My credit is fair, and I make a decent living, but the times put me in a position that I let my credit card balances go too high. I was frustrated last week about Freedom Plus, and wrote a negative review. However the company eventually made the situation right. I had made a payment early that was applied to the principal, not that month's payment. The first customer service agent wasn't very helpful—told me that she would ask management about reclassifying the payment but also took an adversarial approach. I had to call again to get someone's attention on the matter. However, that second customer service agent was very friendly and expedited my request, getting the payment reclassified in 1 business day.
