I just had solar installed and I am so thrilled with Todd N. and Blue Raven Solar. They took such good care of me from start to finish. Todd answered all my questions and was super responsive. The Blue Raven install team was stellar, quick and did a thorough job. Communication was top notch throughout the whole process. I would recommend Todd N. and Blue Raven solar to ANYBODY! Thank you Todd and Blue Raven for helping me go solar, save a ton of money and help our planet! You all are the best!!

Responsive to all my phone calls with knowledgeable answers to all my questions. Kept every apointment for house electrical system up grade and installation. They were very responsive to my request to delay installation one week. Istallation crew was professional knew just what to do and finished it rapidly cleaning up everything when finished. No offensive language was ever used.

The whole process was seamless. I contacted 3 solar companies and finally settled with Sunpower. DeAnn Y of Sunpower by The Solar Quote made a flawless presentation. She was very knowledgeable and very detailed. She designed a system with using the A series 415 watts panel. The installation was clean and completed in one day. The system is working very well. I am happy with the whole process. I will definitely recommend Sunpower. With an agent like DeAnn, you are in safe hands.

So far so good. This was a huge step for my family and I, but the sales and installation team has made the process smooth and painless. I love the modern look that it adds to our home while also going green. I'll write another review in a month or so to let you guys know how well the system holds up, but for now, the customer service was great and the installers were prompt, clean, and very professional.

I was having trouble accessing my monitoring system. I called SunPower and Sandra answered the call. She was very polite, understanding,professional and knowledgeable. She walked me through the steps to recover my account access.She was very patient with me, as I'm not very knowledgeable of computers. This experience wasn't stressful, it was very pleasant thanks to her. I would hope that if anyone has question or problem that they would be assisted by her.

This group has been great to work with. Our salesman, Chris was great!
He went above and beyond, got us great financing and even had dinner with us. The whole team has been ahead of schedule, with great communication from everyone. The install crew...AMAZING. They arrived right on time at 7am and were completed with everything by noon. Do not get solar from anyone else than Blue Raven Solar. They're the bomb.com!

The installation crew was absolutely wonderful. They answered all our questions and "bent over backwards" to make sure the installation was perfect. I particularly want to praise Henry. The only drawback to the whole process was seeming lack of communication in the office. No one told the installers that they would have to remove my solar hot water panels as part of the installation process (this was included in the contract). Removal of these panels and repair of the roof resulting from that removal delayed the installation a full day. The morning of the installation of the PV panels I received a phone call saying that the paperwork needed to initiate the inspection process had, inadvertently, been delayed in delivery and the scheduled inspection had to be moved out. Then, while the installers were just putting on the mounting brackets, I received an email saying that the installation was completed had passed inspection! After I replied noting the error I received a phone call apologizing for this error. Later I received an email saying the inspection would take place on the following day - the day that, just that morning, had been rescheduled a few weeks out. I replied noting the error. I received another email apologizing again saying the later inspection date had been entered in the system but that the original date had not been removed.
The bottom line here is that the sales people and especially the installation crew are just amazing and can't be given enough praise, but the operations at the office leave something to be desired.

Blue Raven folks were courteous, professional, and informative from start to finish. Don explained financial and system details thoroughly. The company took care of all requirements -- recommending an excellent roofing contractor, getting permits, HOA approval, and installation of the system. They kept us informed of status via email throughout. The installers were professional, quick, and very helpful explaining all the system including setup of new smart thermostats. They also were diligent in cleaning up after. We will gladly refer others to this team.

Sales, Mike F was excellent. He stayed involved through the entire process as we had some issues where the home builder had not pre-wired our home for solar. Instead of waiting for the builder to do it correctly, Blue Raven did it themselves. They had extremely knowledgeable, skilled professionals install our system. In reading the very few bad reviews, Blue Raven reaches out and makes the situation right. Our system is not up and running yet, until electric company and inspection is completed, but I am confident if there are any issues, they will stand by their work. Highly recommended.

People were kind, and informational. The set up was quick, and the installation was clean, and they did an excellent job making the panels part of my roof rather than an eye sore. I would use them again and have recommended them to others. (just to mention the 9 star below: I never give a 10 because somewhere somehow there is always someone that might impress me more. However BRS will be hard to beat).

We have had the system installed for 6 months now. We are enjoying the benefits of a shrinking power bill!! The federal tax incentive and local incentive made this a no brainer. Plus it’s a really good thing for the environment. We were able to refinance the house after the panels were installed and they valued the system more than we paid for it! First off my system just completed the city inspection so it is not turned on currently. However, our sales rep Tyler was amazing answering all of our questions and helping us out whenever needed. The installation was even more amazing! Spent time and quality installing system and even knocked down two hornets nest when asked to. These three guys were rockstars! Provided tips and insight to get the most out of our system. Can’t wait to turn on and go fully solar!

So far so good with the installation, they did show up 45 minutes early which I was not expecting but the installation was done in the time frame they had mentioned, the electrical boxes how ever took quite a bit longer, between three three and a half hours longer, I will not know if there are any problems or issues for a while because of the virus I cannot get any kind of inspection done until the City reopens so I may write more of a review after that process and I have a chance to see if everything is working correctly. But the installation was done in the time frame and so far so good?

Excellent service from the beginning of the process to the end! 100% recommend Blue Raven Solar. Very friendly, professional staff.
The in-home consultation was thorough yet the sales team was not pushy at all. They presented the numbers and facts and allowed us to make a decision.
The installation team was quick and efficient even despite the fickle weather we had that day.
Communication on all ends was great as well throughout the process.

Three installers arrived on time and started right away and loading in early morning of scheduled day and worked nonstop till finished at expected time mid afternoon.
Team lead was exceptionally courteous and kept me informed through out the day of their status including a change in lay out that is expected to produce a higher output and an over view before leaving of all that was done with pictures of the installed panels on the roof.
The only major negative part occurred at the end when view in the install finding out that the panel outside curbing to enclose the panels had NOT been included in the shipment.
Due to squirrels running on the roof and leaves from neighbors trees falling all over my roof I had specifically mentioned to the Sales representative that I would NOT be able to have panels if they were not enclosed as I did not want squirrels running under them or to have piles of leaves stuck under the panels on my roof. The sales representative had ensured me that enclosing the panels was included in the install.
After a few phone calls they were able to send Blue Raven and Idaho power to finish the install of the critter guards and activate the system.

It has been over a year since we had Mike F with Blue Raven Solar install our system and I am just impressed today as I was excited the day it was installed. I continue to tell my neighbors how excited I am that we have no electric bill. Understanding based on roof availability and people's usage not everyone can have a $0 electric bill, but I would take whatever discount I could take. So if you want the possibility of a $0 electric bill, I recommend Mike F with Blue Raven Solar.

Everything with Blue Raven Solar was amazing, start to finish. The process was super smooth and the installation took just a few hours. The panels are stylish and there are no visible wires that make the roof look ugly! Their staff are very knowledgeable and everyone is super friendly. My new SunPower system has been up and running for a week... My installation and certification went well and I'm pleased with the professionalism of my installer.
I can watch my power meter running backward and am extremely pleased with the performance that I am seeing. As the year progresses, the sun's path should be more directly overhead and it appears that the panels will be producing very near what they are spec'd for.
On the other hand, I'm surprised by the intermittent behavior of their monitoring application and web site. I'd be interested in hearing from other SunPower owners about your experiences with their monitoring tools.
Because my SunPower monitoring system is directly connected to Internet through a high-speed / reliable connection, I expected a much more responsive (real-time) view of the systems output.
On a positive note, at the end of the day, all information about the system's performance appears to be present; I can see a graph of exactly what was produced throughout the day...so I'm not missing any information.
The responsiveness of the system appears to vary over the course of the day; sometimes the data is presented quickly, other times it can take minutes for the user interface to refresh.
What I also see is that the reported data is delayed up to an hour. Is this what others are seeing? Is this the expected behavior?
Again, please let me know if others are seeing what I'm seeing or it's just my installation.

A digression:
As an Embedded Software (IoT) engineer who designs monitoring systems like this for a living...I have seen this type of "intermittent failure under load" behavior before; which includes the unexpected loss and/or corruption of data. If
anyone from SunPower is listening... I offer my consulting services to you for free...
I know what could likely be causing this and can probably find and fix it for you in a few days. Again, since I own a SunPower system, I want to help. The responsiveness of the monitoring tools should be able to be greatly improved over how they currently work.

Bill, Salesman, was very professional and is very knowledgeable of the product. He wasn't pushy for us to buy at the moment and wanted us to do our research before making our final decision. After, further review of 3 competitors of there's within the same ratings, we decided to go with their competitor. Not for better quality, nor the price as they were in the same price range (give or take $1000), we went with the one that offered an additional incentive aside from the tax credit. Not taking anything away but they were our second choice.

In addition, I want to give the installation guys on Boise ID Crew 2 Phenomenal accolades! Taylor, Braden and Dilian hit the ground running, and never stopped until the job was done! They were all professional, knowledgeable and their work ethic was impeccable! If the solar system works as good as these guys, I will be a 110% satisfied! Everyone at Blue Raven has been so personable from the salesperson to the guys in the field. Super surprised that we really didn’t have to lift a finger - Blue Raven contacted our HOA, the city, and the actual install was very timely. Seeing an eventual end to a power bill by some-day owning your own power is something to look forward to. Going to a renewable source of energy won’t save the world but it’ll help.

Sales and install and communication has been top-notch. The installers knocked it out in one day and you'd never know they were here by judging their clean-up...fantastic! We're excited about going solar. Salesman, Charles E was terrific. He really listened to us and didn't push, which would've turned me off. Great products and price. Excellent service. I just completed 1 year since my solar installation went live and the system has been working fantastic and till now there have been no issues. Their mobile application is very good and gives all the details one would like to keep an eye on. Customer service has been excellent with lovely staff. I am very happy I went with them.

Our rep, Tyler, helped make sure everything was great and perfect from day 1. Mark, Cory and Cole installed our system. They were incredible. They were kind, respectful and very professional. They explained things so we could understand. And made sure we were happy with everything. I feel like they were very honest. They got the job dinne quickly. They offer a lot of supports such as people calling to help us understand the trax credits.. people calling and letting us know of the option to combine our mortgage loan and solar loan together. They weren't pushy. Many of our friends used them and were satisfied also. We also liked this company because you can pay them off as soon as you wish without a penalty. The other company we looked at only let you make a one time lump sum payment.

This company is easy to work with they took care of all the requirements and permits...we did very little... they scheduled 2 days for the install and they were done with the install bu 1:30 on the first day, the guys were soooooo nice and knowledgeable... we are now waiting for the county inspector and the utility company to install the new elect meter. Then we will be producing some of our own electricity..... YAAy

Blue Raven is AWESOME from Salesmen to Installation you are kept up to date throughout the entire process. They pulled the required permits with the city offered me a huge tax break as well as a deal I couldn’t say no to. Everyone I worked with was courteous, knowledgeable and professional.

Our consultant, John, was very helpful and a good voice for us with the company. The company's service was prompt and thorough. They took care of everything for us- we never had to talk with anyone from the city or electric company. Our consultant and the company took care of all of the details very well.
The install crew was very professional and efficient. Survived pouring rain and did the whole install in about 8 hours- including a trip to town for dry clothes at lunch! Cleaned up the job site very well.

I had several last minute questions for the people in the office of Blue Raven prior to installation of my panels regarding how they would appear from the street. The support person was very helpful in locating information that addressed my questions.
My appointment was scheduled for 7 - 7:30 on a Friday and I was ready the materials arrived at that time. One of the installers called me to let me know they would show up closer to 9 because of where they were coming from. They got the job done early and were informative about the steps of the process. My appointment was scheduled for 7 a.m. on a Sunday and I was ready for it but thought that was kind of early. One of the installers called me to let me know they would show up closer to 9 to get started just to keep the noise down for a little bit which I was grateful for and they still got the job done on time and efficiently. Renova has been incredible from the install in November 2018

I was skeptical at first because it sounded too good to be true but the entire Blue Raven team, including the finance company and the installers were amazing. They came to my house and explained everything in so much detail and they answered all of my questions. After all of the explanation it was really a no brainer, everybody should switch to solar energy. I am very satisfied and thankful that we made the choice to go solar and Blue Raven was the best!

From sales to installation this was a top notch company. The survey indicated I needed a new roof and Bam! They connected me with a company that was awesome and coupled roof and panels into one finance arrangement. I can’t say enough about the professionalism and thoroughness of both roofing and solar installers. I would definitely recommend this company for any solar need. No problems at all with installation or inspection.

I've couldn't have got solar at a better time perfect situation was there for me and it worked out too, I've actually paid off my panels and the production has been awesome throughout the 18 months and moving forward as well. I also have been encouraging others to go solar and hope that the whole understands this is the greatest thing moving forward in the future.

Great product, great service, bad sales job.
Blue Raven did not sell me the amount of panels I wanted or needed. When I figured out that I was not producing 100% or even 90% of my usage... more like 80% I called Blue Raven and told them I was dissatisfied with this. I was told by a Blue Raven customer service rep that I was producing exactly what the contract said I was supposed to produce. I told them that’s not what I was dissatisfied about. I told him I was dissatisfied with their kWh estimation. The customer service rep then told me they estimated that there would be a 20% saving with the Ecobee thermostat and switching to all LED lights so that’s how they came up with the amount of panels I would need. Guess what? Now I am producing 80% of the power I need. Excel Energy allows me to have enough panels for 106% power usage estimate. If that’s what I am allowed then that is what I wanted! What if I wanted to get an EV in the future. What about adding lighting. That 106% would have allowed for power usage growth. I had another company give an estimate which was 13kWh system vs. Blue Raven’s 10kWh system I had installed. The sales guy said the other company was trying to up sell a system I didn’t need. Wrong, if I had a 13kWh system I would be producing 100% of what I needed! Don’t be cute Blue Raven, give you customer what they want. They didn’t explain clearly enough how they came up with the estimate. Now I’m gonna have to have you guys back out here to complete the system I should have had in the 1st place!

Sorry about any confusion, the energy reduction numbers for using the ecobee thermostat comes directly from Ecobee's own data, but it's energy-reducing power depends heavily on the way the thermostat is used. We can certainly look into adding a few additional panels onto your home, please reach out to support to get that started!

Blue Raven Solar has been a fantastic company to work with. Everything from their sale representative, customer service and installers, they have all been pleasant and quite easy to work with throughout the whole process of going solar. The complete setup was easy -- from figuring out the best position for the panels, connecting with the energy company, and even following up on tax benefits -- Blue Raven Solar was there the entire time with fast and most importantly accurate responses.
This has been the best investment of my home buyer experience --- in the past year, I've yet to pay total what I've paid in just one monthly electric bill.

I made contact with a Blue Raven representative in September 2019. He thoroughly explained the process to me without any pressure to buy. Even though, the person who does the initial inspection didn’t work on the weekend, the company accommodated me and I was able to get the inspection on a Saturday. After I had the initial inspection, I was given three days to think things over. I was kept in the loop every step of the day. There was no out of pocket expense for me. I had my panels installed today. The installer was on time and worked efficiently and cleaned up afterwards.

We had Blue Raven Solar install our solar panels last week. They started on a bright sunny day, a little later in the day then they expected, so they didn't accomplish the entire job. The following day, it rarely even rains in Nevada, but it poured, the team was out there in their rain gear early in the morning to make sure our panel installation was complete by the end of the day. They just had to come back the next morning to clean up a bit and make sure everything looked great. We would said that was dedicated at its best. The team did a fantastic job, thank you to them all.
