This is for my mother. She has fallen 2-3 times and we've used it to get an ambulance for her. They have always been very responsive and have been there when we needed them. I've never had any trouble getting to them. Right now we are having trouble with the base though. It doesn't always work when she needs it.

They had some high ratings on the internet and liked the fact that their call centers were in the United States, so I went with it. I've only tested it but they're pretty nice when they answer the phone. Right now my system is connected to my home phone and I want to know if they have cellular systems and if there's any extra charge for that.

I was looking for a service like this and somehow came across Medical Guardian. I can't remember how, but I ended up calling and getting it all set up. They were very helpful getting it ready. My daughter did that part for me and they went through all the steps with us. I wear the thing around my neck everyday and everything is going well so far.

My daughter decided to get this for me. I haven't had to use it. I mean, one time I pressed the button when I was going into the woods and the fire department came out, but there was nothing wrong you know. They were there right away though so I think they will be accountable if I need them.

I heard good things about them before getting it and, since the price was right, I got it. The thing always works and they always respond promptly. I'd like them to have something with GPS, something that could keep track of people, but I'm not sure if they have that already.

My daughter got it for me. It's good quality. About two weeks ago I fell and couldn't get back up. I had to slide myself to the button to press it and they sent someone out here to pick me up. They came immediately after I pressed the button. I think that a person that lives alone really needs something like this. It really comes inn handy.

I have asthma so, after we saw it on television, I knew I needed to have it. I have mistakenly hit the button when it wasn't an emergency and I've also tested it to see how it worked. Things work well. When I hit the button, they call back within 30 seconds.

These replies concern only the basic unit with a call button. This unit is excellent. But the unit which registers a fall is too sensitive and will sound an alarm for no reason at all. We had to discontinue the fall unit. This service is a gift from my children so I am not able to answer the monitary question below.

The information that I read on a magazine ad convinced me of looking into it and getting it. I'm new at this sort of thing, but I wear it all day and for a while I also wore it all night. I didn't even know if that was necessary, but I did. One time I set it off accidentally while sleeping though. They called me back and I just told them it was a test. It it did what it was supposed to do but I stopped wearing it at night after that.

I saw some of these services on TV. The others didn't meet my needs, but Medical Guardian did. I had no issues setting it all up or using it. One day I was having a panic attack and had to use it. They called, asked me if I needed help, and all of a sudden an ambulance was there. They answered almost immediately.

I picked them because of the benefits that were offered by the equipment. I usually put the necklace on in the morning. If I go out, I bring the other part with me while I do my day's work, whatever that might be. They have answered every question that I've had and they have been very straightforward. There's never any pressure from their part either.

I've had it for a while and it has saved me some 4 or 5 times. They're amazing. One time I was bleeding out so I pushed the button and, within 3 minutes, they were here. They responded immediately. The time we had to use it was when my wife fell. They called me to let me know what had happened and that there was someone on their way there. Fortunately they didn't have to break into our house since my sister in law was on her way and saved the day. The service was exceptional, their folks stayed with me all through-out the process. I'm pretty active. I go power walking, work on my yard, and go shopping on my own, so I wear the device all the time. I've tested it before and they always responded well, they're receptive. What I don't like is the fact that the lanyard for the button is a gray shoestring. It should have a nicer necklace holding it.

I am blind and live alone. I have no family here, so I did some research and got Medical Guardian since they seemed to be the best ones. I haven't really had to use it yet, but I've gotten extremely used to wearing it around the farm. I wear it all the time now, 24 hours a day. Customer support is not just a recording you know, you're dealing with a person for everyday issues and for emergencies too. The response time isn't very fast though.

From what I read, it all seemed to be US based when it came to their phone contact. The people that answered to emergencies were all in the country and didn't have heavy accents or anything of the sort. It all seems to be pretty good, though I haven't had to use it yet.

They have good writers and ads on magazines. When I looked at it the price was reasonable and I liked some of the features that it had, like the lock for your front door and the medallion that you carry. Well you know it's actually my mother and to be honest with you she's only use it I think one by accident so I don't have a lot of experience with it to be honest with you. It got caught up in a medical alert and it went off and so they ended up calling the house instead of me, we live in a small community and they did not call me which I was kind of surprised I didn't know what was going on so that was the thing I guess that bother me so I just want to make sure that they have my updated contact information in there.

They called me the other day at night after I had fallen asleep. Apparently I pushed the button because I was tossing and turning. From that I know they will respond. It is an expensive service, but I think it's better than having no way of contacting someone. It gives me confidence to have it that, if I have a problem, all I have to do is press the button and somebody will come and help me.

Well I didn't try any others, this was the first one I tried, my children and my grandchildren wanted me to have it. I'm 91 years old and they wanted me to have some way of calling in case I needed some help so I just happened to see that one on a magazine or newspaper. I never had to use it. I picked them because they had GPS and it was all mobile. It's convenient to have one around my neck and the watch around my wrist, I can take them anywhere I go. If I fall in the department store, in a bathroom, or anywhere else, I know I can push the button and they will know where to find me. Everything works well.

I think I learned about them after I got a postcard in the mail from them. From that I just decided to check them out and got it. I had to use it once when I fell off of my recliner chair and couldn't get back up. it. I've found that they do not replace certain things like the string that holds the button. If I want a new one I would have to buy the whole thing again for $50. Other than that I haven't had any problems with it.

My daughters decided to get this for me. It worked fine until a few weeks ago. We had trouble getting through to them so, after it happened a second time, my daughters called and talked to the person. They said that their system had been updated so that our machine was no longer compatible, so they mailed a new machine to us. It came right away and 24 hours later we got it all set up. I feel that for a whole month though the thing was not doing me any good, it was just sitting there, not working. We got excellent service though.

I think I came across them in an ad. We haven't had it for too long so we haven't had a reason to use it. Everything appears to be working well though. Whenever go out I make sure that my wife has it around her neck. I do have a problem with the little red light on the base station, it just keeps blinking all the time.

My son helped me pick it out. I wear it daily but I haven't had to use it. I had to replace the bracelet because it got caught on a sweater or something and just fell apart. We tried to snap it back together, but it wouldn't stay put, so we finally replaced it. They should make them less cheap looking and sturdier, especially considering that they're really pricey. My one other complaint is with the monthly tests we have to do. They know that people forget to do the monthly call thing. I don't think they should leave that up to the person, especially because I have a lot more important things to do.

After talking to them I determined this was the best company for my brother. I live in Colorado and he lives in Ohio. He uses it and keeps it on him all day long. I got it because I like the features of having the wrist bracelet and I can wear it on the shower, I wear it all day and all night, when I take the dog out for a walk or whatever and when I call, they are always there.
