My wife and I have been following the Boomer Benefits (BB) Facebook page for a couple of years now and have been impressed with the educational content (articles, video presentations, etc.) BB provides on their site. But most of all, we have enjoyed reading the overwhelmingly positive feedback and testimonials by others regarding the professionalism of the BB staff during the initial consultation all the way through the specific Medicare plan choices. And the BB team has consistently received high praises for their backend support with claims and follow-up questions and assistance once the Medicare plans have been purchased. My wife and I recently had our meeting with Chris W to decide on which Medicare plan to choose. Chris was beyond professional, kind, patient and helpful explaining the various choices we had. We highly recommend Boomer Benefits for anyone seeking Medicare coverage in general and Chris W specifically to help guide you through the Medicare labyrinth.

I have received excellent customer care from Boomer Benefits staff from Day 1. I’m especially in awe of the kind and friendly ongoing assistance from Julia P who helped me sign up for the drug coverage. She created a chart that showed what it would cost for the meds I take regularly (nearly all are Tier 1 and cost ZERO dollars). The one that was a Tier 3 and cost considerably more she sent me coupons and showed me what companies provide cheaper prices on various meds. I had a new short term prescription that I needed to fill. My first since going on Medicare and the United Healthcare supplement and WellCare drug coverage. I reached out to her before filling the prescription to find out how much it would cost me. She responded immediately, gave me the info I needed (it was a Tier 1 at zero cost—yay!) and then called me 2 weeks later to make sure everything went smoothly. I am amazed at the individual attention and care and am so happy to have Boomer Benefits by my side!

I contacted Boomer Benefits about a year before my enrollment period so I could start researching my Medicare options. Following my initial investigating on the Boomer Benefits website Tish P contacted me directly. After answering all my questions, we agreed she would contact me in 1 year, just prior to my enrollment period. In the meantime, I watched the Boomer Benefits videos to learn some of the basics on Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans. Like clockwork Tish contacted me 1 year later to get the process moving. She helped me understand my options and what is available in my area. We scheduled a follow-up appointment for the next week so I would have a chance to review all the information and make a decision. Once I made my decision Tish guided me through the entire process. I found Tish to be extremely knowledgeable, helpful and professional in all our communications. During one of our conversations, she needed to reach out to someone on the Boomer Benefits team to be sure the answer to my question was the correct answer. I am very pleased with my experience with Tish and Boomer Benefits.

Woo hoo! I will be 65 in August and that means I get to make the big Medicare coverage decision. So many people express complete confusion over this choice, and it can be daunting to read all of the information available. Being inundated with calls and mailers from Medicare insurance agents in the months leading up to the start of coverages adds to the sense of confusion and of being overwhelmed. I talked to a few companies, ran the numbers online myself, dug into the Medicare website, etc. to become well informed. I chose to use Boomer Benefits so that I would have a partner in the process and an advocate going forward. I also selected them because my consultant, Nikki K, was a delight to work with. She was professional, well informed, energetic, not pushy, and patient. I recommend Boomer Benefits and Nikki absolutely.

I have been a client of Boomer Benefits since the very beginning of my long journey through the Medicare process. Their team made a potential nightmare simple and easy to understand with their extensive knowledge of how the system functions. Most recently I was informed of a substantial monthly premium increase on my supplemental plan and immediately contacted BB to see what options were open to me. My experience with Boomer Benefits was excellent. My agent, Bill W, was fantastic. He was very patient and helpful, making the process of obtaining a supplement one of the easiest experiences that my wife and I have ever had dealing with obtaining a supplement to our Medicare Part B coverage. I couldn't ask for a better person to deal with, with 24 years of Medicare experience he is very knowledgeable and knew exactly what we needed and what was the best available coverage for us. I highly recommend the use of Boomer Benefits for these needs, especially having Bill W handling this for us, He is kind and patient thoroughly answering all of our questions and definitely will recommend him to anyone who needs to obtain this coverage.

Customer service EXTRAORDINAIRE!!! That's what Natasha R provides for Boomer Benefits!! Her employer(s) needs to know what a treasured employee they have representing their company. On March 31st I contacted Boomer Benefits and explained my issue to representative Eileen who answered the phone and patiently listened to everything I had to say and then told me she would forward my concerns to someone who could assist me. It wasn't long after that I received a call from Natasha. She, too, patiently listened to my billing concerns. They were: 1. Incorrect coding - causing a rejection from Medicare. 2. I started receiving delinquent notices in February of this year for this charge rejected by Medicare which I had paid on the day of service back in May of 2022. Without hesitation or delay Natasha promptly reached out to the company in question, got the information she needed and then immediately reached out to the doctor's office for information needed to rectify the charges in question. (Time was of the essence as the one-year deadline for Medicare (3/24) was rapidly approaching.) What should have been a simple fix has taken six weeks. She patiently called the doctor's office numerous times as they kept telling her they would send the necessary documentation for the bill in question but never seemed to get around to it. Natasha has the patience of Job. She remained in constant contact with me, never once displaying frustration, impatience, or signs of capitulating to my case. Instead, as time was running out, she called me this morning to say that it didn't look like we were going to get what we needed from the doctor's off so we should move to the option of filing an appeal with Medicare before the 5/24 deadline. I was getting ready to dial the company who was billing me to let them know that I had documentation of payment when my phone rang, and it was Natasha again telling me that she had decided to call one more time to see if the company received the necessary documents from the doctor who kept promising to send them. They told her that they made some adjustments to my account, and it now had a zero balance. They would not elaborate if they received what they needed from the doctor's office or if they found the payment that I made a year ago when I was there. I decided to place a call myself and let them tell me that my account had a zero balance. When they did, I asked point blank if they received what they needed from the doctor's office so the insurance company would cover the charges. After some hesitation claiming she had to read the notes, she indeed confirmed that the documents had just arrived a few minutes ago and the bill was now covered by the insurance. GREAT... I then told her she could reimburse the payment I made a year ago. She still insisted that my credit card was denied, and they had not received payment. I told her that I would send her a copy of my bank statement showing payment to them the day I was there. I could not have come to this conclusion without Natasha. Thank you for your dedicated service!!! As long as I am with Boomer Benefits, I will be seeking you out for any assistance, if needed. You ROCK!!!

Jacob N is the most friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and effective representative I have EVER spoken to about my Medicare sign up and benefits. AND HIS SERVICES ARE FREE! I found BoomerBenefits.com after I read the book (Kindle) "10 Costly Medicare Mistakes You Can't Afford to Make" by Danielle K Roberts. This is a must-read Medicare book. It has so much important information. As for BoomerBenefits.com, I am very impressed by how good, patient, and knowledgeable Tina K (Medicare Sales Agent) is. Before I contacted BoomerBenefits.com, I had studied Medicare for a while. So, Medicare is not totally brand new to me. What Tina K helped me was... she put all things together, intelligently. I highly recommend BoomerBenefits.com especially with Tina K helps... you will not be disappointed. The good: Honesty, knowledgeable, straight forward, no playing games, no time-consuming, no BS The bad: I have not found yet.

Michelle W was a great help to me. My wife used to handle the medical stuff for our household, and I handled the bills. My wife did a lot of research when we became eligible for Medicare and found Boomer Benefits to be the most helpful and was very knowledgeable about everything that was available. However, my wife died suddenly on January 5th of this year, after a short stay in the hospital. I am not sure of the exact cause, so I am checking her medical records to find out. I finally got around to making sure our Medicare stuff was in order, so I called Boomer Benefits. Michelle talked me through the information they had about our disabled, special needs, adopted son and helped me understand the coverages he has and what I should expect in the future. We also talked about the providers and coverages for me. I asked her to email all of the details to me, so I have a written record for my files. Michelle said I could check back at any time and especially around October 15th of each year to review everything and make sure the providers and coverages we have are still our best choice. Michelle is a wonderful person and helped me very much.

Boomer Benefits assisted me in 2019 to obtain a quality Medigap policy, and has been good about following up to check in and shop the rate near renewal time since then. I recently received a notice ahead of my upcoming renewal date that the monthly premium with my carrier would be increasing by almost 20% from the prior year. I contacted Boomer Benefits and Lane E assisted me in finding and securing the same plan G policy for a substantially lower premium than I was previously paying, much to my relief. Lane was knowledgeable, courteous and helpful with the application process and within two days my application was approved, my replacement policy issued, and my prior policy discontinued, all at no additional cost to me other than the 25-30 minutes of my time it took to complete the telephone application process with Lane. I will continue to use the services of Boomer Benefits and heartily recommend them, and Lane, to others needing Medicare/ Medigap assistance.

My husband and I just signed up and were approved for Supplemental Insurance under Medicare. I turned to Boomer Benefits to get this done after trying to do it on my own and being very frustrated by the lack of comprehensive information and choice. It turns out that 'dealing direct' or more specifically, dealing with agents who only handle one medical healthcare insurance company too often results in the customer getting cherry-picked, incomplete and/or skewed information about the options and insurers. The prices quoted also vary! I thus turned to Boomer Benefits for their service. I found the company, and specifically their Medicare Sales Agent, Nigel R, to be just what I was looking for. Nigel had the patience of Job, was flexible, happy to take the time to answer the long list of questions I had developed -- both over the phone and by email -- and, upon request, was always happy to circle back to confirm, and then reconfirm, our status within the (unfortunately purposefully Byzantine) insurance approval process. Because of Nigel's prompt, professional and client-centered service at the front end, we are now confident that Boomer Benefits is the best company for us going forward as we begin to navigate down the healthcare insurance path ahead. I quickly became overwhelmed by the sheer volume of information about my impending change from employer provided insurances to the Medicare programs. I had waded through the internet quagmire and thought I had it figured out. During my searches, I found Boomer Benefits and decided to take advantage of their knowledge and services. I've already done a review of the service I enjoyed specific to my Parts A, B and C decisions. Then, it was on to Part D. Madison M drew the short straw and was assigned to me, showing great patience with all my questions and getting them all answered to my satisfaction. What fantastic service from Nicholas P and Dustin A. My initial call was to Dustin. He spent all the time i needed explaining Medicsre and the plans to me. So patient with me. oh my gosh !!! i spoke with Trey D incredible !! i have such a feeling of peace of mind about this whole medicare buisness, i was all confused,then i stumbled upon and i listened to the videos with Danielle R, and right away just thought, these are the people that will really help me. i got to speak with Trey D, he tried to telephone me 2 times, i was not able to speak, and the 3rd time we got to speak this morning, and he was SO helpful !! we both spoke real quick, number, facts, numbers, facts, numbers, facts, numbers and more numbers... we got alot of ground covered, and now here i sit with nothing but peacefulness in me as i will wait for my turn to come to join the other Americans on medicare, thanks to Trey D, i am actually excited !! I chose Boomer Benefits in 2018 because of their high ratings and my research that concluded that going with Medicare/Medigap agents has more advantages than not doing so. They helped me set up Medicare Part A, B, D and Medigap Plan G. In October 2022, I decided to replace my Medicare Part D and /Medigap Plan G with a Medicare Advantage Plan (Medicare Part C). Maritza is the Boomer Benefits agent who contacted me. The first call was before Medicare enrollment began, so we discussed what I wanted. The next call after enrollment began, we went over the Advantage Plan that I wanted while talking to her on the phone as well as following her requests on my computer. It took about 2 1/2 hours and I was initially all set. A few more calls were needed to iron out some problems. Maritza quickly resolved these problems and I was officially enrolled starting January 1st. Thank you, Maritza! January proved to be a medical test for my chosen Advantage Plan as well as cost of drugs by the plan. I had root canal and two weeks later a filling on the same tooth. The cost of my drug prescriptions were lower than I thought they would be. So, even though this is a late review, Maritza, you did a great job! Boomer Benefits is definitely the right choice I made in 2018 for my Medicare needs!

Great big shout out to Alexis P at Boomer Benefits for saving me from being sent to collections! Last year I started receiving invoices from a well-known lab telling me that I owed money for some routine bloodwork. Over many months, I spent hours on the phone between the lab's billing department and my doctor's office trying to rectify the situation. Each time my doctor's office would assure me that they had re-submitted and it was all taken care of and, a few days later, the lab would send me another bill saying that I still owed the money. When I went to my doctor's office for an in-person follow-up visit in early December, they insisted that this time it was really taken care of. A few days later I received yet another invoice letting me know that if I did not pay that I would be turned over to collections. In desperation I reached out to Alexis P at Boomer Benefits who calmly assured me that she would get to the bottom of it. A few short weeks later, I am pleased to report that I now owe nothing, and my credit has been saved! All I really knew about it was that my signup date ‘window’ had arrived and that’s about it. I began my quest to learn about the possibilities for Medicare a few years ago, before I was actually ready to take the plunge. I came across Boomer Benefits FB Q and A group and decided to learn more. BB also has a lot of great info on their web pages. This fall I finally decided I was going to retire and wanted to complete my applications for my Medigap and Part D Plans. I attempted to contact one of the agents I had been in touch with the previous years when I was still working. Instead, I heard from a different agent- Latisha (Tish) P who readily took over on my case and was able to get me all hooked up. This was all during the mad rush during open enrollment and the beginning of the holiday season through december. And I was needing to be set up by Jan this year. "Long Story Short", I signed up for Medicare Part B several years after I was first eligible...because I was covered by corporate group insurance. Of course, that fact caused (a still ongoing, I must add) issue with SSA & Medicare because I had to provide them with proof of my group insurance and, well, it just takes SSA a long time to catch up to information they receive. And Boomer Benefits has been an incredible help, advocate and partner in helping me to navigate the situation! My two original contacts, Amy Boling and Bree Walker were both extremely knowledgeable and professional in helping me decide and get signed up for Plan G and Part D coverages. And, I can't say enough about what an amazing, professional, organized, proactive help Michelle Weingart has been in assisting me with my continued navigation through the SSA/Medicare system to make sure my information is correctly reflected with my carriers; again...since SSA/Medicare are bureaucratic behemoths. She has been tirelessly positive, organized and as I mentioned prior, proactive in the help she has afforded me in dealing with what has ended up to be quite a substantial and challenging important life project!!

I had several questions about several areas of Medicare, and she is working on all of them or forwarding them to the department that deals with that area of Medicare. After receiving statements stating that MCR denied blood work ordered by the physician I made numerous calls to the billing department that failed to correct the coding. I called Boomer Benefis and in comes Janay F. I know this clinic is very frustrating to deal with but Janay kept at it and was successful in getting the coding corrected and the bill paid for by MCR. Boomer Benefits has the very best customer services I have ever known. I'm more than happy to share the wonderful experience I have had with Boomer Benefits and specifically with my Boomer representative, Chloe H! I had been reading about the Plan G benefit and decided to take a look into it prior to a scheduled surgery. I had declined to leave my employer provided insurance plan when I hit 65 and was worried that I wouldn't have enough time to make the switch before the surgery date. Chloe presented me with a Plan G program option through AARP's UnitedHeathcare Supplemental policy, which is unbelievable, along with a great Plan D drug benefit through Aetna. She took care of everything and walked me through each step I needed to take in order to have my Medicare coverage active prior to my surgery date. Only through Chloe's help, was I able to save thousands of dollars that I would have had to pay under my old employer based plan. Here's the best part, my Plan G deductible for the entire year is only $245 and my Plan G renewal premium is locked in at a fixed rate! A huge shout out to Chloe H and Boomer Benefits!

I have been with Boomerbenifits when I first applied for Medicare in 2021. Peter M helped me find a new prescription plan for 2023 with the best premium and the lowest cost for my medications. Today he brought the insurance person on the phone to resolve my prescription cost that should have been lower since I am out of a donut hole. it took 30 minutes to resolve it and Peter stayed on line till it was done to my satisfaction. He is the one I call for any issues. This is the benefit one get for being with Boomerbenefit because they have a full staff to assist than an individual offering their service as an insurance agent. When I was Medicare eligible I had already researched the quagmire of Medicare when my husband was eligible. I thought I understood a lot but my Boomers Benefits agent a year ago, Jessica Y, patiently answered all my question and finally I got a very clear understanding of the options, the costs, the quality of insurance companies, etc. This year I worked with Sandra Cordova during open enrollment. She also was responsive, direct and very helpful in answering my questions. One major thing I like about BB is they will only represent quality insurance companies in terms of their financial viability and customer responsiveness. Justin K made the Medicare nightmare disappear! He is Professional, Informative, Honest, Understanding & also has an Outstanding Personality. After reading & searching for answers online I felt I was ready to speak to an Insurance company I had chose and I called them on the phone. After the call…something didn’t seem exactly right to me. I had Bad Vibes! Again, back to internet searching for particular answers to certain questions about my rights signing up with a company for the first time. I then discovered Boomer Benefits. I simply called to ask 1 question to clarify if what I was told by another independent insurance company was actually correct in how I discovered they wanted to proceed if I were to sign up with them. Justin answered all my questions!! He actually made me feel so much better about the Medicare sign up process…than the other company I had called. As a result, I felt so good about everything & the way he explained things to me…that I decided to call him back the very next day & had him sign me up with a plan. I called to learn more about Medicare and my additional coverage options. I talked with Jacob C and asked him all the questions I had prepared during my earlier research regarding Medicare, Advantage, and Supplemental plans. Jacob answered all my initial questions to my satisfaction. We set up a 2nd call date/time for a week later. After more research on my part, Jacob called on the scheduled date and at the exact minute as planned. After my wellness medical check and lab work, I received lab billing including charges for PSA lab. After calling my medical office and lab office- both claimed they could do nothing, both claiming it was not their fault for billing errors- "it was the other guy". I contacted Boomer Benefits for help. Jasmine B, client representative, was Boomer B. agent that assisted me: telling me about problems with Medicare errors in billing coding and advising me in which direction to correct billing. Jasmine B contacted my medical office and laboratory billing department to coordinate Medicare billing claim disputes. Jasmine B kept me informed about actions being taken and results. She also phoned me after Medicare paid for lab work and informed no further charges from lab services. It was V ERY NICE to have someone to talk with that was competent and knowledgeable in Medicare billing services to communicate with Medicare and my medical services. Medicare bill coding is very confusing and complicated. I did not even understand Medicare's letter explaining dispute results. It is wonderful to have someone on your side who understands Medicare coding problems and how to resolve them. I just wonder how many other people that were charged for laboratory services should have been paid my Medicare- only because of bill coding error. I can’t say enough about Catherine H and Boomer Benefits. She is a total pro when it comes to the web that is Medicare! I asked her a ton of questions and she replied immediately without having to look anything up. She’s an excellent communicator and a consummate professional. There were no sale tactics, just the facts. I highly recommend Catherine and Boomer Benefits. They provide a priceless service for Medicare beneficiaries that includes . back end customer service after sign up. Janay F helped me appeal a denial by giving me a different code under which my Dr visit was covered. My provider company changed their name and hired a 3rd party billing company that acted like a collection company from the start. They had no interest in helping me solve the problem they created by using the wrong code. I noted they would have gotten the full charge out of me. Medicare covers a fraction of what they charge. No insurance company pays that charge; just people with no coverage. Watch out. The healthcare industry is just another large corporation looking to get as much money as they can. Janay helped me provide all the information necessary and my visit was covered. Saved me $243. I imagine my provider company changed their name to save them from liability for this kind of dishonest, or incompetent behavior. It was a relief to know I had some professional support.

I signed up for Medicare and Anthem Blue Cross (supplemental plan) through Boomer Benefits. When I was denied by Medicare for two claims, I spoke to the Claims Specialist, Elizabeth D and asked for help. She was calm, reassuring, and knowledgeable. She communicated with me through several phone calls and emails to update me on the progress. She worked with me every step of the way. It was comforting to know she had the expertise to help me in resolving the issue. She never made me feel rushed or that I was a bother. She made me feel like I was her only client. I felt like I was in very good hands. It is comforting to know there is someone who is there to help if issues arise. I appreciate the excellent customer service and being treated well.

Following a couple of recommendations I first got in touch with Boomer Benefits a couple of years ago, once I qualified for Medicare but wasn't ready to jump in because still working full-time with benefits. During this time Tyler W has been helping me with any questions, etc. Even though still working I have decided to jump in and this morning Tyler made it super easy to sign up for part G and has sent me the links I need for my employer documentation and Part B application. I am not sure why the government makes it so intentionally complicated, good thing Boomer Benefits can at least streamline it.

I left a 5 star rating on another site 10 months ago when I first got started with Boomer Benefits. I need to update that at this point because I have had 2 surgeries, moved to a new city, changed my name, insurance! What a mess. Boomer Benefits has made it easy for me the entire way. They’ve enabled me to bypass the pain of dealing with insurance companies. The last agent in particular, Julia P, I should mention was able to push through an authorization for me for a necessary medication that neither the doctor or pharmacy could do a thing about. So I thank Julia for that. They have the knowledge if you have the questions. I still do highly recommend Boomer Benefits.

I am 68 years old and have been holding off retirement because the whole Medicare and supplemental process seemed so overwhelming. I would get huge books in the mail which immediately went into recycling. Broke my hip in January and my company put me on Cobra without informing me. Didn't find out until I went for a follow up visit for my hip and on the way home from the visit I received a call from the office my insurance had been terminated. I did receive a Cobra letter in the mail the next day, but I was in a panic. I had been following Boomer Benefits on Facebook for a couple of years so I asked my daughter to check out this company. Once i got the yes from my daughter I made the phone call I had been putting off for years. Best call I have ever made. Linda H was so kind, so talking me off a ledge, so knowledgeable and just all around wonderful. I actually started calling her Saint Linda. And I called Saint Linda probably more times with questions then I call my children. Even with our time difference she returned my calls promptly. To make a long story short ( I realize it's too late for that). This is one of the absolute best phone calls I have ever made. Thank You Linda H and Thank you Boomer Benefits for making this so easy. I think it is criminal that this process is so confusing for the general population. Maybe it's just me it is so confusing but I am getting to the point in my life where I am approaching getting old. So Thank You Saint Linda and Thank You Boomer Benefits.
