In the last year my income is less that half of what I was previously making. A freedom rep mentioned they could lower my monthly payment and I agreed it was a good idea and chose to apply for the lower rate. I was given x number of business days to complete the application. I completed it on the last day but the rep closed my case preemptively and rejected me. They realized they made a mistake and took extra time to walk me through the process a second time. This time, I submitted everything needed on the same day. They denied me stating "You did not send us what we asked for." I replied asking what I missed but they have ignored all of my emails for the last 3 months.
Dan R, my loan consultant, is wonderful. He's really great at explaining everything so that you can easily understand. He also made suggestions and recommendation out of caring for our financial well being. He also addressed every question and concern that I had, and made the loan application a positive and anxiety-free experience.

The process was fast but they made me feel like they did not trust me since THEY would pay my loan/credit card off, not me (as other competitors sent me the money). The rates were slightly higher and as far as I am concerned any financial entity that cannot be reached through Quicken is second class. ALL first class lending institutions can be managed through Quicken but not these guys.

I have been with this company a while now and have been treated well. what i am upset about is when I made the deal with your representive I was told 6 months of payment i would be able to lower my interest rate. When I called to do that I was told i would have to go through the whole application process over. I was not told that, this I find dishonest of the company, now the interest rate is much lower and I am paying a very high interest rate with this company. I was effected by the pandemic and FreedomPlus allowed me one deferment but after things did not get better they decided to aggressively go after me rather than understand that a lot of Americans are having a hard time right now. They called me 10 times a day demanding their money instead of working with me.
Overall I have been pleased with service. It would be nice to get a email confirmation when I make payments online.

Being as one that wants to consolidate bills these days, I took a chance with FreedomPlus. I really didn't know what to expect as I wasn't too familiar with the company. No matter how many reviews (good or bad), you will always find someone that had the opposite experience. I must say that I had looked into many options and for me, this one was the one. First off, the online application and the subsequent review of my financial state went amazingly fast. The application was easy to fill out and understand. Even though I have only had my loan for a few months now, everything is good... I'll update this as more time passes.
I would not recommend doing business with this organization due to their lack of support, transparency and terrible customer service. Overall bad company, would not give them any future business or recommendations.

Worst customer service ever!! They pull you in with a nice, knowledgeable agent who promises great things, then you are on your own from there. I never got an actual answer to any of my emails only 'it looks like you called and resolved your answer' even though i did not and emailed back that i did not and still got the same canned response EVERY time.. The people i called and spoke to were rude and short with me and made it seem like i was at fault when i wasnt. Rude, unprofessional, unresponsive customer service! If i could, id give it all back and forget this crappy company!
Until now, I would have rated FreedomPlus a good company to do business with. I lost my job due to the Covid-19 pandemic and contacted customer support asking for help. I needed some sort of deferral, like all other financial companies willingly assisted me with. The representative I spoke with at FreedomPlus was condescending and rude. His comment was "why should we give you a deferral if you have no way to pay?" His advice was for me to call back once and if I got unemployment set-up and they might consider a plan. My payment history had been flawless and I did not deserve this treatment. I'm experiencing much hardship, at no cause of my own and this added to my hardship and made me feel even worse than I already did. I needed help in March or April during the shock of losing a job. I thought I was dong the right thing by initiating the contact to let them know and ask for help.
If I could rate a zero I would. I had a high interest loan to begin with. I was solicited by one the Freedom Plus representatives to refinance my loan. I took awhile to decide and finally called back during COVID times to refinance to a lower interest rate. I was told my payment would be taken out the following month. Come to find out the loan consultant mis- calculated and I had to them pay an additional payment. I wish I would have gone with no loan. I was trying to consolidate debt initially. Now my interest rate is still high after refinance, not to mention the 900+ dollars in fees the company tacked on and did not tell me about, Do not go with this company. There are hidden fees and the representatives are just trying to sell a loan. They don’t care about their customers.If you felt stressed prior to seeking out Freedom Financial, warning do not give them you business.
The worse company I have ever decided to work with. With their promises and their pitching how they could help me with my debt, I feel like a fool for ever taking them on their word. Should have looked them up first online and checked their ratings. They have been sued multiple times and have a lawsuit in progress for misleading their customers and fraud. I ended up paying them over $3,000.00, ruined my credit score, and what did they do for me? I ended up owing the same amount of debt minus my $3,000.00. They are dishonest and lie about what they tell you. Then they connect you with their consolidation loan program and they charged me 23%. I would never work with this company and advise going through consumer credit counseling. I still have issues with their lousy web site where you make payments and can't connect with a real person that knows what to do. I have spent over a month trying to sign into my account and every thing that they asked me to do was tried and not worked. PLEASE DON'T BE STUPID LIKE ME!! If you do just a little research, you'll discover their legal issues and defrauding their clients. It's too late for me and I am well educated.

The approval process was about average, nothing outstanding, the fact that THEY pay off your cards/loans/etc instead of giving you the money and letting you do it might be good business but left a bad taste for me since none of their competitors do it. The WORST thing is a company this large and no Quicken support so 3 Stars is about as good as I can give it. Add that to the upfront fees payment and 3 Stars is a high mark
I was solicited for a consolidation loan. I was told that my % would be much less than the % I was paying on the Credit Cards I was consolidating. The loan was easy to get, The company is easy to deal with, and the consolidation did help a bit. However I was paying between 19 & 24 % on the credit cards and I am now paying 19+ % on this loan. NOT exactly a game changer

This company is really terrible. I was told my loan would be complete in about 3 or 4 business days, but it was closer to 7. I told them I did not want the loan if it took that long. So I proceeded under false pretenses. Then, I had direct debit payments, but they debited my payment even before the due date, putting my account in danger of being overdrawn when other payments were presented to my bank at the same time. In addition, if your payment is not made on the exact due date, they report it to the credit bureaus so it looks like you are increasing your amount of debt. Your payment is not credited on the same day that it is made on the website. This makes no sense since they supposedly give you a grace period to make your payment. I cannot recommend them at all.
The original loan was very smoothly processed but at a very high rate. The client originator repeatedly told me that after two on time payments, the loan could be renegotiated at a lower rate. After two years of on time payments, I inquired about renegotiating at a lower rate (the prime lending rate has dropped 200 basis points in this time frame). I was informed their rates were not tied to any measurable benchmark and any savings would be lost to origination fees. This was particularly surprising since two weeks prior, one of their CSRs was the person whop suggested refinancing to me.

I found his customer service skills outstanding. The way he was able to explain every detail in a way that anyone would be able to understand the material as if they had a doctorate in finance. The process was quick and his ability to reassure the normalcy of everything was the most amazing gift that I've encountered in all my years dealing with banking and finance. They are crooked and thief's I would NEVER recommend or do business with them took a loan out for 15,000 3 years ago .I pay every month I'm now down to 3,000.I run a business so I normally pay 2-3 times a month based on the week.The last 6 months CONSTANTLY the same the last payment so there is no late fee I'm locked out and cant pay then I reach out and NO HELP No ASSISTANCE I'm trying to give them money and they are trying to sabotage to get a late fee DO NOT CONSIDER .There is a company I use called prosper 200% better these guys are crooks
