We just started using this service for my dad since November. My dad had several false alerts, perhaps he hit button by mistake. Life Station responded within a minute or so both times. Fortunately, he didn’t need help, but we were impressed how fast the service kicked in.

price is best among highly rated systems; however, their service is erratic; (1) specifically, we bought the extra "fall down" feature, but today Burton fell down, did NOT get a call back and when he pressed the button the service said "we do NOT call you; you have to press button to call us". Didn't your records show that we paid extra for the fall-down button and feature??? (2) as company recommends, at end of our first month of service, we pressed button to confirm that our connection was working properly. However, after waiting nearly a minute (between time from initial pick-up, to their transfer and wait), THEN the recording said the signal was too weak and they could not connect. Before accepting the Lifestation system we tested (called via the button) from 5-6 different lication in our 10 floor hi-rise concrete/steel building, including in the basement and on the elevator. This test of service call was from Burton's kitchen (7th floor of building), so NO acceptable reason for failed connection.

So far I have only needed to call LifeStation on one occasion. They responded quickly and the Para Medics came to my aid. I do count on having LifeStation with my when ever I am alone in case of emergency. I no longer drive and when my Wife is out I feel good knowing help is only a push button away.

My mother is 93. I got this for her. She has had to use it once so far. But has hit the button many times by accident. The operators are always polite and answer very quick. I will continue to have this for her. I can now relax knowing they are there for her 24/7 when I can’t be.

I wear my Life Station phone at all times and receive frequent calls asking if I am OK. If I ask what I have done to alert them, they suggest i speak with a different department. However, this month I fell two times. One late at night in the bathroom and this past Sunday in the parking lot of a store. I was bruised but did not break anything. I was wearing the life Station phone both times. At neither time did I receive a call to find out if I was OK. After the first fall I spoke to a women in the department I was connected to in order to tell her about my fall and that I was paying for fall protection. She told me it does not work all the time and if I was not satisfied I can cancel my service at any time as I had no contract. I consider that very poor customer service.

I feel more secure since I have purchased the program. I thank them all for being alert to the signals I am unwittingly sending. We have tested the equipment and it worked fine, but the user hasn't experienced a fall or other emergency, so thankfully we haven't had to use it yet. In ordering the equipment, I was disappointed. The web site was difficult to use, and I couldn't tell what I was ordering, so I had to call customer service to place the order and make sure I was getting the system I wanted. Then I didn't get really good information, either. When we received the shipment, it included a key box which we didn't need and hadn't requested, but we were charged for, even though when I called about it I was told it was part of a package deal. We returned it immediately, as we didn't need it and didn't ask for it. I had also asked for two additional call buttons and was told while placing my order that we would receive them. When we didn't receive them, I called customer service and was told they are not available on the GPS unit that we had ordered. I hadn't been told this when I placed the order.

I loved everything about this company. The staff were very kind and helpful. The only problem we encountered was they did not cover Verizon areas, and we cannot get AT&T in our area. I even asked before ordering if their device worked in our area and their map told them it did. Too bad, I was looking forward to their great service, but had to send it back.

I just received my purchase but I can say not realizing the necklace is sensitive and I was called 3 times which was fine with me because I knew I was really protected 24 /7. The trick is to keep the button way up the sternum . I would highly recommmend Life Station 100%. It also very affordable in fact the BEST.

It is a little early for a review as I am still adjusting to wearing this alert. That being said, I find it a little "sensitive" as it went off once while fastening my seat belt as a driver and another time issued a fall alert as I was sitting down- no clue why. I wish they could make these smaller so they are not so ovbious and that the "button" was more recessed so an accidental bump didn't set it off. I was not pleased to find out the fall alert was $10 "extra" as after all, that is the whole purpose of having it. I suppose I could take it off and just take my chances.

I've had the Life Station for several years, and in fact they have replaced the units for me last year as I'd had it for over 4 years. Twice I've needed their service as I had two incidents when I woke in the middle of the night with feelings of heart irregularity, and they were quick to respond and send an ambulance, while also alerting my daughter upstairs that I was feeling bad. I am 83, and it is surely a good thing to know that I can summon help even if I am incapacitated. Thanks!

Least expensive I've found for myself. Only need it for three months while my total hip replacement become more solid. Plan to send it back. Have only paid for those three months, but will notify them of end date now, based upon other review. I chose Life Station also because they had no contract. The first unit had a buzzing sound from the transformer, so they sent an entire new unit and I had it within 3 days. The pendant around my neck is weightless, so it doesn't bug me. So far, I'm a fan.

The most rewarding thing they have done for me is to reduce my fee when I could no longer afford the 29.95 per mo. Customer care sucks! They have hung up on me numerous times when I have called for assistance on this product. I have had this watch 3 months and have yet to get the time set correctly, and there is no answer for emergency assistance...the phone just rings and rings and rings and rings....what a waste of time and effort...not to mention money!! Don't waste your hard earned money or precious time trying to use this useless piece of plastic!

My mother doesn't like the system and only really uses the cipher lock. Won't wear the wristband because it went off and you stressed her out telling her to get on the floor when she was trying to explain. She is not tech savvy. She called ambulance several times from her home phone because she doesn't trust the unit.
