I was thinking about getting one of these and looked at the different ones available. In the end I went for Medical Guardian. I use it when I'm out, especially if I'm by myself. It's very easy to just have it on me. I've never had to use it, but when I call to check in on things, everything has been good. I like the way everything operates.

I had read about them in an advertising and since the price seemed right, I got it. Typically I just wear the necklace all the time while I'm at home. When I leave, I wear the little bracelet thing and put the little base unit in my purse as well. I also have one of them on me whenever I take a shower. I haven't had to use it but I'm glad I have it. What I didn't realize when I bought it was that the only way to talk or hear them was through base unit. That could be a problem if I happen to fall out in the yard or somewhere out of range from the unit. I don't think that's a good set up...

With regards to how your Mobile Guardian would work if you fall out in the yard with the mobile base out of speaking range, you would still be able to get the help you need so long as you are within 350 feet of your mobile base. If our operators are unable to hear you, they will assume that an emergency is occurring and proceed with your predetermined emergency plan. We do offer an all-in-one unit, the Active Guardian, which is a button you can wear around your neck and speak directly into. My nephew decided to get this for me. He came with his wife to spend some time with me and he just told me he had gotten something for me in the mail. He told me what it was and that I needed to wear it every day. He didn't really force me to wear it, I just started doing it, and I'm glad that I did. I just put it on in the morning when I get up to do my breakfast. I also take it with me when I go too town and go to the YMCA and walk around for a bit. They're good, but there is always some room for improvement.

After reading online reviews, I thought it'd be good to get it. I barely ever run into any issues with them. About 2 weeks ago, my dad had a stroke while my mom was there. She pressed the button and they were able to get a hold of us and some help. The only thing is that it'd be nice if they made it so that there was a mic and speaker on the actual device rather than having it all on the base station.

They could get better designs for ladies, I don't like the black cord for the button that goes around my neck. It doesn't match well when I'm dressing up.

I checked the other companies and they just didn't have the amount of attention that we needed for my mother, so we went with Medical Guardian. They never told me that the device only really works with AT&T, so if something happens with that the device is just worthless. I've never used it but when we've used it for testing, I thought that it took too long for them to respond.

I heard about it on television and decided to get it. Fortunately I've never had to use it. I've hit the button accidentally and, every time I've done that, they give me a call to know if I'm ok. They have always been there for me. The only problem I have with it is that I'm never sure if the button is actually charging or not when I plug it in. Also, I've heard of other devices that are much cheaper.

When your Mobile Guardian is properly inserted into its cradle, the cradle has a light that will illuminate to tell you that the unit has been placed correctly and is charging. You should be able to fully charge your unit in 2 hours time. Your unit will not overcharge so you are free to leave it in the cradle when you are at home and simply make use of your neck pendant. On one of those occasions I was out at a restaurant but they just couldn't find me. They had to dial my number and get a hold of me. I guess the GPS just didn't work right out there'

My son looked it up online and they were the one he chose. I've never had to use it, sometimes I even forget to test it, but I haven't run into any trouble with it either. I did change the necklace pendant from the cord to a stainless steel chain. That way I don't even notice I have it on.

Basically, I got it because of the ratings it had. On top of that, I also got a great deal with them. One time, the thing that I wore wasn't working, it would just go off even though I wasn't doing anything. When I called them, they got it all replaced within a day and took care of everything.

I'm becoming a senior citizen and I walk a lot by myself. So, if something were to happen to me where I needed help, I needed to have something to get help. It was also in part to ease my daughter's concerns about me since she usually works at the time I take my walks. So, I just looked things up online and they were actually the first ones I checked out. Since I just needed to get something quickly, I bought it. When I called to purchase the thing, the person that I dealt with had a lot of information and explained everything in a way that I could understand. He was very helpful. Everything is up in my room and I wear everything all the time. Thankfully I haven't had to use it. There's a lot of other services out there that are a lot cheaper than them, but at this point I think I'll stick with them.

The hospital sent them to us. We tried a lot to convince the person that wears it to actually use it. It wasn't until he fell and broke his arm that we started wearing it. It's just a life saver. They call us when he presses it by accident, so we know that it works if he ever needs it. They're very good, it's a comfort to have it.

At the time I was falling over a lot and would need to call 911 to get help for myself. In fact, before I got it, I fell and had to spend several days in the hospital. My family decided that I needed to have a medical alert thing, just for extra security, so they got this one. I haven't had to use it since getting it. My only concern right now is that I don't think the device works that many miles away from my home. It mostly works while I'm close to home.

My daughter in law checked on them and she was the reason why I decided to get involved with them. I wear the watch rather than the necklace. I'm not really happy with it since the button is very large. The band where the button is on actually broke, so now I'm having to deal with that and carry the thing in my pocket. It's not very good at all. I haven't had the need to use it but whenever I test it they've been very pleasant.

A big factor in my decision was the fact that it had GPS capabilities, which means that I'm not limited to just being in my house. I really haven't had an occasion to use it, but I've tested it before. At one point we ran into a problem with the box thing and they sent me another one the following day to replace it. After that I was able to just send them back the other equipment. I was very impressed with their overnight service. The one problem I've found is that if I try and call them on the regular phone it takes a long time before they answer. On one occasion, after someone actually answered, that person ended up transferring me to someone else.

The price was ok when we looked at it and since the call button looked nice I just got it. I haven't had to use it thank goodness, but I just wear it if I'm doing something that's very heavy duty or when I go outside. I try to test it every now and then. The doctor recommended I get it, so I did. I haven't had to use it, but I hit it by accident when I was at the store. They responded very quickly even though it was a mistake. They were also very helpful. When I needed to have one of my bracelets replaced they were really good about that too.
