I went shopping for one of these and someone called me about it, that's why I got it. I've only used it once when I fell outside and couldn't get up. Someone came out and helped me up. I was very satisfied with it. They responded pretty soon and came out promptly.

Since my wife and daughter work for most of the day and I'm home alone a lot, I thought it would be a good thing to have in case anything happens. I have no problem using it. When I fell and couldn't move I pressed the button. They answered right away and the fire department and police department showed up in a few minutes.

No problems Easy to test and use. Purchased for my mother. She enjoys the necklace. She did replace the cord necklace with a silver chain. The watch band has not held up as well. After a while the velcro becomes worn.

There have been a few glitches. I used the device and the EMT was notified very quickly. They were good, though they misunderstood some of my instructions about the notifications. Maybe I wasn't as clear as I should've been. In general they responded and came out quickly. The device breaks sometimes though.

Fortunately, I have never had to use it in an emergency or anything. However, I live by myself here in Utah and don't have family nearby. So, I wear the pendant all the time. It lets me go about doing my normal chores around the house and shopping.

The first representative we talked to was very poor, he wouldn't even give me the prices. We talked to a different one later who was quite helpful. We usually turn it on when we get up, and put on the wristband when we go to bed. We haven't used it yet for an emergency though. Other than that, we were supposed to receive a $250 gift card on September, but we never got it and I'm concerned about it.

It's the first thing I put on as soon as I get up and dressed, but it's not exactly comfortable. It's kinda big you know. I would forget it was there and hit things, setting the alarm off by accident. The people are more than glad to answer though, and they are very good.

At night I put on the device that doesn't detect falls and during the day I put on the one that does. If I go out, I leave the medical alert device home because it does not work if I'm away. One time I was choking and I called them. They came out on time and I was in good shape. I appreciated that they came very rapidly and took care of me. Customer service has been very understandable and helpful.

Recently, I've been calling to test my wrist device and it seems that every time I call, their representatives put me on hold. There's always a very poor and busy signal and I haven't had the chance to check my device. I always use my device when I am home alone, but it at night it chokes me, the wrist scratches me, and the other one is too big. It's been a poor experience so far.

Have had them forever and they always have been there when I needed them My only concern is that your sales department calls me all the time to sell me your services. I tell them I have been with you and do not call me again and I will get more calls sometimes 2 or 3 per day. There must be some way to have them know who has your services.

The response when the alarm is sent is almost immediate - and it is so comforting to hear a live person as though someone is right there. I'd have given it a 10 except that the new pendant that is fall sensitive is too sensitive. It has gone off several times accidentally.

We purchased the Mobile unit that could be used in the car, but we cancelled it after my Dad died. Now we kept the in-house system with the fall alert. My mother wasn't wearing the device, but fortunately I was with her, so I pushed the button and the representatives were very helpful. The only trouble we had was finding an address or contact number to return some devices back. Nobody was actually Medical Alert, so they couldn't give me a number. The device's button was flashing, and we needed help with that. It was such a hard time trying to get a hold of them directly.
