your panels installed, it takes weeks / months to get problems resolved. In the seven months since my system was activated, we have experienced two inverter problems. Both times took > month to resolve; during which time my panels produced no energy. However, Vivint continued to bill me. This summer my electric bill is double the cost it was when I used only National Grid. This company does not care about existing customers.

I havw been trying since early April of 2017 to have Vivint come out and remove 5 panels so that a leak in our roof can be reparired. On May 6th I paid Vivint their required price of $965.00 to have them come out and remove and replace the panels and to date they have not contacted us to schedule the removal. I have called and e-mailed numerous times and each time I have requested to speak with a manager/supervisor and am told each time my message will be passed on and someone will call me back. To date NOTHING!!! At this point I am contacting my attorney.

Buyer beware. If you decide to purchase solar panels, do not utilize Vivint solar. They have horrible customer service where no one can provide you with answers. Read the fine print before you buy the solar panels as unlike what they advertise on their website, Vivint does not provide any maintenace, monitoring or support. Once you sign all they want is is your money.

Worst company to work with- wish I never bought my Solar from them!! Sales piece seemed good but, the minute the deal was signed all promises went out the door. Delivery of solar was over 135 days when promised in 30 days. Rebate check never happened. Communication never happened. Customer Service no such thing. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone!!

I purchased solar panels thru Vivint I was never informed that I signed a contract for 20 years by the salesmen who came to my home. Since they have been installed I have not saved any money to date. They were turned on in late Sept 2016 When i receive my bill from BGE and it;s low I get a higher bill from Vivint so I am not saving anything with these Solar Panels on my Home. I ask to have them removed and that was when I was told I had signed a contract for 20 years. What they sent me did not show my signature at the end of this so-called contract

Excellent sales representative, installation, and inspections. But it's now 6 weeks later, and I still haven't been able to activate the panels. It hasn't even been sent to electric company! Company's excuse is that it has to go through a company review.... for 6 weeks! Terrible customer service with no help, just excuses.

I have been waiting three weeks for someone to assess damage to my roof. I have called at least 6 times to speak to a damage control representative and they assured me someone would call back and schedule an evaluation and assessment of the damage. To date there have been no return phone calls. I am disappointed in the company and find them very unprofessional. At this time I certainly could not recommend Vivint to anyone.

I moved and sold my house but wasn't able to transfer the service and when I explained this to the company they told me that it was to bad but I was going to have to continue to pay for someone else's electric bill or go and remove the panels myself. The customer service is horrible and they are ruining my credit because of this and there is nothing I can do about it. Terrible service and company DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM UNLESS YOU WANT PROBLEMS OF ALL KIND.

They will do anything to get you to sign a contract and then once you do that's it you can forget about getting them to do anything. I been told 3 times they were coming back to install the skirts around all my panels they are just humoring me I have the texts messages to prove. Now I have all kinds of animals making a homes on my roof that I never had before. Shows you what kind of company this is

They make you make them if you have to break the lease. They don't even work properly. They get a government credit and want there customers to pay an outrageous price for panel that don't even work right. Worst company ever. I would not recommend it to anyone and if I can tell everyone in my neighborhood that is even thinking of getting vivint not to I will. That will be there biggest mistake ever.

They did all the paperwork, inspections, etc, Installers showed up with panels. We were so excited after waiting forever. About one half hour later and enumerable holes in my roof the installer told us that they were unable to install the panels. We were also told that they were only responsible for filling the holes with silicone. We called and called and asked how they would feel if the town and their inspector passed the plans. They were rude, uncaring and downright mean. How do you sell a home with umpteen holes in the roof? Before installing they inspected the underside of roof 2x.

We have had a good experience up until now, our panels have been in since july, it is now October and there is something wrong. We have been told that our system will not be looked at until November. Also we were told that the panels would work, as long as there was power created, now we find out that there is a limit. We feel like we are locked in to something that is going to cost us more money than we had anticipated.

do not have installed or at least wait. they will tell you there are no incentives and than one by one the people that hold out will get $1000.00 incentives to sign because they held out. I basically have a reflective roof that will not be turned on and will not let twp in to do final inspection. there sales team will lie and then lie to you again whe3n they get caught. buyer beware, check with all other companies I wish I would of had other companies in before I did I went by my gut and it was the worse choice I could have made.

The salesman said that I would be saving at least $50.00 per month. My electric bill went down, but the bill from Vivint goes up every month. I am now paying more than what I was paying my utility company. There was an article in AARP about a complaint from a member about Vivint. That customer received money back from Vivint due to the sales pitch verses the actual charges.

The savings that were promised by the salesman and company have been non-existent. We have tried two times to have the district sales manager contact us after he said he would look into our account but have had no luck. Even dropped by the office to see him, 'he was out.' We left him a voice message to call us, that was a week ago. I am going to pursue a way to get the installation uninstalled. Have a feeling that will be problematic due to the fine print in the contract. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!

I have had Vivint Solar panels on my home for about three years now and this Company is so dishonest it should be against the law. They didn't put the amount of panels they promised on our home. They said they were out of stock, that was two years ago. They no longer service my town, but they take money from me every month. My electric bill is "higher" with panels on my roof. For three months I have been waiting for someone to come back out to our home and nothing. DONT USE THIS COMPANY.

This company applies for permits before getting a contract. In Philadelphia you can only have 1 company apply for permits. If you decide to go with another solar company you are stuck until Vivint removes their applications. Getting them to do this(Even though you don't have a contract with them ) is very time consuming. You don't get enough cooperation from them. For this reason I give them a 1
