My 75 year old mother wears the device around the house. When the button had to be pushed, they answered immediately and got her the help that she needed. The button itself is adorable. It's on 24/7 and it can stand up to the every day wear and tear. She can even wear it while taking a bath and it'll work. It serves its purpose well.

My mother lives alone and she's a recent widow. She wears the device when she's here, but luckily we've not had to use it. We got it based on costs and the fact that it's a local company. They are very responsive when we do the testing, and very pleasant and helpful to her. The indicator lights are very bright and sometimes that bothers her, but other than that they're fine.

I usually wear it most days. I've never had any problems with it. They helped me set it up, and it just gives me a little bit more security, I guess, because I do live by myself and and things happen even if you're careful. I just heard about them from somebody else, and it's very likely that I would recommend them, too.

I didn't really have any idea what to get. I just asked around and nobody seems to give me the clear answers, so I looked up different companies on the computer, and that gave me pretty good reasons to get it. I hope they are very trustworthy, because It's a little high-cost, but I wear it in case I fall or do something stupid. I hope I don't have to use it, but I think it's there when I need it.

I keep it in my pocket every day. I've never had to use it but I've tripped it a couple of times accidentally. They've always answered the phone whenever that happens and talk to me. I just tell them it was an accident and that's the end of that. Everything is good.

My daughter-in-law picked it out for me, she lives out in Melville. I think one of the reasons she picked it was because it has a GPS thing in it. Any device like this is difficult to carry and keep around but this one is easier to deal with. I haven't had to use it but I've set it off a couple of times by accident. I've always gotten good results and fast reactions when I do that and they always check on me to see if I need anything. I know there are cheaper units out on the market but I don't know if they do anything differently.

In the past I've fallen couldn't get up until I got my neighbor to hear me. Because of that my daughter got it for me. Fortunately, I haven't had to use it but I'm pleased with it. I'm glad I have it in case I fall. I wear it around my neck and it doesn't bother me.

We looked it up online and read the other comments and stuff like that. I wasn't too concerned about the cost when I picked it. I would recommend it. The only time I've used it is when I check to make sure it's working. They've always answered. A couple of times it took quite a while to get answered, but they seem to be better the last couple times I did it.

I looked online with my daughter, and we just liked what it said. I had used a different company before and I did not like it. I wanted the wrist unit instead of the thing around your neck. I just put it on in the morning, and take it off at night when I go to bed, and place it by the side of the bed with me. It's easy to put on my wrist when I leave the house.

My mother fell and was unconscious, and her friend had Medical Guardian too and knew what to do, so she pushed the device. I fell a couple of times and my son decided to order it. I've never had to use it, thank goodness, but I was outside one day, and I leaned over to do something and I guess I pushed it. All of a sudden all these cops and medical people came in, and it was unbelievable. I was embarrassed, but it worked!

It was suggested by a friend. The people that responded to me when I called them were very, very good, and it's been a few glitches, but mostly the service is good. If you're in range, they respond right away. It works well, except when I happened to be on the road, out of range, and there was no service. The people who respond are very kind, non threatening, and reassuring. I had fallen and they asked if I wanted help. I said I wasn't sure, because I was able to crawl back into the bedroom and lay down again. I just kept the device next to me and a friend came, so it was okay.

I've had it for about a year now and I've only had to use it once so far. It was great though, I just hit the button and the ambulance was here in minutes. I haven't had any problems with them. When I test it everything is fine. I like that I can take the button anywhere I go, I don't have to be home to use it. Everything is good.

At the time I was preparing to sell my house and move. I was handicapped, needed hip surgery, and needed a wheelchair in order to move around. Because of that, I felt like it would be best to have some type of alert system in case I needed help. I just have it on me during the day or if I'm going out, but I really haven't had to use it for a medical emergency yet.

I've been blessed. We haven't really haven't to use it yet, but I do test it, and they're pretty quick at getting back to me and checking with me. It works every time. They have not failed when I tried it. They explained everything to do with the necklace and the watch and the service. They're very informative, and they check on you and ask questions when they call. Sometimes it takes a little bit longer to get them to answer, though.

Someone had recommended it to me. I take it with me when I'm going to be outside, working my yard or something, but that's about all. I've never had to use it. Once or twice when I have dropped it, I had someone come on and ask me if I needed help, so I think that was very encouraging. I've also had a reminder when the battery was getting low, when I had not placed it in a battery box.

Some friends decided for me, and I went along with it. I wear it around my neck all the time. The only thing I don't understand is, if I'm not within range of that speaker how does it work? I like the company; it's been fine. I'm just not sure how it will work unless you're within range of the thing.

Good question! If for whatever reason you cannot speak through the speaker, our emergency trained operators will assume an emergency is occurring and proceed accordingly. My neighbor had just gotten gotten one for her mother, and she had done a lot of research, so I just took her advice and went with Medical Guardian. I think it's too heavy, in the winter I put it around behind my collar, but I wear it every day. I think it would be nice to have another device... something you could put in your pocket or something like that.

We looked around at all of the companies and decided that they had the best to offer. I wear the one that goes around the neck most of the time, though it does drive me crazy because it's itchy. I used it after I had gotten home from the hospital. I had come into the house when I fell down and they were quick to call, paid attention to me, and did what had to be done. They came out to help me and it all worked out very well. It kind of woke me up to just how good the service was.

It's just lying around, because I'm allergic to the watch. I got all 3 pieces of it, and it's just lying around. I haven't had to use it for any reason, I very seldom use it. The fire department came to my house, once, and I didn't know that they were coming; I hadn't called them. It takes them too long to answer the phone when you do call them, and I had to replace the watch, once.

I decided on Medical Guardian when I saw it was rated number one. It's actually my father's, but I can describe it. It works, but the only disadvantage to the one that we have is that it does not go off when he falls down and can't push a button. They do make one that does that. It's ten dollars more, so $59 a month, and there's much cheaper ones on the market. I will probably switch back to a different company which is about twenty dollars cheaper, with a device that will go off when he falls down. Medical Guardian is a good system but it's way more expensive. They do answer the phone when he needs it answered. I do trust the company because they work, they answer, they make calls to wherever our list says, and they provide a lock box for your house.

I needed the GPS location. I charge it at night and then in the mornings I put it around my neck. I used it a few times, several times deliberately just to find out if it works, and also if I bumped it by mistake it worked then, too. I've used it about four or five times and it always works. The people that I talked to were intelligent and courteous.

I have a patient that has ASL and I needed to be able to get someone to take care of her if I couldn't do it myself in case of an emergency. So far there hasn't been a reason for us to use it but she has pushed the button twice already. Those weren't emergencies, she just couldn't get to me with the phone she had. It does take them a long time to get to me though. By the time they contacted me, I had already gotten the problem fixed. Usually I just call them back and tell them things are ok.

I'm happy with it, but supposedly, if you're right near it, the remote does not work, so there's a possibility that you could fall too close to the console for the remote to work but also be too far away to actually reach it.

I had called a couple of different companies and the customer service that I got over the phone was of a higher caliber with Medical Guardian than with the other companies I had called; I just wasn't impressed with them at all. We haven't had to use it, but once a month or so, I'll do the test and hit the button so that I can get a response. They're very quick to respond, and very professional. It's good equipment, too.
