I actually searched around the internet and liked their pricing and options. I'm not the one that uses it, but she likes to have the button there for help. She likes the fact that the thing is sturdy enough to weather anything. I know she feels more secure knowing she has that close by. I accidentally contacted them twice without meaning to and they were very understanding of the situation, plus they called me immediately. The only thing I wish they would do is call us every six weeks or so just to check in. Just because we haven't had to use it and it'd be nice to have some kind of way to know that it works and that they are paying attention. Otherwise, we wouldn't know.

I got it for my mom because of several reasons. The biggest factor was that they had a thirty day money back guarantee if we didn't like the service. Another reason was that she could use it anywhere she went: the car, the store, etc. It was also very important to us that the merchant and staff were all in house, we didn't have to go through another company to get to them. Any time she has accidentally called them they have been very courteous and patient. Whenever I call with questions they answer them and ask me if I have any more doubts at all. It's really nice as far as customer service goes. The device is a little bit large for a petite elderly woman like my mother though.

The price that I got with Kaiser was a big factor in my decision. I also liked the fact that it is available 24 hours a day. They don't just call emergency services, they also contact my neighbors or family if I want them to. We haven't had to use it for an emergency yet, thank goodness, but I think it was a good thing to get. Every time we've reached out for help, we've gotten what we needed. I just wish that I understood better how the main hub and everything works with. I'm still not sure if the person is speaking through the base or if I should be speaking into something else. The voice is also not very clear, it should be better quality.

I recently lost my wife after 61 years of marriage. If anything happened she was there to help me and knew everything I needed. After that happened both my family and the doctors at Kaiser recommended that I get something like this. That way, even if I lived alone, I could contact someone if I ever got in trouble. I went ahead and got this because it had the GPS function as well as the lock box for the front door. All things considered, it was probably the smartest things for me to do, being seventy years old. It's a good machine, I run tests on it every once in awhile and it all seems to work fine. They are always very nice and prompt in answering my calls. My daughter and sons get messages whenever I set it off and everything. It says just what they said it would. Other services I looked at were not as comprehensive. I haven't had to use it for an emergency, and I'm not looking forward to that day, but at least I've got something just in case.

My son and I looked over several of these companies and we decided this one would be best. Customer service has been very good in their demeanor. I'm very pleased about it, that way I don't have to worry when I call them. They're all helpful. I wear the device around my neck all the times. My husband set up the other one in the living room where I could get to if necessary. I thought we were going to get something a little cheaper, but when I got my bank statement I found it was a bit more than expected. Still, it's fine, at least we don't have to worry. I really haven't had it long, but I'm pleased with it.

We got it for my mother because they seemed fairly reasonable and, compared to other companies, they had the more reasonable prices. She uses the one that goes around the neck and also has the button that's closer to the ground. All of them have worked fine so far. In fact, she fell once in the front hallway and had to use it. They couldn't reach her because her phone was unhooked, but they still notified the paramedics and called us right away. They acted quickly and helped her. Thank God it wasn't a bad fall, but still. I hope that she won't need it again you know, but I'm happy with them and I have no reason to believe they are untrustworthy.

My friends got it for me at a time when I had two surgeries. They thought it'd be useful if I ever got in a bind so I could either contact them or drive myself to the emergency room. I don't wear the device when I'm at home since it's so small. Still, since I'm unsteady on my feet and wobbly all over the place, I carry the device with me whenever I go out. Customer service actually gave me the necklace device after I told them I wanted to be able to use the device while I'm outside. Other than that, I haven't had any major issues with them. Since my friends got it through Kaiser Permanente, we don't have to pay full price for the service. I only wish I had a bracelet instead of the necklace piece since it falls out of my shirt whenever I lean over. It's a bit inconvenient.

We got it since it had a built in GPS and that's what my boyfriend needed. When we talked to the salespeople they were really nice to talk to and seemed concerned about us. They mailed us the button through overnight shipping and it got here right away. We've only tested it so far, but somebody came on right away and asked us how he was doing and everything. They were very courteous and pleasant to talk to and really cared about us. Customer service is very caring and understand what you're going through, they get you the help you need right away. The device itself is not really big or small, he just wears it around his neck and hardly ever notices that it's there.

The service was offered by my insurance company, so I decided to go with them. I haven't had to use it, but it has been great. The device works very well, and whenever we called the emergency people they came here right away. They contacted the people that were on my list and everything has worked really well. They have been very quick at responding, stay on the phone with me, and talk to me while the emergency people come. They even follow up with me the next day. They don't really need to do that, but that type of service is great. My only complaint is with the device itself, I think it has a glitch with the fall detection feature. It has gone off without me pushing the button and I've received unnecessary calls.

I wear it around my neck of course, and I went outside one day and fell in the yard. I don't know if I knocked myself out or what, but when I came to I realized I was in the hospital. LifeStation knew I had fallen so they called and got someone to come and get me. The only problem I have is that I barely have to touch the button for it to go off. Then I get phone calls asking if I'm alright, if I don't answer they call the people in the contact list, and if I still don't get their call they will call emergency services. I don't much like that when it all happens by accident. It's too sensitive.

My dad was having seizures for a while, and on one occasion I pressed the button. They answered right away and the ambulance was here in a few minutes. It was all very efficient and I was very impressed. Other than that, my dad calls them monthly to check up on things. They are always very kind to him and very curious. Whenever we call for an emergency, they act quickly. I'm impressed with the fact that the device works all the way out in the driveway, which is a bit far from the house. We're also very far from the city since we live in the country, and it still works. It has been a great thing.

My niece got it for me since they were concerned about me. They wanted me to have some way to notify or call for help if I ever fell. So far I haven't had to use it, but I've pressed the button by accident and they've responded very well and immediately. They've been there for me right away. Other than that, I haven't really had to talk much with them. They contacted me when the battery of the neck piece I wear was going off. They notified and got me a new one without any interruption of the service. On an occasion, early in the morning, I woke up and heard a voice coming from the family room. I thought it was the TV until I got a call from LifeStation. Apparently I had accidentally set it off since I wear it on my neck all the time. They contacted me and settled things right away.

I had gone to the hospital for a hip replacement. Nowadays they don't send you to a rehab center, they just send you directly home after the surgery, so I decided to get some form of medical alert system. I chose them because they offered the services that I needed, and I knew that I would get a good response time. Since I live alone, having the device gave me some confidence. Fortunately I haven't had to use it, but whenever I test it, the response is immediate. Customer service has been very god. I live in a prewar building, so a lot of the outlets were not compatible. Because of that, they had to get me a different device. They were very helpful when returning the original device and helped me get the second one installed and made sure it worked. The price has also been very affordable compared to some other devices. It has been comforting to know it is there if I need it. As an older person, it gives you a lot of security to know that if you're home alone you have the assistance that you need.

My daughter decided it was for me, since I had just turned 84 years old. I live out in the country, surrounded by woods and I'm always out there, working, picking up sticks, and doing all kinds of things. She worried that if anything happened, I wouldn't be able to call someone, so she got it for me. When I get up every morning, the first thing that I do is put it on and wear it until I go to bed. If I'm going out to town I don't take it with me because it doesn't reach that far. I haven't had any emergencies or situations where I needed to call them, but when they check in with me once a month they've always been supportive and nice. When my pendant stopped working, instead of just sending me a new battery, I received a whole pendant. Now even when I go down the steps to the basement when I use the washer and dryer, I feel more secure. I know they will respond real fast, in just a few seconds.

I don't really live alone, but the person that lives with me has to go and do things on occasions. That's why I have it with me. I haven't had to use it very much, maybe once or twice and had an ambulance come here on one of those occasions. I've accidentally set it off, I have one of those things that you put on the door in case somebody gets in. It has been good for me to have something like that. I test it fairly often to make sure that everything is working well. Recently we haven't had good service though. We just went through a hurricane and we lost our electricity. The battery backup wasn't enough for it to last, so we didn't really have it during that time. Other than that, I'm very happy with it.

I've gotten a lot of good use out of my machine. I've had it for about 5 or 6 months and I think I've used it about 4 or 5 times, but I've never been on the floor for 68 hours and that's quite remarkable. Usually I just wear the device around my neck, take it off to charge it and that's it. When I do fall, it's nice that you can push a button and they'll call the ambulance, my wife, or someone who can help me. The people who answer the phone are always kind. They call you by your name, ask you if there's anything wrong, and they are always there for me. It doesn't matter if it's 2 o'clock in the morning. I found myself on the floor at that time once. I had gotten up to get some water and take my medicine. I fell and tried to yell for my wife, but I didn't want to wake the whole house so I just called the person with the device and the operator that responded called my wife. Otherwise I would've had to lay on the floor all night. It was quite comforting to have something that I could use to communicate with them. I think that the basic design of the system is a lot better than what it was before. I've had no disappointments of any type since I've got it. Sometimes it does take longer to get a hold of someone, but after 5 or 6 second they're always there.

Life Stations is less expensive that some other medical alert systems. In my own personal experience they always have responded appropriately. Three weeks ago I was in an incapacitated state, my aunt came over and saw my condition and hit the button and told them I needed assistance and they immediately sent an ambulance. Their customer support is very informative and professional and I have no negative experience whatsoever. The only thing I'd suggest to them, is to have a GPS where you can get found anywhere you want, I live and travel alone and I have been considering changing because of that one mobile alert they are missing, so I might have to change. Other than that, I am pleased with it.

The customer service has been very helpful over the years that we've had them. I like the demeanor of the individuals that answer the phone and their ability to be come in a crisis. I just got through testing the device and it did take a little bit of time for them to answer it. In fact it stops saying "emergency" and then we have to wait for somebody to answer or pick up but I did have to use it for a number of falls and a stroke for my mom. Overall, it's been great.

When my mom hit the button accidentally in the shower, their response was incredible. All members listed as emergency contacts were called in succession as were the police. The police arrived before family members to thankfully find my mom safe. I feel very confident and reassured with LifeStation. I will note that, when setting up the service, add the LifeStation phone number to your contacts. You won't need to call them in an emergency, but when they call you, it would be beneficial to have that contact name appear instead of an unfamiliar number.

I got Life Station at my daughter's insistence, and after we all researched the product and service. This appeared to be the best fit for us at a price we wanted to pay. When my husband recently died, I called the company to cancel his unit. The rep explained what I needed to do (reutrn his unit and charger), and the matter was taken care of. We never had to use our units for an emergency - and I hope I never have to - but when we accidentally triggered a call, the rep came on quickly to determine we were okay. I'm very pleased with LifeStation and don't intend to switch companies.

We've always had a prompt response when we called. It's easy to use. There's a station that goes into the land line because they did not have cell service or GPS in their area. When we first got it, we tested it and we've had some mishaps where my mother touched it and someone came on. They were very polite and she told them it wasn't an emergency. The techs were able to call us and they were able to tell us it wasn't a life threatening emergency. Everything's working great. We had a great response.

Every time I activate it, they're right on the line. I like that it's automatic recharge. They are very quick to respond. It hangs around my neck and it's a little bit heavy but it's not that big and easy to activate. There has been a day where they came out right away. There was a lot of noise around me and my first responder couldn't find it because I was outside watching fireworks and I didn't have my phone so she came and found me. The service is quick. You don't have to wait or get impatient. It works well. I like the pendant I have on my neck. It's small and not scratchy. It goes in and out of the shower with me. I've had it for a couple of years now and it still hasn't broken or gotten any problems. When we tested the device, we got a quick response. I do have one concern because I don't have any kind of lock thing for my door that would hold a key. If the emergency people needed to get in my house, they would have to break my door so I have concerns about that.

They gave me emotional support. Another company has batteries that never need recharging. As soon as someone comes in to take care of me, I put it on the charger to keep it charged because I try to wear it all the time. I used it one time and they called everybody that was on my list and I had to call them and let them know that they don't have to call everybody. Everybody panicked, even my son up in Northern California. So I had to adjust that but other than that, it's been excellent.

They've always been very responsive and helpful. The system works well and alerts when she does fall. We use it pretty much every day. We recently were in Fresno and she fell and then they called me and we were able to take care of things. We didn't need to call an ambulance and it was great. I think it's a really good device. They give you support if you have any questions or whatever. They have good answers for you. It's around my neck and it provided me with very good safety. I used it once and thank goodness I had it. I enjoy it very much. I took it and pushed the middle button and the police and fire department and ambulance came out and helped. I hurt myself very badly and so I had to have extra help.

It was difficult for my father who is 94 to push the button. It was always difficult getting it to work. You push it several times to get it to work. Sometimes when I accidentally hit the button, the service is great. They are always on the ball to get that shut off so I don't have anybody coming out. I have the one that goes around my neck. I like it, but the thing that I don't like is that sometimes it goes around my neck tight and I don't know how to fix that. I've tested it and it's very responsive, like right away. It goes into the reset mode and no problems whatsoever. I have had it where I didn't get back to the station itself and I had my daughter calling, my neighbor calling, and it responded really fast.

The necklace part is a little bit long therefore when you're washing dishes it triggers it. I think they could just maybe shorten the necklace part of it so it doesn't hang as low. They're really good. Their response is really quick. My mother pressed it in error and they contacted all of us and we are aware of it even if it's on accident and we like that. That insures us that she's using the device instead of just sitting it on the desk.

They always answer me within 40 seconds. They're very courteous.Very clear, very concise. Just very good. I like that it's easy to access. It's powerful. I can talk from close by or in another room or even from the basement and they can hear me. I like that if they don't get an answer, they come automatically. The one time I really needed it, I had an issue, it was not LifeStation, it was the phone line because it was down. I was not able to use my LifeStation and I was on the floor for 2 days and finally somebody came to fine me and I had medical treatment after that. It wasn't LifeStation's fault, it was the phone service's.

I've always had a quick response from them and the people that I've talked to have always been informative and very nice on the phone. I like everything about it. I wear it every day and every time I've use it, the people that had come on came some quickly. I had to change the black cloth that hold it because it made my neck raw and hurt so I got a shoelace that was very thin and put it on and that's been fine.

I love everything about the device. I put it on top of my toilet when I was taking a shower and it fell off and it went off and I didn't hear it because I am upstairs and when I got out of the shower, my phone was ringing and it was my daughter and she was calling to see if I was okay and that the paramedics were on their way. They've been there when we need them. They were quick about doing what they had to do. The only thing they need to improve upon is possibly the phone numbers coming up to people that they're reaching out to if a person needs help. They've been very kind to me. Every time I've called I've got what I needed. Anytime I've pushed buttons, they were right there and sent help. I couldn't be more pleased. LifeStation is fine for what I wanted. I'm going to go to one that will give me coverage anywhere I go. The one I have now has to be within four hundred feet of my house in any direction. I've tested it several times. This last time, they called me because the battery was getting low and they took care of that for me.

I just wish it would go anywhere instead of just around the house. I used it a few times. I was at my summer home once and I came through the cellar and I fell down the cellar and they came and got me out. I think the button should be a little better. It works like the length of a football field around the house and I'm out on the go a lot and I would like to have it working away from the house. I like that they take out the payment automatically.

I had a fall a couple of weeks ago and there was a lot of blood involved and I punched the button and the first person on the list was there within minutes and then right after the paramedics were here. I accidentally pushed the button yesterday and they called and asked me if I needed help as they did when I fell and I told them no, that it was an accident. They said "that's okay, we just are very glad that you're okay".

When it goes off, I always get a response right away. My only complaint was when I would wear it in the kitchen and lean over, it would hit up against the counter and it would go off. I have had several false alarms and the EMS would come out and I didn't like that at all. I didn't like the false alarms so I wanted to get the wristband but the man I spoke to said it didn't have the automatic fall alert like the necklace.

My button wore out so they sent me a new button and within one week after getting it, I accidentally banged it against something and it keeps on calling in an emergency and they said they can't give me a new button. I shouldn't have it going off by accidenty all the time. The customer support always responds quickly. They are always nice and helpful.

I know there's been a couple of times something went off but they called right away and checked with me to see if I was okay. I think it's great. I think they do respond quickly and the answer to the questions that I've called about. I've had one unit that goes in the bathroom and it goes on your shower wall and I'll tell you that scared me because it was kind of falling off and it wouldn't stick anymore. And right away, I could hear them calling out to me so I know it's working.

I do check in every couple months to make sure the machine is working. The customer service is very nice and thank me for checking and they reset the machine and then I'm good to go again. It's easy to use and they are very quick to answer my call. They make it easy to pay. The monthly billing goes to one of my cards so I never have to worry about forgetting to pay, it's just automatic.

If I made a mistake and pressed my button, they were always nice and they reset my machine. One time the original machine I had was broken and the company was very kind and understanding and they sent me a new one. It's so loud I swear you can hear it outside and I asked them about it and they said it's just the way it has to be so in order to be heard throughout my apartment. That's the only thing I don't like very much.

Everything went so seamlessly from my first call to equipment retrieval, to equipment set up. It was just fantastic. When we first got the unit, there was a problem with the device. They very clearly talked through the situation with me and within 48 hours we had another device on hand. There was no finger pointing. They acknowledged it right away that it was equipment malfunction, apologized, and took care of it. It's so simple as a single butotn.
