425watt panels x20 for a 8.5kw system All paperwork was done online including the financing. All went through perfectly and was explained beforehand. Did not beat winter however so install was delayed to late Feb 2023. Install crew were fantastic and were done installing the 20 panels on my roof under 6hrs. Electrician came out the next day. The electricians were great, answered my questions and even tolerated me changing my mind on where to install the equipment. System failed activation the 1st time by Ameren for a "Rate Limit Failure"...it produced too much power too quickly. Yeah, it is a new guideline that SunPower did not know of, they sent a tech out to provision the equipment with the proper limit within a couple of days. Then I had to wait on Ameren again. Passed the 2nd inspection by Ameren on March 10, 2023 and has been producing as it should. At this point, I have nothing bad to report on the system, or the company.

Our experience has been great. All that they promised has been delivered. I did my research before going with Blue Raven they offered the best type of solar panels for my home. The longest part has been waiting on electric company to switch out the meter and having to figure out why it wouldn’t connect to the system, Once I contacted Blue Raven they had a person on it asap. Blue Raven has their own employees and install all the equipment, so no third parties to deal with and by far had the best interest rates for financing. Every time I had a question someone would call & or text giving name and phone number to take care of the issue. I'm glad we picked them. If anything changes I will come back with updates.

I no longer pay $600+ monthly thanks to SunPower. My monthly bill is now $50 or less. Since installation (20 months), my SunPower system has generated 36,258 kWh. I enhanced installation with 2 Tesla Powerwalls. My savings does not include charging my EV twice weekly ($140 saved). I almost forgot to mention that my neighbor asked how my house was being powered since the grid went down. He was confused because he also has pv but neglected to get backup batteries. PV without backup batteries will lower your electric bill. Once the grid goes down only backup batteries will keep your house powdered.

The day before install it rained and snowed so I had my doughts install would occur and I figured a reschedule would and I was OK with it, but I moved my car to the street just in case. Turns out they showed up and than a trailer hauling my equipment showed up. I had mentioned to the driver they could drive onto my driveway and leave the equipment there so it wouldent be om the street but they said it would be fine. Well the moment the pallet touched the ground it went flying and hit my bumper. The company transporting the equipment was great, they offered to paint and refinish it at no cost, but it turned out the bumper had more damage than expected which resulted in me needing a new bumper which I had to front some money on my end to get fixed. Luckily BRS was made aware of the issue and paid for the expense. All in all, given the the rough situation, the way they handled install and the way they handled this unfortunate outcome really makes me happy to have gone with them as I know any other solar company wouldent have cared, and this instances do matter no matter how big or small the issue. Thank you again, will recommend you, and use you again when I purchase another home!

I decided to go solar back in November of 2022 based on recommendations from both of my next-door neighbors, both went with SunPower. I decided to go with a solar lease which required NO upfront costs to me. I was contacted by Lincoln P of EnergyPal, he was my go-to person and acted as a go between with SunPower. Kevin K, was my project coordinator with SunPower. When I started the solar installation process it was my understanding, from conversations with my neighbors and Mr. P, that it would take several months to complete. I had resigned myself to the fact that it was going to take a long time to get my solar power system up and running. This was not the case! I wanted to present a detailed timeline to show how quickly my solar installation went. It was, in a word, unbelievable! November 3rd I received my very first email from Mr. P. November 4th I received my solar proposal from SunPower and my application was approved the same day. November 8th the site survey was completed. November 12th the solar site design began. November 18th the permitting was initiated. I wanted to point out that before installation, during the site survey, a leak in my roof was identified by the Sunpower site survey employee. I knew about the leak. Whenever it rained one of my second-floor bedrooms sustained more water damage. Sunpower repaired the leak, at no cost to me, so that the installation could proceed as scheduled. Undoubtedly this saved me quite a bit of money, had I repaired it myself. December 2nd I received a call from SunPower to let me know the installation was scheduled for Monday, December 5th! So in one month, I went from my first contact with EnergyPal / Sunpower to the installation of my 34 solar panels. December 7th the installation was completed. December 8th my county inspection of the system was scheduled. Just so you don't think there were any problems, the inspection had to be canceled/rescheduled as the solar circuit box was incomplete. December 13th the final inspection was completed and signed off. I was told that Permission to Operate (PTO) would take several weeks to obtain from SCE (Edison). December 26th I received PTO from SCE. December 29th my solar system went online! Fifty-six days after my first contact with EnergyPal / SunPower. As a result, I will benefit from NEM 2.0! Without help from Mr. Lincoln P and Mr. Kevin K, I'm certain I'd still be waiting to realize my solar savings. I wanted to thank both, and highly recommend that should you decide to go solar, that you ask for Mr. Lincoln P of EnergyPal and Mr. Kevin K of SunPower to help you, you won't be sorry.

So far my experience with Blue Raven Solar has been stellar! To begin with, their sales rep, Justin Cox, was a pleasure to work with. He was very personable and knowledgeable. We had a couple of sessions to review proposals and talk about expectations before we were both satisfied with the end product. Once the proposal was finalized the Blue Raven team went to work on permitting and scheduling. That process went smoothly as far as I could tell. When I spoke with the county on another matter I shared with them information on my solar project and was pleased to hear them comment that Blue Raven was one of the best solar system providers they had dealt with! On the appointed day for our installation there were two pallets of materials dropped off at the curb around 7:00 am - precisely as I had been told to expect. At daybreak my installation crew showed up. Jay, Chance, and Toby started right in laying out the equipment and preparing the site for installation. This crew wasted no time and did not cut any corners. We had a beautiful day and they were determined to make the best of it! By the end of the day all of the panels were up and trimmed, the wiring was run, and the electrical panels and interfaces were in place! The job site (my yard and driveway) were left absolutely spotless. There were a couple of final connections, a system software update, and system run tests that needed to be taken care of the next day and Jay and Chance showed up as promised to finish up. The next step in the process will be a state inspection and approval. That got scheduled for the next day and if all goes well, Idaho Power will be out in a matter of days to install a new net meter, run their system and connection tests, and throw the final switch to energize the system. I am extremely pleased as Blue Raven has met and exceeded my expectations. I have no doubt that the system will also perform as expected or better. I have no concerns about future support if required.

We have had a great experience with Blue Raven from the beginning— from our sales rep, Greg M to the crew that installed the solar, Ricky, and the master electrician, Daxton. Ricky was the installation crew boss and he was so on top of things. He let us know every step of the process as to where they were. He informed us of any hiccups and how it would be taken care of. For example, he had to do some structural work in our attic because the beams were uneven and wouldn’t hold the solar panels correctly. While in our attic he found a potentially dangerous situation with an outlet pipe. He took a picture and sent it to us so we could get it repaired. The crew stayed until after 6 pm to finish the job. The crew was considerate, hard working, and professional. The master electrician, Daxton, stayed until after dark to complete his part and explained what was done and what would happen next with the city. It was a great experience and I would recommend them.

Blue Raven Solar review. The solar panel installation process of adding the panels to the roof and the electrical components to the house electrical system took about six to seven hours, that was the expected time frame. The installation teams for Jordan and Dexter, worked well together; solar panels installers, mechanical team and the electrician. The entire team were professional and respectful to the family during the installation process. Also, they answered our questions during the process. The construction and waste material was cleaned up during and after the installation was completed. We are very pleased with the team and the installation process.

So far the installation has been great. They came over installed yesterday with no problems. They communicated with me and was great at cleaning up after. Still do not have them on as we are still waiting for inspection from the power company and final inspection from the city but so far so good. Thank you to Dexter who was great on showing me how to power on and off the box and great at answering all my questions And thank you to Jordan's team who was quick and efficient on installing keeping me updated on the process and answering my questions. (Except I forgot to ask why I have a bunch of light bulbs lol im sure they told me and i dont remember) Hopefully our solar will be up and fully running soon

Installation and Inspection Review: This is a review of the installation and inspection process. After anxiously awaiting the installation of our system (which was delayed due to city permitting taking a long time) the crew arrived on time in the morning. I met with each member of the team and showed them the access to the attic, electric panel and service. From that point on it was just a matter of them completing the install (22 panels) which was completed around mid-afternoon. The team members were all very nice I have absolutely no complaints about them or their work. They cleaned up after themselves and there was no evidence of them being here other than the beautiful new arrays on my roof! I apologize for not remembering everyone's name, but I know that Patrick and Dakota were two of the team members. From a corporate standpoint I wish that Blue Raven would have given each team member Blue Raven Logo t-shirts that would have shown clearly that these are in fact Blue Raven Certified installers. The next day I was contacted to schedule the inspection for two days later (only 3 days after the installation!) which I was thrilled about. Jacob (Jake) was the Blue Raven operations tech who worked with the city inspector. Jake arrived early to confirm the installation and have everything prepped for the inspector. He was very diligent in helping me to understand my system and what to expect next. He took extra time to answer all of my questions and was great to work with! Overall, every associate with Blue Raven that I have worked with from initial knock on my door until now has been a pleasure to speak with. While I give the process so far 5 stars, I considered going less only because there is no regular communication on status of the approval process prior to install. I really wish that there was a Blue Raven app that I could log into to see the status of my project with details on what is happening and what steps are next and what I should expect, actions I need to take, etc. As it was the only way that I knew what was going on after signing the contract was to reach out to our sales person and ask what the status was. I really expected more of a transparent process which I wanted to share with my family and neighbors. I really think that if there was an app that I could show them, it would have been instrumental in getting them to trust Blue Raven and sign up as well. My next steps? Wait for the power company to swap out my meter with one compliant for solar production, get a final inspection from Jake, and ready to start producing power and saving money. I look at it like this - if I were to tell you that you don't have to do anything about how you use electricity, and I am going to give you money each month just to continue life as normal... would you do it? Of course you would and that is why I did and eventually why most will.

Blue Raven made the process of going solar at our home quick and easy. Our representative, Matt, explained the process in detail, helped us with all the paperwork and worked with the county to get us permitted. The 25-year warranty was a definite plus. An inspection was done by Brian at Blue Raven of our roof, attic area and electrical panel ahead of the installation so that all would proceed properly. The permitting process went quickly in our county. Blue Raven's install crew led by Juan was efficient and the final product looks great. This was especially important as the panels were installed on the front of our roof. We look forward now to final inspections and then to producing our own electrical power.

Devon, Royal and Jose were punctual, polite, and answered all my questions. Unfortunately they were unable to complete the installation due to no fault of their own: the delivery of materials was incomplete and necessary items were still in Dallas, Texas. Also the new thermostat was not able to be installed. Jose said Blue Raven would have to send an HVAC Tech out to install the thermostat. (It had special wiring needs.) The install completion will be done either Friday afternoon or Saturday (today is Wednesday) when the materials come in from Dallas. Next an County inspector will look at everything. Next Duke Electric will come out and switch out the meter. Finally my sales guy Sean N will come out and walk me through the system and throw the master switch. Jose said I would not have to be present for the installation to be completed.

I'm sure I was a difficult sale. I'll say that from the beginning. I pushed back and questioned the sales rep (Izz) about the products. Izz even had to send me a couple additional quotes for things after our first meeting. Izz was great though, and answered all my questions and concerns. Blue Raven worked with our HOA and county to get approvals for the project. We did not have to do anything! Super easy and convenient! The installation was FAST! Not even a full day to install the panels and connect two new thermostats! If you are looking for a solar company, check out Blue Raven. They have excellent reviews from experts as well as customers. Get a quote and see how they compare. Remember, you haven't bought anything until you sign on the dotted line. I'm glad I did. Now if only we can figure out sustainable and renewable water....

Blue Raven was great the entire time they were at my house. The gentlemen worked extremely hard in the hot sun making sure they completed the job as well as they could. Their captain, Stanton, gave me a call the afternoon before and made good on their arrival time. He was very kind, well spoken, and patient with me as he showed me the plans and discussed what all was involved with the installation. Even when it came to what was needing to be done in the attic. He and his team worked very well together. Whenever they spoke it was always positive, mild, and laughing usually. Never negative, mean, nor any use of curse words. Didn’t have any loud music or anything but it they were consistently working. They finished in just a few hours. Stanton and his team were very precise in making sure the panels they installed matched with the plans he had shown me that morning. He even took pictures and showed me the panels that I could not see from the ground. Those were also a matching replica of the plans. Stanton’s team worked well and took care in cleaning up their mess once they had completed the job. Stanton and his guys did an amazing job at making sure I was taken care of, my system was installed correctly, and that there would be no leaks. A huge Thank you goes out to Stanton and his team as well as all of Blue Raven Solar

Ok...I NEVER give reviews, but I was compelled to write this one because of my experience. I interviewed 4 different Solar companies before deciding on Blue Raven, and Andrew U-J was a BIG part of that decision. He taught me everything I needed to know...+ more (LOL)...about going Solar. When interviewing other companies, they were not as forthcoming with information, even when asked, and it made me trust them less....and Andrew more. The process was painless, all I had to do was ask questions, Andrew found me financing, had my roof inspected, made sure any documents were signed and sent in, and had all my permits done. All I had to do was decide I wanted them, he did everything else. It would have gone faster had I not interviewed other companies, so I'll count from the day I made the decion to move forward to installation day was 35 days. On the day of installation, a couple guys arrived early, and started EXACTLY on time! 8am! My team, Noah. Charles, Ryan, and Jeff were all happy, excited to work, but playful and engaging. They started up some music and got right to work and the panels arrived by 8:20am! Andrew also came by to talk me through the process and help me inspect the materials to make sure they were Grade A. They let me take pictures of them and I found something amazing! There was cardboard separating the corners of the panels, on the cardboard was written different phrases, 1. A drawing of the moon, a star and a pyramid, 2. Love, Truth, Peace, Freedom, Justice and 3. 21 bricks in the pyramid...it felt very spiritual. Everything about the process was enjoyable. I was told they would be done by 5pm, but guess what!...they were done, cleaned up, packed up and pulling off at 12:00pm...so 4 hours...AMAZING!!! Thank you Andrew, Noah. Charles, Ryan, & Jeff!

My experience with Blue Raven Solar was very positive and I highly recommend them to be your solar installation company. Their knowledgeable sales force and experienced technical design team worked with me to create a solar panel system for my home and it will provide ample electricity all year long. The installation team was professional and efficient. In five hours the high quality panels were attached to my roof and connected to the breaker box. The system is ready to generate electricity and eliminate my monthly electrical bill. I now feel like I am part of the solution to dependence on fossil fuels.

From sales to installation Blue Raven has been great to work with. All my questions were answered quickly and professionally. Recently had some electrical work done and that other company wanted to replace the main panel. I asked Jonathan at Blue Raven if this was needed. He let me know that it was not and the panel was fine, he even shared the electrical plans that Blue Raven had submitted for permitting. They saved me from paying 7,000 to this other company! On the installation day the crew was on time and very knowledgeable and friendly. They worked quickly and did a wonderful job on the install. The final fit and finish looks amazing. Very happy with the results! I will be recommending them to all my friends and family.

If you need solar, you need Mat T with SunPower! Mat is an incredibly caring and loving man who truly wants to help you save money and increase the value of your home, all while helping the environment. Mat will spend hours with you on Saturday at Starbucks (like he did with me) and literally go through every aspect of solar from the loan (if you choose to go that way) right down to how heat affects the way your solar panels will work. He’s a no pressure, no nonsense guy who works for you, the customer. So far, I cannot recommend Mat and SunPower enough. I am very pleased and satisfied. Keep up the great work, Mat!

Our experience with Blue Raven Solar has been very positive. Because the company brought additional install teams into the area, our installation date was moved up by about 45 days (Blue Raven even sent a $50 check as a thank you for accommodating a next day appointment). The installation team (all on loan from out of state) was excellent and expertly mounted the panels and inverters following the installation plan previously created by the design team. We are very pleased with the appearance of the panels, as well as the wiring to the fuse box and meter. Blue Raven has been very responsive and kept us well informed throughout the process. The installation has been inspected by the city and, we are are looking forward to soon turning on the power.

Their crew showed up right after the frost left the roof of our house. They got set up to install our solar system on the roof. They sounded like a bunch of woodpeckers working up there, getting each step of the work needed to be done. Everyone had a job to do and set out to do so, some on the roof, another installing the control box for the electrical. Another was in the crawl space under the roof pulling wires to the electrical box. They were very professional in their work and did not waste any time in doing the job. They cleaned up after their work was done, everything from the roof to the ground outside the house. They were a friendly bunch of guys and explained to me all that was for me to understand.

I chose SunPower because of it high ratings and reports of its products. Of course, I had no direct contact with SunPower itself, but with the installer who offered the SunPower products. That company was Mirasol Fafco Solar. From Brian who explaned their program to me to the office staff who coordinated the installations scheduling and the men who did the actual install were carefull and detailed in their work, friendly, patient and knowledgeable. I recently had a follow up for a minor tweak I needed. Joe came out the next day and diagnosed and fixed the problem. He didn't stop there. He checked out the rest of the systems and patiently explained how the systems worked and what I needed to know about taking care of the various parts and making adjustments. I gave SunPower five stars not only for their great products, but for having the good sense to use professional installers like Mirasol.

We don’t use a lot of electricity but PG&E still sent warning letters about overuse and continued to raise my rates. Dan S and Smart Energy Brokers looked at 4 different companies and eventually I chose SUNPOWER for their quality product and all-inclusive 25-year warranty. Dan made the process simple, handling all of the paperwork and scheduling and SUNPOWER’s teams were magnificent, especially the guys who installed the system. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

I can't remember being treated any better or experiencing the excellent customer service I have in Blue Raven Solar. From start to finish everyone was on time very conscientious of the jobs they were doing and did not leave until I was happy with every aspect of what they had done. The first people I talked to were door to door. Business like, very respectful and fun to talk with, letting me know the different steps I could expect and the experience I would have. If they hadn't been I would not have signed up for the initial appointment. Taylor was the gentleman to whom I had the great pleasure in meeting with next. Every company should strive for their employees to give the excellent customer service as I experienced with Taylor. Very bussiness like, very informative as well as kind, he was compassionate about the company he worked for, the service I was to experience and Very patient while he explained everything to me until I was satisfied in knowing and understanding all the information. He also followed up with every step of the way making sure I was having an excellent experience and that all went well. He also made the whole experience fun as well, thank you Taylor. Next was the gentlemen who delivered the panels. If I hadn't needed to sign for the delivery or express if I was happy where they put the panels, I wouldn't have known they were here. Before I knew it, the installers were here. Again they were very pleasant and informative. Cleaning up after themselves and making sure I was satisfied with their work. I was, Very. All in all, including the inspections it was only a couple of months from the time I signed my contract to the time that I am now up, running and tickled pink. 5 stars is the least this company and their employees should receive. Thank you Blue Raven Solar. You are the Best!

Great care in assessing and positioning an optimal system for my historic energy consumption. I live in a large house that uses a lot of energy so my system is big and was built to 26 kV. It has designed to approximately cover most months except the hottest summer months providing about 83% of my yearly consumption. It has been in place now for going on 3 years and it has replaced 87% of my energy use. Great company, great professional install (very important this). During extreme cold days in Texas, when it was cold and clear, I was putting energy back into the grid. True it was a big outlay to get it in place. The tax credits and rebates at the time made it feasible. Now we look forward to low energy bills time forward. It is like we are living in a studio apartment and a few months, with no utility cost at all! Down the road, when we all move to electric cars I might consider expanding the system to include (some hopefully cheaper) battery backup, a few more panels, and go completely off the grid and drive for free!

From beginning to end, we had a fantastic experience with Blue Raven. Every person we worked with was extremely profession and helped us feel at ease through the whole process. They worked with the city, fire marshal, our HOA and the electric company, all while maintaining communication with my wife and I to ensure we knew exactly how to set our timeline expectations. Even when there was an delay, the Blue Rave Solar installers adjusted the install time, finalizing the process over the weekend, this is how customer service should be done. Did I mention that the panels look great, I didnt expect them to add to the house but it's much classier than I expected. Thanks Jordan and everyone else that worked with us. We love our house even more now (which is saying a lot).

A very professional woman named Yellow provided me with a great client experience. Yellow was able to explain my electric bill, how the panels work and finally how to use the dashboard to make an educated decision on when I would run all my appliances. Yellow helped to make sure I could understand all of these things and talked with me till I was comfortable in my newly gained knowledge on SunPower solar panels. Our experience overall has been great. Blue Raven is efficient and good at what they do. We spoke with Ian on June 2nd, a plan was presented to us on June 4th, and installation happened on July 9th. We had options to install sooner, but our schedule did not allow it. They guarantee their work and monitor your productivity to make sure you produce what they said you should produce. They took care of everything including submitting all the paperwork to our HOA for approval. Installation with a 2 man crew took under 5 hours and they were polite, efficient, and informative. We are currently waiting on inspections so we can turn the system on and use it. They have a loan option to allow you to go solar without down payments. The loan is carried out for as long as the warranty on the panels, and there are no penalties for paying it off before the end of the loan.

From a knowledgeable solar consultant, to good communication with the company, to a great installation team I’ve been extremely happy with this entire experience. Any question I had was answered. I asked the installation team to accommodate my kids nap schedules and they did so happily. My system has not been turned on yet as I need to pass inspection but I’m excited to start using my system. And on the note of inspection, I was so happy that this company took care of the entire permit and inspection process for me! That is my lease favorite part to handle while dealing with improvements to my property.

We went with SunPower because they had the highest rating for quality and performance and due to the limited area on our roof, their higher efficiency panels worked perfectly. We were a little nervous when the panels started producing 28% less energy than they should have produced, but after some time, SunPower stood behind their products and replaced 21 of the 25 defective microinverters and even though payment for lost power is not covered under the warranty, they came through and compensated us above and beyond what we were asking! Very impressive! So far they have proven that they do stand behind their products.

I have only good things to say about the company, especially the technicians/installers. My installation was this June 19th 2020, in Wheaton Illinois. The whole process, from notifications, delivery of materials and installation was flawless. The crew was amazing, hard working, accommodating and polite, clean in every aspect, respectful of property, punctual and neat, organized and thoughtful, great experts in what they are doing! They worked steadily, finished the job in under 8hrs, actual project executed down to a tee, could make the most picky person out there happy! Once again, amazing job Blue Raven and team!!!

My experiences with Blue Raven Solar has been good through sale to install which happened yesterday. I found the financing formula a difficult to follow, gut the sales man patiently explained until I was able to understand. I liked the little diagrams that were emailed, reporting the completion of all steps in the process. The install team was very friendly and answered my questions during the full workday. For the small amount of inside work, they were patient with my shuffling my two dogs from room to room so they would not be underfoot. Prior to each work segment I was asked about the many unique features of my home and all were were considered. (all ferro-concrete home) I have two friends who are home owners who I plan to refer to Blue Raven solar. Dottie Odrosky

The professionalism and experience demonstrated by the entire Blue Raven Team was second to none. Brandon was my point of contact right from the beginning. He came into our home and went through every step of the process before we even got started. The longest and most arduous part of the entire process was waiting for City Permitting to get their portion done. In all fairness, the City Permitting phase fell right in the middle of the Covid-19 pandemic when everyone, including our city officials, was required to stay home. Still, even then, Brandon called at least once a week to keep my wife and I informed of the progress being made. The panels went in yesterday and within hours of the installation someone from Blue Raven was calling to schedule the City Inspection. Thank you Blue Raven.

Well, our solar is up and running now, and it has been a process to get it to this point. With the uncertainty of how the utility commission was going to rule on behalf of Idaho Powers' request to change how customers were to receive credits and then the Coronavirus outbreak, the process took much longer than expected. But, even with all that said, Blue Raven maintained their professionalism. She continued working diligently towards getting our system up and going, although some things were outside their ability to control. It is way to new to know just how beneficial this will be in the long run, but we have high hopes that this system will impact our ability to control our future power bills, which averaged out to be 660.00 dollars a month. This was an extensive system of 76 panels, and the men that came to put it in were amazing. They were professional, responsive to questions, cleaned up after themselves, and very courteous of our home surroundings. I would highly recommend Blue Raven to anyone thinking of going solar. Check them out before signing a contract with anyone else we checked out three separate solar companies before deciding on Blue Raven.

When my sales guy Zach came to my door I was skeptical and was looking forward to informing any of the solar sales folks in our neighborhood all about the “facts” of why I’d have to be a moron to buy solar. Being a reasonable host I let Zach make his pitch and offered snide remarks to his information, like I said I was a skeptic. Zach told me that the energy produced was 1:1 for RMP buy/sell ratio and try to think about this as something I would own, I like owning my house and not renting it so that analogy made sense. Furthermore if electricity did some sort of spike in cost (unlikely) I’d have already paid in at a lower rate. There were more nuisance small factors that helped in the decision but we decided to hop on in. We moved on to BRS taking care of permitting and all other aspects. We financed with their preferred lender and that was smooth too. Customer service was really good, no disappointment there, even was I was calling asking for docs that had been previously sent and I lost. Now we are permitted and ready for install, crew lead Levi and his team showed on the designated morning at the time they said they’d be there. Levi was no nonsense and same for his crew. Levi explained they plan to me, likely timelines and expectations, no confusion there. The also ad hoc proposed a different configuration for the panels that would not only look better but could maybe just net a few more KwH’s. They paid attention to the small stuff like making sure conduit wasn’t all over my roof and even went as far to spray paint the panel legs so they wouldn’t stand out and be gross. Levi explained a few other tips and things to be aware of and they even finished well before the estimated time. When I see the panels it’s brings a smile to my face and that’s good since I have to see it for some time to come. Bottom line: my experience with BRS was really good. They did exactly what they said they would do and even offered helpful insight for us to get the most out of our investment. Good stuff

There are too many things that I like to mention in a simple review but here are a few highlights. First of all, a long time business associate and friend became a salesperson for the company and after having looked at several different solar companies, Blue Raven topped out with cost, financing and customer service. The next most impressive, were the crew. From the initial greeting from Mark who was most aware of his surroundings to the needs of his crew and the personal touch of making sure I knew exactly what was happening where and how, was extraordinary. Each member of the crew was dedicated, positive and exacting in the work they did. I was impressed that even as I was working other projects around the yard, if I needed a tool or object that was stored where the crew was working, they would even turn down music as I approached, acknowledge my presence and answer any and all questions or comments I may have offered. (When does that even happen with other contractors?!) Now, I don't recall the other cues mentioned for the review, but I will simply say that I have never been more happy with an install of any kind, ever in the 30+ years I have been at this address. Blue Raven has been amazing to work with for the entire process. Their customer service is hands down five star. I had all sorts of issues and they were very helpful in fixing things. For instance I had an opt-out on my meter for solar radiation and they bought a radiation guard. I had issues with the thermostat and they covered the bill to have it fixed. Also, I had two solar companies approach me during this time and none of them offered to pay the first 18 months of our energy costs. They partnered with LoanPal, which lead to me refinancing my home at a better interest rate and in 15 years. I had been in a 33 year loan through the USDA. The entire experience has been amazing! The panels look great. My energy bills are so low. I am producing so much energy! My loan payment took the place of my electrical bill.

I contacted Tesla’s Solar City in March of 2018, went through all the hoops involved, also went through Sun Badger, Solar Sun, also Blue Raven. After getting all info and thinking about the proposals, I made decision in April 2019 to go with Blue Raven! June 24of 2019 Solar Panels installed turned on Aug 6th took over a month for final Utility inspection and for the billing cycle to start from Com Ed Illinois. Month of July production and part of June and 6 days of August were Lost?? No credit to me, all went to the grid?? Be sure to find out when billing cycle starts. August bill, $35.50 this year, last year $174.00 I am happy to go green. Thank you Blue Raven Dolar.

I've had my system for 19 months. I have a small home so I was only able to purchase 1/2 of a system. The sales rep was fantastic...he also had a system so he spoke to us from personal experience. Office staff was professional and helpful. I am so glad we have Solar. I save 4 trees every month. My gas bill is more expensive than my electric now. Even in the heat of summer my electric bill is always half of what it was 19 months ago. Blue Raven has their own in house service men....many solar companies have outside people doing their work! The only thing I am not thrilled with is Loan Pal that I have the loan with.. They are ok but their loan payment statements don't show enough information..and the online is not very user friendly. With electric rates going up I am glad I have solar

I bought my new home, it's a model home. I was told everything works... but when I moved in, it was not working... along with some other hassles. Long story short, found out our solar didn't work at all and something had malfunction. SunPower sent 3 people at 3 different time to try to fix it... I literally wanted to knock one star off of this because of that... because I felt kind that wasted some of my time. When they couldn't identify the root cause, they went their way out to give me a new system. The customer service rep followed up with me constantly at every month since then to tell me the status of where things were. It is good that I don't have to call them. For this, they got their one star back. Depending on how things go once my new system arrives, we'll determine my overall review. For now, 5 stars for the constant updates.

My sales rep was well informed, professional and thorough in his energy saving information. In my experience here in Florida, solar energy is the way to go in the future. However, to have solar without a backup battery kind of defeats the purpose of still being connected to the power company. We have hurricanes, loss of power, severe storms, loss of power, antiquated infrastructure, loss of power. My point is this; I need a system that doesn’t eliminate the infrastructure but supports it from an individual basis and backs me when I need it as well. To sell me a system that doesn’t include a backup battery in the quote is unfair to me the consumer. Also, my quote was over $50,000 by the time the backup was included and other incidentals.

Chris ensured us that all we need to do is sit back and relax, BR did the rest from permits, electric engineering fees and dealing with our HOA was seamless. The install team lead by Scott was AWESOME. They installed 35 panels in a day and half. His team works very professional and efficient. They all work well together and all have a great sense of humor. They all ensured my property was cleaned prior to there departure and wished us a Merry Christmas. This was actually our second solar system (we moved this year), both times using Blue Raven. We looked at other companies, but Blue Raven always came out at the top of our choices. This second time has been an even better experience; they have let us know where we are at in the process and updated us on every stage (design, permitting, install, inspections). Our install team, Austin and Zach, were very friendly and professional. They got everything installed and left no mess, walking us through the equipment once they were done, and letting us know what to expect next (inspections, etc). We are very happy with the process.

I scheduled Blue Raven to remove the solar panels they had installed in January 2019, because I had a roofing crew coming the next day to remove my old shingles and install new ones. I took the day off so I could be at home when they arrived and provide any help, as required, such as letting the Blue Raven crew into my garage to store the panels and framework. They never arrived; the crew was delayed by a difficult installation job elsewhere. I was not happy and somewhat discouraged, as I new the roofers might need to reschedule. However, Blue Raven called me and apologized profusely for the delay and said they would send the crew out first thing in the morning, a Saturday. When I asked for a time estimate, I was told the crew would arrive sometime between 6:30 and 7:00 AM. Sure enough, they arrive at 6:40 AM and got to it. Two hours later they were finished, the panels were stacked safely in my garage, and the roofing crew arrived and was able to complete the job on time. My discouragement had turned into satisfaction. But most important, the Blue Raven crew leader and the scheduler were both very contrite about having failed to arrive on the day scheduled. That meant a lot to me.

We got our solar panels installed two weeks ago by Blue Raven Solar. Our sales rep Bryce in southern Utah is amazing to work with and I can tell he really cares about our experience. He is quick to answer my calls/texts about any little question I have about our panels. On the day of install, from start to finish the install only took 2.5 hours. We also got the Echobee smart thermostat and LED light bulbs thrown in with the install. The app I use to track our output is really slick. Our panels have been working great for the first week, and I hope it continues for many years to come! I haven't gotten my tax credit yet or my first electric bill since the install, but I'm eager for the good news. Blue Raven Solar customer service is always quick to answer my calls and emails, and they are always professional.

Communication. A stickler for me for business. They call,text and email.. no guessing.. a relief there. The crew that did the installation was like an oiled machine..having done variius thungs in my life,I can spot inept buffoons immediately. These 3 guys were performing like it was rehearsed.. Not a scrap of trash left,no extra holes.. friendly and patiently explained things to me (as I was trying to stay out of their way) Sales man Jon S came by to see the progress,too. It got breezy and quite chilly...not one complaint. Thermostat was installed neatly and taught to us. Looking for the power company to hook me up now!

Everyone from Blue Raven was super nice from sales, to instillation process and also during rectification of some minor issues after instillation. The Blue Raven representatives were very cordial, patient, responsive and seemed genuinely interested in answering my questions and rectifying any trouble shooting issues over the phone throughout all stages. We had always wanted to go solar but never pulled the trigger until Will B showed up at our front door, answered our never-ending questions and explained everything to our satisfaction. After he explained the environmental impacts of traditional energy production, the inevitable 100% energy offset and the fact that we would never have an energy bill, the decision to go solar with Blue Raven seemed so obvious. The instillation was super quick and easy. The installers worked hard to minimize their impact on our landscaping and to minimize the impact on our lives as we were in and out of the house on instillation day. As promised and without hiccup, Blue Raven paid every cent of our initial loan over an 18 month period. In addition to our personal experiences with Blue Raven personnel, this 18 month promise played large role in our decision to partner with Blue Raven. Thanks to Blue Raven, we are finally a solar family, we're enjoying 100% energy offset and so happy to do our part in preserving the environment by producing clean energy.

I’m tremendously impressed with every aspect of Blue Raven Solar . . . everything was completed as offered and now a year after the installation I can say that it continues to be a fine investment! Everything was conducted (and contacts since) seem to have the integrity of a different era — a time when a person’s word was the most important guarantee you could have and the transaction completed with a handshake over the hood of a car! Of course we had the usual paperwork to complete but it seemed secondary to their personal assurance! I would recommend them to everyone, including my daughter and you know how important she is!
