They keep calling wanting more money monthly, stating its for "insurance" if anything happens to it. They sure can't tell you what it would cost if you lost it or it broke. And why should we pay for it if it broke? It is called wear and tear. it is on an elderly person.

I had a call to them 3 weeks ago because I cut my leg on shower door and being as I am on blood thinners, there was blood everywhere. I tried to contact Medical Alert and I got repeatedly was "We can't locate you". You have my address...why can't you locate me? Very disappointing. First time I used you. Thought about cancelling service.

I assume your system is automatic as when I called to notify you that I was without electricity to charge my system and not to call my children, they were called and I was reminded during the night to charge my unit. This is very disturbing and I sincerely hope you are able to find a fix for that problem.

They always respond. So far all of my calls have either been unintended or unrealized calls. I am suprised how quickly they respond, even when I'm in the shower and can't answer their call. Someone was at the door even before I could get out of the shower.

One day I threw my jeans on my bed.I forgot my alert button was in my pocket. A voice came on and said I have detected a fall. If not press the button. This is the first time it happened, but it sure gave me a wonderful feeling of security. I recommend this for anyone that lives alone . I didn't think I needed one, but I sure am glad I have it.

Sadly to say, I am not completely satisfied with Medical Alert. The help I get when needed as been great. However, most every month I get a call to check my unit which is just a chance to pressure me to invest in more available items offered. I am not able to afford any more than what I already have and tell the caller this every time. I am 88 years old and living on SS. This month I did get someone who offered to change all this, help me with unwanted costs on my last 2 bills and a name and number to call should my complaint be taken care of. Hope in Sept. I do not get another "pressure to invest call". There is no way I will be getting anymore money. Sorry!"

I think that your people do a terrific job! I have had some troubles with the equipment. The older version of my necklace was great, even with fall detection. The first new version also had fall detection but it was so sensitive that it would go off every time I was riding my mobility scooter. I now have a necklace without fall detection and a second one with fall detection but I don't wear it.

They have called in paramedics to help me get up when I fall or when I am sick. The equipment is really good. The call button has a case to use. It can go in a purse or on a belt. Also, like the bracelet option instead of the necklace. When I wear the necklace, I set it off accidentally. Staff have always been friendly and helpful.

Satisfied multiple needs. The monitoring station was placed where my son can hear the alarm from his bedroom. I can trigger the alarm from my bedroom to summon him. He can turn off the alarm quick enough that Med Alert does not need to respond, while coming to render me assistance.

My Dad will be 92 this year. He has accidentally pressed the "Button" a few times, and they always alert me right away. An ambulance has showed up at his home a couple of times be for the cancelled call is made. That tells me they are on the ball. I live about 50min from Dad and feel comfortable that he is in the hands of Medical Alert.

They respond quickly when the alert goes out. I would offer different color or designs for the alert bracelet. I only use my fall detector occasionally because there were many false alerts. Nobody asked me about the lockbox when I spoke to the sales person. Too many addon charges.

They've called me a couple of times because they seem to get some sort of alert from my device around my neck. They called me at times when they seemed to think that something was going wrong. They've always been good. They did call me once when I hadn't been doing the monthly check just to make sure everything was okay with the whole device.

The cord that goes around the neck with the pendant on it is absorbent it constantly bothers me and makes me itch I might be a little allergic to it but maybe it's because of just absorbency all the oil's and everything in your skin and it's I don't know what to do with it and the other thing is there are so many medical alert places out there on the market now. I have called some of those places thinking it was the one I am hooked up with and they are somebody else going under that same name Great Call is one of them . I also think it would be nice if you could somehow get the pendant well a bracelet to go to way so I could talk to it and not have to carry that other big thing around in my purse. Not that it's so big but it's just another big bulky thing in my purse. And so many times I walk out of the house and forget to go back and get it. Sometimes it takes a long time for them to answer the phone maybe they're busy I don't know what the deal is on your end but it will ring and ring and I'm thinking if I am just sitting here and really having some bad problems waiting for them to answer I could lose probably several minutes waiting. I think you could have nicer bracelets that would look better on a person instead of them looking at it and say oh you've got to wear one of those bracelets . End of story hey story continues. Another thing I don't like is is the automated all the time why can't we just still waiting on the line why can't we just have a real person answer and we can be right with him and set of having to wait again and again and wonder am I going to the right place. Too much automated stuff need to talk to real person. The end.

When I first got it, I wore it around my neck and after less than a week it broke and the button was lost so I had to do reorder and purchase a maintenance program in case it broke again. I was not happy about that but I have been wearing it on my wrist now and it is a little uncomfortable and gets in the way of writing and typing and things like that. I have accidentally pushed the button a few times and they have responded and taken care of it. They respond right away and keep responding until I answer and I think it is very good and attentive.

My husband had Medical Alert and used it two or three times and they were wonderful and so I got it for me. I feel secure because I have it because if I fall, I think they will be here for me. It is expensive but I think it is important to have in case I fall so I think the money is worth it.

I like the idea of the wristband plus the thing around your neck but I don't like wearing it. I wish it wound come in white instead of black but it is very convenient and it doesn't get in the way. I feel comfortable that I have it. They answer right away and were here within minutes.

It was a gift from my son because I have been to the hospital several times and it has certainly helped me when I really needed them. One of the best things about it is they're here in five minutes. They respond quickly and effectively. With no one else to call it is very important they got here in a timely fashion.

I've had it for a few years and I haven't had to use it for a fall but I like the fact that I know that I have it available working for me, it gives me peace of mind. It is easy to use. I am unhappy that the new device in one I shouldn't be sleeping in and the wristband is difficult to put on. The hole is too short and have an extremely difficult time clasping it. I am very unhappy with the wrist device now but until just recently I was feeling very positive. Also I have started paying more and since I don't like the wristband I was unhappy about that too.

They let me know if the system's not running or if I need any help. If I hit a button the wrong way, they immediately answer to make sure everything's okay. It would be nice if they could contact doctors or whatever so they know.

I used it two weeks ago. The doctor ordered me to get to the hospital so I used my medical alert to call an ambulance and it worked beautifully. They respond instantly when the buzzer goes off. I use the bracelet rather than the one around my neck because it's too long for me. It's very loud.

I've had to use it twice and they've come within ten minutes. Both times they were excellent, the ambulance, the whole thing. I wear the wrist one but I think I'd much rather have the one that hangs on my neck. They've been right there when I needed them and even when I wanted to check it. They are very kind and excellent.

I did use it on several occasions and I was very pleased. I had the ambulance that came. They took me to the hospital. They were very good. They were right on the ball. They'd come immediately. They're very pleasant and they do everything to help you. I had a broken piece and they sent me new ones with no problem.

They are always fast to respond, fast to send help over. When I was at work they would call me to tell me that my husband fell and that they were sending an ambulance to my house and then they would call the paramedics to find out my husband's status and let me know.

I had a severe attack and told them that I needed an ambulance, and they got one to me within 7 minutes. It usually takes at least 30 when I call 911. I had a problem with one of my pendants, but they called me to let me know they were monitoring something wrong with it and they sent me a new one right away.

You push the button, and they call to ask if you are okay. As soon as they know you're not okay, they send someone to you right away. I tested it once and they were at my door within five minutes. I like how they treat their customers so well.

They are much cheaper than what I have found elsewhere. I love that they're so prompt and a nice company to be with. I love the device because I can either carry it in my pocket, on my wrist, or around my neck. It's very handy. When I push my buttons, they respond very quickly.

Every time I call with a question, I always get an acceptable reply. I have found that the chain around my neck is a little but too long. The button with swing and call because of it. I went on a walk once and when I came back I found fire trucks outside of my house because it had called them and I couldn't answer the phone.

They have contacted me on several occasions to see if it's working. I think the necklace needs some improvement, I have trouble trying to undo it. I recently got the fall detection one, but I have not used it a whole lot because they told me not to wear it at night when I am sleeping.
