I began my quest to learn about the possibilities for Medicare a few years ago, before I was actually ready to take the plunge. I came across Boomer Benefits FB Q and A group and decided to learn more. BB also has a lot of great info on their web pages. This fall I finally decided I was going to retire and wanted to complete my applications for my Medigap and Part D Plans. I attempted to contact one of the agents I had been in touch with the previous years when I was still working. Instead, I heard from a different agent- Latisha (Tish) P who readily took over on my case and was able to get me all hooked up. This was all during the mad rush during open enrollment and the beginning of the holiday season through december. And I was needing to be set up by Jan this year. Despite all of the hubbub and our own vacations, we were able to accomplish my goals. Thanks to everyone involved and I really felt valued. And special thanks to Tish.

"Long Story Short", I signed up for Medicare Part B several years after I was first eligible...because I was covered by corporate group insurance. Of course, that fact caused (a still ongoing, I must add) issue with SSA & Medicare because I had to provide them with proof of my group insurance and, well, it just takes SSA a long time to catch up to information they receive. And Boomer Benefits has been an incredible help, advocate and partner in helping me to navigate the situation!
My two original contacts, Amy Boling and Bree Walker were both extremely knowledgeable and professional in helping me decide and get signed up for Plan G and Part D coverages.
And, I can't say enough about what an amazing, professional, organized, proactive help Michelle Weingart has been in assisting me with my continued navigation through the SSA/Medicare system to make sure my information is correctly reflected with my carriers; again...since SSA/Medicare are bureaucratic behemoths. She has been tirelessly positive, organized and as I mentioned prior, proactive in the help she has afforded me in dealing with what has ended up to be quite a substantial and challenging important life project!!

I needed to see if changing from Medicare Parts A, B and D to an advantage plan would work better for me. Even though Medicare does a good job laying out the information, there’s just a lot of it. I had heard of Boomer Benefits previously and had listened to some of their videos. With that, I contacted Boomer Benefits and within a very short time Leah R. called me. She was very professional, polite, and kind. She listened to what I needed and found the best plan for me. She was very helpful, explained what I would be getting, and followed up on any questions that I had. Leah, thank you.

Allyson G spent a great deal of time with me explaining the different parts of Medicare. I had several questions about several areas of Medicare, and she is working on all of them or forwarding them to the department that deals with that area of Medicare. I appreciated her patience and kindness at the end of the day when we talked. I was so frustrated and anxious and on the verge of tears and Allyson was kind enough to repeat some dates and open up a case for a lost RX I had filled and couldn’t find 3 weeks ago. Allyson went the extra step in explaining coverage for different plans and answering my questions. I know I can call her with my Medicare questions and know she will listen and give me direction.

After receiving statements stating that MCR denied blood work ordered by the physician I made numerous calls to the billing department that failed to correct
the coding.
I called Boomer Benefis and
in comes Janay F.
I know this clinic is very frustrating to deal with but Janay kept at it and was successful in getting the coding corrected and the bill paid for by MCR.
Boomer Benefits has the very best customer services I have ever known. Janay is brilliant and kept us informed throughout the process, she wasn't going to give up and even went the extra mile in
continually following up with the clinic making sure they were working on correcting their error.

My husband and I have received a tremendous amount of help, education and guidance from Boomer Benefits over the past several years. Boomer Benefits also provides a huge service to the entire community of senior citizens in the U.S. by helping us to navigate Medicare, Medicare supplements and Medicare Part D policies, all without charge to us.
Today, Jasleen S helped my husband and I during the 2022 Medicare Open Enrollment Period for the year 2023, to find and sign up for the most cost-effective Part D plan available in our area for the medications we are presently taking.
Their representatives are well-trained, kind and courteous. I am so glad that for us senior citizens, this company "has our backs."

I'm more than happy to share the wonderful experience I have had with Boomer Benefits and specifically with my Boomer representative, Chloe H!
I had been reading about the Plan G benefit and decided to take a look into it prior to a scheduled surgery.
I had declined to leave my employer provided insurance plan when I hit 65 and was worried that I wouldn't have enough time to make the switch before the surgery date.
Chloe presented me with a Plan G program option through AARP's UnitedHeathcare Supplemental policy, which is unbelievable, along with a great Plan D drug benefit through Aetna.
She took care of everything and walked me through each step I needed to take in order to have my Medicare coverage active prior to my surgery date.
Only through Chloe's help, was I able to save thousands of dollars that I would have had to pay under my old employer based plan.
Here's the best part, my Plan G deductible for the entire year is only $245 and my Plan G renewal premium is locked in at a fixed rate!

I have been with Boomerbenifits when I first applied for Medicare in 2021. Peter M helped me find a new prescription plan for 2023 with the best premium and the lowest cost for my medications.
Today he brought the insurance person on the phone to resolve my prescription cost that should have been lower since I am out of a donut hole. it took 30 minutes to resolve it and Peter stayed on line till it was done to my satisfaction. He is the one I call for any issues.
This is the benefit one get for being with Boomerbenefit because they have a full staff to assist than an individual offering their service as an insurance agent.
Call them up and you won't regret.

When I was Medicare eligible I had already researched the quagmire of Medicare when my husband was eligible. I thought I understood a lot but my Boomers Benefits agent a year ago, Jessica Y, patiently answered all my question and finally I got a very clear understanding of the options, the costs, the quality of insurance companies, etc. This year I worked with Sandra Cordova during open enrollment. She also was responsive, direct and very helpful in answering my questions. One major thing I like about BB is they will only represent quality insurance companies in terms of their financial viability and customer responsiveness. They is very important should you ever have a Medicare claim problem. Thank you Boomer Benefits!

Justin K made the Medicare nightmare disappear! He is Professional, Informative, Honest, Understanding & also has an Outstanding Personality. After reading & searching for answers online I felt I was ready to speak to an Insurance company I had chose and I called them on the phone. After the call…something didn’t seem exactly right to me. I had Bad Vibes! Again, back to internet searching for particular answers to certain questions about my rights signing up with a company for the first time. I then discovered Boomer Benefits. I simply called to ask 1 question to clarify if what I was told by another independent insurance company was actually correct in how I discovered they wanted to proceed if I were to sign up with them. Justin answered all my questions!! He actually made me feel so much better about the Medicare sign up process…than the other company I had called. As a result, I felt so good about everything & the way he explained things to me…that I decided to call him back the very next day & had him sign me up with a plan. I thought so highly of Justin…that I suggested to my husband that he should talk to Justin in the near future when it was his time to sign up for Medicare. My husband did talk with Justin & also signed up for Medicare this year, too! It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with Justin K & Boomer Benefits. I called to learn more about Medicare and my additional coverage options. I talked with Jacob C and asked him all the questions I had prepared during my earlier research regarding Medicare, Advantage, and Supplemental plans. Jacob answered all my initial questions to my satisfaction. We set up a 2nd call date/time for a week later. After more research on my part, Jacob called on the scheduled date and at the exact minute as planned. Again, Jacob was professional, knowledgeable, and most of all, did not hurry me through another round of questions I needed further explanations on.
In the end, I was more than happy to sign up through Boomer Benefits with my Supplemental plan.

This is my third year of calling Boomer Benefits to make sure I'm getting the best coverage and price for my Plan G Medi Gap Supplemental Policy. Larry W is the benefits person that I talked with and he spent an hour with me on the phone going over every plan available in my area trying to obtain a better price structure for me.
He was extremely patient, knowledge, explanatory and tried every avenue to help. Unfortunately, the plan I have worked out to be the best plan for me. However, you should call and ask for Larry W if you need assistance with anything related to a
Medicare policy.

I received quotes for Medicare Medi-gap and Part D plans from a number of licensed insurance brokers. I ended up going with Boomer Benefits based on their Medicare knowledge and experience. Linda H was wonderful to work with on the Medi-gap plan. Her knowledge of the plans and state specific rules really helped us make a good decision. Juliette T helped us find the best Part D plan for our individual circumstances. She responded right away to all my questions and stayed with us with great follow until our plans were approved and in place. October through December is the time when many Medicare eligible people make a choice of what type of Medicare supplement coverage they'll need for the oncoming year. It is a worrisome time full of anxieties and blood pressure raising decisions that could put you in the hospital. I have been with Boomer Benefits for a few years. Maritza K is my agent. She and Boomer Benefits have given me the information to make a difficult decision easy. I was provided information about Medicare supplemental insurance and the companies that provide the best coverage in my area of South Carolina. I was also given answers to the many questions I had about the coverage and cost.
During the process of choosing, Ms. K remained in contact with me. She made sure I was okay with the information provided. I made my decision with her help. I am happy with my choice of plans. Thank you Maritza!
However, this is not the end of my story. I want people to know that Boomer Benefits should be first on your list when choosing a company/agent that will help you choose the best healthcare plan for you. Picking Boomer Benefits via a friend’s recommendation proved invaluable as I encountered a problem with Medicare. Maritza K was patient and encouraging even with erroneous information coming from a staff member at Medicare. Multiple calls later my involuntary loss of coverage was reinstated and I cannot thank enough her for the excess time she spent in the background and on conference calls getting to the heart of the problem. Her follow up calls were as scheduled given her many other clients. Maritza’s knowledge of “the system “ is excellent and she admitted to have learned another valuable aspect as a result of our encounter with Medicare.

After my wellness medical check and lab work, I received lab billing including charges for PSA lab. After calling my medical office and lab office- both claimed they could do nothing, both claiming it was not their fault for billing errors- "it was the other guy". I contacted Boomer Benefits for help. Jasmine B, client representative, was Boomer B. agent that assisted me: telling me about problems with Medicare errors in billing coding and advising me in which direction to correct billing. Jasmine B contacted my medical office and laboratory billing department to coordinate Medicare billing claim disputes. Jasmine B kept me informed about actions being taken and results. She also phoned me after Medicare paid for lab work and informed no further charges from lab services. It was V ERY NICE to have someone to talk with that was competent and knowledgeable in Medicare billing services to communicate with Medicare and my medical services. Medicare bill coding is very confusing and complicated. I did not even understand Medicare's letter explaining dispute results.
It is wonderful to have someone on your side who understands Medicare coding problems and how to resolve them. I just wonder how many other people that were charged for laboratory services should have been paid my Medicare- only because of bill coding error.

I can’t say enough about Catherine H and Boomer Benefits. She is a total pro when it comes to the web that is Medicare! Janay F helped me appeal a denial by giving me a different code under which my Dr visit was covered. My provider company changed their name and hired a 3rd party billing company that acted like a collection company from the start. They had no interest in helping me solve the problem they created by using the wrong code. I noted they would have gotten the full charge out of me. Medicare covers a fraction of what they charge. No insurance company pays that charge; just people with no coverage. Watch out. The healthcare industry is just another large corporation looking to get as much money as they can. Janay helped me provide all the information necessary and my visit was covered. Saved me $243. I imagine my provider company changed their name to save them from liability for this kind of dishonest, or incompetent behavior. It was a relief to know I had some professional support.

I signed up for Medicare and Anthem Blue Cross (supplemental plan) through Boomer Benefits. When I was denied by Medicare for two claims, I spoke to the Claims Specialist, Elizabeth D and asked for help. She was calm, reassuring, and knowledgeable. She communicated with me through several phone calls and emails to update me on the progress. She worked with me every step of the way. It was comforting to know she had the expertise to help me in resolving the issue. She never made me feel rushed or that I was a bother. She made me feel like I was her only client. I felt like I was in very good hands. It is comforting to know there is someone who is there to help if issues arise. I appreciate the excellent customer service and being treated well.

Following a couple of recommendations I first got in touch with Boomer Benefits a couple of years ago, once I qualified for Medicare but wasn't ready to jump in because still working full-time with benefits. During this time Tyler W has been helping me with any questions, etc. Even though still working I have decided to jump in and this morning Tyler made it super easy to sign up for part G and has sent me the links I need for my employer documentation and Part B application. I am not sure why the government makes it so intentionally complicated, good thing Boomer Benefits can at least streamline it.

I left a 5 star rating on another site 10 months ago when I first got started with Boomer Benefits. I need to update that at this point because I have had 2 surgeries, moved to a new city, changed my name, insurance! What a mess. Boomer Benefits has made it easy for me the entire way. They’ve enabled me to bypass the pain of dealing with insurance companies. The last agent in particular, Julia P, I should mention was able to push through an authorization for me for a necessary medication that neither the doctor or pharmacy could do a thing about. So I thank Julia for that. They have the knowledge if you have the questions. I still do highly recommend Boomer Benefits.

I am 68 years old and have been holding off retirement because the whole Medicare and supplemental process seemed so overwhelming. I would get huge books in the mail which immediately went into recycling. Broke my hip in January and my company put me on Cobra without informing me. Didn't find out until I went for a follow up visit for my hip and on the way home from the visit I received a call from the office my insurance had been terminated. I did receive a Cobra letter in the mail the next day, but I was in a panic. I had been following Boomer Benefits on Facebook for a couple of years so I asked my daughter to check out this company. Once i got the yes from my daughter I made the phone call I had been putting off for years. Best call I have ever made. Linda H was so kind, so talking me off a ledge, so knowledgeable and just all around wonderful. I actually started calling her Saint Linda. And I called Saint Linda probably more times with questions then I call my children. Even with our time difference she returned my calls promptly. To make a long story short ( I realize it's too late for that). This is one of the absolute best phone calls I have ever made. Thank You Linda H and Thank you Boomer Benefits for making this so easy. I think it is criminal that this process is so confusing for the general population. Maybe it's just me it is so confusing but I am getting to the point in my life where I am approaching getting old. The personal touch is definitely most appreciated here. We called and worked with Lilly H. - she was so professional, personable and prompt - we greatly appreciate her advice and easy way of explaining the plethora of options available to us "newcomers" to the Medicare age and supplement plans. After doing my own Medicare enrollment research, I called Boomer Benefits. I worked with the amazing Tish P from Boomer Benefits. She easily gets an A++ rating from me! Tish answered my dozens of questions over several phone call “appointments.” She called when she said she would call and always took the time to explain every little detail. She did not pressure me to make any choices. Tish made me feel like she cared about the big decisions I was making. Thanks to Tish, my husband and I are both Boomer Benefits customers and we feel confident their team will be available if we ever need their help. I recently completed the sign-up process for Medicare and selected Boomer Benefits to assist me. I worked with two representatives from Boomer Benefits; Kelly D (who helped me with the sign up) and Peter M (who helped me resolve a problem that arose in regard to the payment of premiums for additional coverage). Both of these individuals provided absolutely great customer service. Due to the general complexity of signing up for Medicare and the fact that the private insurer providing additional insurance made an incorrect assumption about billing preferences, my start up coverage and my partners existing coverage were disrupted. Correcting this situation required multiple phone calls with both Kelly and Peter and the involvement of the insurer and AARP. During this situation, both Kelly and Peter were completely professional. They provided accurate and effective information and solutions, interfaced between the insurer and us to enact the fix and repeatedly called us back (when they said they would!) to insure that a successful conclusion was attained. In this time of companies offering less and less service, this was a testament to business as it should be done.

Since retiring 5 years ago I have received excellent support, expertise and resolutions any time I call Boomer Benefits. I have had the pleasure of working with multiple agents as they excel at their position and move up to more challenging positions, all most kind and helpful. Since last December I have been so fortunate to work with Elizabeth D. She is so dedicated and knowledgeable. She is always prompt to reply to my questions and needs. She was able to guide me and correct my previous mistake changing from Plan F to Plan G. I had been very satisfied with Plan F. But suggested by friends Plan G better. After making the change I regretted it immediately. I had been advised changing back to Plan F would not be a problem but it was very difficult. So Elizabeth D was able to facilitate the change. Unfortunately there was confusion with my providers billing incorrectly. Elizabeth D was able to sorted out the confusion and providers got their payment. I was completely overwhelmed and stressed to the max. Elizabeth D was very calm, patient, empathic and professional till all resolved. I can not thank her and Boomer Benefits enough for getting this resolved. I appreciate her so much and I hope Boomer Benefits does as well!

I really made a good decision in selecting Boomer Benefits in assisting me in enrolling to my Medicare supplement and prescription. Last May, I had a big bill from my health provider regarding some medical tests that I was told that Medicare does not cover. I immediately contacted Tyler W, the Boomer Benefits representative that helped me enroll to my Medicare supplement. The following day, I got a call and an email from Janay F, Claim Specialist of Boomer Benefits, to discuss my issue. I was really surprised and impressed for her quick response to help me on my concern. After providing her all the information she needed, Janay told me that she will work on my issue and would update me on any developments. She updated me all the way and finally, thru her help, the issue was resolved. Janay found that there were some coding errors made which my health provider corrected and then resubmitted my claim and Medicare took care of the bill. I really appreciate the effort that Janay put into this to assist me. I find Janay knowledgeable on what she does, compassionate and friendly.
What Janay did for me is just one of a classic example on how Boomer Benefits take care of their client. They are the best company to deal with regarding Medicare. In fact, I already recommended Boomer Benefits to my family. And to all who are joining Medicare soon, I highly recommend Boomer Benefits to help you in your enrolment since their customer service does not stop there. I would like to say how impressed I am with the support I have gotten from Boomer. I signed up for Medicare Part B last August and Boomer got me the N plan. Been real happy with it but in the beginning even though I told my doctors offices I had Medicare they still billed my insurance I had when I was working. I called Boomer and they assigned me Elizabeth D as my personal representative to help me resolve my billing issues which Medicare had denied. She is the kindest knowledgeable person anyone could ask for. She explained everything perfectly and really put my mind at ease. I had a real issue with one provider that took several months for her to resolve, but without her assistance I don't believe the billing would have been corrected. I had no luck dealing with the billing department but Elizabeth worked through it and fixed everything. She is my guardian angel. I love her commitment to the customer and she will be forever in my gratitude. Boomer has a real gem in Elizabeth.

I have been receiving immunotherapy treatment for liver cancer for several months now and was experiencing Nausea and lack of appetite a new medicine that was prescribed for me was not being approved by Medicare or my Medicare advantage plan when it was supposed to be a wonderful agent helped me to get my medicine paid for and it has been a real blessing. Best decision! After having a bad experience with another insurance company giving me incorrect information not in my best financial interest on Medicare supplemental plans plus being rude doing it, I pivoted to another answer. I found Boomers Benefits in my research and made a great decision to call. I could navigate the new Medicare supplemental process myself BUT I knew when you have trouble with claims, questions and need someone in your corner you are better served with a insurance company that can provide the help. I called and was thrilled to find Sarah. She addressed all my concerns, answered my questions and found a supplemental plan carrier I was comfortable enrolling with. She was lovely to work with. When I was trying to get a secondary insurance for my Medicare someone told me to call Boomer Benefits. Amy B was so awesome. She explained everything to me and answered every question I had and I had a lot being new to all this. She helped me pick a plan that met my needs. She also helped me pick a Part D plan. I provided her with a list of my meds and she was able to get me with the best company that met my needs. Her customer service is beyond awesome. At the recommendation of my husband who had good experience working with Matthew M and Boomer Benefits, I contacted Matthew recently and started the Medicare process with him.
He and his team, which included Becca J and Cheyanne K, were very knowledgeable, great at explaining details, and patient with me. He took the time to understand my needs then provided choices of plans, their pros and cons so I could think through and take the necessary time to make the decisions. He told me from the beginning that his help would not cost us anything. Boomer Benefits represents many insurance companies that pay them instead. I really like the software that helps with the drug plans. You are asked to provide your current medications, dosages and frequencies and the software would calculate the estimated costs for the various plans so you can pick the best one. Similarly Mathew would ask me questions about my dental needs and search for the best options. Once I chose the plans, Matthew and his team applied them on my behalf and informed me the approval process every step of the way.
I’m very pleased with the process and feel that with help from Mathew and his team, I got the best plans with the most benefits for my own case. I highly recommend Mathew and Boomer Benefits to anyone who has questions or concerns related to Medicare. You should give them a call.

Like most people turning 65, I was faced with investigating Original Medicare (Parts A & B) along with finding a drug plan and supplemental coverage. I first turned to Medicare .gov and SSA .gov and read their webpages and on-line articles. After hours of being on hold with each and talking to representatives, I soon realized I needed to take a much deeper dive into research to understand the consequences of the decisions I needed to make. I came across mention of Boomer Benefits during my Internet research and decided to reach out for their perspective. I looked at their website and felt they had a fresh and non-biased approach to Medicare. I was initially contacted by Justin K who logically and patiently explained the various plans for supplemental coverage and the differences between them. I signed up for some webinars offered by Boomer Benefits which were packed full of meaningful and relevant information. There was no selling - only presentation of details, Medicare rules and regulations, how typical experiences flow and what to avoid so as not to create problems or difficult situation to unwind. After completing the application for supplemental coverages and being accepted, Justin handed me over to Bree W who assisted in procuring Part D drug coverage. She sent me links to tools to gather initial information and then sent me plan comparisons to evaluate and eventually select and sign up for well in advance of my plan start date. She was very helpful in answering my many question and again patient and logical. Throughout this Medicare process, Boomer Benefits made me feel supported and valued; not as just a customer but also as a person. They will always be an advocate for their clients; something that they use in their marketing materials but also something that they actually mean. I would definitely recommend Boomer Benefits to other 'boomers' I know -- and actually have already!

With my Medicare sign-up window quickly approaching, and the emails, and the phone calls, and the amount of USPS stuff coming in each and every day, I was absolutely overwhelmed. Didn't know where to begin and, quite frankly, was beginning to lose interest -- which I knew could not happen.
Thankfully ran across Boomer Benefits online and I have to tell you, it was an absolute godsend.
I never use the phone. I hate to use the phone. Thankfully Trey D was pretty darn consistent about calling/emailing me about jumping on the phone with him.
I can see why he insisted on the phone call rather than email, which I always suggest and prefer. He explained every single part of Medicare in meticulous detail, offering me lots of options and helping me get signed up every step of the way.
I am exceptionally grateful. I truly was overwhelmed and didn't know where to begin.

Both my husband and I have been doing business with Boomer Benefits since 2017. They are always super helpful and patient. We went from WA State to SD to AZ since then and Boomers Benefits haven’t missed a beat from providing us with more affordable coverage when rates climb to high to troubleshooting bills that I can’t never understand from Medicare or supplemental insurance companies. They really do “speak Medicare” so I don’t have to! Special kudos to Brandon T, from BB’s claims team who dig into my question and got me a satisfying response. Great customer service. They take all the time you need. Walk you through step by step. They're knowledgable and helpful. Just be aware: They may not have all the Medicare Advantage plans in your zip code listed on their site, so when you're trying to compare, you may not be seeing everything. You may need to go to the medicare.gov site first to see other plans that aren't on the Boomer Benefits page. Once you're on their page, you'll love their user interface. I've called them mid-year for help with claims and help finding a provider and they've been GREAT. I recommend them all the time to friends and family.

Chasaty A at Boomer Benefits was a great help in choosing my husbands Medicare plan. She took all the confusion out of choosing the right plan. My husband is a post kidney transplant recipient who needs the most comprehensive plan available. She actually took her time and found the plan that covers all his medical and prescription needs. The monthly price for the policy is very affordable at $160 a month which covers 100% coverage. A big thank you goes out to Chasaty for her willingness to help, listen and the compassion she showed.
