This company practices bait and switch. The claim is 20-40% savings every month with no out of pocket costs. I have seen no savings. Also they billed me incorrectly for a month my service wasn't active. Vivint claimed 4-6 weeks to rectify the bill. It took 4 months to credit errant charges. Vivint even threatened to shut off my panels because I didn't pay. My panels were installed early February and July is when they went active. Right now the attorney generals office is involved so we will see what happens. For anyone out there looking at Vivint, stay away. There are no savings and customer service only makes excuses. I have invested about 40 phone calls since my service was turned on July 3rd. The bottom line is I wish I had never signed up with them and would not recommend them to anyone. Every aspect has been terrible with Vivint. Hopefully the panels will be removed soon.

I didn't want to sign anything. Deceiving salesman said that I could cancel at any time but I needed to sign to keep the process moving along. I told him no. He said look you can cancel at any time even if van is inthe driveway. He tried to schedule a time for installation we spoke in phone I told him to cancel the installation. He said he would cancel and email me to reschedule. They showed up and installed on that date anyway when I wasn't at home. Vivint even confirmed the cancellation with me!! Don't use Vivint they will do anything to get your business. They just care about making $$

I am fed up enough with their customer service to start filing complaints. I wish I had read reviews before signing up with this company a year ago. It's near to impossible to talk to an intelligent person on the phone that can actually help with the billing issues. I just keep getting pushed from one department to the next. I called them to ask why my bill was 4 times the amount it should have been. Was told it was the fault of a 'non functioning panel'. Really? I've called 3 times now and am still waiting for an answer. Reading other reviews makes me furious I got taken in by their smooth talking sales rep. Buyer beware.

Customer Service is not in the realm of their business model. When I tried to get an answer to something, I was forwarded to the sales rep. He had all of the answers when he was selling. Now he said to check with Pacific Gas & Electric. They have no concern for the customers they have installed. I have had two service contacts by them. They cannot tell me what the problem is or why they are out to my house. Nobody wants to talk to me the customer. I would not recommend.

Our house caught on fire from the panels!!! Vivint has been worse than anyone could imagine. We had the burned panels taken down as well as the undamaged portion, on the larger roof. We had to pay the costs for that roof to be repaired (holes and shingles), out of pocket. My 77 year old father was displaced to a senior apartments. Six months later, he was was so sick with stress, he ended up selling the house at half its worth (half-repaired). Vivint is still charging him monthly, for solar power even though there are no panels up and he does not own the house. This is one year later. He has called and complained but, no one will show any compassion. I am totally disgusted, about how they are treating my father. This has been a huge loss. Our family home gone gone and still being billed for solar power that is not being used. They intend on charging him for 20 years! The fine print of a 20 year contract was not explained to my father. Vivint has taken terrible advantage of him. My father still can not sleep nights due to this trauma, mistreatment and displacement.

We bought a house which just had Vivint Solar panels installed; the panels worked for three months, then quit working. We have called Vivint several times. The last time, October, 2015, they were going to send an electrician over to check on the problem; here it is, October 2016, and we have yet to see an electrician. We have had the panels for over a year not producing.....when I call there, the Fleet team indicates ti me they have 18,000 customers and do not have time for everybody. So, we are just going with our swamp cooler and a/c and to heck with the solar panels. I have asked them several times to come and get them off our roof, but to no avail. This is the worst company to do business with. I would not recommend them to anybody.

In May of 2015 I made a call to Vivint. Sales rep Joe L (regional manager) came to my home and explained the system to myself and my wife. We decide to have the system installed. A site survey was done about 2 weeks later. After several calls to the rep. And my last call in August 2015.,I didn't bother to call them anymore. To my surprise in March of 2016 That same rep contacted me again and apologized for not getting back to us. Against my better judgement we decided to try it again. The rep promised a cash signing bonus that he would give us the day we turned the system on. The site survey was completed system was designed and installed On July 5th 2016' after all inspections were completed. The system was finally turned on September 25th. After several emails and phone calls, still waiting for Joe L to live upto his end of our deal. I feel This was just a sales ploy so buyer beware...

I have had no problem with our solar panels when they have been operating. We've had them for about a year now. They are not working now due to a "arc fault error" according to the screen we've had on the side of the house. I had to find this out when I received a very large PSE&G bill in August which is probably one of or THE highest usage of electricity all year with the exception of Feb or Jan. We were told somebody would be in contact with us within a few days to make an appt to come out to look at them. Nobody contacted us all week. I had to call them to find out that somebody will be out on October 13th now. BAD SERVICE!!

It took a very very long time to get my system installed. I had to call multiple times just to be told "someone will call you back" That NEVER happened. Finally had the final inspection with the town electrical inspector and guess who didn't show up?? The vivint solar person, that's who. Now it's been a few months that system has been up and running. I noticed that i wasn't getting any production and called customer service. They told me that they do not have any one in the area to service the system but the a part needs to be replaced. I will get a call within 4-6 weeks was what i was told. I have never dealt with a company that had so many issues. From installation to actual performance and inadequate customer service.

We got our solar panels in November of 2015 and we were pretty excited to save some money. They didn't start working until March and we liked that we were only spending 85$ a month on power. That is until summer came and we started paying the power company also. When we averaged it out we were paying about the same as we were paying before we got solar. And then came the slap in the face. We needed to put our house up for sale, thinking the Solar could be a nice selling point. However, we soon found out it was the worst choice we EVER made. Nobody wanted to take over the lease, there was a lien on our house and when we finally ended up selling our home we had to decrease it by $10,000 and provide many concessions before the buyers were happy. We probably lost around $15,000 all together. Our sales person was very nice and gave us some good information (all the benefits), but he did not provide us with the risky information. He sounded like selling our home with the solar panels would be a breeze. Not so. At. All. We should have read the fine print better for sure. Vivint was also not helpful during the transfer process, although after several phone calls and using all of my cell phone minutes, they came through in the end. I am not convinced this is over since I still got a bill from them last month. We will see.

In trying to get a date to temporarily remove the solar panels on my roof in order to replace the roof it has taken many hours on the phone to be able to make a payment to Vivint so that they would perform the task. One support group does not know what the other support group is doing and at the end of the day -- the payment was made but I still do not have a firm commitment on when they will remove the solar panels. Over the 2+ years we have dealt with Vivint their customer service has been nothing short of horrible. There is no interest in actually providing customer assistance and there is no interest in actually trying to solve a problem. The product is very good and the panels reliable but their customer support is in desperate need of a complete overhaul.

BEWARE!!! Began this 'project' in Oct of 2015, I am unable to speak to my customer sales satisfaction rep, no return phone call or email. I was 'approved' by my town's electrical inspector back in May 2016. I called Eversource, my power company, they said they are waiting for VIVENT to release the completion document to them. I have waited all Summer for this! In 2 days it will be SEPTEMBER 1, 2016 and I am still waiting for them to 'hook up' service! I just got off the phone again with Vivent, my customer support person nor her manager answered the phone! I wonder if anyone really works or did the company fold? I really would just like them to take the solar panels off my roof & recycle them to use on their own home!

Horrible company, completely unprofessional. They know exactly what they are doing when installing the system, but have no clue how to run a company. Lack of information, and communication. I would never recommend this company to anyone. They hurry up and convince you to sign a 20 year contract. Then you wait 6 months for your panels to get installed. Then you deal with the lack of customer service and their terrible website that doesn't even allow you to see how much they are charging you. They expect you to just trust what they are charging your card per month. And you will end up paying them more then not having solar at all. This company is a legalized scam do not trust them!

Starting off was pretty bad. Our first billings were labeled as power usage but was really power production. We were outraged for a while until it revised as power production. Why the misstep, who knows. I wished we had gone with some other company who was more in step with actual terminology for billing purposes. That was finally corrected but latter on they decided to for go the power production and KWS used on the same billing then decided for production only. To find out how much KWS were actually used you had to go to your account page at their website. To even get that information they wanted to verify my Bank Account info I was using for my bill paying. Why such a Hassel when to get to my account I had an ID and Password I needed to enter! Seems like aCompany just starting up. Hopefully somebody gets a clue and K.I.S.S.

I want to get out of Vivint Solar because my electric bill is not really saving me money. I am paying more for my energy bill because of the bill charge by Vivint. I only have it active for 3 months. To get out of the contract they are charging me to buy out of the contract for $72,000 which is just as much as the cost of owning the solar. I feel like they own me, like their prisoner, paying them money by using my roof. Their contract leave no protection to the customer. They said I will be charge for the amount of energy produce by the solar which is the SUN. I even turned off the meter so I am not using the energy from their Solar. My bill is still as high as the previous. When they try to offer this, they said I am not paying anything. I was misled, just so I sign-up. How can I get out of the contract which is for 20 years. I leave alone, don't use much energy and at my late senior age all I have been trying to do is to lower my monthly expenses, having a hard time paying my monthly bills. I need help. What can I do?

This company told me they could save me money below PG&E cost which was a lie I told them I was on The CARE program through PGE and they said their rates could beat that and they lied in fact their rates are well above what The CARE program offers therefore I am paying money to have their equipment on my route not only that but the energy that goes back into the grid I have to buy back at full charge when their PG&E buys it at $0.04 I have tried for a year now to get ahold of somebody and talk to somebody and I keep getting the runaround I am going to remove these panels one way or another

If I could, I would leave them a negative number of stars for review. In a nutshell: THEIR SERVICE IS SO BAD THEY REFUSE TO GIVE OUT THE FULL NAMES OF THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVES OR THE SUPERVISORS IN CHARGE. They will bend over backwards to get you to sign with them but once you do, good luck. Every time you call customer service, it's at least an hour (only a few seconds to get to the salesperson trying to sell you their BS though). They flat out lie about taking care of your roof. The savings they promise are not nearly as good as what they claim. Their contract also comes with an ARBITRATION CLAUSE like most companies do nowadays so be aware. Long story: We got their solar panels about a year or so ago since we wanted to have some energy savings and did not want the hassle of installing solar panels that we own. No hassle and supposedly a significant energy savings, right? Well, the energy savings has been less than what was promised but at least having the panels has not been a headache... Or so we thought. Let me just say that when the pitched their services, they made it seem like any and all issues that might arise from having the panels installed would be covered and fixed by them and any damage to our roof would be taken care of by them no problem. Total crock of lies and false advertising. They have the worst customer service. It's so bad they won't even give out the names of the people we spoke with or their supervisors. I have NEVER encountered a company that was that blatant about not owning up to their problems. We called them several weeks ago because we noticed that pigeons were roosting under one of the panels they installed. They sent a technician to look at it finally. He climbed our roof and took pictures and said "I'll show this to my boss and they should contact you about what they are going to do about it." Of course, here we are thinking that they would honor their part of the contract which states that they will take care of any problem that arises from their solar panel including the protection of the integrity of our roof. So we wait to hear from them and a week goes by, another week goes by so we finally called them to find out what they were going to do about the problem. After claiming that their company does not fix the problem and me insisting on talking to the supervisor that the guy they sent out to look at our roof supposedly showed the pictures to, I get to this guy named Fosita from "sweeps (sp?) assistance" who looked into it and said their mysterious supervisor never got the pictures. This after over a month of waiting for their response. He promises to send an email to his supervisor and that we would hear from them in 24 hours. A week goes by. We call again and after being placed on hold for nearly an hour, another guy, Brad, profusely apologizes and says it will get taken care of and makes it seem like they will actually take care of the problem and that they will e-mail us paper work for us to sign. We get it a few days later and the e-mail contains a quote for $800 from a pest control company. Nowhere on it does it say that Vivint will actually pay for it like they made it sound like they would on the phone. So we called again. Got the run around claiming it would have to go through their mysterious supervisor and that we would get a call back. No call. We call again a week later and basically after all this time and runaround, if we want to have anything done about the pigeon problem on our roof, we would have to pay for it ourselves. So whatever you do, don't sign up with them. They not only won't own up to all the things they claim they will do, they aren't even brave enough to put their names out there and claim ownership of their decisions.

I'm STILL mad at Vivint Solar! I was trying to buy the perfect little rental house, and it went to heck because of the solar company. Vivint had partially installed solar panels on the house 9 MONTHS prior and still had not worked well enough with the owners to get the system up and running. Were they having a baby? 9 months! They refused to let the owner move the panels to his next home. Note I've seen that Vivint would do that, but "according to the OLD contract" they wouldn't do that. Then after all those months, the reps couldn't give my realtors the same story twice. It ended up holding up escrow and I cancelled out of the deal because I just couldn't marry into doing business with that company. I would have been constantly worried--will it ever work? Will they jerk around my renter too? (of course)-and on top it all, I should not have to wait over half an hour or more to simply TALK to a customer rep! I had considered buying out the panels so another company could handle the service, but no, you can't buy them out til after 6 years. I will probably never EVER buy solar for my own roof now, from any company!

I have had Vivint solar for over 2 years now, the main problem is I am having a party the end of the month and am buildingan overhang over my deck, I call over a month before to get a price to take 3 panels down to do construction, theyou told me 500, I told them you want that to take down 52 panels if I need to do roof, I only need 3. They said they would review this and call me back, no one ever calls you back, it is now the day after construction is supposed to start and Ivery called them 12 times, about an hour and a half everytime, and theyou still can't give me a price, I will rip panels off my house myself, the customer service is the worst

I would never recommend Vivint Solar because they were extremely difficult to deal with and it took almost one year before our system was installed and working properly. We were passed from rep to rep - all promising to correct the problem with our panels but several service calls later we still only had 30% production. Meanwhile, they started charging us for the lease even though the panels weren't working! I filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office in Massachusetts! Our panels are working now but I wish I wasn't in a contract with this company - I don't feel confident with them at all!

this is the wrost company ever - we were concerned about our roof and sent in their roofers said it was fine and they inspected it and put on the solar panels and now we can't sell our house without getting the roof done in the area we were concerned about or give the seller a credit for them to get it done - and we were told it would not cost us anything for a one time taking them off to repair the roof now since all their roofers are busy they need to charge us???? Also never were we made aware that if we wanted to remove the panels we would have to pay for them their customer service people do not know what they are doing and just keep transfering you from person to person... this is in Sayreville, NJ

I think that Vivint Solar is perhaps the most inept and deceitful organization I've ever dealt with. It's no wonder their costs are soaring and their returns diminishing... They come to your door to pitch their PPA and while you think that you are simply investigating the potential to install solar energy, they are running credit checks and opening permits for the installation that you haven't approved. The Sales rep advises that the 900 sq ft. system might be increased if a tree is taken down on the other side of the house and shows up one day, unannounced at your door one day with a tree company to provide a quote to cut the tree. You ask how much the energy yield will increase with the tree removal and the Sales rep doesn't know but will check and get back to you. He never does. The next thing you know, the local utility company shows up at your door to swap out the meter. You send them away, because you haven't approved the install and try to contact the Sales Rep. His e-mails come back "undeliverable". You then contact the main office and are told that you are scheduled for an install in two weeks. You tell them to cancel and advise you want someone from the local office to contact you. You are advised that the original Sales rep. has been reassigned to another state and that the tree removal would yield an additional 1-10% of solar energy. You are also advised that the ineptitude you have experienced thus far was due to the reassignment of personnel and will be corrected. You naively decide to go forward with the system (without the tree removal). On the day of the installation the crew shows up and the crew chief asks to see the main panel. He stares at it in disbelief... The panel is in the laundry room, behind sheet rock walls, with the service coming up through the cement floor. There is no way to access it to wire the solar system without tearing down sheet rock or wiring a sub-panel to the meter (which still hasn't been swapped out by the utility company). Since the site plan does not address this primary issue, the crew is not prepared to perform the installation. You finally come to our senses and send the crew away before more damage can be done

We had Vivint installed in January. My installation was long and not coordinated. But since then, the billing department and fleet service are really messed up, they dont seem to have the same computer sytem. Vivint has be overcharging me, then underharging me and to be honest I dont see saving from my SCE bill..... At least not yet. I am trying to get to the bottom of the over and undercharged but anyone I talk to cant help straighten it out. Their insgtallation, customer service, customer retention and fleet service all dont know what is what. - Recently I have asked that at company executive call me because no one else can help and of course, no one with knowledge of the systems, and billing etc can represent the company. Horrible service once the panels were installed. Was on hold for 54 minutes waiting for a response from the service team and when I did get a response, I was told it would be 23 days before they could get someone out to repair the data reporting system. We are paying as much as we did on budget billing with BGE because our bill is arbitrarily decided on, and increases significantly each month, because the data reporting is not working correctly.

Wow, where to begin. Don't go with them! Our Rep. Daniel Huddleston was smooth. You only pay for what you energy you use and then you get a refund from SCE, not! No liens on our home, not! If you are not happy with your savings just tell us to remove the panels, not! He disappeared out of town off social media, scammers! Took 6 months to install and we have not seen any savings at all. They tell wait a year and you will see. Customer Service can help because they don't know what salesperson does and they can't locate him. When we start asking the serious questions they disconnect us. We email and they won't return them. Don't know what else to do. Salesman made a good pitch, promises made that were not kept. Installation was in July 2015, service turned on late Aug 2015. We were assured that if there were any leaks in our roof (as we had no prior ones), Vivint would take care of the repair. Vivint is now denying responsibility stating that the leak is not directly under one of their panels when in fact the leak caused water to be re-routed after moving roof tiles to accommodate the panels. Contacted our salesman 3 times with promises of follow up with his manager, no responses to my inquiries. We now have a leak in the living room that they won't repair!!! Other issue is that the installers placed the receiver too far from the inverter box causing too many interruptions in transmissions. Tech came out, drilled a hole in the exterior wall to run a cable to an interior bedroom, moved all of our internet router/wifi equipment (without our knowledge) to a back bedroom only to find out that all that was needed was a wireless extender. Now we have an unnecessary hole in the wall with an ugly wire sticking out!

Vivint Solar Just Plain SUCKS. Aw, it started like a fairy tail but has ended up like a night mare. Do not engage these people. I was assured that Vivint Solar would be my only electric co for the next 20 years. For about 18 months they were. Then Hawaiian Electric Co began billing me beyond the net meter monthly fee. Now it has progressed to where I nearly pay each company an equal amount each month. I have called but was told that I was using electricity beyond what my panels produce. I have 28 panels and was assured these panels were more that able to meet my needs. I am actually paying what I paid before Vivint Solar ever came into my life. Hawaiian Electric has been ripping off the people of Hawaii for years. Now we have Vivint Solar doing it. Oh the sales people will promise you the moon and beyond. They are liars. DO NOT GO WITH VIVINT SOLAR. My wife wants me to contact the BBB and the Hawaii State Attorney General and the UTAH State Attorney General. If you think I am pissed you may be correct. Dealing with a company in UTAH and not in your state is a great weight to drag about. I should have known better.

Ok, this is going to be a little long, so bare with me. But to start with the conclusion: Do not use this company for solar. My Salesmen Brett G. told me I could save 50% of the cost of my electric generated from solar and that the system they would install on my roof would generate 50% of my total electric (total annual savings = approx. 25%; generating half my electricity at half cost). That is almost verbatim the pitch given to me. Unfortunately, this company appears to specialize in bait & switch. The savings are nowhere near 25%. In fact it is closer to 10% or less. When I discovered and brought up this huge discrepency and that the numbers weren't adding up to Brett G. he told me "well you are getting a tax credit from NY State and that is calculated in the savings". First off, no, it was never explained that a tax credit made up the majority of the savings, & 2nd, nobody decides & imposes what I use my tax credits for. So, that was as far as I got with Brett. On to his boss. Next I spoke to Brett's boss, Dusty B. He was pleasant at first and listened to me, but was basically a company man and gave me the "my hands are tied" line. I was clear with him that I was not asking for anything special or extra; just what I was told I could save! He confirmed with me that tax credits are NOT included in savings estimates and that it was improper for my salesmen Brett to state it was and that he would be "disciplined". I told him I did not want him disciplined, again I just what I was told I would save. When i asked for his Boss' contact info he started getting short with me. He had other meetings and rushed me off the phone. Plus he refused to supply his Boss' contact info. Instead I had to go through "corporate". He even intimated that Vivint could bring legal action against me because I turned my system off until this discrepancy is resolved. He also said I would not find anywhere in the contract the 25% annual savings that the Vivint representatives used to lure in customers. That number was however in a customized booklet showing the savings Vivint can offer; a booklet that my salesman took with him after the meeting and would not supply back to me when I asked. Strange considering that everything that I get from Vivint is in digital format. They force you to sign & initial iPads and post all documents online. Neither Brett nor Dusty had or could/would reproduce this booklet showing that number and the fact that Dusty brought up their legal position unprovoked gave me a strong feeling that many other Vivint customers have or are currently caught up in Vivint's web of misrepresentations/bait & switch tactics. The last straw was when I told Dusty I had an email from Brett stating he did indeed use a tax credit to calculate the savings and that it equated to approx. 11 cents a Kwh for the 25% savings (Vivint is charging 15 cents a kwh) PSEG charged me the equivalent of 16 cents a KW hour last month (Brett told me the average was 20 cent a kwh, when it is closer 18 cents; again confirmed by Dusty. Brett inflated that avg. cost thus inflating the "savings". Another misrepresentation). Dusty said "Well, you are still saving money"! I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Thats tantamount to a hotel saying pay half price for a $500 hotel room and when you get their they charge you $450 and justify it by saying "well, you're still saving money"? Nonsense. Basically, this is Vivint's position: we knowingly duped you by inflating savings we can't deliver & calculated tax credits into the savings your salesmen should not have, but you are still saving money (nowhere near the % we said you would), and after all of this, we aren't going to do a dam thing for you to make it right. In fact, we might even sue YOU (me). So it's on to Dusty's boss: VP Jeremy L. I'll update this post if there is anything to report, but judging from my experience with Vivint thus far, I don't expect much. They have their scheme down. I don't see how a company that operates like this stays in business very long. So once again, do not use this company unless you want to be in the same position I am. I suggest you get quotes from multiple installers/engineers before deciding. Its a shame, because its stuff like this that turn people off to alternative energy.

My wife posted this earlier on the Vivint site and it was taken down within 30 minutes. That has to tell you something.... Do not be fooled by the estimates Vivint offers on the potential savings you might see. They are vastly inflated and a misrepresentation to get the sale. We were promised 20-40% savings. We live in sunny southern CA so weren't worried about getting the sunlight. We are barely saving a couple of dollars a month and got a SURPRISE bill from the power company at the end of the year for over $400. (also no explanation from Vivint on that process). Customer service has been AWFUL, took them a month to figure out the totals, offered no compensation, no empathy, no apology, no shortening of our contract, no opportunity to speak to a supervisor...only the "solution" to put MORE panels on my home so that they could make MORE money off of my property. They are not concerned with the environment or my satisfaction. They are only concerned with how much money they can make off of us. Straightforward, disheartening corporate greed. I have been, and continue to be, terribly disappointed with both the reality of what I am stuck with and the most horrible customer service that we have ever experienced.

Vivint is the worst company I ever had the misfortune of dealing with. The sales representives were wonderful, the installers were wonderful. The whole process from start to finish took a year. I thought it was worth the weight untill billing started. Never received a bill for months called them they had all the wrong accounts and information. Caught up on everything owed. However account information was never resolved for another six months. All they know how to do is withdraw illegally directly threw your checking account double dipping at least twice a month causing your checks to bounce. They have repeatedly done this with no regard to their errors or compensation for the errors they caused. Finally had to make an account just for them and check daily for an invoice which was another ordeal as the company refused to send one informing us how much we owed monthly. But higher management said this is illegal and they will not send paper trails but will post an invoice once a month, So just when we thought we had the money transfers under control we find out we owe 1 cent for the past month and that Vivint with no warner or reason shut the panels off. My husband called feeling we've been insulted and abused beyond words asked them to take the panels down that we have had enough and they treaten us with breech of contract. Vivint breeched the contract by billing the wrong account, using the wrong e-mail addresses when given proper spellings numerous times, going into accounts and taking money when bills were already paid, using debit card numbers to withdraw money from accounts when they were instructed for a one time payment and finally lastly trying to remove the penny balance in the account I only deposit vivint money in. My husband is 70 years old and has had diarrhea almost every week dealing with them his blood pressure is sky high. You ask to speak with management supervisors no one in the company knows what the next is doing. They don'd know who in the company they should call to resolve the problems. It's one big nightmare. To those people I recommended I am truly sorry.

Really have seen the savings start to come through after a successful install over the last few weeks. I've appreciated how professional Vibnt Solar's been through the whole process

If you're one of those individuals who like to conduct business with companies who have their act together on their Web Sites, then don't do business with Vivint. I regret signing up for solar with this company for this issue alone. Their website has never worked since I signed on. You can't get invoices, documents, or other needed information in an efficient manner. Even despite complaints, they have not fixed their web-site. As far as savings, when I signed up, they promised me a 50% savings on my PGE... Well, if truth be told, I'm lucky if I'm actually saving 20%. Do yourselves a favor and do some hard nosed shopping, comparisons, etc. before you do business with Vivint.

I signed an agreement in June 2015. The first electrician of about 8, I believe, came inn during September 2015. It is now the end of December 2015. I also have a Genrac generator. Each electrician complained about the competence of the other. The system is still off line. By your actions you damaged the generator transfer box and the generator battery. Electricians and Tanner May promise to call – they do not. I have lost time. The system already failed the town's inspection. I have lost money. I am aggravated. My blood pressure is high. Meanwhile, the Solar panels are not on. The generator is off line. I was promised that that you folks are competent and capable of doing the work correctly in a timely fashion. By your conduct, these actions and omissions were false and misleading. I relied on your representations to my detriment. Your conduct in dealing with me has been both deceptive and fraudulent.

Although the salesperson that I worked with, Josh, seemed pretty good, the customer service has been terrible. I had the solar installed in July and here I am about to go into December, and it still is not completed. The young lady who is handling my account, Aubrianna, is very slow to respond, does not keep up with my account and does not seem concerned about my issues. Last week, I had hoped to get it ready to go but, my inspection failed. I have received no comment from Vivint as to when someone else would be here to get my wiring corrected, when a new inspection would be scheduled or even a call to let me know they are working on it. If I knew it was going to be this bad, I would have used another company. This is absolutely ridiculous!!!

Our salesman was great and always communicated with us. HOWEVER....the rest was a nightmare as well. From taking a full 6 months to get it working...it was ready in May and paperwork to page did not get to them until August. Although it was turned on by Vivint in May and I believed it was done...imagine my surprise when I have a regular pge bill. Vivint refused to help with that bill stating they put a new panel in for us. That's how they sold it so they weren't doing me a special favor. So we will just how much money we will actually save.

I was very impressed with the process. It may have taken a while, but the sales rep stated that from the beginning! The process was smooth and they kept it simple.

Our salesman was very good, very professional. Everything else was a nightmare. From all the damage done to our tile roof. One broken promise after another. no communication unless I called them. Then they would tell me what I wanted to hear, it ended up just being lies.Nothing went as promised, company just left us hanging time after time. It took over 6 months from the start of installation to being operational. I was told that with solar, we would never have another PG&E bill in tier 3 or 4. Every bill has been in tiers 3 and 4. Wish they could just remove their system and be done with it. Don't get me wrong....I think everyone should have solar. Just not from companies that do business like this.

Very unprofessional company. Lack of communication. Phone calls never returned. System installed mid July. After emails and phone calls and 3 no shows by the electricians electrical completed on Sept. 17th. Went to local town hall(1 month later) to see when inspections will be performed. Vivint never contacted the town for inspections. Made phone call to Rich Anderson (Vivint) to inquire about status. Has yet returned call.Sorry I went with Vivint and recommended other friends and relatives to sign up. It has been 3 months and I am not on line. Thanks Dave Card.Promises,Promises,Promises Steve Schur Oxford, MA

Vivant has been around for a long time, always coming out with the newest technology first. Salesman answered any questions I had. Gave me his number. Months later and he still checks on my system.
