They've been very good. I haven't had any medical emergencies so but the customer service staff is always very helpful. They've been very polite, very, very considerate, and very, very good-natured. If I've had to call them, they've always been very prompt, so everything's okay. I chose the bracelet and it seems a little heavy on my wrist. At the end of the year it started to give. It was too lose, and it slid off a time or two, but I just switched to the neck pendant. it's more lightweight.

My family decided that Medical Guardian was the best option, and I listened to them and bought it because of their information. I think I paid more than other people did, but I just feel secure with it, so that doesn't bother me. I wear it especially when I'm outdoors. In the house I'm with my family, but afterwards, with broken pavement and cars coming by, I feel more secure when I have it.

I decided on them by calling around and talking with different companies. Before I got it set up on auto pay I had to call quite often because I'd forget to pay, but everybody was just wonderful, and very helpful. It's for my mom, and we've never had a problem; she's never had to use it, but I have her test it every once in a while. She has hit the button once by accident, and of course they were right there.

We did some research on the internet. It's got a good speaker on it, the range seems good, and my Dad's able to hear it, so that works. We've been fortunate in not having had to use it, but we've done a couple of tests, and the people were really nice to talk to. It has been set off accidentally, and they respond right away. When we call them and we have a question they always are able to answer. The employees are professional and really nice to deal with; very respectful courteous. We've always gotten the help we need. I'd recommend it.

My husband has epilepsy and I purchased a guardian alarm for him to have in the house while I am gone. I left written as well as verbal instructions that if he pushes the button 911 is to be called 1st and then myself. One day he started to get the aura that a seizure was going to happen so he pushed the button. The dispatcher verified it was my husband and that it was an actual emergency, but called me 1st instead of calling 911 1st like I had asked to be done. My husband was at home with our 3 year old by himself when he pushed the button. I was able to call my neighbor to run across the street and stay with him and my son until first responders arrived. Luckily my husband just had the aura and not the full seizure that time. I just felt that my specific instructions were overlooked and by calling me first it delayed first responders to get to him first.

I have only used them a couple of times, but they got an ambulance to my house quickly and stayed on the phone with me until they arrived. The one thing I didn't like was that they took almost $600 out of my bank account for the next year's payment for my usage of their services and they did this without asking me first if this was okay. They should not have done this without my permission. They did put it back into my account within a few days which is good. But the fact that they took it out to begin with keeps me from giving them 5 star. my account could have been overdrawn because of that!!!

I got it because of the cost. I've never really had to use it, but they have been quick to respond when I've tested it and during some unnecessary taps. Customer service is always very thorough when explaining the services and everything. Overall it's pretty good, though I'd like them to put the speaker on the pendant itself so I could communicate using that.

My step daughter helped me pick it out. I've never had to use it but I wear it all the time in case I need it. I like the idea of having both the bracelet and the neck piece. I'm supposed to test it every month, but I don't always remember to do it. Whenever I do it, or if I push the button by accident, they're right on target. They respond immediately and ask me if I'm alright. Customer service is always pleasant.

My mom has fallen a few times since we got it and having it has been a great help for her. She has been able to press the alarm button that goes around her neck and they've responded quickly. On one occasion they couldn't get a hold of us so they sent the ambulance out and they got to her right away. It's an excellent product and it gives us peace of mind to know that she has something she can push to get medical attention when she's home alone. The only thing is that I wish the price was lower, it's a little bit expensive for my mom's income.

My son decided to get it for me. I've only had it for a month or two and they have been good. I have not had to use it but I accidentally set it off a couple of times already by leaning on it. They've called me right back whenever that happened and I just have to tell them it's an accident and they cancel the call. I used to have another one that wasn't as good as this one. We switched since this one had a good deal and so far it has been perfect. I have the wrist one and the one that goes around my neck. I keep that one on me most of the time and put it by my bedside when I sleep. It's all perfect and I feel safe with it. I'd recommended to anybody else that lives alone or needs something like this.

When I called to find out more about them they were all very friendly and explained everything to me in a way that I could understand. I haven't had to use it thank goodness, I've only pushed the button to check on it every month. When I do that though it works and they get to me quite quickly. One thing I'd like them to change is the place where the microphone is. Instead of having to use the other bit to talk to them, I'd like to be able to use the button to do that.

At the time I wanted a good wrist-located device and they seemed to have a very fair offer. More importantly though, I just wanted to get started. After a bit of exploration online I just decided they were the way to go. Fortunately I have not had any medical reason to call them. I have checked the button every 7 to 10 days to make sure that the system is up and running. I've gotten very good responses then, they're very effective. It meets my needs and I've been satisfied with it. It gives me a tremendous feeling of safety and comfort.

I got it as a gift from my son. I've never had to use it, but I wear it every day. I also have the lock on the door and the information on my window for emergency personnel. That way, should they arrive before my family does, they can get to me easily and help me. I feel comfortable knowing that it's there in case I need them. They seemed like the most efficient out of all the services that we researched. Besides, it was pretty economical. I also liked that they had the locks that you can put on the door. That way someone can get in and help you easily. I haven't had to use it, thank goodness, but I do know that it works since my mother in law has the same device and lives right next door to me. I picked them for my mother after looking through the different companies available, what they had to offer, and their cancellation policies. She has not had to use it yet, but we have done tests with it and have been happy with the response time and everything else. The only thing is that sometimes my mother has a hard time hearing the person that comes on the line to talk to her. I purchased this for my aunt. Fortunately she never had to use it in the time she had it. Our real problem with it was that we couldn't really teach her how to use it. I mean, it was all very easy to learn, but I think she was past the point where she could learn it. Still, they never gave me any problems. I have not needed to use it, but it made a difference just knowing that it's there. It looks like it's just really simple and easy to figure out what to do. Not too long ago, I got a call just kind of checking in on me, and telling me I should probably check my equipment. I felt like I was kind of being looked after. I checked the pricing of a lot of different services and they seemed to be the lower one. I can afford it even while being on Social Security. I haven't had to use it but I have it with me. The necklace is easy to wear, it's easier than the wrist band to be honest. The wristband is just too sensitive and I might hit it and set it off a lot more than the necklace. When the button is pushed by accident they call back right away and make sure that I'm alright and that there's no emergency. They're always very courteous too. I feel like if there's an emergency they'll be quick to pick up on that.

My wife needed something like this so we looked at a couple of services and this seem to be the best one. In the time we've had it we've never had to use it. Right now we're on vacation so we brought the machine with us. Since we're always together though, we haven't even hooked it up. I just happened to do some research. I talked to one gentleman about it, and it looked like a good deal to me. They gave me the option for a wrist band and the one you can wear around your neck. I prefer the one around my neck because I can have it with me all the time, even when I'm sleeping. They check in once a week and ask how everything is going. I appreciate that. I carry it with me everywhere I go.

They have given me outstanding service. They have sent rescue services out for me several times already and they always show up right away. Some 4 or 5 months ago I had a minor heart attack and all I had to do is press the button and the medics were out in my house in less than 7 minutes. When I call them about anything they give me the answers that I need and, if they don't know, they figure it out and give me a call back. It's a good service, I'm happy with it.

My children have been after me to get something like this. In the end my son decided to go for it and ordered it himself. I wear the necklace or the wristband every day while I'm at home. When I go away, I take the device that sits on the holder. I've set off the alarm more than once and I've gotten a call back right away. It's very dependable. My wristband fell apart a couple of days ago. I called them today and they'll be replacing it for me, free of charge. I feel safe and secure having it. For several years I had Life Line, and then when we moved here, we couldn't find it, so my daughter did some research online and we ended up with Medical Guardian. So far, I'm happy to say that I have not had to use it, but I'm assuming it will be okay. I wear my pendant every day and night, so that's no problem. We did have a big problem in the beginning getting them to send us the bill. They weren't doing the automatic withdrawal from the bank. I just said "send me the bill" and that never came, until they finally sent us something that showed about 3 months' worth of use.

I did a lot of research and they worked best in my particular area of the country. My mom fell several times, she had ALS. They used it probably 5 times for my mom and my dad currently still has it at home. He hasn't needed it yet, but I'm glad it's there. My children were talking it over, and they felt that this is the best way, because I'm living alone. I think I like it. They gave me a device so that when I walk outside, I take the chain with me so that if I fall or something like that, they can find me where I am, in case I cannot come back to the house. That's nice, because it would take me a little while to get back to the house just to call them, that would be too much trouble. I haven't used it except for testing each month. I do that, and then I call them and they immediately call me back, so that was good. So far I am okay. I have had nothing traumatic happen to me. Every month I have to pay $29.99 or something like that. Maybe it's a little too much, maybe they can lower that price a little bit. That would be nice because I've never used it so far.

My granddaughter thought they were the right company for me, so she made the decision to get it. With it I have some way of contacting someone that can come and help me in case I need it, even while I'm outside. I haven't had to use it yet. On a typical day I tend to go out to the street so I put on the wristband, of course. I don't necessarily like wearing the necklace and have it dangling from my neck. With the wristband I have no problem working or moving around. Every time I've pushed the button to test it, I've received a response.

My son went online and looked it all up after I had a knee replacement. He found that this was going to be the best one, and I have recommend it to a number of other people too. I'm not sure about one thing, and that is that if I'm upstairs and I fall while I have it around my neck, and the main device is downstairs, I don't think I can talk to anybody. I wear the device around my neck whenever I'm at home, and I take the other thing with me every time I go out, and just keep it with me in case. I have called to check every month, but they never told me to do that until a year later. Sometimes, if you haven't done it for a while, it takes forever to answer, but if you do it once a month like they suggest, it's fine. Every time I've had a question, I've called and gotten it answered very easily.

They advertised having trained professional staff available to respond to emergencies on the phone. I have not had an opportunity to use it, which is good. We've had some erroneous pressing of the button. It's only happened a couple of times but they've been very nice about everything, and they respond right away, so I really don't have any complaints. I would like some way to guard against bumping it by mistake. My neighbor recommended it. She had a Medical Guardian and she had one of the representatives get in touch with me, so I was persuaded. I've been satisfied so far. I only use it in my apartment and in the surrounding areas. I can use it for about half a mile around my building. I didn't get the full thing'I didn't think I needed it, because I have a cell phone with a special device on it that I can use if I'm far away from the house. It's good to know that I can use it in the shower, and whenever I'm walking around in the building alone It's useful to have it, and I think it's very worth while for the money.

It not only does local coverage, but it does expanded coverage outside the home. I had a little difficulty getting us their charger in the beginning, but that was it. Not quite perfect but very close. A typical day is that I'll put it on in the morning and basically wear it throughout the day. I actually haven't had to use it in an emergency condition yet. The device is easy to use, but the the battery life could be longer, and I think that with this technology, it could be smaller.

It was a random call to sell it to me, I believe, but I'm very pleased with the result. I think it's a very good company. I think it's a little pricey, but I'm not unhappy with it. We use it when I leave the house, and my husband wears a bracelet. We've never had to use it, but it got pressed by accident once, and the response was immediate. They contact the local EMS as well as the Arcadian ambulance service when it was pressed, and both were out here immediately. They also respond very quickly to the test call that we make monthly.

My daughter was the one who researched and decided on it, and then we went along with it. It has coverage anywhere I went, not just in my house. I haven't had to use it since I got it, not for an emergency, but I call about every other month to test it. It works fine, and they're always very cordial. What I don't like about it is that you can't activate it from the device when it's in the charger. Even if you take it out of there, you've got to have the button around your neck or on your wrist. I don't like that I've got to take two things with me all the time to have complete coverage in the whole United States. If you got a device with the button on, it why can't I just push that button, because I have to take that long anyway? Why do I have to wear a separate device? If I'm away and I leave that that device in the car, if I don't put it in my pocket, and I leave it in the car and go more than a hundred feet away, it doesn't do any good, because I still have the button on my person, but it doesn't transmit that far. If I could just put that device in my pocket, the one that goes in the charger, I would just have one thing I have to have with me. I could have it my pocket at all times, wherever I go or whenever I go. It's a hassle to take it out every time, place it in your car, put it in your pocket. So that's the only downside to the whole system.

I looked online and compared companies. For my money, I would say it's fine. I already have recommended them. I have never had to use it for an any type of emergency; I just wear my lanyard around my neck all the time, but I'm very pleased. It's easy to use, and I've had good support when I have a problem or question; they're very prompt. I'm just very happy with it. I had two falls, and I'd been listening to this on the TV. I made up my mind that at my age I need to have something for security; in case something happened, I could call somebody. So far I haven't had a fall since then, but you can bet your bottom dollar that I keep it with me and around my neck at all times, because I feel more safe with it on than with it off. I accidentally hit it once or twice and it came on. As far as value, well, there's no price on your life.
