I have the pendant that I wear all the time expect when it's charging. I'm very pleased with it I had a couple of accidental activation on it and the people who has answered those had been very kind and are glad that I'm okay. I had been dealing with another company and one time I needed them and I pressed the button and I got no answer. A friend was here with me and she ended up turning off that thing and calling 911 on her phone, also the fact that I can take this with me anywhere I go and know that if I press the button somebody's gonna answer me were with the other company if I was away I couldn't do that I would have to depend on dialing 911 on my phone if I could get through this if something happened so this is good that I can do this with your company and I couldn't with the other company.

I LIKE THE WAY MEDICAL ALERT RESPONDS TO MY QUESTIONS. THEY WERE SLOW ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF RETURNED ITEM ON MY ACCOUNT RESULTING IN MY RECEIVING TWO CALLS ASKING ME TO TEST MY EQUIPMENT AND ONE CALL REQUESTING A PAYMENT I DID NOT OWE. THE CALLS WERE AN INCONVENIENCE/ HOWEVER, ONCE I EXPLAINED THINGS THE ISSUES WERE PLEASANTLY RESOLVED.

It works! I was taking a shower and although, you can wear it in the shower, I hung it on a towel bar within my reach. It wasn't secure on the towel bar and fell to the floor. Immediately the alarm went off and within seconds an operator was on the unit asking if I was needing help. I explained that I was okay and that it fell on the floor accidently and I was okay. I felt foolish, but, relieved that it worked and she heard my voice.

It is far superior to most companies in having knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly agents ready to solve any issue that arises with Medical Alert devices or service. I had to use the service several times when my wife returned from the hospital suffering from colon cancer and several times when my wife was in home hospice care. we lived 60 miles south of Presbyterian hospital in Albuquerque. She suffered for six months before she passed away. Now I have a dvice I wear around my neck that activates the device if I cannot reach the phone. I was told that a woman fell in her home and she laid on the floor for 28 hours before she got help.

We signed up for Medical Alert for my mother in February 2011. They were very reliable in contacting emergency services, and 3 family members whenever the alert was triggered. The company was attentive in contacting my mother periodically to make sure the unit was working. They updated their equipment and alarms periodically or at our request. We were very satisfied with Medical Alert's service.

They have great services. They are quick to respond even if it is a false alarm. My cat twice has stepped on the emergency button during the night and the medics showed up and I didn't realize the button was pushed until they were coming up the steps calling my name. They were very nice and understanding. Now I take the necklace off at night so it doesn't happen again.

Very good service. I live in NC and my mother lives in NH. This was the best company I found after researching many. Set up was extremely easy. Even when my mother lost her bracelet, they replaced it free of charge. I feel much safer knowing my mother has her bracelet on. Plus having the fall detection aspect of the device was what she needed most of all. Now that she's monitored I can breath a sigh of relief knowing that help won't be far away.

They are very prompt to speak when I punch the button whether in the house or outside the house. Have had to do that several times and help was on the way very quickly. One time I had fallen in the yard. They got no answer from me so they tried to call phone number listed and got no one to answer so they sent the EMTs and quick response Fire Response.

Haven't had a problem with the device that wasn't corrected. In addition to the last review I would like to say we were out and visiting an aunt for the day. My mother had a fall and I called the medical alert people to get her assistance. They were able to call EMT to come and assist her to her feet so we could finish our visit. Again they deserve 5 stars. Thank you for all you do.

My 91-year-old blind mother falls frequently, and when she cannot get up, she simply pushes her button and within minutes the EMS team arrives and helps her up and make sure she is OK. Before she had the medical alert, she fell and laid on the floor all night long next to her bed. I never want this to happen again! The device allows my mom to live independently for as long as possible.

They were very very helpful in making sure that if something should happen that they could get into the house. They set us up with a lock box and all of those things in the interior. So far, it's been a rather helpful tool for her and gives her a degree of comfort. So we are pleased. They do stay in touch and they want us to stay in touch and when we get negligent, which we often do, they will touch based to find out if everything is okay.

It just dropped from my bed to the floor and it dialed Medical Alert. So I know that it's very good if I fall. It's going to go off. The customer service are so so nice. You never get someone that sounds like they are tired or upset because we drop the medical alert and it goes off. They ask if the person is okay and that they are authorized to use it. Then they ask about yourself and if the person that you live with is okay. I just felt really really special.

My device accidentally alerted the company and I did not hear the device in the other part of the house and help was here within 10 minutes of when the alert apparently went in. I don't answer the phone if I don't see a name or number I recognize and therefore didn't get the call from Medical Alert. My son called as you had notified him and his name showed on the phone so I answered his call. Now I know that a call from Medical Alert will show up on phone as "Rap Resp" so will know to answer it if it happens again.

It gives us, (the family) piece of mind in the event of a fall. However the person who is benefiting from the service believes it is a waste of money and refuses to wear her bracelet. Her family is grateful that there are several buttons in her home in the event of the inevitable fall. She believes we should cancel the service because she has never had to use it! Very frustrating for family who live a good distance from her.

They are quick to answer your questions. I am simply put out of one thing. I did not even have the device for two months and was informed that I had to get another device for around my neck to do different things. I think because it was so new I should have gotten it to begin with and not made to pay an additonal $40.00 for it. If this happens again I will simply cancel it. It is not as if I am senile because I still drive to and from work and work every day!

Very easy to use and I find it very efficient. I did a lot of research on other brands and companies before deciding on Medical Alert. I have the GPS because we do a lot of bike riding and I wanted security if something happened. I feel confident if I have an emergency that they will be on top of it. When I do my tests they are right there. Anybody I have interfaced with has been more than courteous and they take the time to explain stuff. They are always there when I pick up the phone.

Medica Alert is always helpful with answering questions and walking me through things. I have always been satisfied when I have questions. I know they are there if I need them. I feel comfortable having it because I am a widow who lives alone. I wear the bracelet all the time. It is expensive and hard for me to keep up but I feel I need it in case of an emergency.

it's worth the amount of money you pay for it. I am very happy with them. I use it in the mornings when I go for my mile long walks and when I run my medical appointments and stuff like that. It works and anytime I have accidentally dropped it or do something I shouldn't, it goes off and they are there. They have great customer service, they call and make sue verything is okay and the device is working.

I've had this sort of system before for years but I just moved so I had to get a new one. I found their ad and I thought I would check them out and I was very impressed. I know it is there if I need it and that's very good. I accidentally pushed the button one time and they called me back right away to see if there was a problem. They are a little expensive.

Easy to carry around the apartment and the main unit is right there in the middle so it's convenient. I wear it around my neck when I am at home. Once I accidentally set it off when I was sleeping and they were very attentive to see if I was alright. Sometimes I think the microphone isn't loud enough when I am in the shower but I was able to communicate with someone when I tested it.

They are prompt and always courteous. It is easy to use and convenient and not very expensive. My family got it for me because I am by myself and they wanted to make sure that if anything happens, somebody would be able help. One time in the middle of the night I bumped the unit and people came to my door and they were banging on the door and I answered it and said I was okay. It's nice to know that if something happened they would be here quickly.

Response time is really good and the device is really loud so my dad can hear it really well. One time my dad fell out of his chair and couldn't get himself back up and the paramedics came and were able to get him back in his chair. The people are always helpful though I have had to call for different reasons and I do have to wait quite a while because they are pretty busy.

I had accidentally called twice when I first got it but then I leaerned how to use it and I've no problem since then. I had to replace one of the buttons because I accidentally pulled it off and I got top service and I'm very pleased with the new card they have on it. It's very easy to use and stays close to your body. When I was firsting wearing it and I wasn't aware of exactly where it was, I leaned against the kitchen counter and pushed the button and before I could do anything the ambulances were here.

I haven't had to use it, but it's been contacting me because of my seat belt or anything like that but I wasn't aware that it was causing it to go off. They have contaacted me when I hit anything with it thinking that I had fallen. It has come to my assistance even when I didn't require it. The minute anything happened everybody's on alert and ready to come.

It's very reliable, and it's easy to charge. The charge lasts more than 48 hours, so if you're going away you don't need to bring all of the charging equipment with you. I've tested it and had to get used to the sensitivity and response because it was a little bit unnerving. It started to ring, and I didn't realize it was happening because the button got pressed when I was leaning over. But, it was an immediate call and response.

I'm so glad I had this when I fell in the kitchen. I'm eighty-one years old and I couldn't get up, but I had the medical alert hanging on my neck so I punched the button and right away they called my daughter and my son in law. They came and helped me.. I think it's a good support system, they answered right away when I needed them. I'm just really happy I have it because I live alone and this gives me the confidence that I can stay by myself and if I need help, help is available.

I had an experience when the button was pushed accidentally and the EMT's came to my house. I was embarrassed, but glad they responded so fast. The EMT's told me not to worry about it, cause it happens all the time. When the button is pushed there is someone under your call and they'll take care of you. I'm on a fixed budget, retired and live by myself but this is very important to have even though it's kind of expensive.

This gives us comfort that we have something to push in case we have an emergency. My wife has it on all the time, she wears around her neck and the button is easy to use. When its goes off for any reason or accidentally we get called right away and they are on top of it. Its like any other insurance policy you want to own it but you don't want to use it.

It meets my budget, and I can afford it. The staff is nice and patient, they aren't in a hurry and will talk and laugh with me. This device can detect any kind of fall. When I accidentally dropped my device they immediately checked on me, asking, "are you alright, are you okay?" I love that it makes me feel secure and that you are watching out for me.

We haven't had to use it yet but my wife has Alzheimer's and we take her out walking, and she is not really steady on her feet so, we have the fall alert and we take the base station with it so if we had to call in we could. The response when I call in is excellent and they were very courteous in getting it set up. They have been understanding and nice when I had some problems and had a few accidents, they didn't make me feel like I was not very bright when I kept having a problem. They helped me straighten it out and I appreciated their attitude. We are confident if we need it for a real emergency it will work and they will be there for us.

My husband and I both wear the necklaces. He is not able to walk, so it gives him confidence. It's something that can be worn underneath clothing or on top. My husband can easily press it with his bad texterity in his fingers. I like their courteous people that answer the phone, they have a very quick response. I like their promptness in how they answer. I usually put it on when my husband plays golf and I'm here alone. I'm a disabled person and a medical alert is good for me. This is a really good idea for people when they get older and have a tendency to slip. I like the wristband better than the pendant. The pendant gets in the way but you don't even know you have the wristband on. When I had a problem with the monitor, they easily sent me a new one. I like the security of having this.

They respond even when I push the button by accident, they responded right away, it has just been great. The people I have talked to on the phone are very pleasant, helpful and understand what I'm talking about. They did a good job explaining my GPS and how it works. I feel very secure and that's my main goal. With this device I have access to the police, medical and the fire department. so I'm very pleased with it.

It is well worth the investment. I have had it for a couple of years and I'm happy with it. I wear it during the day after I get up and when I go out at night, I always carry a medical alert with me in case anything ever happens, I have somebody with me all the time. It's like having a constant companion. When I accidentally pushed the button one time they called me right up to talk to me. The company and service is excellent.

A year ago I fell, it was a wakeup call for me and I knew it was time to get a medical alert system. They sent me a new one just recently that that I don't even have to touch the button if I need them. It alerts them if you are having a heart problem or if I fall. It just knows I'm having a problem. It's a little expensive for a senior citizen on a limited income.

I saw the ad in the magazine about Medical Alert, so I got their device. I haven't had to use the device yet, but my puppy is prone to hitting it while it's on my lap, and it will accidentally set the alarm off. Then, they call me two or three times until they finally got the message that I was okay. I appreciate that when they call, they're interested in my welfare.

I live alone and it's a dangerous situation, especially in the winter. I have two devices. One for when I'm in the shower, and one that is a pendant that I can wear around my wrist. I wear the bracelet all day. It's a pretty good support system, and it's a device that when you fall, it automatically calls for assistance. I think it's a great system, and I don't think they're going to sell me some product that's not worth the extra money.

I like the device because I can move around and still be covered in the case of an emergency. I can always reach them when I have a problem with a situation. It's comforting to talk to someone on the phone when you're in trouble. I like that the device isn't too big or too small - it's just the right size and very handy. This is a very good and convenient service, and I plan to keep it.

There's always been someone willing to help me in Medical Alert's customer service department. They've given me answers I've needed and have been really good about it. I've never had to use it because I haven't fallen since I've gotten it. I feel very good about having it incase I do fall or go outside. I was attacked in October by two pit bulls, and the medical alert device literally saved my life. I was able to get in contact with the people who could help me, and the police and first responders got here just in time to help me. I've never had any problems getting it to work, and everything it going right. I can take it with me wherever I go, and I'm not confined to the house with it. It makes me feel very comfortable wherever I go.

Medical Alert has the best price and the best features. I try to wear their device all the time, although I don't wear it around my neck. I have pushed it a couple of times while it's been in my pocket. In the few times I've actually used it, my friends have been able to come over and check me out to make sure I'm okay. Medical Alert's customer support keeps track of me, and if I don't call them once a month, they call to remind me to check the button and have it tested. I think the device can be a bit cumbersome at times. I don't wear it around my neck because the teeth from the back of it have come off. I also have used the clip that goes around my belt area or on a purse.

Price was the biggest factor for me when I decided to go with Medical Alert. My father took ill a few days ago, and was feeling chest pains. Their customer support was very responsive, and the paramedics were there as soon as they could. They have been extremely good at solving problems. I've only had one issue with them - billing. I wasn't too pleased that it took them four months to credit our account. Other than their billing department not being too effective, the medical alert unit is wonderful.
