I fell one time when no one was around. Afterwards, I thought that maybe I needed something when I do fall and there isn't anyone there to help me. So far, I haven't had to really use it, but if I hit it accidentally, the've been very polite and just check to make sure I was ok.

My husband, who has passed, had Life Alert, but this one is so much better. I like this because I can take it wherever I go in the United States and Canada. I can fly with it, I can drive different places, and even if I see an accident I can report it to help somebody else. It's excellent!

I live alone so my boys decided to get one for me to make sure I was taken care of when I was by myself. I take it with me when I go out, and it gives me the feeling that I can get help. It's really nice to have, and my boys think so too. When I first got it, I accidentally bumped it a few times and it went off and the people asked me if I needed anything. I told them no and they were very nice about it - they said they would rather me hit it when I don't need to than not hit it when I do. My sons and I have been very satisfied with everything.

They didn’t tell me to call before leaving the state.,so while I was in Florida there was an issue. They told me there was an alert at my home in NJ. My daughter called , told them I was in Florida with her. After it was straightened out things are back to normal.

I find the necklace with the Micro System bulky and heavy. The seat belt in my car has set off the unit twice. It has given a fall alert when I simply removed the necklace and placed it on the bed when I was changing clothes.

I have not responded until now because I am still uncertain about the reliability of MobileHelp. I am actually on hold now while William is arranging for a replacement pendant to be sent to me. I have gotten indications in my apartment several times that there is no cellular service. Obviously, that makes the system unreliable some of the time. I will find out when the replacement arrives whether it is the service of the pendant. The questions below are impossible to answer until I ascertain the problem. Additionally - the instructions in this box are so light that I could barely read it. Seriously - the best the "Best Company" can do?

I bought this for my father. I like the ease of use and notifications for him and for me if the battery is low, false test, etc. Luckily haven't had to test the emergency feature for real. Wish the battery life was longer.

The response time is great. The fall button is too sensitive. It even goes off when I go over a speed bump too fast. The automatic response sometimes talks over the second message and even over the operator so it becomes difficult to understand and respond. Yesterday it kept going even after the alert was cancelled.

I don't know if fall detection shortens battery life or not but ours does NOT last the 3 days they claim. 1 1/2 days is the longest we have gone without a low batt. warning. That said, so far, so good and hopefully never need.

The device works great. Definitely have to charge once a day or it will run out of power. Dropped the device and it auto called. It is simple to cancel calls. It took longer to get to us than we were told but aside from that everything has worked as it should and the price is reasonable compared to similar services.

I really like the secure feeling it gives me. Notifications go to my folks on my list even when the charge fails . That being said it only holds a charge for 36 hours. It has lost its charge at the most inopportune times, usually when I'm not near my charger. I sent an email yesterday and the only response I've received is that you got my email.

The size of the device is larger than I thought and a bit on the heavy side of more than what I thought I was purchasing. I would prefer one smaller and lighter that responds the same way as my current device does. Please contact me if this is an option to exchange my device for such a device. You can see the device very easiler under my shirts and of course it is recommended to wear to the length of middle of the chest, which for a women makes it protrude up and forward.

I hope I'll never find out how good this all works out in an emergency. I will say that I'm not a fan of all the add-ons that seem unnecessary. But again, in an emergency maybe they are necessary

The first wearable had to go back because of an issue With a battery, and the second one battery is great but it's easy to jostle and setting it off saying fall detected. So it is a learning curve but I know my friend is very pleased with hers so I think I will be too.

I’ve had my mobile alert just over a month with fall detection. I haven’t had to use it so far. I really would prefer a wrist watch type as the pendant I have is cumbersome, which is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars. As far as signing up my sales person, was courteous and helpful.
