The Good

  • Easy to Work With
  • Breadth of Products
  • Low Processing Cost

Easy to Work With

CreditCardProcessing.com is all about simplicity and strives to make it easy for business owners to apply for and obtain merchant accounts. For customers looking for a mobile swiper or payment gateway, CreditCardProcessing.com offers a simplified online application with conditional immediate approvals. For others or those not interested in an internet merchant account and the payment gateway, CreditCardProcessing.com's sales representatives work with customers to understand their short- and long-term business goals and needs. CreditCardProcessing.com provides several options that may work for a customer's individual business.

Breadth of Products

Whether a business has an existing merchant account or is new, CreditCardProcessing.com offers a wide array of options to ensure that every merchant has the solutions they need. For example, the merchant account provider has a wide variety of traditional and alternative payment acceptance solutions, including mobile, e-commerce, stand-alone terminals, and even a gateway for payment integrations. In addition, CreditCardProcessing.com offers a suite of value-added solutions designed to help businesses grow, including gift cards, loyalty programs, reputation and social media management, website and domain registration, employee management, and more. The company is also a proud reseller of Clover.

Low Processing Cost

While the payment processor does not disclose each individual rate or associated cost, CreditCardProcessing.com does have a "lowest total processing cost guarantee". This guarantee allows clients to send in current merchant account processing statements or competitor rates (in writing) in order to provide the lowest processing rate. If, for whatever reason, CreditCardProcessing.com cannot beat the rate, they will give the business owner a $50 American Express gift card.

CreditCardProcessing.com also has low transaction fees. Outlined below are the company's fees excluding monthly fees, which vary per transaction type for credit cards and debit cards:

  • Online Transaction Fee: 0.95% (Debit) + $0.22 or 1.95% (Credit) + $0.22 PT
  • POS Transaction Fee: 0.35% (Debit) + $0.20 or 1.55% (Credit) + $0.20 PT
  • Mobile Transaction Fee: 0.35% (Debit) + $0.20 or 1.55% (Credit) + $0.20 PT

The Bad

  • Limited Industries
  • Pricing and Fees

Limited Industries

At this point, CreditCardProcessing.com provides merchant services in only eight industry categories. That being said, a number of merchant account providers avoid "high risk status" companies due to a number of complications. Businesses who can use CreditCardProcessing.com for their merchant account needs include:

  • Retail
  • Mail Order/Phone Order
  • Internet
  • Wireless
  • Restaurant
  • High Volume
  • Petroleum/Gas Station
  • Hotel/Lodging

Pricing and Fees Vary

Pricing, rates, and fees vary depending on a number of factors. The industry type, business size, transactions, and processing demands all contribute to how CreditCardProcessing.com handles an account. In order to obtain an accurate depiction of rates and fees, business owners will need to reach out directly to get a free quote. Pricing transparency is something business owners have been known to appreciate, especially in the merchant account arena.

The Bottom Line

While CreditCardProcessing.com may be considered a newcomer in the merchant account services and credit card processing industries, the company has instituted a number of solutions that benefit large and small businesses nationwide, including a simple application process, a variety of product and service options including credit card transactions, and low processing fees. Its low processing cost and breadth of service, in comparison to other credit card processing companies, have resulted in positive merchant services reviews.

The company also offers 24/7 customer service help and does not charge any early termination fees. Unfortunately, CreditCardProcessing.com does not provide credit card processing services to high risk merchants and the company's pricing and fees may vary. However, merchants who feel that CreditCardProcessing.com may be a good fit for their needs are encouraged to reach out to the company for more information.

It was the worst experience I ever had. I was told what my fee was gonna be ($20-$30/month plus a percentage of what I did). They didn't tell me I had such a low limit, so my first sale was $8,000-9,000 and they declined it because they said I didn't have a high enough limit for someone to purchase from me. Then they had to credit it and they charged me $400 to process that and then decline it. Then they charged me to credit it back to the client. So I lost $600 or $700 for freaking nothing. I don't do a whole lot of sales but my sales are a little bit bigger because I'm a cabinet shop. I would go a couple months not using it and the monthly fees when I called to cancel were $170/month for not even using it. It was absolutely miserable and the most expensive thing I've ever done. I just wanted to get away from it as fast as I could and tell them they could go pound sand. Also, the reader they sent me didn't work, so I had to had write the card numbers. I called and inquired about it several times, but I had to manually punch the card in, which, by the way, they charge a higher fee for. And I think they did that on purpose. When I called them to cancel, they lied to me and I had a hard time cancelling.

I thought I would be able to save money with credit card processing but that wasn't really the case. Their stuff was very high tech but it wasn't necessarily user friendly. I think they need to specify, upfront, all the issues that revolve around non-qualified credit card charges and how that affects the pricing structure. That especially before the customer commits to any sort of arrangement with Credit Card Processing. Their customer service agents should also go back and get more professional training on how to resolve a customer's issues. Everyone is entirely unprofessional and they were never really able to resolve my issues in a satisfying way.

We were looking for an additional processor. Someone referred us to them so we looked them up. Since we liked what they had to offer we signed up online. The machine is pretty standard. A lot of the time you really can only get to them through their chat messaging thing. The responses are always very vague though. Their sales people should be a little more truthful about what they are doing. Once I was having issues with my account. It had hit the 1% charge back rate and I tried talking to them for 2 days to figure that out. Everything was just very slow and at that time we also had held funds from the last month's holiday season. They basically held my funds for those two things for 6 months. In the end they gave it all back, but it was all very unprofessional. I'd never recommend this system to a growing business.

Chicago vendor (literally afraid to put my business name because these people are so shady I'd expect them to retaliate somehow). Oak Park, IL

Hidden fees like no other. Basically, the salesman will give you a great pitch on the phone, and send a couple unofficial emails with NO mention of additional fees. Then he sends the official contracts and say they contain "everything we discussed," but the actual contracts are full of hidden fees. Three things happened: 1. I was told on the phone and in email that there would only be a monthly fee, no annual fee. Buried deep in the fine print of the contract though, it says "A $119.00 Annual Enhanced Security Package Fee will be assessed to each Merchant Account annually." The contract says I "electronically signed" it, but I actually just gave authorization over the phone so I NEVER saw the actual full contract with all the fine print until I requested a copy 6 months later after noticing hidden fees being charged. 2. After two months I was charged an "additional fee" of $29.99 for iAccess Insights. I didn't even know what iAccess Insights was, much less that I supposedly was enrolled in it. I cancelled it but of course they still charged me the following month another $29.99

They didn't state things clearly at first. Everything they tell you is all scrambled up and isn't clear or easy to understand. They need to have at least some sort of welcome kit to make it all easier to understand how to do things like log into your account or setting your username. I mean, the equipment itself is pretty good. It's pretty easy to use but they don't actually give you enough instructions on how to use it. There's a lot of fixes and little bits of working with the equipment that they're not very clear about, like making sure to plug the thing into the phone all the way in and some bits and pieces of the device.

I chose them because of the rates they have. The people that sign up with them need to be very careful when they do so. It turns out that the people that you speak with initially do all the setup for your account right there. If the information is not 100% correct, you will have a lot of difficulty getting your money when a credit card is put through. They held on too close to seventy eight thousand dollars of ours until we got all the information straightened out with them. It's also very difficult to get in touch with their customer support, especially since most of our work is done during the weekend. They basically have no schedule that we can work with.

From my meeting with the representative, it seemed like they were easy to do business with. Their internet transaction capability and the reduced fees also convinced me of signing up. The equipment wasn't as robust as I needed it to be. On top of that, I had a horrible experience with them. They actually terminated my account. I called them and brought it to their attention to see if we could be solved but the person that answered me yelled and screamed at me. They even cursed me. I proved that it have been a mistake, no foul intent or anything just an honest mistake, but they didn't really help. They had apparently lost all the paperwork or forgot about it because it was all there but not processed. I had gone through the entire process, sent them all the documents they needed, did the verification, and it all just sat there in the system. It was just very difficult to do business with them.

If I could sue the company I would. They cheated me out of my very first transaction. It was an instant thing that happened and it just didn't go through. It was almost a thousand dollars. They rescinded the charge and turned it back to the person that was charging it. On top of that, they charged me a thousand dollars to charge it back. I was offered a refund for that but they still ended up keeping six hundred dollars. I was never told what my credit limit was, never got my calls answered or returned, I just hate them. I want other people to know they should never use them, they're hideous thieves. I've never dealt with more spiteful, mean, horrible people in my life. Now that I've got a little bit of time, I'll pursue this legally or in whatever way I have to. They'd be doing the world a favor if they disassemble the company.

They had a great deal when I signed up, but now I'm not really happy with them. I've never had so much trouble with a credit card reader before. I've been trying to get my account canceled. For a few days now I've been trying to get some confirmation that the account has been closed, but I've received nothing yet. Connor, the gentleman that signed me up, is not as easy to get along with now that I need help. They should have better customer service.

They don't itemize the anything. They just charge you miscellaneous fees and stuff. There's no information about what those fees are or where they come from. Every month they just charge you an awful lot of money to your account and it's just ridiculous. It's all really a scam. They stole money that I worked hard for with all those fees. When I tried to contact them to cancel my service no one knew what department to send me to or what phone numbers to give me. They always gave me the run around.

I was looking and comparing credit card processing machines when came across theirs. I didn't actually sign up with them. Basically what happened was that I was looking at prices for the machines and ended up signing on the agreement without even realizing it. They charged me and I canceled the service on the same day. That was kind of crazy. They shouldn't charge people if they don't get the machines, that's just not right.

I've also had to replace the swipe for my phone twice and it still doesn't work. If that worked I'd use it a lot more. We're paying a premium to manually insert the card information and I'd really like to get a phone swipe that works properly.

And then when I did and I needed assistance, I had to constantly call and email them in order to get a response. They have a ton of fees that they don't tell you about initially and then you're suddenly hit with high costs at the end of the month. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE! I went with them because of their pricing. Customer service doesn't get back to you and, when they do, they always have to refer you to someone else because they cannot solve the problem. It doesn't help much. I would suggest having more knowledgeable customer service associates and to actually care about your customers instead of just your profit. As for the equipment, they really don't give you any guidance or instructions as to how to set it up and use it, there's no support.

Avoid creditcardprocessing.com and iPayment, Inc. They are thieves and will deny any wrong doing on their part, not to mention, outright lie to you right over the phone. They will charge fees for something you never asked for then refuse to refund anything unless you persistently demand it, like everyday. Which is an ordeal and such a headache (still ongoing with police involvement). The customer service, customer relations/risk dept, and management is absolutely terrible. I can't imagine how many other customers were ripped off by unknown fees and when they found out tried getting a refund by this crappy company. Both creditcardprocessing.com and iPayment, Inc (an ISO of Wells Fargo bank) fraudulently opened a second account without our permission back in April of 2016 which they had been charging fees on. The fees were ranging from about $35 to over $120 which I thought was for our physical in store terminal. We opened the account on May, 2014 with Brian M. (senior sales consultant) and he was the only person I contacted for questions or info about our account. Brett E. at creditcardprocessing opened this fraud account without our knowledge, and there were no calls, emails, nor letters from this person to open an account. I have called Brett and left a voicemail but never heard back from him, nor several other sales people at creditcardprocessing.com. I also called the "sales manager" who told me her name was "Sarah" who verbally promised me that she would investigate by looking up a recorded phone call that I had wanted a 2nd account opened (ridiculous) would call me back in 24 hours. I never heard back from "Sarah". So I called back the next day and the customer service rep told me that, " there is no Sarah in this building, the sales manager is named Kim N." So this Kim N. just lied to me by giving me a fake name and never doing what she said she was going to do. Also, no one else there wants to investigate what has happened. They immediately deny everything and blame the customer. They seem to think that an account fraudulently opened isn't a big deal.

Beautiful Visions For Windows

This company stole money for me, in addition they have hidden costs. They took $30.00 from my account for policy reasons that was never said when I open account.

They deny service to organizations fighting corruption, unfairness and environmental protection at the behest of corporations who engage in those things

Poor support when it came down to it. Sent multiple emails to my "rep", and then out of the blue my contract is cancelled, but I was still charged!!!

I was looking for a cash register at the time and I just found them. The thing is that they shouldn't take money from your account without your permission.

Pissed off.

An untrustworthy company. I wish I never did business with. The company is supporting thieves and liars. One star rating, is too good for you.

They were charging me $19.95 a month extra for a product I did not ask for nor did I want it, they slip it in and you have to opt out.
