My husband had seen it somewhere in advertising. Sometimes it takes a little while to get through to them when I try to do tests or something like that. I've only used it one time where where it was an emergency, but I have tried to do tests and sometimes it takes a while to answer. I had to use it about a month and a half ago. My husband was unconscious, and they had to take him to the hospital. It was a good experience with them; they stayed on the line with me and helped me do compressions and and try to get him to breathe.

I was living alone, and I decided that since I work a lot out in the yard during the summer, if I happen to fall or get hurt, I would like to be able to have access to help without having to figure out how to get back in the house to get to the phone. I'm glad that I have it on hand in the event that I do need it. If I do need assistance, it would be available, and it's a comfort to know that I've got access to help if or when I need it.

My sister in law recommended it to me, so I got it. I don't have any concerns about it. The device itself is good quality. I usually wear the wristband and sometimes the necklace whenever I'm alone. If there's anyone else around in the house though, I don't use it. Overall it's a very good thing to have when you're disabled and live alone. If I fall and can't get up, I can use this to call for help.

We had a conversation with an agent that explained a lot of things about the different services. In the end, we just picked Medical Guardian. We haven't had to use it yet, but recently we had to call them because we were having issues with a part of the device. They walked me through different ways to correct the situation and, since it was not fixed, they sent me a new device the very next day. I mailed the old one back and put the new one to work. It was really fast service. When we test it everything goes fine, we haven't had any issues. They're a reliable company.

My son in law was a great researcher. He helped me look up different companies and together we picked this one. He has since passed, but I still have it with me. I'm really used to the button so I don't even pay attention to it anymore. I hardly ever remember that I have it on me. Any time I've tested the it everybody is really nice. The price is a little high but I feel comfortable having it so it's worth it.

I kind of shopped around and, since they offered the best value for what you got, I went with it. The button is easy to use. I haven't had to use it for an emergency, but I check it once a month and they are always courteous, professional and genuinely concerned about me. They want to make sure that everything is ok. I know that there are other companies out there that are cheaper, but Medical Guardian offers a better service I think.

I saw them advertised somewhere and since they looked like they were honest I got it. Customer service is always there to answer whatever questions I might have. They're great people and the button is easy to use too. I haven't had to use it yet but I test it every once in a while to make sure that it's still connected and working. To tell the truth, I just saw their ads somewhere and, since it sounded like the best option for me, I got it. So far it has been great. I wear it from the time I get up in the morning until go to bet at night. In the very beginning I didn't know how to use it or anything, so every time I made a sudden move the button would go off. They would call me immediately every time and that made me feel more secure. I think the price is pretty high, but I have nothing to compare it against to really know...

My daughter decided to get it. I keep it right here in the kitchen counter and I've only called a couple of times to check and make sure that it's working. I didn't realize that the machine was not working quite right the first time I tested it. I pressed the button and they called one of our neighbors whose number we had given to them in case of emergencies. She came over to check in on me and see if everything was alright. That was good, but I had to adjust a few things. Still, they seem to respond quickly.

We used to have a similar device with my home alarm system but that wasn't good. When we pushed it, it wouldn't connect to the person on the other side. This one is still pretty new to us, but we've been getting excellent customer service. We haven't had any problems with it. My husband has the device and he likes it. He takes it off when he goes to take a shower. I know it's supposed to work even there but I don't know why it just didn't seem to work there. Maybe it needed to be powered up or it got too wet or something. It is kind of expensive for us though.

My son looked it up and got it for me. I guess he liked it. I usually leave it at home, I don't wear a piece of plastic on a shoe string when I can wear my gold jewelry or something else that's decent. But I leave it at home all plugged in and if I need it I push the button. I haven't had a reason to use it but I think it's good. I love the fact that it comes with the lock box in case somebody needs to come in to help me.

My daughter was the one that picked this out for me because I was falling a lot. She lives in Georgia and had everything hooked up and ready so that I could have someone there to help me if I needed it. The thing is amazing. I have the button around my neck all the time. I really have not had an emergency where I needed to be rushed out of the house, but it's good protection to have. My daughter researched everything for us. Together we all decided to get this one since I'm my husband's caregiver and this gave us everything that we needed. We haven't had to use it, but I'm not concerned about the device or anything. I wear it since it's mobile though we have to be careful when we sit or stand since we don't want it to go off by accident. It's not the least expensive service, but that was not the point when we got it. We wanted something that would work best for our and our lives. In these cases, money is not really important. I do hope we never have to use it.

When I was picking one out, it mostly came down to the price. About seven weeks ago I had to use the device and everything went excellent. I fell out of bed and got hurt so I pushed the button. I was quite a distance from where the machines were but the person that came on was able to hear me and I could hear them without a problem. They sent someone to help me and things were wonderful. When I needed to switch over to a different machine that was easier to use, they swapped things very quickly.

I think I talked with two or three representatives from other companies at the time. I was looking for an inexpensive solution but they were all about the same price, so I ended up going with Medical Guardian. The button is not necessarily comfortable to use, it just hangs around your neck all the time. I'm not really used to it. It's convenient and easy to use though. I was surprised when the battery on the thing went dead. They contacted everyone on my emergency list and let me know I needed to go and charge it. At first I thought that was humorous but then I just realized I had to charge it every night or they would contact the five people on the list every time. That was embarrassing.

I researched and thought they were the best ones for me since it's so accessible and easy to use. When I test it, a voice comes on as soon as I push the button and I can easily communicate with whoever is only the line. The only time I've had to use it was when my sugar rate was extremely low. I was home alone with my granddaughter and had to use Medical Guardian. The EMTs got here right away. The buttons are easy to conceal and everyone thinks it's just a necklace. It's not cumbersome at all. I've been satisfied with it.

My daughter decided to get this for me. On a typical day I put it on when I get up in the morning and wear it all day long. Whether I go out or not, it's with me. I'd like it better if it wasn't quite as big as it is and if I could have a watch or something else. It's quite ugly actually. It makes me feel like my neck is bending over. Besides, if I lean against something the button gets triggered very easily. That has happened a couple of times already. One time it happened while I was putting clothes in the washing machine and it took a good 4 minutes before anybody got back to me on that occasion.

I researched on the internet before getting it. The button is compact, I can wear it on my belt and I don't even know that it's there. I wear it every day but I have been lucky in that I have not fallen. I've tested it though and it's very effective. It's a comfort to know that it's there. My daughter bought it as a gift for me since she lives in Texas. I do yoga classes every day, go to meetings, and do things like that, so I take the little device with me everywhere I go. It's all really handy. You have the necklace, the bracelet, and the base itself. We haven't had to use it yet but we've tested it all around the house. It works great and we know we have some security in case we need it. They also call us all the time to check in with us. There's really no big commitment with them or tricks to make you stay and the price for the device is fair. It was 4 times cheaper than the others we looked at.

I used another service for about 2 or 3 weeks that was connected to the phone line, but I've liked Medical Guardian better. It is Wi-Fi so it's much easier to move the base around put it somewhere if I need to do that. After getting it I very quickly decided to send the other one back. The button is comfortable. I have not had to use it for emergencies but I trust that they will be responsive. I'm a little bit concerned since it seems to take them longer that I expected to answer the calls. You know, when you're in an emergency situation you start to relax a little the moment someone responds to you, so I'd expect them to be quicker about it. I've also been told that if I'm going to spend a long time visiting family or something I can take the base with me, but I haven't tried that yet. When I call them using the button the reps that respond don't really know the answers to what I would consider to be basic questions about the company. If it's not related to an emergency they don't know the answer and I don't really like that.

My husband has severe hearing deficit. If I were to fall while he's in another room, he wouldn't be able to hear me to come and help me. Because of that it's very important for me to have it on. I even wear it when I go to bed. We have not had to use it on purpose, but the cleaning girl pressed the button by accident when she came by. They responded quite quickly and we just told them it was a false alarm. If it had been for real we know they would've answered well.

My cardiologist recommended it to me, so I got it. I wear it all day, every day. I have not had to use it for an emergency, but it's a real comfort to have it on me. I saw it advertised online and decided to investigate it before signing up. I've never had to use it but they answer every time I test the system and everything works fine. I gave them two telephone numbers they should call before contacting the ambulance and they said they'd do that. The necklace part of the device fell apart once and I called to ask for another one. They said that it would cost me so and so to replace that so I just told them I'd cancel and go with someone that wouldn't charge me to replace the equipment. Immediately after I said that they told me they'd send a replacement for free. I mean, I'm old but not stupid and I know they all try to get more money from you with this kind of thing. I know some old people are dumb enough or trusting enough to fall for it, but I'm not. I gave them a little fight and got it for free, so I'm happy with it.

I did some research online and got it for my father. He has never had to use it for an actual emergency, but in terms of testing the button each month everything has worked well. There have been no issues and we get good customer support. We've had some trouble with the devices though. Sometimes my father has trouble pressing the button. He has to press and hold it for a good length of time for it to go off and that can be hard for him. He's also hearing impaired, so it's hard for him to communicate with the people on the line. I'd like it if there was an option to make the speaker louder or for it to have some kind of text that he could read instead. That would be helpful.

They just seemed to meet all the needs and wants that I had, so I called them to check and got it. I haven't had to use it, but having the service makes me feel secure. The button is comfortable and I wear it everyday. Some of the other devices need to be charged often, but with this one I don't have to worry about it too much. I got it because it can go wherever my mother goes, not just within 10 ft of her front door. The button is easy to use. She had to use it a few weeks ago when she had some severe pain. My decision had a lot to do with the fact that they had the mobile feature. With this I can basically assist myself if I ever need to. I usually wear it while walking up and down my house since I'm basically by myself. Every time I call, someone is there for me. I have some medical problems, so I really needed something just in case anything happened. So far I've been happy with it. I haven't had to use it, I just check it to make sure that it's all working properly but I've gotten a pretty quick response. I would recommend this to a friend. We have compared lot of different companies; we read reviews of several, and this is the one we chose. We have been very happy with the services it provides. We knew I would be needing one, because I'm home alone and I had problems with my back. There is a lot of peace of mind knowing that this is here if we have a problem. It's just very easy to use. My husband does not have to worry about me being home alone and falling and him not finding out until coming home and finding me on the floor. I did some research on it and figured that they were the best ones, so I went with them. I've had a number of hip dislocations, 8 of them as a matter of fact, and some of those happened after I got my medical device. On those occasions I was able to push the button and send out an alert. I got a quick response and the fire department was sent out in a matter of minutes as well as an ambulance. They even called my brother's wife. Everything worked very well when I needed it to work.
