I looked at a listing of medical alert devices and this one seemed to have the best results. I double checked with my daughter who works in health care and she seemed to like it too, so we went ahead and ordered it. Thank goodness I haven't had to use it. The only time I called them was to complain about something. They had to send me a new part, but that was that. It was excellent customer service. There are some things from the equipment that I don't really care for though. For one, the button that goes on the necklace part is hard to change. It's almost impossible to get it off of so I have to keep the clip on the lanyard at all times. I cannot even get the back off of it to charge it. It's just ridiculous. Another concern I have about the button is that when you're wearing the thing the green light goes on and off all the time. I don't like that, it's very annoying.

I went online and looked at some services like this one. Medical Guardian just looked incredible, so I got it for my mother. She has mild Alzheimer's and basically stays home by herself all day. She wears it around her neck just in case something happens. Everything has been fine...except for a call I got a little bit ago from a sales person. They badgered me about an upgrade to the button that could automatically detect a fall and I just agreed to it at the moment. I haven't really needed it so now I want to send it back there but I haven't received a response yet.

I did a lot of research on the internet and I'm still actually deciding on whether or not this is the right one for me. I'm still testing Medical Guardian along with another service to see which one is best. The button seems to be high quality. I expect it to work if I were to need it while walking in the woods or when no one else is around. I've set the alarm off by mistake one time and I got a call back to see whether or not it had been an accidental button press. I got that call the day after it happened though. I was concerned about that response time, especially if I actually need it for an emergency.

Since they had the best price and equipment I ordered it for my mom. My order came with the bracelet, the necklace, and the GPS system that they have. I haven't had to activate the alarm yet, but I've done some testing. When I press the button they come on the line quickly. Customer support is very prompt and patient. They just know their product so well that they can answer any questions I have.

My wife fell so I did some research to find a company that was good for her. From all the reviews, I just determined this one would be the best one. The process of setting things up went fine. They answered all my questions. We haven't had to use it since we obtained it but there hasn't been any problems in the 3 or 4 months that we've had it.

Some of my coworkers recommended it, they said it was a good system. I got it for the person that uses it because of that. Fortunately, we haven't had to use it, but they've been helpful anytime that we've called with questions. Just the fact that we have them around is comforting to us.

I got it for my father after researching online. Thank god we haven't had to use it, but he wears it everyday. Whenever I test it, they answer right away. The only thing was that when I first ordered it, they didn't really explain how long it would take for us to receive the things. It took over a week to get here and I would've liked to know that first.

My family didn't want me to be living alone without help, especially after I developed cancer. After looking around, the cost and availability of it convinced me to get it. That plus the fact that I can have it with me anywhere I want to go. This was about a month ago, so I haven't needed to use it. The necklace is not the most comfortable thing to wear, it kind of scratches my neck.

My daughter picked it for me. I can't really wear the watch band on my arm since I can't keep it there, so now I'm using the one that goes around my neck, that one is better. I wear it all the time. I can take it with me in the shower, plus I also have a unit that's right in the living room and another one that I can take with me when I go out. I appreciate all the different things that give me, including the bit that hangs on my door. It gives me added support. They just have a lot of convenient things added to the service that make things better for me. Customer support is wonderful too, I feel more comfortable having them there for me.

Fortunately I haven’t needed to use it. I did do an operation check with it and everything worked as advertised. I like the way it lights up at night if you touch it. This will eliminate the need to turn a light on so it can be found. It’s designed with simplicity in mind. So far I am pleased with it and plan to have it available in the event I need it.

They seemed to be just what I was looking for. I wear the medallion all the time, though I haven't had to use it. They only time I've ever talked to anybody was the day I actually got into trouble. I just hadn't tested it before, and I should've done that earlier, but they helped me do that really quickly. I have to be really careful with it because if I don't have an emergency and press it, it will contact the authorities. So it's something I have to watch out for. One thing I don't like is that I can't really speak to them using the medallion. I have to have the base unit around and that's a big drawback. That means that, basically, the only place I can use it in is my house and that really doesn't do me any good. It's definitely limiting. I've seen other companies that have this sort of service and offer a device that you can use to talk to them through the medallion so'I don't think they gave me enough information to make a good choice.

I only recently got the Medical Guardian, but so far I am happy with the sense of security it gives me when I am alone in my house. The staff was very helpful during the set up. I have not needed to use it, thank goodness, but I'm sure if and or when I do use it they will be right there for me.

I bought this for my Dad who is 101, and he wears it daily. His comments are "I thought I would be able to speak to the person on the medallion, and not have to be near the box". He also has accidently hit the alert button a few times, and we were quickly notified and were able to cancel help at that time. I am glad he's wearing it, but it does have it's limitations.

All contacts with Medical Guardian, both sales and during product setup, have been excellent. The Guardian device has some weight to it, and the supplied neck strap is a narrow band. Would suggest a wider/softer neck band, for added comfort.

I got it for my mom based on the research I did online. The only problem I ran into was with the website that they have. I thought I'd be able to log in and check things from it, but it wouldn't work for me. I followed up with them and they told me it wouldn't be functional until after the first year of using it. I would've expected them to provide that information only if the website was going to be available.

I haven't had to use it at all, but I've run tests. I think it would be better if the device could travel with you. That way if I was going down to the grandparents' place or something I could take it with me and use it. This one is kind of landlocked to my office. The thing is also a little more expensive than what I thought it was going to be. I thought it was going to be less than a dollar a day, but its more than that.

The price was the best part of it all. That was why I went with it. I've never had to use it, but I do wear it. As far as the device goes, the watch's band is a little too small for my liking. Customer support was helpful when I needed to get a new holder for the button. They sent that out a new one to me right away and it all works fine. I did have a problem with the alert thing though. We called them and it took some 24 or 30 rings to get someone on their end to answer the phone. Still, it seems like a good product.

My daughter used to have one that wasn't working so she decided to get a different one for me. I had to use it on November 13th since my legs were bad and I fell. I pushed the button and they were pretty quick to get here and help me. I had to go to the hospital, but things went ok.

My niece purchased it for my mother. The device is simple to use, though there has been a bit of a learning curve for my mother. She's 97 but they have been really helpful with explaining things if needed. You can always get through to a real person. So far she hasn't had to use it yet but we've tested it twice already.

I got it for my patient since she was looking for something that she could use for life alert. I'm not sure if she has actually used it yet, but I know she tests it once a month or so. We had to go through them several times to get the right piece. It took us 3 attempts to get that sorted out and get the device that we wanted. Still, it's useful for the patient and money-wise, it's probably worth it.

I used to have that same thing before and since it worked out okay I decided to get it again. I haven't had to use it, but I wear it. It's easy to carry and wear, it doesn't really bother me. It's good as far as I can see though. It's there if I ever need it.
