We are pretty neutral in our feelings about the device. You have to charge it every 24 hours, and the pendant is not a microphone, so if you want to talk to the people when there's an alarm, you have to be near the microphone.

I think it should be able to reach you when you're outside so you don't have to be in the room with the base unit. I did push the button one time and they called me at least, so I'm pleased with it so far.

Thank you for your review. You only need to be within 350 feet of the Mobile Device or 600 feet of the Base Station to send a signal. If you only have the Classic system, you can always upgrade to the Duo system, which would include the Mobile Device that you can carry around with you. I test this once a month to make sure they hear me and I hear them. When I get up in the morning I put it on my belt and when I am home I put it on the charger. A couple of times the response time has been slow between activation and response, but I could have been in a dead zone.

I sometimes do and sometimes don't have a signal with this. There are times when it should have gone off. One night after I had I had an awkward little fall going down the stairs they didn't call me until 1:50am in the morning saying that the alarm had just gone off. I shouldn't have any calls back like that.

I saw this and heard about it on the TV. The Service has been very quick and good! Once I had a false alarm and they were instantly on there and asking me if it was the real deal or it was a false alarm.
