My children told me about it, so I decided to get it. I have it with me all the time but I've never had to use it. I just wish everything was in one piece so I didn't have to carry two things for it to work properly. Otherwise, it has been fine.

I got it because my elderly 90 year old mom needed it. She wears it but hasn't had to use it yet. The device is fine though and we've never had any issues with it. I'm just happy that we got it, I'm sure they will be there for her if it's ever necessary.

I heard about them on the TV and decided to call them and get it. The button lights up so I can see it even at night. I've never used it though I've pressed the button accidentally once. It took them quite a while to respond, I was surprised by that, but they were very supportive when they answered.

They have been very responsive to those and usually all I have to do is tell them that I don't have an emergency or a need for it. It all seems to work well.

I did a lot of research beforehand and since they were highly rated I picked them. Less than a month ago I had to use it when I fell out in the yard. They got me to the hospital, but everything worked very well. They met my needs right away. The only thing is that the battery on the device doesn't last very long. I have to put in a new battery way too often. I also wish I could take it with me on vacations or when I travel.

I had to use them once while I was in the shower. I got dizzy and fell in there, so I called. When the woman came on the line I kept telling her that I was laying on the bathroom floor, but she couldn't hear me. Later on they transferred me to another man that could hear me and that called my fianc' to get me up, but I had to wait an hour on the floor for them to do that.

My daughter picked it up because of the cost I think. One time I fell down and had to drag myself to the base unit to press the button because mine didn't work. It took them a while to get to the phone, the machine kept saying call in progress, but when I finally got them on the line they sent someone out for me. I called them afterwards to see why the button hadn't worked and they sent out a new one right away. The price is very high, especially considering that calling 911 would've been just as fast.

I didn't decide to get it, my daughter did. She has been on the medical field for quite a while and she was the one that found them and decided to go with them. As soon as I get up in the morning I put it on and make sure it's on. It works. I've had to use it a couple of times and they've always done the job quickly and easily. I had a different system that just wasn't as good as Medical Guardian has been. I used it once and they were here promptly and took me to the emergency room. Though...I'll have to leave the service at the end of the year because I'm moving to a different facility. They have their own medical alert system there.

So far it's working well. I use it when I go out walking, driving, or if I go out of town. There was a time I could've used it when I fell trying to put my pajama pants on but I didn't actually need it. I was able to handle that myself. Still, I know that if I need them, I got me'.

I got it because they have the thing that I can wear on my neck and take out with me when I leave my home. I've never really had to use it but I know it always works. I put the thing in my backpack once and it went off. I didn't hear anything at all but they sent the ambulance out to my house very quickly. I also did a test the other day and the people that answered the phone were really nice. It took them a long time to answer the phone though. I actually waited a bit before pushing the button again and they answered after that. I feel comfortable with it anyways.

My daughter and I researched everything. Medical Guardian came up as the one with the best ratings so we chose it. I'll be 86 next week but I'm in fairly good health. I try to keep my strength by walking a lot, but it's there in case I need it. I've been with them for a short time and I'm still getting into the habit of wearing the button all the time, but I've been satisfied with it. I do have 1 complain though. I just got a new system and I'm a bit confused about it. There's 2 red lights that are on all the time, so I want to know what that is about. The thing is, I've called them 4 times already to try and get that answered but I'm always put on hold for 15 or 20 minutes. I mean the unit works, I've pushed it to test it and I got an answer, but they couldn't answer my question.

This is actually the 3rd service we've tried. The other ones had to be charged far too frequently and, honestly, I'm not sure if Medical Guardian will be the same or not. They should design it better so that it doesn't need to be charged every day. I have it on 24/7, though I've only called them once. I really haven't had the need to contact them and there hasn't been any emergency.

I saw an ad on TV and decided to try it out. I'm completely satisfied with it. My one complaint is that the very first time that I tried the button it took them 5 minutes to answer. That was the only time it took them that long though. All the other monthly tests I've done have gone well.

The price convinced me of getting it, though I would still like it to be lower. Things were not very good the time I had to use it. I kept telling them not to call an ambulance because I didn't need it, but they called them anyways. I got a bill of $300 because of that. On top of that, the men that called my daughter were not good either. They couldn't speak English very well and got very very nasty with her. I was tempted to stop the service because that was really upsetting. I mean, the system itself works okay. You can get a hold of somebody quickly. But that doesn't do me much good if they don't have someone that can speak English. I was not happy at all.

It's pricey; I think its very expensive, but what I liked was their ability to call the patient outside the home and locate them. I'm using the one that's wearable on the wrist; I don't like the pendant. I keep it on from morning till bed time. The customer service was great. I did have to use it once for 911, and they did respond.

I think it's kind of expensive. I have a friend who referred it to me, and I have accidentally hit the button a few times, but I've not had to use it for an emergency, thank goodness. One thing I have a problem with is that when I've hit the button and had to talk to somebody, it is so hard for me to understand what the other person was saying. I don't know if it's their voice, or what it is, but I have a hard time understanding because I do wear hearing aids. I also dislike having to charge the battery all the time.

The research we did at the time we got it made it sound like it would work for us, but we really haven't used it. My husband has the bracelet and wears it most of the time, but he can't get in to press the button, so he yells for me. So in that respect, it hasn't helped, that's really not what the product is for. He just isn't choosing to use it. Otherwise, it's been okay and it's been there in case we do need it.

I've been very happy with it. It just seems pretty reliable and easy to use. I have it on all the time, so it never comes off when I'm taking a shower or something like that. I've actually never had to use it for an emergency yet, but at times when I've called in for non-emergency stuff they've been responsive.
