From the minute the first contact with the door knock, then Austin ( our salesman) coming to our home, everyone has been professional and very informative! Blue Raven has taken care of permits and kept us informed! The installation guys was friendly and professional! They answered all of our questions and showed us how to set up our new thermostat! This was such a smooth process from the first contact through the explanation of how it would work to the installation. I started reaping the benefits almost instantly. Since the system was turned on, my average electric bill has been well under $20. This is one of the best decisions I have ever made and I would recommend Blue Raven to all home owners. Jeff Johnson

Since my system was energized, we have continually seen savings on our utility bills. The folks at Blue Raven have been consistent throughout every step and I am exceedingly happy. I've seen other houses that they have completed and their customers seem likewise pleased. Then there's the money I anticipate saving in the future, to include the tax refund.

From the very first time my wife and I sat down with the sales Manager, I was impressed. All the facts and figures he quoted for us were correct. Once the install started, the four man team doing the install were courteous inside and outside of our home. Once the city permits were received the install followed within a few days. Solar design panel layout looked very professional when done! GREAT JOB SOLAR TEAM!!!

The initial sales people were not pushy, just gave me the facts. Being a CPA, I understood the simple economics - pay the utility or pay for solar. Utilities go on forever, solar is a short finance. A great option for those planning on retiring as you gain some independence from the utility companies and protect yourself against future rate increases. Invest in your house, not the utility company - GO SOLAR.

My panels were just installed this morning. Though they are not operating yet, so far, the process as been just as stated or quicker. Everyone I have dealt with from my salesman, to schedulers, to installers, have been very helpful and courteous. Next up is the city inspection and installation of the new meter by my electric company. Can't wait to power up the system!

I have been impressed with every aspect of Blue Raven, from the sales team, to the finance team, to the installers, & customer service afterwards. The installers showed me the panels & explained how they worked & showed how they would be attached to the house. Everyone was really nice & VERY concerned about customer satisfaction! Scott and his crew were great! Very courteous, friendly, professional crew. The installation looks great! The attention to detail is fantastic. The delays in the install are due to the local utility permits and not the fault of the installers. Once permits were approved, they came in and got it done! Scott went over the system and how to energize it once the inspection is done and passed. His company monitors the panels to be sure they are all functioning as they were designed to do. Top notch system. Top notch company and crew. Nothing negative at all to say about them!

The material truck and installers arrived in a timely manner and were very pleasant, the material was unloaded quickly, and the installers staid steady at it. There was a hiccup with the original design based on the breaker panel location, but they got on the phone with the design team and figured out an alternate solution quickly. They cleaned up after themselves and made sure i knew the next steps before my system could be put into service. Overall, a very good experience and i would recommend Blue Raven to others.

The rep that I talked to from Blue Raven Solar was Rhett Honeycutt. Rhett went to great lengths to explain the program to me. He went over how Blue Raven works with Duke Energy to set everything up. He covered how the system pays for itself and walked me through each step of the process to get set up. He explained all of the warranties and answered any question I had about the company. Rhett was very informative and knowledgeable about the company and about solar energy. He was very polite and made the experience very pleasant.

We had been considering solar for several years. Daniel S met with us and reviewed the setup. Danny and his crew installed in one day, quite a feat considering our steep pitched roof. They worked hard to get the net meter installed a few weeks later from excel energy. We bought the system outright. I have not received an energy bill yet, but am anxious to see how it will impact my bill. Everyone has kept me up to date with every aspect of the install. Overall, they did a great job!

The company is clean effective fast and the product is top of the line this is my second house I had blue raven solar installed onto. I produce way over what I expected in power with this Utah sunshine and they are paying the bill for awhile as well. With blue raven you OWN your panels its not a lease system. And the things can take a baseball to the face and not crack.

Ian, my sales consultant; Jessica, my project coordinator, and everyone who participated in installing the system were great partners. The quality of the system has been great so far, and I look forward to having the system produce as much energy as SunPower promised all the way through. I have no complaints yet with this new concept of solar energy. All my questions were answered at the initial meetings before I signed up and it all looked positive and uplifting for the future. The only thing that would have stopped me was the big price tag for it but when the sales rep said they would provide the help in the payment process in the beginning , I was in. The installation of the panels and hook-ups had some schedule problems with the city, vendors and contractors but it went live without a problem. The check payment in the first year for the loan came every month and I was able to send the payment to the loan company. The past 6-8 month I have been receiving a credit amount from the pge account and haven't paid any bills till today. Now I feel this program is benefiting on my behalf. Hoorah! Thank you for your input regarding the progress after one year. Very encouraging that I did the right thing.

I had been looking into Solar option in North Carolina for a few months. Moved into a new construction, with south facing rear, so it seemed like a good fit. Blue Raven reached out, come by, sat down with wife and myself, explained the whole process. It was just installed yesterday. They have been in constant communication keeping myself and the wife in the loop and letting us know what time frame to expect (need to get approvals). The crew showed up yesterday (on time) and were done on time. Very courteous and did not interfere with the household flow.

There were a lot of companies to choose from when it comes to solar, but SunPower is one of the best. Their prices are good, they have one of the best equipment, and they don’t try to sell you things that you don’t need. Their service is good, from sales to installation. They also have a 25-year warranty on their panels. If you need anything, such as additional panels, they will work with you. I recommend them.

Hello....back in May and April I wrote negative comments about Sunpower. We had our system installed last Feb of 2019. We were on our 15th week of waiting for our interconnection. We had some other issues as well. This was very frustrating. I did try reaching out to costumer service through email but was unsuccessful. I did receive a call and email from a Sunpower representative after my last 2 posts on this site. She was very helpful and solved the issues we were experiencing. As of June 6, we were finally connected and our system is up and running. We dont regret getting Sunpower. It was the long process that it took. We love our solar system. Thank you Erica from Sunpower for all your help.

Our experience with Sunpower has been great. Burgess and Ken were helpful and thorough from start to finish and made sure everything was right. The estimate was impressive and clear, and the work has been all top-notch. The Sunpower panels are the best available, with the highest efficiency and longevity ratings. We had them fold a re-roof into the job, and this was done for a super reasonable rate as well, and the roofing co, Above All Roofing, did a great job too. Couldn’t be happier with the new system!

Working with SunPower has been wonderful experience, so far. They explained all phases of the processes of getting solar installed and its operation. Since I have only been "live" for about a couple of months and will have to see how reliable the product and customer service is, if needed. My SunPower reps have been very helpful in answering all questions I have had. In the coming months I will see how much of a cost savings I will get from my electric bill. The app to monitor the system is pretty cool, I have not had any issues with it. I have not started getting billed in regards to the loan (I purchased my system), so we will see how it goes. Finally my only concern is the applying for the "tax credits" to be received from federal, state and city for the installation of solar on my house, since it has to done when taxes are filed.

Going solar for my home took longer than expected. However this was not SunPower’s fault. Even though the process took about a year and many of my neighbors took about 2 months. I am very happy that I have gone solar. The level of experience throughout the process was key. Had the representatives not been transparent, I would have had given up hope. I want to thank the sunpower team for their quality of work and product to help me save money in the long run.

As far as the initial interface with the sales rep and then with the installation of the system, all went extremely well; I was very satisfied. The aftermath of interactions with Sunpower has been a bumpy road: failed transmission of data from panels to computer, unhelpful interface with someone from the billing office, a bill for $1500.00 instead of one for $150.00, an incomplete monthly report on generation and use of KWHs. I can only hope that things will improve. My go-to person throughout, Roger M, has been reliably helpful and understanding.

I have had my panels on for over 2 years now. They did the installation quickly and helped us jump through the hoops but when I went on the roof from the front side I noticed they bent in my rain gutter on the front. A picture taken and sent to the salesman. I never did get a response. I also talked to them about the amount of production as I live in an area where I just wanted a push for my overall electric bill with no excess back to the power company. We have not had a push year to date. I spoke with them some time back and they said the # of panels that were put up were sufficient - not really as we still pay to the utility every month. One thing I would like to mention is that I haven't talked to them again for a while on this issue. On other issues such as the Dashboard they put me on seems to be fine. I did have more than one company come and bid the job and they did the best job for us.

I actually contacted an installer, Vinyasun, in my area to install panels, & they recommended & installed SunPower panels. Permitting takes a while here, but once obtained they installed w/in the next days & in a matter of hours. All workers were polite & cleaned up well. I liked the panels & am having them installed on a house in Texas, too. They look really good & produce really well.

From the beginning to the end, Blue Raven was transparent, helpful, and even fun (yes, I said it!) to work with. The salesman was very passionate and explained the options and process very clearly. It only took 8 weeks from signing to installation and the crews were through in one day. My system is producing more than what they guaranteed and my husband and I have another 12 months of free power as part of their seasonal promotion. Could not recommend Blue Raven enough.

I wrote a bad review a few months ago regarding customer service and how my system was not fixed even after 9 months. After 10 months my system finally is fixed. The next question was how they were going to compensate me for all of the power I lost. To make a long story short, their calculation of the amount of power I lost was basically the same as what I calculated. Then, they went ahead and paid per kWh as close as possible to what I had to pay. So in the end, I felt like they paid my losses in their entirety. I was pleasantly surprised. In terms of honoring their guarantee/warranty I will have to give them 5 stars. The final customer service person I worked with was also great. They did everything right in the end. I just hope the next time I have to deal with them they can do things right from the beginning in a timely manner.

This is a follow-up to a previous review. Once again I want to say my overall experience with Blue Raven is generally positive except for the two issues I have reviewed. When discussing solar options with Blue Raven representatives I expressed a desire to have little or no electric bill after solar panel installation. I was told that 14 panels were all my roof would accommodate. I have since spoken to a neighbor with the same model home (Hamilton model by Ivory builders). He has over 30 panels installed and has virtually no electric bill, while my bill is $132.00 per month. I was willing to pay for more panels had I been told I could do so. Perhaps an additional number of panels could be installed without an exorbitant cost?

Our design team will opt to not put panels in unproductive areas seeing as they won't return your investment. With different directions or unique obstructions (trees or neighboring homes), the available panel placement will vary. The customer experience and quality of our solar system with Blue Raven exceeded my expectations. We met with 3 other solar companies before making our decision. We are saving a lot of money every month and we received the federal tax credits to pay down our system! Our neighbor went with a different company and he always tells me he wishes he had gone with Blue Raven. The black on black panels and interior conduit look so good compared to other systems we see on people’s roof! Highly recommend Blue Raven Solar!

I purchased a SunPower system for BizTalkRadio. We are solar powered radio network. I production often exceeds our usage. I can tell you that Solar really works in a business environment. The accelerated depreciation helped us achieve payback in a short time frame. Our flat roof gave us a very efficient layout. If you are going solar in your business you won't be disappointed with SunPower. Come by our shop and check it out.

Very happy with Sunpower solar panels and the installation by Freedom Solar. Our entire electricity bill for the first full 12 months with solar panels was only $199...that's for the entire year, not monthly. And we live in Texas! In a 3700 square foot two story house. Both Sunpower and Freedom Solar have been very responsive to any minor issues and updates to the system. Couldn't be happier and highly recommend both companies!

I selected SunPower because their panels were the highest rated for electric generation. I've had the system since September 2009. I've experienced no problems with the system to date. I didn't pay an electric bill until the last couple years (since installation, the lowest electric rates have almost doubled and the utility added grid charges). Even with that the yearly bill has been much less than what I used to pay in one month.

Sirs, I installed my SunPower 10-panel system in December 2010 and it has produced power continuously and steadily since that time. What has failed at least three times is the reporting system that lets me know how much power the system is producing. There is no alert or email reporting system (that I am aware of) that lets the customer know when this outage occurs other than going to the Sunpower Dashboard online and seeing that the reporting system is faulty. I do not view the dashboard on a frequent basis, so it can be months before I discover that the reporting system has failed. I would like to receive a timely email or text saying that the reporting system has failed. The second problem (that I am currently addressing with Revolusun), is that my power delivered to Hawaiian Electric (HECO) seems to have dropped in the last two months. My power delivery to HECO has been consistent and steady since system installation at the above date. I put in a trouble call to Revolusun on 9/21/18 and did not receive a return call. I then placed a follow-up call on 9/27/18 but also have not received a return call to assist me in troubleshooting the problem. Revolusun/SunPower should support its product a bit better. Thank you.

I have had no problems with SunPower and I leased it on my first house and am now buying the system on my new house. Reading the comments it appears the local installing Company appears to be the main problem. So I would suggest you take the time to investigate the installing company buy contacting you local electric company Solar representative. My installing company in Lake Havasu City AZ is Esmay Electric Company.

I agree with James, the panels are not the problem, the panels produce more power than most other panels. I moved into a brand new home in Murrieta Ca, 4 months ago once Edison gave sun power the permission to activate the system it took the local company that installed the equipment several attempts to do so, finally after many calls the system was activated, by 10 am in producing 2 kWh by noon its 3 kWh by 1 pm in rocking 3.5 or better until 5 pm then it drops to about 3 kWh. My electric bill this month was $ 3.00 dollars that’s only because I didn’t have a full month of usage, also when I use the air conditioner I look at the meter and I’m still sending power to the grid, so far I’m a happy camper
