I have asked since the first treatment to please plan to come when I am home. Every single time, the technician will call and say that they are in my area and want to come at a different time. I am fairly certain my back yard has never been fully treated. I have a dog door and no one every calls to make sure I am home to close the dog door. Often, my son's dog is here and if they truly come in the back yard to treat, that dog would not allow the intrusion, therefore I am certain the back yard has seldom been adequately treated.

Seems that the price keeps going up and their window for visits gets shorter. I finally had to call and tell them to wait for the next visit. I will say there are no cockroaches but we still get lots of spiders and wasps.

Their product only worked for a few months, once the next bug season came around they were all over my house and I constantly had to have HAWX come out and do another treatment. The techs were never prepared, I requested several times for the inside of my house to be done and every time the tech would arrive unaware that the inside needed to be done as well. Customer service is horrible and rude. This company is a shame.

It is hit and miss with the help. The first year they were great the second year it was hit or miss on the techs. One would take 5 minutes when it is a 30 minute job. I had to call them back once and almost twice. I recommended them to a friend and they did not show up when they were suppose to and when they did the job was not done well.

So far so good but the first service is always the best. I hope every service that follows is as good. We had Orkin before and they require 30 days notice to stop a current service. We were not sure if we could just call and cancel but we had to have them out for our regular service then give 30 days notice to cancel.

Professional, Courteous, and prompt. While their service got 98% of the webs and missed a few on the patio. I also inquired about whether the chemicals being used were safe for bees, and I found a few dead bees the days following the service. Overall I've seen fewer insects and bugs and will have to continue the service monthly to see how everything pans out overall. Not sure why management was with the team during the service which I think made the servicemen nervous as they were being watched and graded, but that's corporate for ya.

My rating is really 4.5, but that's not an option... We live in central Texas, which means pest control really isn't optional. Hawx was our service for 2 years - we switched to them because of a *large* billing dispute with our previous contractor. Hawx also offered service every two months instead of quarterly like our other service. The first year was fantastic, they even got rid of all the dreaded fire ants (I'm originally from California, never heard of them til I stepped in a mound while wearing flip flops, discovered I'm allergic). They were very responsive to any "in between" issues, sent a tech right out. The second year was a little rockier, out of the three who rotated our area two got assigned to a different area and one changed jobs. The new group of techs who covered our area weren't quite as diligent, we had to make "in between" calls nearly every time. The main office was still super responsive and helpful, so that was good. Honestly, the only reason we switched was because our new service claimed to offer the same type and frequency service we had been getting at a lower price. Oops. As soon as our contract is up we'll be switching back to Hawx

Worst Experience Ever: We had a wasp problem at our house and signed up for yearly service, they send a tech out that was allergic to bees... Then they did not come out for 7 months and they refuse to hold up their end of the contract. I cancelled my agreement and they only refunded me 2 months out of the 8. They are not organized, professional, accountable, and customer service has been awful. After 11 months I have had zero service and nothing to show for the money they would not refund. Not an ethical company BEWARE!
