Great product that is reliable. This is our second purchase of SunPower products. The first was to reduce our carbon footprint some 10 years ago, this time I wanted to add battery back-up and needed additional panels to ensure the batteries would be fully charged. It works very well here in Florida and I don't really understand why Solar is not required for new buildings given the amount of sun we enjoy, great way to conserve energy.

Extremely profesional and quick to make the project happen. It was a very easy process. We received four differnet bids and Northern Pacific was the most detailed and transparent out of all the solar companies we considered.

I actually interviewed 3 companies and the SunPower Maxeon monocrystalline panels were the best product offered, because of their high efficiency rating and durability along with the 25 year warranty on the system. Jason the sales rep, provided detailed information on the products along with my concerns on batteries and the competition which I verified. Solar technology continues to evolve and improve, I believe it is important to be as close to the leading edge when making purchasing decisions seeing these panels will be utilized for many years.

We have had our solar for over a year now and have saved ( according to our online dashboard) over $5,000 dollars. Our solar is running / operating 100% and would highly recommend Renova Solar to anyone interested in solar.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service request that I submitted via phone more than two weeks ago. My inverter stopped working. I was assigned a case number. I have been calling every few days and the current status is the case is waiting for someone in Sum Power to approve before they can schedule an onsite inspection. I am missing solar generation for more than two weeks. Waiting for more than 2 weeks to get a service request approve is not customer focus.

The installation process was great! My sales rep and project manager were very helpful and available. The customer service care since then SUCKI!! I had to make a claim for a roof leak over 3 weeks ago, and have camped out on the CS line for hours trying to get help!

Made inaccurate statements and kept changing their responses after calling them out on it. Made promises that did not appear in the agreement. Eventually, they went out of business and did not tell me. When I reached out asking about delays they shared they are "not taking any new leases", even though my agreement was signed prior to this announcement. They began searching for other companies that are under SunPower to pass the project on to, but without the benefits promised with SunPower, one of them being a company they spoke negatively about and encouraged me not to go with. Going out of business for a reason, over promise, under deliver, bold faced lies. Dodged a seriously terrible situation with them going out of business when they did.

poor, poor customer service. signed up in December 2024 now August 2024 and not hooked up yet. Constant delay's no contacts with state consumer affairs or their own engineers to ok the project. Finally got the system installed in May but Failed inspection in July because of paperwork not finished correctly. Was told it would be taken care of next week, two weeks now no calls or emails and they won,t answer the phone to let us know wha'ts going on. PGE just let us know today that it will be 30 days for ok from the solar company to turn us on , so we save NO money this summer on our electric bill when it is so high. Why did we go solar, sure don't need the aggavation

My system has been half down due to a failed inverter for over 3 1/2 months now. My electric bill has soared over $1000 and I can't get anyone to fix my system. Rather than sending someone out to diagnose my system, Sunpower had me, the homeowner, do all the troubleshooting for them. They refused to send a tech out prior to declaring bankruptcy, stalling me on the repair for more than a month before flat out stating they had no one to send. Then they closed my case without asking or taking any action to remedy my situation. Now I reopen the case every time they close it, which is roughly once a week.

I have been extremely dissatisfied with this company. My husband called the company back in January 2024 to inform them that 7 out of our 20 solar panels were not working. They told us they would put an order in for the parts and once the parts came in they would contact us to schedule an appointment for someone to come out and repair them. It is now July and the issue has still not been remedied. We have called them every month since to get an update and try and figure out what the hold up is. We continue to get the same run around that either the order was put in wrong, the parts aren’t ready, they are waiting on the other company to schedule a date but it doesn’t actually seem that anyone knows anything. They have not been proactive about contacting us, we have always had to be the ones to reach out to them which involves long wait times with little to no new information. It has been extremely frustrating and if I could do it all over again I would choose a different company.

I originally signed an agreement in nov 2023. After receiving many excuses for the delay, panels were installed on 6/28. Was told I would be contacted within a week to complete setup. As of 7/23 I’ve reached out to installer (js industries llc) 4 times. They’ve not answered calls or responded to message sent. I was given installers contact information by Sunpower support along with a Sunpower email address should I require additional help. When I sent an email to Sunpower requesting assistance, I received an automated response that the address was not monitored. My project manager represents energypal an authorized Sunpower distributor. I will update this review if the situation improves.

**Review for Sunpower:** Avoid Sunpower at all costs. Their technician left our battery installation unfinished and claimed someone else would fix it. After two months of constant calling, they insisted everything was fine and just waiting for a permit. Once we finally got the permit, two hours on the phone with their customer support revealed they needed to send someone out again, which will take another five weeks. Meanwhile, we're stuck paying for both a solar panel loan and California Edison, effectively doubling our bills. Their incompetence and terrible customer service have wasted us hundreds of dollars. When we asked for compensation, they flatly refused, hiding behind their contract. Do yourself a favor and go with local providers—they'll likely be cheaper and far more reliable.

They are very quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. It went great. They came out in a couple days, had the holes up and another couple days they had the wires run and the panel's on, so it was very quick, very concise. I've been pleased with it so far.

It was difficult. Install was probably the most difficult part. Part of it was not on Sun Power but on local communities trying to get things approved. But I think part of it was not understanding the landscape when the team was going to arrive and when equipment was going to arrive and where I was going to be staged and and so forth. So there was a little bit of lack of collaboration and if I had not had some foresight that could have been a major mess, but we were able to work through that part. The installation itself, once it got going, was done probably in record time compared to other homes that I had heard from him. The guy that the main lead that installed. However, once the install was done, it took forever. Matter of fact, just recently did I actually have things working. So I guess what I'm saying in a nutshell is that last fall when we set all this up, it was determined that I would probably be getting installed sometime March, April and rolling along there and and literally it was just July before things actually got turned on.

There has not been any follow up since it was installed and we had a hookup problem that I had to call them to come fix. Once I instigate communication, then they're on it, but they do not follow up outside of that, no training, no nothing. We were missing a part so solar was not working until that part came, or the app was not working until that part came, and then we had to do some adjustments after that.

I haven't had any issues and it looks great. They were in and out of here in two days. They were here probably six hours each day. It was pretty fast and convenient. Can't really beat it. Anytime I've called with any questions they giving me answers right away.

I don’t usually make very large purchases but this is one of the best and likely most important purchases I have ever made. Electrical bill is basically non-existent since installation.

What I liked about aUn Power is that I was able to reach people at every step of installation. They even helped me find a roofer to install new roof. Not that I needed it but I didn't want to have to take all my panels down shortly after install.

I relied heavely on reviews before choosing SunPower. With the exception of a couple scheduling hiccups and failure to notify me they have delivered as promised. The sales representative was very thorough with her explanation and answers, the installation team was very effecient and did a nice job. My system has only been active a few weeks and seems to be doing fine, only time will tell. I am happy with my decision to go with SunPower.

Overall great. I'd give it a 4.5 stars. Initial install was great and fast. No problems. Added 6 more panels this year and the system was down for a lot longer than I thought. At least Sunpower made a payment for the initial system because it was so long (about 7 weeks, I expected more like 3-4). Had to come out multiple times to change equipment out.

The system works well. What I did not know is the surrounding things. Everything is working despite my ignorance. I did not understand the SCE and SGIP process. I was also a bit lost on the 'taxes' situation. I have a better understanding of how all of that works now.

There was a team that installed the panels. I think it took 2 days at the end. Very organized, smooth, didn't bother me at all. Good communication, I knew when they were coming. The system produces electricity without problems, so that's exactly what I wanted.

We went with Sunpower because their components were higher rated than their competition. However, within a year, our inverter went out. And unfortunately, the SunPower app doesn't alert you when production drops off so I didn't know that we weren't producing electricity for over two months. This was rather disappointing. Time will tell if we have any more disappointments. Fingers crossed that we don't.

It looks good, works, great for electricity. They are a little more expensive than on the other systems I priced, but I accept the higher price for the better appearing panels and the quality of the install. You can't see visible wires or the electrical tubing outside of the installation.

SunPower was one of the top manufacturers of the solar panels and they had a good reputation in the industry. They've been in solar for a while, so it just seemed like a good company to start with. I was in communication with the installers pretty regularly. We had one minor hiccup with the inspection that was resolved the day of.

Competitors focus on low-payment, long term financing for overpriced hardware. SunPower's model is exactly the right one, although it can make it difficult or confusing to find financing.

My rating would be 5 stars except that one of my 16 panels consistently produces about 10% - 15% less electricity than eachof the other 15 panels. When I called to inquire why this was the case, I was told the panel in question is operating within normal parameters. I question this explanation If the panel was operating normally it seems like it should give similar readings to the other 15 panel. But it doesn't. It is always below the other panels, as just described.

Greg Field was great to work with and the installation team was awesome. Just a note regarding the installation time. It took longer due to Covid so I don't want the time it took for installation to reflect negatively on the installers. They did a great job and made sure the conduit was installed to my request.

There were different crews that came out here, but everything seemed to be done properly. It was done quickly and they stayed until everything was done. Anytime that I've reached out to them there was fairly reasonable response times getting back to me, so that was good.

I'm very happy with it. I have not had any problems with it. I haven't had any other panels, so this is my only experience and I'm very happy with it. I think everyone should get some panels. I think everyone should be going for the alternative energy and I think they're very strong and SunPower is a good company.

I'm getting everything I thought I'd get out of it. I mean I wouldn't go with any other company. I feel that I or other friends and family that have gotten something solar energy and they're still very dependent on the company and they're basically misled per say. I felt like it was told what I was getting so I kind of feel like the process was what I signed up for, not so much like a hidden agenda.

They respond to all questions and help me work out all issues. We had to get an electrician out to overhaul some things at the house level that wasn't their responsibility, but they pointed me in the right direction and were very supportive.

Anything that's wrong with the material, and anything that has to be handled, the technicians handle it. There was a little glitch that occurred and they came in and handled it. I never knew they came and never knew they went.

I think installation was slow but once it was up and running it has been headache free. I save a lot in my electric bill but at the same time I had spent a lot of money already. I just don't want to be burdened with monthly electric bill. I believe it is a good investment and have no regrets; just relaxed.
