I was browsing around the internet and I found that Medical Guardian has really good rates and reviews, that's why I chose it. I never had to use it thanks to god, but I feel really secure with the device near me. I already talked a couple of times with customer service and they had been excellent with me. sometimes they take a little time for pick up but they're really polite and knowledgeable.

We have been experiencing high call volume as of late, but we are actively working to address this issue and you should be seeing improvements the next time you call in. With regards to how far you can go from home with your Mobile Guardian, it has an unlimited range so long as you take the mobile base station with you. We include a handy carrying case for you to carry the base, which you can tuck away in a bag or purse if you so choose. When at home, you can leave that mobile base in it's charging cradle and use either your neck pendant or wristband to call for help if needed. The buttons have a range of 350 feet to your base and should cover you well within an average sized home. I bought Medical Guardian because it has really good reviews online. I just carry it with me all the time; When I'm out or in the house. The device's not as good as durable as I'd like. I have the device that has GPS and I already tested it a couple of times in a pretty populated area and the device didn't work, so, That's worrying me. When I tested it at home they answered me very quickly. I hope that Medical Guardian can improve more in their areas of coverage.

Response has been immediate. My Dad is waiting to go into a nursing home as he has fallen many times in his own home and lives alone 1/2 hr. from me. Medical Guardian has given me the piece of mind that if he needs help, he just has to push the button on his bracelet to get help.

Awesome service. Mom has used the remote wrist button 2 times so far in the last couple of years after falling. Saved her life 2 times i would say and since she wasnt injured has been able to maintain her independence. Great job guys.

I think I picked them because they had an advertisement somewhere. I've never used it, just tested it to make sure it works. I've done that 3 or 4 times and the first two times they answered right away. The third time I did it took them a long time to come on the phone. It was probably 3 minutes or so and that really bothers me. I mean, if I had a heart attack, that would be an awfully long time to wait.

I'd had a bad fall and needed some protection. I saw it on television and it looked like it would fit my needs best so I decided to give it a try. Since I got it, I really haven't had to use it, but I got a call from them once. I accidentally bumped it or something while I was working in my yard. An ambulance was there right away to check that I was alright. They were really nice too. Overall they're just pleasant to talk to and they respond to any concerns you might have. They're there for me and occasionally call me to see that I'm ok. They're just very attentive.

I picked it because of the feature that allows me to take it with me wherever I go. I've never had to use it but I wear the necklace all the time. I take my little GPS device sort of thing with me when I go anywhere. I have called them a couple of times to check the device and make sure that the machine is functioning properly and everything is working well. I swear I heard a weird noise that seemed to come out of the machine, but they assured me it wasn't. I'm perfectly satisfied with it even though it is expensive.

I went with them because it was cheaper. It has been quite a while since I used it though because I've been able to move normally again. Still, I think the company is great. They give you a lock box to keep on your door so that when I call for help they can get in easily. Their staff is very nice too, they treat their customers well. I haven't used it but I'm sure that they will call and come out here immediately if I need them.

I didn't really use it myself while going around the house. I just kind of left it sitting by the bed. It's pretty convenient though. It doesn't weight much and it's easy to wear around your neck. As I said though, I wasn't using it much so I decided to cancel and save the money.

I picked them for my mom because of their advertising and pricing. She is 96 years old and wears the wrist thing primarily. It has helped her a number of times after she fell. They've done a good job responding whenever she needs them. Thing is, their bookkeeping and billing isn't the best.

At the time I started I was a very active person, I didn't really need all the things that a lot of services offered. Medical Guardian was the only company that didn't try to push all their stuff on me, they just gave me what I asked them for. I haven't had to use it but it has gone off a couple of times because I bumped it against a counter or something. They answered quickly though and resolved things quickly. The price is mostly good. There is one thing I haven't been happy with. When I first started I got the service put on my credit card. I guess I didn't read the fine print or something because I didn't know they would automatically charge me every year to renew the service without notifying me. It has been a constant problem. I mean, for a company that deals with senior citizens they should let them know about these kinds of things right away instead of putting it in fine print. They told me they would notify me, but they never did. I asked them to at least send me a bill whenever they need to charge me again but they never did. If they had told me initially that they would do that I would've been able to just tell them not to. I've been really unhappy about that; it has been a real pain in the neck. It's really aggravating, it feels like they take advantage of us for being old and just take our money automatically.

We just had a phone call from someone offering us Medical Guardian, I only had to use it once back in November my husband fell and was unconscious, I was able to use Medical Guardian to contact emergency care and they were here very quickly. We've been lucky we haven't used it since then, I just press the button once in a while for make sure that is still working. I would just say that sometimes when I contacted them they took a little time to answer me back but they're always right there ready for help us if we need it. I'm really glad that we chose this service.

My daughter bought it for me. I have never had to use it but I wear it all the time 24/7. I have interaction with customer service every month because I keep doing my monthly test and they're incredible with me. I just have to replace all the necklace because the original ban is black and I don't like it. I'm happy with it.

I didn't truly decide to get it myself, it was my daughter and son in law who decided that I needed it. I'm fine with it though. They live 3000 km away from me and feel better with me having it. My son bought it for me. I'm coming up on 83 but in all honesty I just keep it in my kitchen. I don't carry it around and when I go out to walk my dog I don't have it on me all the time. I just don't feel like I walk far enough for me to need it. The park is right next to my home. I used it once when I fell down the stairs a couple of years ago but frankly I can't recall what the response was.

My partner is diabetic and has seizures sometimes. I have had occasions where I have fallen and had to crawl out to get help. Because of that I thought it would be a good idea for us to get it. Every time I've called them with a problem or something they answer the phone and talk to me. I prefer the necklace over the wristband. The only problem I have with it is that the string on the necklace piece is not great. The plastic case that holds the button also scratches my body and it's very uncomfortable. It's not really usable as far as I'm concerned and I'd like them to change that.
