It had all the basic things that I needed if I fell: GPS, quick people, etc. I haven't experienced a real emergency, but everything is working fine so far. On a typical day, nothing happens, I mean I just carry the device in case something happens. I've tested it and every time I needed a representative, I get them. They give good service and answer all of my questions. I'm very satisfied.

I chose Medical Alert because it has the GPS and it doesn't confine you to your home. I wear it around my neck all the time, except for when I go to bed. I once fell in my home when my son wasn't around, so I pushed the button. They called and asked me if I needed assistance, I said yes and asked them to call my son. He was able to come over and help me up. They were right on it. They were very professional and I was very satisfied with talking and communicating with them. I recently went on vacation and I was happily surprised to discover that the device also worked down there!

A few weeks ago I fell and I couldn't reach the phone, but thanks to Medical Alert the fire department and my daughter came to help me, they've been there whenever I needed them. I always wear my necklace and my bracelet when I'm doing work around the house and everything, however, a couple of times my necklace went off and they were calling me, but otherwise I had no complaints, I'm happy with it.

After I lost my husband I was alone; I had no children, no grandchildren, nobody. I just felt I needed somebody and this medical alert system was my first choice. I haven't had to use it, but I feel safe wearing it, I put it on in the morning and wear it all day long. Their representatives are very kind, understanding and knowledgeable, always wanting to help making sure I understand how my device works. Medical Alert provides confidence and comfort!

The AARP recommended it to me. I still wear the old device, and I have not use the new one, but, I already learned how to use it. I now have the one that I put in my purse and I honestly feel very protected. Their representatives provided me with the information I required. However, whenever I tested it and turn it off, it gets hard to let them know it was a just a test, that is the only problem I have had.

Most of the time I don't even know I'm wearing it. I charge it every night about the same time or so and then it's on for a good 8 hours. Their representatives are very polite when I accidentally set it off, they're right there to check on me anyway. I'm very impressed with the clarity of how they speak to me - it's as if we are almost in the same room. I don't have any problems with not understanding them. I remember I checked them out, to me it sounded the best company and it runs about a dollar and a half or so per day, it's pretty cheap security. I am honesty pleased with it.

My overall experience has been great. I got Medical Alert because I wanted the GPS, to talk right into the microphone to tell what I need, and also because they're less expensive. Anytime I've talked to them it's been my error but they're right there making sure I am fine. When I was on vacation, I accidentally threw my device on the bed and it called right away. I was actually on an island and they found me. I was very impressed with that.

Their customer service is great. They've been very knowledgeable and they answer all of my questions. They're very helpful. I test it once a month to make sure that the system is working fine and they're right here 24/7. I wear it everyday and can go anywhere with it. I don't have to be around home and if I go out of the country they will find me if something happens.

They have served us well for our aging mother on several occasions. More specifically three weeks ago when my mother phoned me wanting me to come to her, over 30 miles away, because she didn't feel well. After hearing her symptoms I told her to push medic alert immediately and I would meet her at hospital. My mother was suffering a heart attack and we were told by her physicians if she had not called she may have died. Thank you from a grateful family!

We love it! My mom and I just absolutely love it. It gives me the freedom to leave the house occasionally without leaving her helpless. If I described their customer service, I'd say they have me at the highest satisfaction. We've just been so happy with them because I've left her alone a couple of times, and my mom has had to use them. They call me and the police. They are just awesome! If someone has an elderly parent, this service gives you a little more freedom. You don't worry as much because you know that if something happens, they have your back.

They're really nice people. I've accidentally pressed the button before and they came on the speaker right away to make sure I was alright. My mother had the same experience and it was really good. They were nice and fast when needed. I lost my husband in December, so I'm here at the end of the road by myself; I just needed something in case I fall and can't get up.

Prefer not to have fall detection. Too sensitive. May go off even when doing something as simple as pulling a shirt over head. Husband will not use at all because of sensitivity. Would prefer simply push button when needed. Perhaps someone will contact us about this problem.

Too many phone calls back to back regarding same issue. When a customer test the system it should be noted so EVERYONE in the company knows. It would be nice to have a standard phone number when you call me. I don’t like to answer phone numbers I don’t know.

I like that they check in on me. I forget to test monthly and they call. I don’t like that they use a phone number from a small nearby town. I know no one there and so do not answer the call.

It is cumbersome in that it uses the landline. In one situation, the response was not quick enough that we actually had to initiate a call to 9-1-1 and could not use the landline but a cell phone. While on the cell phone with dispatch is when the Medical Alert team came over the system to ask if we needed assistance. Otherwise, the response has usually been timely even with a false alarm.

I do have a problem I think my emergency call list might have a problem that I'll address by calling you. It appears my home number and my emergency call number is the same so when they call my emergency contact number they got a busy I assume you were calling me on my home number as well. It just seems to be a set up issue and I need to get in touch with you for that. Other than that I think the system is wonderful it does everything that I need for it to do and more.

My 95 year old mother in law has caused some accidental calls by unplugging or leaving phone off the hook and they have been wonderful about it. She fell once and they called but luckily she was okay. I've feel comfortable knowing she has this reasonably priced service.

The Medical Alert team is very responsive to your pushing the alert button. However, the alert button is very sensitive and even pulling a jacket sleeve over the alert has set it off. Also, the necklace alert button is as sensitive. It has been set off by hitting the button against a table edge! As I said, the response has been great. I am embarrassed by the fact that the team has to take time so often to answer my false alerts!

One day I threw my jeans on my bed.I forgot my alert button was in my pocket. A voice came on and said I have detected a fall. If not press the button. This is the first time it happened, but it sure gave me a wonderful feeling of security. I recommend this for anyone that lives alone . I didn't think I needed one, but I sure am glad I have it.

They always respond. So far all of my calls have either been unintended or unrealized calls. I am suprised how quickly they respond, even when I'm in the shower and can't answer their call. Someone was at the door even before I could get out of the shower.

Sadly to say, I am not completely satisfied with Medical Alert. The help I get when needed as been great. However, most every month I get a call to check my unit which is just a chance to pressure me to invest in more available items offered. I am not able to afford any more than what I already have and tell the caller this every time. I am 88 years old and living on SS. This month I did get someone who offered to change all this, help me with unwanted costs on my last 2 bills and a name and number to call should my complaint be taken care of. Hope in Sept. I do not get another "pressure to invest call". There is no way I will be getting anymore money. Sorry!"

I think that your people do a terrific job! I have had some troubles with the equipment. The older version of my necklace was great, even with fall detection. The first new version also had fall detection but it was so sensitive that it would go off every time I was riding my mobility scooter. I now have a necklace without fall detection and a second one with fall detection but I don't wear it.

Does the job perfectly, called several times for my husband now deceased. And I feel safer here with myself but will soon move to assisted living situation. But your service which keeps me safe will be the last thing I disconnect, and then only after I have totally moved out of the house and into the senior home.

They have called in paramedics to help me get up when I fall or when I am sick. The equipment is really good. The call button has a case to use. It can go in a purse or on a belt. Also, like the bracelet option instead of the necklace. When I wear the necklace, I set it off accidentally. Staff have always been friendly and helpful.

Satisfied multiple needs. The monitoring station was placed where my son can hear the alarm from his bedroom. I can trigger the alarm from my bedroom to summon him. He can turn off the alarm quick enough that Med Alert does not need to respond, while coming to render me assistance.

My Dad will be 92 this year. He has accidentally pressed the "Button" a few times, and they always alert me right away. An ambulance has showed up at his home a couple of times be for the cancelled call is made. That tells me they are on the ball. I live about 50min from Dad and feel comfortable that he is in the hands of Medical Alert.

They respond quickly when the alert goes out. I would offer different color or designs for the alert bracelet. I only use my fall detector occasionally because there were many false alerts. Nobody asked me about the lockbox when I spoke to the sales person. Too many addon charges.
