Their customer service is great. They've been very knowledgeable and they answer all of my questions. They're very helpful. I test it once a month to make sure that the system is working fine and they're right here 24/7. I wear it everyday and can go anywhere with it. I don't have to be around home and if I go out of the country they will find me if something happens.

My overall experience has been great. I got Medical Alert because I wanted the GPS, to talk right into the microphone to tell what I need, and also because they're less expensive. Anytime I've talked to them it's been my error but they're right there making sure I am fine. When I was on vacation, I accidentally threw my device on the bed and it called right away. I was actually on an island and they found me. I was very impressed with that.

They have served us well for our aging mother on several occasions. More specifically three weeks ago when my mother phoned me wanting me to come to her, over 30 miles away, because she didn't feel well. After hearing her symptoms I told her to push medic alert immediately and I would meet her at hospital. My mother was suffering a heart attack and we were told by her physicians if she had not called she may have died. Thank you from a grateful family!

We love it! My mom and I just absolutely love it. It gives me the freedom to leave the house occasionally without leaving her helpless. If I described their customer service, I'd say they have me at the highest satisfaction. We've just been so happy with them because I've left her alone a couple of times, and my mom has had to use them. They call me and the police. They are just awesome! If someone has an elderly parent, this service gives you a little more freedom. You don't worry as much because you know that if something happens, they have your back.

They're really nice people. I've accidentally pressed the button before and they came on the speaker right away to make sure I was alright. My mother had the same experience and it was really good. They were nice and fast when needed. I lost my husband in December, so I'm here at the end of the road by myself; I just needed something in case I fall and can't get up.

My conservator ordered it. I can't wear the alarm around my neck, as it hits my kitchen sink and that sets it off. I've also set it off while sleeping. After several false alarms I quit wearing it.

I had my dad with this service for about 4 too many years. When he started becoming forgetful I order basically the pendant and bracelet and home monitor station. I initially paid for the GPS tracking so when he was out and about I could keep up with where he was. The GPS tracking almost never worked. It always showed him at home. I thought well maybe he's not wearing it - but I took it for several rides and it never tracked. biggest waste of money. What was worse is that when I called to cancel the tracking - the yearly price actually went up for just push button emergencies and fall detection over what I paid for GPS tracking. Before dad passed in December - he had 8 falls over a 2 month period of time and the fall detection only worked twice. It did not work on his last fall either that put him in the hospital prior to his death. These people are nice on the phone and act like they want to help you but good luck getting them on the phone, updating or changing service, and it took almost 2 months to get an account credit. Why didn't I stop it earlier? We did not realize until dad starting falling so much that the fall detection was not as we thought. If you are having any of these issues - please use them as warning signs. Always confirm the product is working as advertised.

They were in very fast when my mom fell. I live 15 minutes away and the ambulance beat me there. The last time we called for a low battery warning on the necklace she jad a hard time getting someone on the phone and then the person was confused and told her to call back. Must have been a newbee

An ongoing problem is that the device I have alerts A number of times a day that I have fallen. The alert is put on the device and I then I also get a call. Yesterday I think I had 8 or 9 alerts. It can go off just when I am sitting and not even moving my arm. There is not any one such cause. I can be sitting in a chair which happens several times when I am visiting a friend. Device goes off whenI am in bed sometimes and just laying in bed. I know I have to call you folks to try to get device adjusted. It does get frustrating. Often I will just take device off my arm.

I like the safety and confidence the Medical Alert gives us, and i like that a person answers to help. However, I have concerns. He fell, and the medical alert did not go off. His Apple watch called 911. and they put him on hold. when I found him, I struggled to help him get un-contorted. I called Medical alert and they said you have to press the button for 30 second. That isn't always possible. it may be buried under his clothes or he may not have use of his left hand, the right is paralyzed. it was good to know why it didn't help and so we need to make sure he always wears his Apple watch. I don't know how the product could improve to avoid these issues.

First, the stars will not let me click to where there are 3 unless I am looking at it differently than most ratings that I get on other things. First, I am putting it on a 3 here because, I constantly get false "readings" or calls! I have NEVER fallen since I got this Medical alert watch back in January 2025 (I think it was January since I fell on December 22 or 23 (since I had to have emergency brain surgery I really cannot remember the exact date (and I do not remember nor have I received a hospital bill due to very good Medicare Suppliment that happens to happly pay all of my doctor bills! I have been blessed, for sure. But to continue to get false readings that have caused 3 or 4 emergency crews showing up at my home/apartment it is embarressing that they spend their time to deal with a false call when they could be helping someone that really needed the attention! I did not and do not know how to do anything other than push the button on the bottom of the watch. I have never taken a shower with it on as I do not think it is waterproof and I use VERY hot water nor do I want to wait for the watch "band" to dry before putting it back on! Those are my main conderns and the fact that I was to receive a very nice watch for Christmas and now have to have this ugly looking thing is not my most happy moment, BUT, I KNOW I need this watch.

I am fortunate enough to be fairly active in my everyday activities. I find it easy to wear my little device in the day time and charge it at night. I know, if I should need help, I can push the little button and a person will respond. My family appreciates that I am willing to wear it. It's a little insurance as I live alone.

Response is wonderful. We have the we have the watches. Unfortunately my husband is hard of hearing so he doesn’t know if his watch goes off and EMS has come out twice when not needed. The watch does not vibrate but only talks to you and he can’t hear it.

I did my research and picked Medical Alert for their excellent ratings by independent raters. Then I got a really good price for all I received--including a door lock. They have been responsive when I asked for a new cord for my button, and have always answered very quickly when I have called with questions. I recommend this company.

It’s a wonderful device but the one thing I don’t understand I paid for a lockbox and I never received it so that’s the only bad thing I talked to fella on the phone and I paid $23 and some change a month but never received the lockbox for my mom‘s house

It hiver me comfort to know help will be available when i really need it. I have fallen more times than i can count. Because of my knees & insufficient strength in my arms i cant get myself up again. When I accidentally pushed my medical alert button in my jeans pocket by leaning into a table and didn't yet know how to stop the call, we had two EMTS coming through our front door within minutes by accessing the lockbox outside near the door. It was all very impressive both the response time and the attitude of the two responding techs.

I got this for my 92 year old mother after a near fatal battle with Covid. She’s actually used it once already, and I have to give them high marks for the expeditious service they provided. They called the ambulance and then me, and though I’m only 5 minutes from her, the EMT’s were already in the house and attending to her before I got there! High marks for that! So why did I only give 3out of 5 stars? That’s due to the relentless hounding that their sales staff hammers you with after the purchase! Calling under the auspices of “have you tested your pendant lately?”, the call quickly turns into a sales pitch to get you to buy add ons! Two weeks after my mother used hers in a situation that had her transported to the hospital, the sales people called once again saying “the pendant hasn’t been tested or used!”. Once again, just an ill researched attempt to make another sale!

In the second week that I had it I had to push the button and they answered me right away. They Hecould hear me saying something but not understand but asked if I needed help and heard me say yes and sent the ambulance. I don’t like that they want to tack on $7.99 month for damage insurance.

I'm happy with the medical alert except for one thing that bothers me (1) I wear it all time as instructed. (2) I have both the pendant and the wrist bracelet, but I am a Decorative Artist and I paint large decorative items such as chairs, end tables, trunks, etc., which require moving them around, etc. to paint them. In the process, I have very frequently accidentally brushed them and set off the alarm. I live alone and the base is downstairs so I do not know I've done it until the ambulance and attendants are at my door. This could so easily be prevented if the button on my person could make a sound or beep when accidentally set off and I could cancel it. It makes no sound and I cannot hear the alert from upstairs in my studio. This has happened 10 or 12 times in the last couple of years. I do however appreciate the prompt response the teams give to the alarms. In the event it was a necessay alert they are very quick, responsive and so caring.

It is cumbersome in that it uses the landline. In one situation, the response was not quick enough that we actually had to initiate a call to 9-1-1 and could not use the landline but a cell phone. While on the cell phone with dispatch is when the Medical Alert team came over the system to ask if we needed assistance. Otherwise, the response has usually been timely even with a false alarm.

I do have a problem I think my emergency call list might have a problem that I'll address by calling you. It appears my home number and my emergency call number is the same so when they call my emergency contact number they got a busy I assume you were calling me on my home number as well. It just seems to be a set up issue and I need to get in touch with you for that. Other than that I think the system is wonderful it does everything that I need for it to do and more.

Every time I have spoken to Medical Alert, I have been very pleased with the people I have spoken to. My issue has been resolved on the first call. Today I spoke with a lady who was exceptionally pleasant and it was joy having spoken with her.

My 95 year old mother in law has caused some accidental calls by unplugging or leaving phone off the hook and they have been wonderful about it. She fell once and they called but luckily she was okay. I've feel comfortable knowing she has this reasonably priced service.
