Really had a great experience working with Vivint! Stacey was great to work with- very patient, and responds quickly to my inquiries. The only suggestion I have is when I stalling the panels- please try to schedule the whole job I. 1 day. The guys had to come back- on a Saturday but it was early in the AM. Made for a long day- but the guys were also great to work with! Clean, respectful and courteous!

I liked the excellent customer service that your sales manager Guy B provided. He was knowledgeable, informative, easygoing (not pushy at all), attentive (responded to questions right away) and professional. So far the entire experience from initial conversation to the install had been pleasant. One thing I do want to mention that I noticed at the start of the install was that one of the installation workers entered our home’s property without wearing a mask. It was brought up to the install person in charge and the issue was corrected immediately.

Our sales person, Devereaux S, was terrific! He was very patient explaining the program with enthusiasm. He was dependable, punctual and well-groomed. The work crew were on time and worked hard and did a good job too.
I would definitely recommend your company. At the time of the sales presentation, I had no desire to have solar panels, but your program convinced me. We are anxious to see the system in action.
And no, Mr, S is not my grandson nor had I ever met him before.!

I am a perfectionist. The work was done up to my standards.
But the time frame for the work was unrealistic.
Firstly it takes time to prepare a crew and equipment for a job. Second it takes travel time to reach a job site. I was told to be prepared for their arrival by as early as 7 A. M. But to expect the arrival by 7:45. The crew arrived about 8:30.
Thirdly I was told the work would be completed by 11:00. It was completed before 3:00 except for stowing of tools. I pressed the crew to leave by 3:00.
My wife is a hero. She works 6 days a week caring for autistic children. She has to be at work by 3. If she is late the children become highly stressed. She lost a work partner last week because of the death of her partner's husband. So the children are very worried about my wife's care for them. It is critical that time estimates are accurate.
I left with her before the crew had finished packing at a few minutes after 3:00. She was a few minutes late to her caregiving.
When I returned I was satisfied with the quality of workmanship but found a forgotten hardhat and cone. The items are on my front porch waiting to be picked up by a crewman or thief when they are in the neighborhood.
Since I am a new customer my given rating is not accurate. Also I have not made a payment yet so I am neither a paying customer or a non paying customer.

The equipment installation was made at the time I was told and the installers were very considerate and did their job very timely in the amount of time I was told it would take. I was told the installation would be inspected and approved before it would be fully operational. I look forward to the system working and saving me the money I was told it would.

It all started with Chris L coming to my office to give a presentation about Vivint Solar. He took his time to explain the process and the benefits of Solar. Chris kept communication along the way and made himself available whenever I had questions. So far the process has been very smooth. Just got my installation done yesterday and now just waiting for the city to inspect. By the way, installation crew was very efficient as well and explained the process. Can’t wait until it’s all done and I start getting energy from Solar. Thanks Vivint Solar and Chris for great Customer Service.

We have had the Vivint Solar Company install solar panels on our roof in which we’re faulty. They were supposed to be coming to fix the roof from the leaking caused by the solar panels. Putting up critter guards they left off on our driveway side of our house and raising up the panels to prevent any other damage. Reinstalling the rest of the panels they took off. So far we had a roofing contractor come over to access the damage to our roof putting a patch on the holes with grey shingles on a brown roof as well as the new holes to be fixed left putting a metal patch without shingles also leaving insulation and mites all over the attic that needs to be cleaned out professionally. This has been going on since 2019 Now going on September 15th 2020. We are still waiting for the roofing company to fix the damage to our roof and attic in which we have found more holes from the solar panels not leaving a gap at the bottom only a half inch in which caused the softness in the roof from the rain and snow not being able to drain out. Thanks to Vivint Solar for all your help in this matter.

We are now very happy to say that the guys came over and fixed everything

We have had Vivint for several years now and it has been great. Our electric bill dropped immediately. Most spring/summer/fall months our electric bill is under $20. And the solar portion is about 1/2 of what the original electric bill was. Our house is total electric so this makes a big difference. The install took a while due to permits and all, but when the finally were able to install the system all went smoothly, fast and they cleaned up after themselves. Overall I am very pleased

Daniel the salesman was great! At first, my credit was just below the point of being eligible, so he hooked me up with a credit company to fix the errors on my credit, free of charge. Then he had my circuit box replaced with a brand new one, free of charge, then he had the solar panels installed. Everything went so smoothly and now I’m looking forward to a smaller electrical bill.

Thiago stopped by a few months ago and discussed the solar options for us. He has been absolutely great to work with. He has been attentive and always responds and updates us! We tried to get solar before but didn’t qualify because of a few trees around our house. Thiago helped take care of trees and got us approved. The install went great, the guys did a good job. The process took longer but now that the system is up and running we are thrilled to be saving on our electric bills.

We contacted them no door to door salesman.Vivint did the planing,permits and inspections.All without problems of delays.I would gladly recomend them! We also had no issues with anyone involved with our contract and received a bonus when the system went operational.The best part,our electric bills were cut in half,and with some of the highest rates in the country this was indeed a extremely big deal.This was excellent choice for us.

We got Vivint about five years ago and it's been great. Our bills are down from past bills. We're paying less then $90 with both National grid and Vivint all year long. The summertime we go to the minus side with National grid. I'm very happy with the salesman, the installers and the electricians who completed the work. I would have no problem recommending them to friends and family.

We have had Vivint for over 2 years.....no pressure sale and 1 dollar up front. At the time there was the federal tax credit. Our electric bill has been less than half of what it was and at times we have had a negative balance with the power company. We referred three neighbors here in upstate NY and not one person has been dissatisfied. I normally do not leave revues on websites but we are happy with the choice especially after meeting with competitors who were thieves.

Our Rep was great with follow up and everything until we signed the agreement and got our solar. He than avoided us after the solar was installed. He promised us a $500 bonus check for me and my mother in law for signing up with him and that it can take up to 4-8 weeks after our solar was installed, which was fine, but that was a lie. This is the 3rd time we've called in and asked were our bonus check was and all they did was kept resending a new check by mail. Its now a year since we got the solar and still, no check. This is the worst customer service experience I had. The worst part, I referred two friends to vivint at the end of 2018. They also got the same bonus agreement. I hope they don't go through the same thing I went through. I will not again refer anyone I know to them again.

Thiago stopped by my house early 2018 offering solar, the bills were pretty high with Eversource so I decided to move forward. It’s been a great experience so far. Thiago took care of everything for me, updating me periodically on the process. I’ve had my system turned on for almost a year and saving a good amount. Even recommended Thiago to a good friend who now has solar as well.

We have had vivint solar panels for a few years now. We have had no issues with the company or our rep. Enos H is very professional and forth coming with all information in the process. He has followed up with us to make sure we are happy. He helped us when we first went solar as well as when we just added more panels recently. Vivint also checks in to make sure we are satisfied. We recommend Enos and vivint to everyone. We have never had an issue with our roof from the panels.

It was great working with Thiago and Vivint. The install looks great and the production so far has been good. Total process took around 3-4 months start to finish. I got turned on in July and still had a couple $40-$50 bills from a Eversource. In retrospect I wish I added a couple more panels to completely eliminate the bill might end up adding in the future.

We lease are solar panels can’t get Vivint Solar app to work several emails no response. Didn’t even know I could check the panels to see if there working by the panel tell I read reviews. I’ve had good luck. Only complaint is no one told me about the utility true up bill. PG&E charges me 650.00 a year for having solar. Yes the bill is for electricity transfer and storage fees. I purchase electricity 18 cents per kilowatt and sell excess to PG&E foe 1/2 a cent a Killowatt. There are solar companies who allow you to store excess electricity and use it during the night. App access. Very nice vivint doesn’t offer that all in all we save a few hundred a year.

Our experience with Vivint was completely positive. We met with our sales Rep Eric, were approved for a loan, were surveyed and up an running in less than 3 weeks. No damage whatsoever and we just got our first bill. $24 for gas. If there are any issues I contact Eric and he takes care of it. I don't understand why most of these reviews are so negative, but our experience was 100% positive.

He made certain that I understood each aspect of the process by clearly explaining what to expect and clarifying the ways solar will be a benefit to me as a homeowner along with how it will benefit the environment. The installation guys where very professional. They arrived on schedule even thought we had a little snow the night before. They explained everything to me before getting to work and cleaned up when done.

Paul A. from Vivint contacted us in August when we agreed to solar we needed our roof replaced Paul said he can roll that into the solar payments. This was a huge help for us financially. Kellner Roofing cam in and had the roof done in one day! Saul from there was very professional the roofing crew were quick and they left my property cleaner than when they started. The Vivint crew came installed my panels upgraded my electrical panel in one day also. They again were very professional. I had 2 bumps in the road the first was the company who was to do the energy audit they did not show the day they were supposed to I made another appointment they came in and did a stellar job. The other was my utility company did not change my meter. That is what I'm waiting on today. Paul has been with me the whole way got my my inspections on days off so I didn't lose pay. As if today all head been installed and inspected I'm just waiting on the meter switch. I'm sure this will be resolved tomorrow.
Overall I'm very pleased with Paul and the Vivint team. Now i wait for it to be turned on and the savings to start.

My system has been installed but not yet turned on as we are waiting for the inspection. So far the process has been very professional and easy to navigate. My sales associate was very knowledgeable and able to answer all the questions that I had. He took a lot of time to explain the process to me and that was one of the main reasons why I went with Vivint as opposed to the other quotes I had. The install went very smoothly and they did a very good job of cleaning up after themselves.

Friendly, polite & courteous, from the sales rep to the installation crew. After installing the panels a few weren't registering online as operational, they stayed behind AND returned the next day to ensue everything was working correctly, rather than saying "we'll send someone back at a later date", (which would have been easier). Waiting for township inspector, so not much more to offer yet, but so far, so good.

We've had Vivint Solar for over 3 yrs now. Best decision we've made in a long time. Before Vivint our peak summer bill was around $950. And now our peak summer bill is peak $300. the install was professional, service has always been consistent. We wish we had vivint installed a lot sooner. the other main reason we went with vivint is when we move the vivint solar energy bill is guaranteed to transfer to the new homeowner regardless of their credit. Satisfied all around!

We used Vivint because they had done a job at my aunt’s house. The representatives called and were very knowledgeable. They walked us through the whole process. Someone came to assess the electric panel, the roof, and our computer service. When the installers came, they were a cohesive team. Everything is checked and double-checked. After installation, another person came to inspect. We were very satisfied. After everything was done, we had a few questions and customer service was great at answering them.

I had researched solar power for a few years before Edwin Reyes with Vivint Solar approached me one afternoon. The RE Energy program was being offered through National Grid and it all made sense for us to make the move. Working with Vivint through the whole process was very reassuring. My sales rep stayed in constant contact with me throughout the process answering any question I had and was proactive in keeping me informed about the time table and process. My husband and I are very please with Vivint. We just had their security system installed and were very pleased with the thoroughness of the employees. They made sure all our questions were answered. We've had to call the help line a few times and were very satisfied with the customer service. Our solar rep Gary S has been excellent. He's been with us every step of the way for both the security system and solar. He continues to check on us and make sure all our questions are answered. I appreciate that level of customer service. I would most definitely recommend Gary and Vivint.

I was extremely pleased with the my sales man . My salesman was able to answer all my questions, he actually came up with questions for me to ask I had a lot of misconceptions when it came to solar panels I will save a good amount on my electric bill just by putting in the solar panels. If I choose to sell my house this will be a benefit to the new owner. I'm extremely pleased with my decision . Most of all I feel good about the fact that I am using solar power and doing something that saves the earth . Thank you to my salesman Adam

Once we signed up, the panels were up within a few days. Then the waiting game began. Very hard to contact Jason (Area manager) who took control of our account from Chad Christensen who was awesome. It took over a month for the inspection which was done by a Vivint Lead tech and someone from the city. Then another few weeks to wait for the net meter from Rocky Mountain Power (RMP). Once the meter was installed, the RMP rep said that we were good to go. When I questioned Vivint, they said that I had to wait for "official" PTO (Permission To Operate) word before I could turn my system on. When I called Vivint a few days later, they said that I could turn my system on but that I could not monitor what is being produced until they receive the official word. That's where I am right now. Overall, Vivint is a great company to go with for solar. Beautiful panels along with a awesome looking Solar Edge brand inverter.

The good: I was skeptical about solar, but the salesman answered all of my questions about the PPA. It sounded too good to be true, but it isn't for me. We switched to time of day metering, are saving about $250 per month on utility bills, and we now run the air conditioning to where we are comfortable here in hot central California. We used to be in tier 4 every month in the summer ($$$$), and now we only get into tier 2 in the hot months. My system was sized well, so my true-up is minimal.
The not so good: installation took many months because they didn't have the right pads to fit our tile roof. Even after installation, it took a long time to get all the permits squared away so the system could be turned on. The customer service people were very friendly, but never got back to me, and didn't get things done. I agree with others, the website is worthless. My co-workers with other systems can tell what their units are putting out in real time. I just get to see how many trees I saved last month.

They Are GREAT!! They called me in the middle of winter on a whim saying they would to install it earlier than scheduled. Installed in than less than a day. You cannot see any trace of panels or piping from the front of the house. Town inspector drove by my house twice looking for a house with a solar system. He was impressed he couldn't see anything. Highly recommend Vivint Solar!!

He was very knowledgeable and explained the benefits of the program. I did some research on my end and decided to Move forward with the installation. Tony has been there to answer any questions or concerns I've had so far.

My experience working with vibrant solar so far has been better than expected handling of the ARC application form and city permitting.
My sales rep Duff D could not of been better he walked me through the whole process and was extremely knowledgeable.
He was able to explain each step in the process so I knew exactly what to expect and he help me with any questions or concerns I may have had.
The installation of the solar panels took place on a Saturday afternoon and went pretty well by the team of installation professionals.
I noticed one set of panels, they were a little scuffed on the frames and there was some dust or dirt left on one of the other panels. Some of the flashing on one of the conduits looked to be a little rough and he mounting frame rail edges were a little rough as well not quite as finished mostly cosmetic concerns.
Will post another review in six months after scheduled inspection by PG&E in the city of the system receiving the approved operating authorization.
Will note energy cost savings and any customer service issues that I may experience during the time period.

He was very willing and capable of comparing their product/support with other vendors in the marketplace today. Mike answered all of my questions, set up meetings with existing customers to show and talk about their satisfaction, kept me fully informed of the progress of the paperwork, and lastly, worked with me to schedule a time suitable for me for the installation of the system.
I would definitely recommend Mike C. to anyone interested in going green with solar panels!

I had a very pleasant experience right from the start. the process was a long one. Multiple, multiple inspections and every mother and his brother had to o.k. the work but, everything was explained from the get go and the work was done in a professional manner. They gave me plenty of time to get the rebate money in to knock down the principal and lower the monthly payments. I'm able to see graphically how well my system is doing via their website and I've already saved well over $200 since the beginning of the year. All in all I'd say it was a pretty good investment.

We own our home in Oceanside, CA. We are very pleased with the customer service we have received since signing on with Vivint. Our panels were installed quickly, and we are now paying much less to Vivint for electricity than we were paying to San Diego Gas & Electric. We have had absolutely no complaints, and when I have questions, it's easy to contact Vivint and get knowledgeable staff to answer them. Very glad we chose Vivint!

Very well Educated on solar panels and solar energy , sales rep took time to go over every aspect from start to finish about the process of buying , installing and setting up for use . Every one has been very professional and courteous with answering all questions and set up of the new solar system. The panels look amazing and it's awesome to save money on electric the bill.

I worked with Vivint representative Jason D. The sale process went very smoothly, the representative took the time to explain all the options and turn around was fast. They showed me different designs which helped me make a decision. The installation was done professionally and there were no problems. The system was inspected and connected to the grid in less than two weeks! Also I was kept informed throug all the process.
I am very satisfied with the service.

Dustin Millen was an awesome, friendly person and treated us with the utmost professionalism and respect. He was honest and upfront about everything. We read great things and heard great things about the company. With the way everything went and how we were treated we can see why vivint is so highly rated.
