The fall detection pendant goes off when the person has not fallen or activated. While we receive text messages when an alarm goes off it should state the name. I get calls for a couple family members.

I got one of their products for my mom and so far whenever she pushes the button, they are immediately calling and texting to make sure all is well.

The product does not wok well in my assisted living facility. It has a limited range. That was not clear in the all the specs I got for it. They provided me with a lot of details. They are not available over the weekend. The pendant is also very sensitive. Even when I set it down, it signals that I have fallen.

When I first got it, I tested it and it was not working so they sent me a new one. It was supposed to be overnight but it took four days to come. I do like the cord around my neck.
