I happened to see their advertisement and it seemed like something I could use. I usually put it on first thing in the morning and wear it until I go to bed. They are very conscientious. They've called me because I hadn't contacted them in a while. That time they checked on my equipment and everything to make sure that it was all working and in great condition.

Since I'm a widow and I live alone, I wanted to have something that would alert somebody in case I fell or needed help. I called LifeAlert and then Medical Alert and I just figured they were the best of the two. I've never used it, but I bought it as insurance in case I fell and couldn't get up. I do not like the wristband. As soon as I started using it I got wrist pain. It would come off when I was sleeping and it was made with such cheap materials that it just fell apart. I'm wearing the necklace now because of that.

My father read about it on the paper and we just decided to try it. I have it on my cupboard and it's there if I need it. I don't like the button they gave me that can detect falls automatically. It's so sensitive that even if I swing the thing a little it goes off. I stopped wearing it and as far as I'm concerned it's a waste of money. Still, I do like the service. One time I fell and couldn't get up myself, so I pushed the button. They called us back promptly and got the ambulance for me. The police were actually the first ones to get there but they got the ambulance too. I know that there's a few similar devices that are a little less expensive.

At the time it was the only one I had heard of. I generally take the GPS with me when I leave the house since I like having it with me. If I have any questions they have no problem when giving me good answers. I've tested the device and it works well. If there's ever any problem or if it needs to be replaced, I know right away because they call me to let me know.

I didn't really shop around much. I just saw and ad for the medical alert and got it since I fall a lot and I'm handicapped. I wear it constantly, day and night. One night I had a really bad fall and no one was close by for me to reach them. I was glad I had medical alert with me because they were quick to respond to me and get an ambulance. I'm thankful that I had it and I could reach the hospital. The only thing is that I wish I could use the device while away from home. The thing is not really expensive, but it's worth it.

It was the only service that I looked at, I just got it. I wear it all day and night, though I was told I shouldn't wear it at night time. They actually sent me another one so I could wear one at night time and the other during daytime, but I honestly think it's a bit of a hassle. The one that I have was actually upgrades to a smaller thing now. I haven't really had to push the button for an emergency yet, but customer support seems to be ok. I hope I never have to test it, I've fallen enough already, but so far so good. I haven't had any problems with it. It is a little expensive though.

I've had it for so long that I don't even remember why I got it exactly. It was probably because of its price. I've never had to use it, but I test it every month or so. It seems to work ok and it makes me feel safe to have it. I got the one that detects falls on its own and it's really touchy. I've set the thing off a few times without realizing it. Still, I haven't had any problems with it.

I try to put it on as soon as I get up in the morning and I wear it till I go to bed at night. If I need extra safety, I wear it all night in case I have to get up and go to the bathroom. I've never used it for an emergency, but I test it every month. I like it because I can carry it with me when I travel, in case something happens. Since I travel alone very often to go to Texas, it's really convenient.

I've had it for many years because I live alone and I'm handicapped. I recently got upgraded to the one that you can just carry with you instead of using the machine. I can still drive, and I have a walker and a wheelchair, so I can wear it around my neck all the time. I guess the only downside is that I can't sleep with it, but I keep it next to my bed when I sleep. The only thing is that I haven't done the whole booting up process yet, which caused a problem when I fell a couple of days ago. The thing wasn't working and the base wasn't receiving a call. I was still able to get the doorknob and get my dog to get to my phone and call 911. The EMT were able to get to me and help me up. Customer service has been very friendly and nice about everything though.

I've used it a couple of times, once for my husband and twice for myself. On one of those occasions, I fell and pressed the buzzer. Since I was too far away, I couldn't get to the speakers, but they sent people anyways. They knocked on the door and were very prompt. The people that came were very polite, helped me up, and dusted me off. The res ponders, usually from the fire department, are also very nice and helpful. Even when my cat accidentally hits the buzzer, I jut call them to let them know that it was a mistake and they are very nice and patient about the situation. They have a lot of patience with one's disability. Medical Alert has given me new courage, especially when it comes to falling.

My doctor recommended I get this after my daughter researched it. I'll be 90 soon and he didn't think I should be alone all day because I have a heart condition. I wanted to continue living on my own, I like my independence and so I got Medical Alert. On a typical day, I get up and put it on. I bring it into the bathroom with me, shower, get dressed and I put it on. I take it off when I go to bed and that's that. I've set it off accidentally several times, it is hard not to make it go off. In fact, since I have it set so that it detects falls automatically I've set it off sometimes like that. We did have a problem once while ordering, but my daughter got on the phone with them and the Medical Alert people were very nice about it and fixed the problem. It makes me feel a little safe. It's as if a friend or somebody was always with me to give me the protection that I need.

When my dad was out into his trailer he had bumped the device and did not realize it. They called me and called SWAT to make sure he was ok 'because nobody was responding. They were very quick in responding. Other than that I don't think we've had to use it. I've always had really good information from them and they've helped me set up the Medical Alert system. They're always very pleasant and patient. I'm really happy with them.

I have no problem with it. I just carry it anywhere, tho I haven't had to use it. I've hit it accidentally a couple of times and gotten a good response from them. One time I accidentally set it off and it took a long time before they responded. When I first ordered it they sent me one unit that didn't work, but they got me a new one as quickly as possible. They're fine and they listen to us.

I've only needed it once when I had an anxiety attack. I wasn't sure if it was that or a heart attack so I called them. They were very thorough, double checked with me to make sure that I was ok. They called me back, left a voicemail in fact because my phone was off, and told me they had sent someone to check on me. They were there in a very short time and took very good care of me. It all took 5, maybe 10 minutes. Other than that, I've accidentally set it off several times but they've been very good sports about that.

I feel comfortable having the necklace device. As soon as anything goes wrong, I just push the button and my family knows right away. My husband also needed it. He was on the last stages of cancer and would fall quite often. I wasn't able to help him up, so I would just use Medical Alert and they would come right away. They just take my information and have been very helpful. I'm glad I have it now.

It was a shot in the dark to get it, but I thought it sounded like a good deal. On a typical day I just wear either the necklace or the bracelet. I really haven't had to use it, which is a blessing, but knowing that it's available if I need it is comforting. Whenever I tested the device or pressed it by accident, customer service has been very helpful. They simply verify who I am and tell them what's going on. They have been very good.

I chose Medical Alert because it has the GPS and it doesn't confine you to your home. I wear it around my neck all the time, except for when I go to bed. I once fell in my home when my son wasn't around, so I pushed the button. They called and asked me if I needed assistance, I said yes and asked them to call my son. He was able to come over and help me up. They were right on it. They were very professional and I was very satisfied with talking and communicating with them. I recently went on vacation and I was happily surprised to discover that the device also worked down there!

It had all the basic things that I needed if I fell: GPS, quick people, etc. I haven't experienced a real emergency, but everything is working fine so far. On a typical day, nothing happens, I mean I just carry the device in case something happens. I've tested it and every time I needed a representative, I get them. A few weeks ago I fell and I couldn't reach the phone, but thanks to Medical Alert the fire department and my daughter came to help me, they've been there whenever I needed them. I always wear my necklace and my bracelet when I'm doing work around the house and everything, however, a couple of times my necklace went off and they were calling me, but otherwise I had no complaints, I'm happy with it.

The AARP recommended it to me. I still wear the old device, and I have not use the new one, but, I already learned how to use it. I now have the one that I put in my purse and I honestly feel very protected. Their representatives provided me with the information I required. However, whenever I tested it and turn it off, it gets hard to let them know it was a just a test, that is the only problem I have had.

Most of the time I don't even know I'm wearing it. I charge it every night about the same time or so and then it's on for a good 8 hours. Their representatives are very polite when I accidentally set it off, they're right there to check on me anyway. I'm very impressed with the clarity of how they speak to me - it's as if we are almost in the same room. I don't have any problems with not understanding them. I remember I checked them out, to me it sounded the best company and it runs about a dollar and a half or so per day, it's pretty cheap security. I am honesty pleased with it.

Their customer service is great. They've been very knowledgeable and they answer all of my questions. They're very helpful. I test it once a month to make sure that the system is working fine and they're right here 24/7. I wear it everyday and can go anywhere with it. My overall experience has been great. I got Medical Alert because I wanted the GPS, to talk right into the microphone to tell what I need, and also because they're less expensive. Anytime I've talked to them it's been my error but they're right there making sure I am fine. When I was on vacation, I accidentally threw my device on the bed and it called right away. I was actually on an island and they found me. I was very impressed with that.

They have served us well for our aging mother on several occasions. More specifically three weeks ago when my mother phoned me wanting me to come to her, over 30 miles away, because she didn't feel well. After hearing her symptoms I told her to push medic alert immediately and I would meet her at hospital. My mother was suffering a heart attack and we were told by her physicians if she had not called she may have died. Thank you from a grateful family!

We love it! My mom and I just absolutely love it. It gives me the freedom to leave the house occasionally without leaving her helpless. If I described their customer service, I'd say they have me at the highest satisfaction. We've just been so happy with them because I've left her alone a couple of times, and my mom has had to use them. They call me and the police. They are just awesome! If someone has an elderly parent, this service gives you a little more freedom. You don't worry as much because you know that if something happens, they have your back.

I'm not happy at all. Several weeks ago I feel and broke my fibula. I pressed in medical alert necklace and it didn't do it different thing. I had to count on 911. I'm going to hook up my Amazon echo and I'll watch out to come get this box and reimbursement place

I keep it on or near me at all times and fingers crossed haven’t had to use it yet. I do not like the size, it’s bulky and the roe is too thick to hide under clothes. Otherwise it is a good device.

5 years ago, I felt the company was more people and service friendly. Today , I receive 2 calls per week reminding me to test system, or call back for account information. When I call back, no one seems to know why they called. SO many unnecessary calls. Too many different departments and no one takes the lead for a customer.

I like the comfort of knowing if I need help all I have to push my button I wear around my neck and help will be on the way. My husband has a hearing problem so if he doesn't hear me, if I need help I know I have a backup!

Since subscribing to Medical Alert with Connect America I have not needed to push the Help button; so I can't evaluate that service but do feel like I was given a satisfactory solution to the problem of not being able to change the help button from pendant to wrist band.
