I have the unit in my house, and I had an experience about 2 weeks ago in the middle of the night that was not good. I was probably 25 feet away from the unit. It sounded tinny, and I couldn't understand the gentleman who answered the call, and he couldn't understand me. He hung up, and did not ever call a paramedic. They did contact all of the 3 people that are all in my contact list but then when one of them went to call relatively soon after he got the initial call, then he was put on hold and said he would be answered in the order the call was received. If you get a phone call in the middle of the night because you have a family member that needs help, and you call back the number, and you get that you're in the line to be answered, that's very disconcerting. That was at 3 in the morning. Another member of the family got his message at 7 am, which was not any fault of Mobile Help, and the other member of the family got hers at 8 am, and that was also not the result with the problem with Mobile Help either, but they all got the same message: that they were on hold and their call would be answered in the order received. That was a lot of red flags up for my family members. I used it a lot since then, too. I've fallen and gotten a concussion. I was here with a care giver at night, and she pushed the button because my biggest problem is when I fall I don't think to push the button, in fact I was going to call today to have that extra service put on.

I looked at several companies and I thought that was one for me. I've recommended them to several people already. I had to use it after a fall, and they got me the ambulance for me. Every time I've talked to the office they seemed very capable. I have to say, though, that one time they were not very good. I had to wait too long, about 4 or 5 minutes for them to answer the phone.

The mobile hel sustem is really nice but I think it should all be in one unit. My dad much like other people forget to grab the 'on the go unit. It great equipment but it does absolutely no good if it's in the house and he is out of range of base with just bracelet on. I can't get it thru him he can't go to far from base with just bracelet on

I found out that it was one of the cheapest companies that I surveyed. I'll recommend it, since it's trustworthy. I haven't had to use it, but it really comes in handy to me because of my conditions. I think that for some people, when they get over a certain age, it should be provided to them. I think that Medicaid or somebody needs to look into that to get more older people to get one without paying a high price.

I already sent back the system. I can't have it because of the issues with the county. Sometimes it would go off on its own and cause false alarms, and I got in trouble for it, so I got upset and had to send the system back due to those malfunctions. I don't have a system anymore. It's a little too high-priced for my budget, anyway. It was very fast response, though, getting back with you very quickly.

I've never used it yet, I just wear it. A social worker decided that it was the best one for me. It's simple to use, but I still have to get used to it. I've only had it about a week and I haven't had any problems, so I haven't needed any support, except that they didn't send me the lock box until I had to call and ask for it, and then I received it yesterday.

Mobile Help is very expensive. I use it everyday, because I've had a stroke, and I always wear it so that I can shower on my own and live in my house by myself. The customer service person who sold it to me was very informative, but I was disappointed in the directions that came with it. The watch device just goes on my wrist, so it's easy, but the large device is confusing.

We saw some advertising about it, including in the AARP magazine. All of the sales staff were good. The fellow we spoke with is a nice guy, and the customer service person that calls for the emergency contact numbers was also good. The system works. it hasn't been used for an emergency yet, but we know it works since they had us test it.

When using your emergency button and mobile help calls the first responder on your list the number they called from comes up unknown. Nowadays very few people will answer unknown numbers I wrote a letter about my concern several years ago I never heard back I also called and spoke with a manager never heard anything.

I got it for my mother since they had GPS. She has had the device for two years and hasn't had to use it. The button works really well and it's very wearable, but when you have Alzheimer's and get older it gets more difficult to use these kinds of things. Because of that I've been thinking of canceling the service but they will not let me out of my contract. I almost wish that they would send me a brand new device so I could turn it back in. Another thing is that, when you lose the product like we did during a flood, customer service just falls apart.
