My claim was approved in just a few days and the window replaced within two weeks. Crew was prompt and did a beautiful job. We have a high wind and rain location and out of 26 large windows only one had a minor issue. Love Milgard!!!

They were friendly and got the job done, which was to replace a window pain that had fogged, after 20 years of service. There was no charge. However there was a 6 month delay in getting to my job. Milgard has new management and I am concerned about commitment to support the warranties.

The first replacement window was too large. We had to wait an extra 2 weeks for the correct window. The Milgard customer service person I spoke with first was rude. She seemed suspicious that I was contacting you (through my local Milgard dealer) and required that I show proof of home ownership. I have never had to do that before. The two gentlemen who arrived to replace the window were courteous and efficient. The new window looks great as it is not all fogged up!

Sam did a great job explaining the problem we are experiencing with our window and confirmed that the window itself appears to be working normally. Most likely, our situation is an installation fault and we will be reaching out to our builder to assist with the remedy.

Had a problem with moisture inside the two glass planes. We called Milgard and they dispatched a technician in a reasonable time frame and the glass was expertly replaced. We are the original purchaser of the Milgard windows and have a lifetime warranty so there was no cost to us.

The technician was excellent. However, when I originally made the appointment I was told I would receive a phone call one or two days before the appointment to let us know when the technician would come by. I never received a phone call until the day of the appointment when the technician called and said he was on his way. It would have been nice to know beforehand when he was going to be here.

The tech that came and repaired my screens was excellent he gets 5 stars. The waiting time for Milgard to respond to the initial claim was a 40 days and you never responded to the retailer at all. you used to be the best. I have had Milgard windows in three houses and 10 years ago I never waited more than a dya for a response and two to three days for a repair. Need to review your proccess some where you lost a step. Still excellent windows and compared to other brands still one of the best.

It takes a little while to get an appointment with the service representative Mark, but once you do you’ll be happy. Mark arrived early, which was terrific for us, and took care of two of our windows in less than 30 minutes.

Presently, the worst thing about Milgard is the absurdly long lead times and a growing lack of trust in promised delivery dates. Defects are rare with Milgard. When it does happen or, there is a customer created problem, our sales representative, Darren K, always provides excellent support and service to help correct the problem.

It took a very long time for the service request to get through the system and assigned to a technician. Lucky I called every couple weeks because it was those calls that moved the ticket ahead into a service call. They indicated each time and I get that they "are very busy", but only when I called did things seem to move forward, so I'd give low stars for that. But to the contrary, I'd give very high stars for the service call. The technician who came was very profesional through the entire interraction - from scheduling the appointment to final cleanup as he left. He spend several hours diagnosing an issue with the operation of a sliding door lock present apparently since the door was installed many months ago and only 2 months ago discovered when I pulled up slightly on the locked slider and it slid open. I immediately cut a rod to place in the track and secure the door and made a service request. I feel much more secure now knowing that someone cannot lift the slider and circumvent the locking mechanism now that he fixed it. The average of 1 star and 5 stars is 3 stars, which I gave the entire experience with Milgard.

Amazing warranty! One pane was broken, either in transit or in storage. We live in a country area, so Milgard sent technicians from Tricities, 3 hours away, to replace this one pane. It is great to know that they value their customers’ satisfaction so highly.

The service team replaced the rollers and track for our sliding glass door quickly and efficiently. The door works much better now. The only issue was that two of the guys refused to wear masks when coming into our house and remained outside while the third tech came inside to do the work. Milgard may wish to remind their technicians that when coming to someone's home, they need to be sensitive to their concerns.

Norm came out today to replace a window that was not sealed correctly. I had no problems getting it replaced. I am happy to know that Milgard stands behind their windows for a life time. I would have given a 5 start, but Milgard first scheduled my appt. for 5:00 - 7:00 PM. That is entirely too late for a job to be completed. I had re-arranged my schedule to meet that time. Thank goodness, Norm was ahead of schedule and was able to come much earlier in the day to replace the window. He was very professional and did a great job for me!!

I had milgard ultras installed. Love the windows but had a few issues. A frame was cracked, a lock was not working right, and a spring was making noise. The tech came out about a month after install and fixed all the issues in about an hour. I’m super satisfied with the service and the warranty is the best in the industry as far as I can tell.

I have to say both times I have had windows replaced, the people and interactions have all been excellent. The thing that kills me, for the windows I had bought from Milgard, is the rubber gasket that forms the seal around the windows that open. They are all disintegrating, and really makes the windows look like crap. I had asked about this before and was sent a box of rubber gasket material to do it myself. I did a couple ground floor windows, but the seal didn't stay in place for long. I get that the sun bakes this stuff and it deteriorates, But trying to replace the sticky mess that is then created isn't fun. I hope there is a better solution in the next year or so when I build another home. The tec today said the same material is used in the windows being produced currently. That is the reason which would cause me to seek another brand of windows. Matt

Milgard honored their guarantee when one of our Milgard double pane window developed algae growth in between the panes. The wait for the replacement window was lengthy—several months which was annoying. But even more annoying was not being notified that the service could not be performed on the designated day due to a breakdown of the serviceman’s truck. So we had to wait another month. But finally we had the replacement window installed! It took less than a hour and looks great.

I called our Tech Rep, Mark S, and I got the numbers needed on the window. The seal is broken on two windows and he had me walk around the outside of the house to make sure no other windows are affected. Very smooth and efficient call. Installation is planned near end of July.

Rocky was the service tech for the service at my home. The time frame for arrival was 2:30-4 and he arrived promptly at 2:30. I had a minor job for him involving the locking handle on a sliding glass door. He had the job done in 15 minutes. He was friendly and professional. Great customer service & products. Our installer was fast and professional. Did a great job! Also, I greatly appreciate that Milgard stands behind the quality of their products, however we moved into a house with only 2 months left on the warranty of the windows. I feel the lifetime warranty of the products should be extended to the next owner. Or at least that an extended warranty at a reasonable price should be offered for purchase by the next owner.
