My children got this for me after I had a stroke. I haven't had to use it yet but when you have a stroke you just feel that extra need for a little bit of support. Having it gives me a sense of security that I wouldn't have otherwise. The rare times that I've called them or used it to test it, the device has worked. Customer support is always right there on the spot with the information that I need. It's all there for me in case of emergencies.

I saw and ad about it and just kind of went with it, I didn't look at any others. I just knew that with my heart condition and other medical issues that I had, I needed something that I could have with me. Thank god I have been okay and haven't had to use it. I accidentally hit the button once though and the phone rang almost immediately. They were very concerned about me even though it had just been an accident and there was nothing wrong. The button is easy to use. It makes me feel like I can live on my own and that I can get help whenever I need it.

I got it several years ago. It just seemed to offer all the things that I wanted you know, US based customer service and things like that. I just thought it was as good as other services out there so I got it. I've never really had a reason to use it. I do my monthly check to make sure it's functioning and everything, but beyond that I don't have any experience.

I contacted the insurance provided by the state's teachers retirement and they recommended it to me. I've only had to use it a couple of times, but they actually saved my life some two years ago. I stopped breathing and I managed to punch the button before I passed out. Next thing I know I woke up two days later with a respirator on. They said that I had died but it saved my life.

I've had LifeStation for 3 and a half years now. I think they were the first ones that we talked to when we looked into getting something like this. My stepdaughter is the one that usually takes care of this kind of business and she got it a bit after I went to the hospital. I use it when I need it, but I've only really had an emergency once. That time they took care of my problems. I just know that it works and it's good for me. I haven't had any problems with it, it just works well.

The main reason why I got it was because their operators were in the United States. Customer service has answered all my questions and has been very responsive so far. As for the equipment, I'm not sure. Mine is connected to the phone line but I don't know for sure if there's a problem with that. The phone has gotten disconnected a couple of times and I did try to check it but I'm not sure. When I picked it the price was good, but now I'm getting my people to try and get something cheaper...

The main reason I went with them was because I didn't need to sign a contract. Thank goodness I've never had to use it. A couple of times I accidentally pressed the button and their operator was right there to help me. I was very pleased to find that out and because of that I just automatically trust them. I've had no problems and I hope I never run into any issues in the future.

I just got it since it was a basic machine that covered my needs. I didn't really need anything fancy. Any time I've had a problem with the machine or if I have a question they have been very courteous in terms of answering me. They are also very prompt about it. As for the device, other than testing it to make sure that it works I haven't really needed it for a medical emergency. Still, when I do that it appears that there are no problems with the machine.

My daughter insisted that I get it, so I did. I've had no problems with it and they've checked in with me every month or so. I fell one day and I couldn't get up. I finally managed to get myself to the couch and pull myself up. That's when I remembered I had the button around my neck and I had forgotten to use it. That's the story of my life support there. Still, I think it's good.

Me and my wife were considering something like this for my mother in law and she came up with LifeStation. I've never really had a problem with them. We've just kept the system up and running and whenever there was a trip in the system we always got a response. The device works fine. It's all more than just valuable. It has given us the freedom to move about while making sure that my mother in law is covered and safe.

On an occasion they tried to contact me but since I was on the phone they went and called my daughter. The device works fabulously. It actually saved my mother's life in the end of 2017.

I looked at consumer reports and other financial things about it and as far as that went they seemed to be what I was looking for to give to my mother. The unit itself was excellent. She constantly wore the pendant and they were excellent whenever she had calls. There were a couple of times when she needed their help and they called the ambulance and contacted the neighbors as well. That part of the process went very well. Currently though I've been trying to contact them to cancel the service since my mother no longer needs it. She moved to an assisted living facility. LifeStation hasn't returned my calls about that though. I mean, customer service is great about taking care of the patient, but as far as the actual administration side of things, I'm not happy with them.

My daughter was the one that picked it for me. Whenever I call them they're very nice, polite, and cooperative. The life support alarm sometimes goes off when it shouldn't. It has gone off in the middle of the night if I turn around in my bed. There's got to be a way to adjust it so that it doesn't detect falls that way. Still, I want it to be there and available when I fall.

I didn't really make an informed decision. I just saw a commercial for it on T.V. or somewhere in the internet and since I needed a service like that I just went with it. I've had to use the service on 2 separate occasions and they were very prompt. On one of those times I had fallen in the kitchen and couldn't get up. They sent in the fire department, they came in through the window and took me to the hospital. That happened actually some three years ago. Service was very prompt and I felt very pleased. Fortunately, I haven't had any other incidents.

I got it because the price was good. At first I had some trouble with them. It turns out that if you accidentally activate the thing and they sent the fire department, the insurance doesn't really cover that. That happened to me and I thought I was covered but I had to pay $1800 for that. In the end my daughter finally called their head office and they made it so that they would call me first to make sure it was an actual emergency before sending EMS. That way if it's an accident I can avoid having the fire department come out here. The next time I set the alarm off by accident without realizing it they actually called me to make sure I was ok. That was good. They are reliable and the price is good.

I got it several years ago since it was advised by my medical provider, Kaiser. Usually they are quick to answer and take care of the problem. They also check back with me afterwards to make sure that everything is taken care of. I've never had any problem with the equipment. Though I'd like it to be a bit more mobile. If I'm outdoors I have to worry about whether or not they can hear me since it's strictly limited to the house.

I called in to check what they had because I was intrigued about the GPS unit that you can keep in your car. That one can automatically tell them where I am if I need help. The first wristband unit that I had was fairly compact, but this one is really large and I don't like it. It's not as fun as the old style. Every time I call I get great customer support. They are there every time I accidentally push the button. I imagine that every time I do that it's like I'm testing it and it works. The service is a little expensive though.

My son gave it to me. I haven't had any incident where I needed it. I have 2 devices that I use. I usually use the wrist one the most since it's convenient and lightweight. The other one, the necklace, I usually take it with me when I take a shower. I do know that when I call them to do my check up on the thing they are right there so in that respect I'd say it's good. The only thing that annoys me is that once the little button fell out of my wristband. To replace it they wanted $25 to do that. I didn't think that was right, it wasn't a fault of mine, it just happened.

I like the alert system that they have, especially the pendant part of it. I can push it if I'm having a problem and since I'm elderly it's a good thing to have. The people that have answered me on the phone have been very polite. Recently, they sent out a new pendant for me, but unfortunately the cord that was attached to it would not rotate around. It was just completely stuck. My son in law did take it apart and was able to get it to work by using parts from the other one that was thrown out. I do think they are charging all together too much money for it.

I like the necklace that can detect falls. The condition and health problems that I have make me go unconscious a lot of times. I can't push any buttons or do anything if I pass out, so I need LifeStation to detect the fall on its own. It also has GPS tracking, so even if I'm not in the house and fall the response team can find me in a large city like Maryland. Customer support has always been helpful with any questions I've had about my machine or the necklace itself. They always call to check in on me whenever I fall or if my alarm is set off. It has really been helpful, I'm alive today because of it. I just think it's a great system. Anybody with a health condition should definitely look into getting one for themselves.

I've never actually used the button though. The one thing I don't like about LifeStation is that when I started wearing the medallion around my neck I got funny smell out of it. It might have been the metal bits interacting with my skin or something, so I ended up taking it off. I do wear it on the shower and everything and I worry about getting up on a ladder or stool, so it's valuable to me.

I've been satisfied with it, though lately there has been this voice coming on that scares the living daylights out of me about every hour or so. I've asked and there doesn't seem to be a way to tone it down. It seems to be because the battery is low and it has been beeping so far, but they've sent something to fix that and I have to wait 48 hours for it to arrive. In the meantime, if anyone is in the living room, they'll just jump up a mile when this thing comes on. It's so loud and annoying. I'm getting antsy about it. It's connected to the EMS so when I press it they send in an ambulance or whatever I might need. On those occasions I've gotten the EMS here immediately.
