I have the larger portable pendant ... it is rather large and gets intge way...magnetic clasp detaches easily and catches on things... I may go to the smaller in home pendant.

How do you expect to get a rating from a customer who has not had to use the product yet....thank The Lord...so hopefully if that need arises can give higher rating. Also, I wear the watch and the rubber wrist band seems to irritate now and then. Is there another wrist band available?

Poor service. Later delivery than promised. I am returning the medical guardian alert because my father-in-law died. I am having to pay a $50 restocking fee and it was only used for 2 days actually before he died. I was not told of a restocking fee except for damage and this unit is not damaged. I will never recommend medical guardian as I have use Life alert previously, and it was worked out wonderful. Also I did not have to pay to have my mother's Life alert returned after it wasn't no longer viable to use. Now I have to pay medical guardian $50 restocking and if it's not restocked within 32 days which is their length of time to process it I have to pay for another month. Better business bureau will get a copy of this.

Medical Guardian is convenient, I like that I can take a shower with it, and I am able to reach them when I need to. I don’t like the thing that goes around my wrist. It keeps sliding down and there is nothing I can do about it.

They are not like your normal customer service. They were not in a rush to get me off. They definitely went out of their way to answer all the questions and asked me if there was anything else I needed. They were very polite. I like the device because I am by myself and I need medical help. I’ve only had it for two months and I have not had to use it yet but I would absolutely recommend them because the brief contact I have had with the company is good.

Well the person I gave it to did not activated until just recently and had a bad fall without it and went in the hospital but they charge me for all those months that she didn't turn it on because she got it December and did not turn it on until partway through March so I got charged for all those months even though it wasn't on because she had just left it in the box after her fall I went over and turned it on and made her used it but I still don't know if it works.

It would be nice if it held the charge longer than three days. I was working this is at the kitchen sink and it hit the sink and it went off so they knew it worked they were very nice whoever called. Customer service calls back right away.

It has to be recharged a little more frequently than I understood so I'm recharging it about every two, two and a half days. The device is fine I just don't like that it is very very sensitive and for that reason I'm basically not using it.

I would think that after 2 months of service, someone would contact me to see if I have any questions. I also think that there should be a way to remove the neck cord so it can be washed, as I'm sure it is loaded with perspiration. Can only imagine what it will smell like in the hot weather.
