We just got approved today and are waiting the 7-10 days for our credit card to be paid off and ready to make our first payment to freedom plus and put this dent behind us in four years with a substantial savings in interest.

Started with Upgrade 7 days ago. No email, no phone call. My credit score is 690-700 so I would think it would be at least worthy of a call back. I moved on to Freedom plus, in less than 12 hours I was talking to a loan officer and signing documents. Interest rates reasonable and took care of my payoffs loans I wanted to consolidate. Meanwhile, still no word from Upgrade. Good thing I wasn’t on a sinking boat!

It's sad that a couple dissatisfied customers can drag down their ratings! Most of them are 5's and you can't have 5's without having awesome Loan Consultants. Anthony P., Senior Loan Consultant, was so upfront and efficient and the process was so convenient I did it at work. Even though I was approved, Anthony gave me some good tips to increase my credit score after a forclosure in 2010. The rate is so much lower than the cards being paid off, and the payment lower than the combined payments I make monthly now. So I'm overly satisfied with the customer care and results.

I found Freedom Plus through Lending Tree. I had clicked on debt consolidation & immediately received a phone call from Thomas. Once I explained to him that I wasn't looking into negotiation with any of my creditors, he clarified they could help me with a personal loan to consolidate my debt without having to do any negotiations. He then transferred me to Dana, who helped me with the entire process. Although I would've liked a lower interest rate & no origination fee, I know what my credit score looks like & am pleased that my new interest rate is considerably lower than what I currently have on my credit cards. I am pleased overall with the quality of service and professionalism that Brittany gave me while helping me through the loan process. It was easy to get approved and the whole process took about 24 hours to complete and sign the loan documents. There are a couple of drawbacks, which may affect everyone differently. There is a loan origination fee up to 5% which you may get a discount on depending on your credit score. Your interest rate may be high as well depending on your credit score. That is the reason I am giving the rating of 9. I'm not pleased with those 2 factors, but I needed a loan and they provided it with no questions asked. My bills got paid within the 14 days like they promised, so I'm thankful for that. I called customer service for my welcome call once I received my funds and customer service was very professional and courteous and answered any questions I had. I was told to call back in 6 months and that if my credit score goes up and I made 6 consecutive payments without being late that my interest rate may drop. Overall I am very pleased with my decision to get a loan from Freedom Plus.

The application process was simple as stated in the review. I would like to have seen more information on the website though. After I applied online I was contacted quickly by a representative. I uploaded a few forms via a secure link and made arrangements to speak on the phone the next day. The company was prepared to do more that same day but I was busy and needed the extra time. The rest of the process was straight forward. The phone calls were on time and efficient. After a review of my credit report the representative went over the repayment options and I chose the one that best suited me. I was a bit worried that it might turn into some sort of high pressure experience but that didn't happen. The interest rates were clearly presented to me over the phone and I took a couple of hours to think and choose before committing to one. It was a good experience all together.

Osvaldo Lara helped me tremendously with my financial situation. I was told by Freedom Debt Relief that I did not qualify for a consolidation loan even though my credit score was 750. I agreed to enter their program, only to find out later , to my great dismay, that the program was going to destroy my credit. By providing me with the loan consolidation option, Freedom Plus has allowed me to get my debts into a manageable state without destroying my credit. Osvaldo was patient and persevering, and although he did not think that he could help me at first, he agreed to try and much to both our delight was able to after all. He rushed through the paper work, answered questions, and praised and reiterated my initial thought that a consolidation loan was in my best interest. He seemed to be as excited as I was that I was not making a huge financial mistake by continuing down the path with Freedom Debt relief, and seemed happy to have been a part of that process.
