Kyle was a top-notch technician who was able to repair the sliding track in one of our sunroom windows even though it was 35 years old and I had been told they would likely have to make a new bottom window. He also took the time to replace two unlocking openers on two bedroom windows that had been broken for many years. He definitely deserves a 5-star rating. Thank you Milgard and Kyle for such great warranty service.

Poor customer service for warranty repair. I have been trying to get a double hung window repaired going on two months. My last conversation I tried to get a general time for the service call and I was put on hold for over a half hour, the girl on the line never returned. Still working on the service call, I will update if they ever return my call.

Kyle was in a hurry and seemed to struggle to really make everything functional in the smoothest way. The main front door still sticks when closed and the secondary door has a lock that is still less than 100% easy. As elders these small issues loom large when half of our friends cannot open it in one normal pull. Does that door need to be replaced??

Milgard service is very busy and can take some time to get a repair scheduled and completed. The service man was on time and very efficient. Everything seemed to go well. The $500 to replace the small window seems a bit high but it’s been a while since I have had to deal with window replacement. I have been happy with my Milgard windows and the warranty provided.

Extremely disappointed with Milgard’s warranty support. I purchased their windows and one has been inoperable since installation. Despite multiple attempts, their service team keeps making me repeat the same information without ever confirming a service visit. The process has been frustrating and unhelpful. It’s unacceptable that Milgard won’t stand behind their own product.

Fifth or sixth time that installer or Millard has been out looking at the same slider. Each time they do their best and they try and get the door working as well as I can at the time and then days or weeks later it starts failing again to the point where you can’t even open the slider sometimes. I’ve asked for the door to be replaced. It’s just not acceptable for an expensive sliding glass door not to work.

I had a problem with the rubber seals coming displaced in 4 of our windows. I visited with Luca in customer service. He had a window tech at my home in a week that fixed our windows. Then did a follow up to insure our satisfaction. Great customer service .

The two men (Norm and I don’t remember the other man’s name) who came out to replace my windows were professional and fast. However, customer service dropped the ball several times; my service date was changed without notification (one of the service people had a family situation and had to cancel my appointment…customer service failed to call and let me know), when I called customer service I was told I needed to speak with someone who was on the phone but they would call me back…no call back, I called customer service the following day and finally talked with someone who scheduled my service date. The only reason I left a 3 star review is the quality of the to service men who installed my replacement windows.

Tech arrived at time specified, was VERY respectful of our property (brand new wood floors) and very friendly. He was extremely quick and professional while doing the window pane replacement, and even cleaned the newly installed panes after installation . . . in spite of the rain falling. The quality and durability of our Milgard windows is nice, however the stellar service provided by Milgard (and specifically by this window tech), is so refreshing. We are greatly appreciative of Milgard and it's employees. Thank You.

The repair department sent the incorrect handle for my sliding door repair. Fortunately, the repair technician found the correct one on their truck but it was the wrong color. He repaired the door with the handle he had on the truck until the correct white handle can be mailed. The technician was excellent and I would give them 5 stars.

Initially I was told I would have to live with the film on the outside of my window or pay for a replacement myself. Then after I figured out that it was because the low e coating was on the wrong side, then I was offered a replacement. I wasnt impressed with that process but the guy who i was dealing with was nice to me overall. The technician who came to fix it was very professional and nice. In the end we were appreciative.

Milgard makes good on the lifetime window warranty for our home. Weeks ago measurements were taken and yesterday a worker replaced two sliding windows which had failed seals. The replacement windows are like new. Our home was built in 1997 with Milgard windows throughout. Over the years a few windows have failed and been replaced. We are very satisfied with Milgard windows.

I contacted Milgard and they promptly dispatched a mobile repair crew to my home. I was incredibly impressed with the crew's expertise and professionalism. They had decades of experience between them and quickly diagnosed and fixed the issue. It was clear that this was an easy fix for them, and they handled it with efficiency and care. I was able to order replacement part for my 26 year old patio door. But, I had to REALLY push to get to send a technician out to install. I am sure they don't like fulfilling their lifetime commitment to original homeowners that they made 25+ years ago, but there are still people, like myself, that have that clause, and it should never be something that is fulfilled. The service person I originally spoke to insisted I come to Tualatin to pick up the part(s). I had to ask to speak to his manager in order to get them to come and and install. The installer was very professional and friendly. I very much appreciate him coming out it only took a couple minutes. It would've taken me much longer, especially since I did not have the tools for the job.

I couldn't lock my Tuscany series sliding patio door in the secondary lock position to leave it slightly open. My scheduled appointment time was for 12:45p but Mike called and asked if he get come early, if course I said yes! He got right to work making the necessary adjustments and made sure everything was in alignment within the channels. He explained that my door had a primary and secondary lock. The primary being the door handle and the secondary if I wanted to leave the door slightly open at night. He made sure I didn't have any other concerns and told me that if I had any more problems to call. I really appreciated his friendly professionalism and for calling to see if he could come earlier than originally scheduled. I love my Milgard windows and how nice they look.

Just have to comment on Bonito your Milgard technician..., Bonito's mannerisms and overall professionalism was very impressive, I have been a remodeler and a master of my craft for years... This glass replacement was not in the best of positions semi-behind a gas freestanding stove in the corner of our master bedroom on the ground floor. The outside is covered in landscaping plants and a little difficult to get to. Bonito was careful of the garden and did little to disturb it... But he was fast on the draw with his tools and relevant installation materials. He had this replaced in lighting speed in under 15 minutes traveling to his truck and back... Current outside temperatures in the 80's... Well done Bonito, anyone that has the opportunity to have this Glass man on the job will do well to stay out of his way! LOL 😂 He was Glazing at brea neck speeds and very communicable in the process! Milgard, you have an exceptional person in your employment... Sincerely, Gary Clevenger, CEO, Gold Crest General, Inc. It took about a month for them to send out a technician to help with our problem. We had to call them back a couple of times before they responded with more than an email with an order number on it. Our problem was not a normal malfunction with the gears of our transoms window. The installers retrofitted the latch so we could open our loft windows 2ndstory, from the bottom first floor. The cap that was placed and fitted to the gears of the window latch is not holding properly so the 6’ pole is not connecting as it should. We couldn’t open the window using the pole crank, it could not catch with the closers gears. The tech was able to tighten the fitting so it worked and said it would probably fail. The Milgard gears still look pristine. The cap added for our pole is what is spinning. I don’t hold Milgard at fault for this. We will try to find a replacement cap thru the installers, a very old and competent glass company in our area. We’ll see how that works. Our problem was not fixed by the Milgard Tech and we’ll see what happens in round two with the glass company who sold and installed the windows for us.

Corrected what was probably rightfully the retail window company induced problem so 5 stars just for that. On a somewhat negative note, this year I've had both sides of a sliding door replaced. One was due to glass breakage; the other due to wrong type glass in the original installation. The sliding door is a type that has small venetian blinds incorporated between panes. Both times the replacement panels were ordered with the controls for the venetian blinds on the wrong side. (Fortunately, the installer has apparently encountered this error a number of times so he brought panels with controls on both sides - so 5 stars for Stan too.) This is a communication problem.

we built our house about 14 years ago and had Milgard windows installed. since that time we have had i think every window replaced at least once. when i notice a issue with a window i call Milgard and they have a local person (JAKE) contact me . Jake is absolutely the best representative that Milgard could have here in my area. he very courteous, prompt and very professional about getting my windows installed. Milgard may not have the very best window on the market but I guarantee that they have the best WARRANTY. If I ever build another house I guarantee that Milgard would be my choice of windows. I am very happy with the service i receive.

Initial contact was very helpful in finding the original order (24 years ago!) for my house and confirming the measurements and identification of the 2 failed windows. The installation technician (Vicente, I think) was very quick and professional. Wore booties inside and was very good about protecting the surrounding workspace and cleaning up afterward. He was courteous to recognize that I had just prepared my lunch (he arrived just before noon) and one of the windows was in the kitchen. He opted to start with the other window so that I could finish my lunch in peace. This is the second or third time that we have contacted Milgard for warranty replacement, and every time the company has been top notch! Would recommend them to anyone interested.

This is the second time I have had to use my Milgard warranty for windows installed when my house was constructed in 1998. On both occasions they honored their warranty to the letter. Today, at no cost to me, they came out and replace three windows that had broken seals without blinking an eye. This is the kind of company I like doing business with. Further, considering the number of windows in my house I find it amazing that they have held up so well. All four windows (combination of both claims) were on the south side of my house where they get hammered by weather yet they still held up for 22 years.

It sucks when your windows show that they’ve been infiltrated in between the glass. Once you see it, the problem only grows: I waited too long to contact Millard about our problem, “as far as my wife was concerned” it was true. After several years I finally did do what the effort entails, and to my surprise and happiness, Millard came through. Great service and communication. You need to do it all online.
