I had called a couple of different companies and the customer service that I got over the phone was of a higher caliber with Medical Guardian than with the other companies I had called; I just wasn't impressed with them at all. We haven't had to use it, but once a month or so, I'll do the test and hit the button so that I can get a response. They're very quick to respond, and very professional. It's good equipment, too.

I researched it on the internet and it was the most highly recommended. I haven't had to use it, but when it was accidentally activated it was easy to explain, because when you wear one of these, you will accidentally activate it. I appreciate the promptness when they answer my test calls, and they've been responsive to all my requests.

I really didn't decide on it, my son did. It's basically the same as others. When I get up in the morning, I put my necklace around my neck, and I put another part on my walker, and I have it with me. I haven't fallen, thank goodness, but I feel secure knowing that I've got it in case I fall.

This is for my dad. We liked this system because of the features they had with the GPS on the transmitter, so he can be anywhere and we can get a hold of him, and he can call for help. We would really like to see where you could have two different transmitters for one button, so you can leave one transmitter in a vehicle and leave another in the house, and activate both with the same wrist band button. My dad was having trouble remembering to take the transmitter with him in the car, so we wanted to leave one transmitter in the car and leave one transmitter in the house if it were possible.

We do however offer an all-in-one unit, the Active Guardian, that has the speaker and base in one unit that he can wear around his neck. We did some research, and we liked the price. It's just convenient. we got the necklace one. One night when my husband had a controlled fall and I needed help getting him up, he called Medical Guardian, and and they called the EMT's and they were right there, very gracious and helpful in the middle of the night. They are very professional.

I really haven't had to call upon them very often but in the beginning they were very, very good in helping get it set up. My sister in law had them, so we decided to get it too. The only thing that I'm not quite satisfied with is the range of the button. You have to be within a certain distance for it to pick up on you. So, if you're too far like in a bedroom or something I don't know if they'll be able to send people...

My brother who lives in Texas knew a lady that told him that Medical Guardian was the best thing she ever used and, after we got it, we found out that it actually is. I have the kind that goes around my neck in case of emergencies and also the machine that sits on a table by my bed. Every time I've called they've been right there to take me to the hospital. I did have an accidental button push but they were very pleasant about it. They're kind of like a big family, they really care for you and stay on the phone until they make sure that you're alright. They either send help out immediately or call the people that we want them to call. The only thing is that they told me they'd give me $5 for every person that I referred to them, but they haven't followed through with that yet.

A friend had it and recommended it to me. I've never had to use it but I wear it everyday. Though, in the summertime it gets really hot and it's not comfortable to wear the wristband. The materials that it is made out of are not great.

I had it for over a year. I wore my thing and checked it every once in a while to make sure it worked. Everything was fine and, while I had it, the service was outstanding. I felt safe wearing it. I had too cancel it last month, but I haven't gotten the address to mail the thing back, I've already called them twice about it...

Every now and then I accidentally hit it and they call and everything. It does seem like it takes a lot of rings before an operator responds to the call though. I went online thinking that I needed to get something that could get me help if I needed it. The person that I talked to was very convincing so, in the end, I went with them. I typically use it when I go to bed at night. One night I was testing the button and got into a bit of a predicament. It didn't help that the person that I talked to wasn't very nice. Other than that, I wish the signal on the thing would reach farther away so I could take it with me to my backyard or out front if I need to.

I got connected when I Googled it. I test it every now and then, and it seems to take them a long time to answer. The value is in if you actually had to use it to save your life. I guess it's like an insurance policy. It's great to have it when you need it. I don't consider it a waste of money because you never know when you'll have to use it. There was an issue when they simply billed my checking account the full amount for the year, which was an unexpected thing; a $400 withdrawal from my account... So I had to call them and let them know about that being a problem.

I looked at several different services, read a lot of reviews and, in the end, got Medical Guardian. When I got it I thought I'd wear the wristband, but I don't really like it. It's easier to wear the button around your neck. I used it last Sunday when I got out of bed and just collapsed on the floor. When I pushed the button it did took a long time for the operator to come on the line, but they helped me. It's not the most expensive service out there, but it's not the cheapest either.

There were various reasons that led me to pick them, one of them was their availability in non-urban areas. I have not had to use it yet, but I normally take it with me when we go up to a mountain cabin that's north of where I live. Normally other units don't work there because of the terrain, but this one does.

I asked a lot of people for recommendations and Medical Guardian came up, so I got it.Thank goodness I haven't had to use it. The button is heavy and when I try to push it to get in touch with them it's a bit hard to press. However when I lean over and accidentally bump it against something it goes off. I can't figure that out. When I was able to get to them they were very nice and helped me answer a lot of questions I had. It's a rather convenient service.

I live by myself so I needed to have some kind of back up that could look after me if there was ever a problem. Since they had all the things I needed, I got it. I've used it once when I had a medical problem. I haven't had any problems with it, though sometimes it takes a little time for me to get to an operator. It's also more expensive than what I expected it would be... Still, it's there if I need it, it's just reassuring to know that I have a way to contact somebody if I need to.

I happened to come across them while looking around and, after calling and getting all the information, I went ahead with it. Since I'm home 90% of the time, it just sits there in case I need it. I've never had to use it but I'm sure it's all fine. The one time I called to ask a question they answered right away and I got the information that I needed. My biggest problem with it is that, even though I can take it with me wherever I go, I never remember to actually bring the little thing with me.

I got it because it could go all over the place with me, I didn't have to stay at home for it to work. My one concern is that the button is too heavy to wear around my neck, so I put it on a belt loop instead. I do need a watch or wristband, which I think they mentioned in the sales pitch they gave me. Having it on my belt loop just makes it go off by mistake a lot. Still, whenever that happens they respond every time and have been very polite.

They've been very responsive. My cord came out of the wall, so it was not working, and they called me and asked me to plug it back in when I didn't even know it was out, so that shows that they are on top of what's going on. They were all that I needed at an affordable price. Besides, it was easy to get a contract with them, so I signed up. I've only had to call them once and they were very accommodating. I just wish it went a little further in the range it has, but besides that it's very good.
